Hi

Rangers are doing well in the league and Europe, with that brings a lot of interest in our players and more worrying our manager.

Gerrard would walk into any club and do the business, just glad he is here for now.

We need to hold on to our better players, at lest until the league is ours.

Agree with you Coldo to a point as Gerrard has no right to walk into any other club however because he has not won a trophy is not the reason he is still a rookie. There are plenty of good managers out there that have won he haw. Is Lennon a great manager?

Not really Coldo, I agree with grahameggman, Gerrard has done wonders for Rangers reputation throughout Europe and the progress we have made since he took over has been way beyond what I expected us to be at this time.

Gerrard is going in the right direction, it takes at least a couple of seasons for players to buy into his system of doing things, they are singing from the same hymn sheet now, just look at how long it took Sir Alex Ferguson to win a trophy and how successful was he? We need the manager to lay solid foundations for the future success of the club,
All those who think Gerrard is a failure because he didn't win trophys in his first year in charge need a reality check, He took over what was basically a broken football club, the best is yet to come.

To be honest I expected Gerrard to have won at least a cup by now so I think your expectations are a little low. It’s night and day the difference since SG has taken over. When he took over our club we were a joke. Celtic were turning up to give us a hiding. Any Gers fan that says they can’t see the difference is kidding themselves. Gerrard is the best thing to happen to our club.

Coldo regarding Celtic were miles ahead due to our circumstances and we are only catching up now . The way a board might view Stevie g is how he has pumped up the value of our squad ten fold . not one player . not two . not three. but prob 7 or 8 of the squad are worth an awful lot more now stev has got ahold of them .
Curious to see the negatives responding to that point .

Coldo, this is the best start to a season that I can remember and I’m going back to the early eighties, yeah Gerrard hasn’t won anything but it’s about what he’s been building the last two seasons. Wonder What he could achieve with Walter smiths or advocaats budget.

Wouldnt say he could walk into any club right now but for sure bottom half of the prem at least. He got the rangers job with no managerial experience at all based purely on his name. Plus imo he has performed better than Lampard and he's done alright.

Steