No doubt about it Galatasaray will be our toughest test we have had in the Qualifiers the last 3 seasons. As well as we have been playing domestically I really think our players/ setup is so much more suited to European football. I also think we will get through but I have a strong feeling it will go in extra time.

I'm completely split on tomorrow nights euro game. I never want us to lose a game ever, however, I won't be heartbroken if we do get knocked out. I think it would be a huge advantage not having the Thur / Sun games and getting points on board on a Sat putting pressure on Celtic after a europa league match. this is a massive season domestically for us going for 55. On the other hand we need the cash from getting into the group stages 🤷🏽♂️ and it sounds like if we don't get through our transfer market incomings will be zero.

Galatasaray are not the team they once were but it most definitely a step up for us. Falcao is still scoring goals for them and if we let him get any chances he will take them. That being said I do think we wrap players in cotton wool too much.

Agree Snell, these smaller nations are producing better talent these days but their youth setup is superb. I remember watching a short documentary years ago about the scandanavian youth system and from about 6 years old they trained every day and spent hours at a time at the training centres not only learning about football but lifestyle management also. When you look at the majority our youth then you see why they fail to make the grade, attitude, diet, and life choices completely different.

Broxi, you are obviously sharing the same view as our manager and coaching team who probably know a thing or two about footballers.
Reality is that we cannot afford to buy superstars in their prime so we are in the market for players with obvious pedigree and real potential.
Barasic and Kent are just two of our current crop who took time to settle into our team and now lead the stats.
Not every signing will work out - not sure what the acceptable level is but I guess if we buy cheap and 20% hit the real highs we are doing ok.

I actually think he is a player who performs well under pressure but given a bit of time on the ball I think he can be careless in possession. What he is excellent at though is off the ball and plugging gaps left by teammates. The amount of time he breaks up attacks by merely being in the right place is unbelievable.
