Is this the new way forward I ask
myself ? hardly a decent post in a couple
of days...........are we in danger of being closed down? where have all the born again conspiracy
theorists gone? dont tell me I know...
back to septic rumours.com..no I hear you say
they have all gone to conpiracy talk.
and thats what I like about this page
win lose or draw thats not a conspiracy
but its great we lone wolves can say what we like
when we like about football but thats not red hot gossip and inuendo..I have had loads of laughs here Ill be sad to see it shut down

bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbear re lowest crowds at Ibrox and Celtic park on celtic fans website cup game v dundee only 23000 turned up at parkhead that is our lowest attendance, rangers is about 7000 by your own admission. LOL CFC 1967.(having a whisky then off to bed, early start tomorrow)

Believable1 Unbelievable2

I know as a supporter that Ibrox has only 8000. But (If you now your history) it will tell you that the lowest crowd at parkhead is below 10000. Just to let you know I'm in the know and you've not got a clue about your club lol.
Bbear

Agree1 Disagree0

Officially the tims lowest attendance was 4956 v dundee in 1984
rab

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at a game at Parkhead think it was against Killie must have been in the eighty's as lived nearby my brother in law and I would take in some games. It was a midweek game and a fox ran on there were about 7k in attendance!

Have been watching Europa league games this weeek and noticed a definate lack of intrest from fans right across the board.

Here's an idea. Why dont the winners of the Europa league be guaranteed entry to Champion league the following year and drop one of the places from one of the assorted leagues that are allowed more than one place. Surely this would make it a more worthy competition than it is seemed to be just now, for fans and clubs alike.

Just a thought what do you think.

Gerry

Believable8 Unbelievable1

That's a great shout Gerry. A guy that talks sence. The winners of the top 20 leagues in Europe should go straight in to the group stages with the 2nd place teams going into a play off with the other 2 coming from the winners of the Champions league and Europa cup. If the winners of those two competition have already qualified well it should go to the next best placed team in there league.
Bbbbbbbear

Agree4 Disagree0

I wouldnt worry about it, you lot could never win it so it doesnt affect you.

Agree1 Disagree0

It's a definitely no brainer but cant see the England's, Spain, Italies willing to give up any spaces. It's a bit farcical when there usually 4 teams from England playing in CL champions of what I ask you

Agree1 Disagree0

What do you mean with you lot........please explain. Do you think that it would have generated more intrest at Stoke last night as half the ground was empty and it's not often that they play in Europe

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Sep 2011 19:33:19
Some bear on Celtic site said only 25,000 there last night official attendance given as 37,500
Bears we can all remember when the mighty glasgow rangers were playing in front of 7000 and less in league games. CFC 1967

Believable2 Unbelievable3

So what your saying is Celtic have fiddled the attendance? Everyone knows they weren't 37,500. Maybe if you and miko and co went to the games they might have been 37,505 lmao. Timalloy had to take his 2 wee nephews who are Rangers fans to bump up the attendance and make the stadium half full or half emptie what ever way you want to put it. You are a member of the laptop brigade. Part time fan. You and co probably never been to parkhead
Bbbbbbbbear {Ed014's Note - I don't think it is right to belittle people who don't go to matches. You have no idea where they live or their financial situation.I am sure there are plenty of posters on here who do not go to games,it doesn't make them any less a fan.It is certainly not funny so I edited out your "lol" and "lmao" parts.

Agree3 Disagree0

I understand what your saying Ed. That's why I used the word (Fan) and not (Supporter) I Support my team through thick and thin bad times good times 7000 attendance 52000 attendance. But the 7000 attendances was with my Dad and he was paying lol.
Bbbbbbear {Ed014's Note - I understand. It is like when people ask for streams.I have been told we can't tell you any but can post them, but you see people posting '"Get to Ibrox" etc, nobody really knows anybody on here and it isn't a very welcoming atmosphere to anyone.

Agree1 Disagree0

Cheers Ed014, there was a similar quote a while ago on celtic site about "laptop fan" turned out guy was awaiting an operation and could not leave house. As ed says we do not know circumstances so better to say nothing. Banter is one thing trying to make people look small is another thing. Keep it clean guys. CFC 1967 {Ed014's Note - Thank you.I'm still trying to get used to all of this.

Agree1 Disagree1

That's why I said fan instead of supporter. I've supported Rangers through the bad and good times through thick and thin and through 7000 attendance - 52000 attendances. With my dad when it was 7000. I'm not belittling him I understand that people can't go to games for different reasons. But what I do want to point out to 67 is they weren't a kick in the AR*E off 7000 attendances in the 90s. So think before you post. It's banter Ed.
Bbbbbbbbear

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed014 even though I am Celtic fan I love watching big games on tv. This weekend we have Everton-Liverpool and Tottenham- Arsenal, as we cannot get to these games we watch on television. I love all the derby games ours of course Celtic-Rangers, and the el classico Madrid-Barcelona. Ed014 what are your favourite derby games? CFC 1967 {Ed014's Note - I was/am a massive Rangers fan in my youth before moving south through work so the Glasgow derby is still my favourite.I started following Man City when I moved down here so I always look forward to that derby as well, especially this year! Like you though most derbies are good to watch and we all could probably pick a team we favour from each one.

Agree0 Disagree1

This is the guy that posted on Sunday about charities just to get a DIG at us. Come on 67 don't play the saint now. It is a banter page. They are a difference between charities and a laptop fan. The laptop fans go onto the banter page for what YES you guessed it BANTER. What do you think Ed? {Ed014's Note - I'm not sure what you mean. The banter page is for banter and discussions but there is a difference between banter, debate and just dishing out abuse.I seem to delete alot of posts that are just abuse aimed at Celtic fans and fellow Rangers fans which I fail to see the point of if I am honest.

Agree0 Disagree1

All the b's bear, Celtic attendances never fell below 28000 even during bad times, 4 times what your fans turned up to. as you say all the b's bear its BBBBBBBBanter CFC 1967

Agree0 Disagree0

I think your fellow cfc fans will disagree with you and so will I. Not 100% sure but the attendances fell to about 8000. Ask Ed007 he's in the know with everything about Celtic. Or are not posting on the Celtic page after Ed007 put you in your place? Remembbbbbber Ed it's bbbbbbbbbbbbanter.
Bbbbbbbbear

Agree2 Disagree0

It's rivalry Ed. That's the point if we never had it the game would be pointless. Then we all go down the pub with our Old Firm mates and have a pint and some banter after games (well most). We can all hide behind our laptops (cfc67) and have banter but punching below the belt with charities and playing saint. 67 it's bbbbbbbbbbanter.
Bbbbbbbbbbanter

Agree2 Disagree0

As usual you try and have a sensible discussion and one of you wants to turn it into a rammy. You digest every post then weeks later spugh it out again how sad. grow up hope you get your bbbbbbbbbbb fixed soon CFC 1967

Agree0 Disagree2

BBBBBBBear, for every "slight" you think we celtic fans post we could probably give ten times back. I came on in peace for a sensible discussion, not getting dragged into your petty minded arguments. See you still cannot help mention our Timalloy even though he is off for a while, I never heard you or your fellow bears complain about the silly antics your gers fans tried to stir up posting rubbish under his name. Luckily our timalloy rose above it. CFC 1967
PS Ed014 as you are new I wish you well from a celtic fan you will need it on here among all the paranoids

Agree0 Disagree2

The only reason I mentioned timalloy is he can have banter without hitting below the belt not like you. As I've said before go and have a discussion with your very own Ed007 or do you not get on with him lol. 9000 was the attendance in the early 90s
Bbbbbbbbbbear

Agree2 Disagree0

Why not just sort out phone numbers and go on a date debate ?? WHO CARES ??? I took my ex to see Rangers v Clydebank at Ibrox in 1984/85 and you could have counted the crowd, btw we won 4v1 and John Fleck scored a stunner............... Andypandy63, my crowds smaller than yours...... Mince !

Am not gonna agree or disagree because i like ness and i think McKay will be good but i also think bedoya will come good giving more playing time

Ally will stick with the same team that started against Kilmarnock. The reason I know that is I was drinking with Ally's best mates friend daughters boyfriend who takes his wee dog for a walk next to where Sir David Murray stays. Just passing on what i heard from a reliable source.

Can all Timothy's please stop posting about being in Yoorup. If you had qualified fair and square you would have every right to boast but the fact is you sneaked in the back door after being humped by a poor Swiss team. Thats certainly nothing to boast about or be proud of and i lmao at claims to the contrary. Your club and manager are a joke just now. Runners up since 1888.

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Sounds like jealously to me.

See if rangers/scotland (or any other team in any sport) got back in to a comp for whatever reason & you supported them, would care?

Am sure Craig Whyte would bite the hand off if this happened to rangers ?

Said it b4 Celtic don't expect to go through as have Many Celtic/rangers fans have said that group is like a CL group. It gets Celtic 4-5million that goes into the bank, some thing Craig White wishes that was going his way.

Hail hail
Lenny.

Agree2 Disagree6

Jealous of what?? LMAO. Course we would care, we would know we had no right to be in the competition whatsoever. Celtic should be ashamed to take the place back and i think you'll find we have had far more Euro games than Celtic in the last few seasons and whats more we EARNED the right to play in them. It doesn' matter how much money it makes you you are still a laughing stock and even though we are skint we are still NO 1 and always will be. Runners up since 1888.

Agree6 Disagree1

AF course a would have loved rangers to be in Europe but the way Celtic got in is embarrassing and if it was rangers i would be embarrassed to be in Europe because fair enough we got put out because we weren't good enough but at the end of the day yous didn't do any better and yous got through and it wasn't by winning but losing what yous really thought yous were gonna get by the group stages after getting beat of sion yous are mental and yous still think yous will win the league when yous are 7 points behind hopefully 10 tommorow a just think yous are living a hope which isn't there and yous will drop more points this season guaranteed rangers will propabley drop some points to but i would say we defenetley look the stronger side and i say wee will win four in a row
in ally wee trust

Agree3 Disagree1

Lenny, Celtic will only get £4-£5m if they win games and fill it's stadium. So Celtic will be lucky if they make a profit of £2m.

Agree6 Disagree0

By the time Celtic pay out all the over heads, police, stewards, catering, and a hairdresser for big samkissmyaras. Youse will probably just have your heads above water. Maybe if all the Celtic fans that were posting on here yesterday went to the football Celtic might make a bit more money instead of being the laptop brigade lmao. Aye youse know who you are lol. Part time fans.

Believable1 Unbelievable7

Still top CFC 1967 and will always be no.1 mate despite being skint. Shows how bad Celtic are. Far better than being runners up since 1888.

hmm my first impressions of
bedoya are that he ain that great. Looks very nervous on the ball, not strong enough and has little bravery (everytime he has gotten thball h ahs quickly moved it onto the nearest player to him in total fear) Would like to see what McKay has to offer tho.

Germinator

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Bedoya has not really had a chance to show what he can do. 15 min here and 15 mis ther is not a propper chance. It's hard to come on as a sub and impose yourself on the game. I sa give him a start and then make judgement.

You really can't help but laugh at Lennon. He claimed Celtic never get breaks in Europe. Re-instated after going out to Sion, given an early penalty, the opposition bring a weakened team but no they don't get any breaks. Is this guy for real, stop complaining and get on with the job.

a few weeks ago I was laughed at for breaking the London Rangers story accused of being a Celt and generally dismissed.
Now its in the public domain with CW and Sally confirming that this is under discussion perhaps the dimwits that can see no further than there next bevvy may open their minds now and recognise that drastic actions are being considered.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

I cant see it happening it was laughed at 10 years ago-who needs it bar clubs like us that cant generate compariable income from the domestic game-if we could enter the english game we`d earn something £70m+ per season extra- i admit the thought of awaydays at man u,city, chelsea, liverpool etc etc etc are mouth watering and as for the atmosphere at ibrox it would be unreal-but in all honesty we`d be lucky to be a top table championship club
the spl is dead on its feet in my eyes its sub standard any figures are dropping year after year

Guys if sky t.v say the of are joining the english legues its gonna happen..the epl is nothing without sky tv money..simple

Agree4 Disagree0

Listen laughed at man wether MR WHYTE starts a new team & calls it WE ARE THE PEOPLE LONDON RANGERS or whatever the f*** he wants 2 call it, do you think for 1 minute I or any other bear in bearland would support any other team other than RANGERS FC he can explore any avenue he wants but the RANGERS support would not stand for it, yes you may get RANGERS fans in england going but here are a couple of examples man u fans started a new team because they were not happy with glazier family they are doing ok but is old trafford attendances affected by this no, also wimbledon became mk dons again done ok, hardly world beaters though so my point is there is no breaking down the turnstyles to watch these teams the same as I would not go & support any other team than the RANGERS team that plays out of IBROX

hey guys been over at the runners up page and it is hilarious the majority of their fans think celtic were great last night if thats them being great then we can go into administration get 20 points deduction not 10 take a couple of weeks off and still win the League lol

Believable7 Unbelievable2

How did rangers play last night ?

Aw aye forgot that's another cup that uses got knocked out of ?

Aw well hail Hail

Say by tea time on saturday rangers were deducted 10 points.rangers would still be top of the league.lol

Papac is not a midfield and never will be so for me he has to play at left back and maybe play Wallace left midfield ?

Agree2 Disagree0

Wylde is a left winger so will not play on the right. Papac is the left back first, Wallace will just need to sit on the bench, safer with Papac.

The team should be

the team is playing well just now. guys like Wallace and Mckay, as much as i would like to see them in the team, will have to wait their turn.

They say scottish teams will never play in the english leagues. which is fair enough, but why are there welsh teams? {Ed001's Note - until 1992 the Welsh didn't have a national league for their teams to play in. When the Welsh clubs were offered the chance to join the new league, the likes of Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham and Newport County turned it down. Scotland have always had their own league for Scottish clubs to play in.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Good answer Ed, didn't know that.

Have to say although I'd be excited about Rangers playing in the EPL I don't think I could ever love a London Rangers anywhere near how much I love my club, Glasgow Rangers.

On Gers moving to England and what Dave Wheelan thinks: first respondent was spot on- no one gives a monkey's what Dave Wheelan thinks about turkeys voting for Xmas, ultimately if Rupert wants it Rupert will get it.

Eject a couple of diddy teams like say I don't know, a wigan and a wolves and bring in Rangers and Celtic? I can see that. Uefa badly need to do something to help the proposed "Atlantic lge" mob, it's us that have been killed by the advent of the misnomer that is "The Champions' Lge" while the also-rans from the "big leagues" have their cake and eat it year after year. This position was inevitable. What will it be like in twenty years?!? Even more dull, with inequality further entrenched- the mind boggles!

You have to laugh at the English in a way. They act so superior, but in truth their league is about as open as ours, or Spain's! Incredibly boring!
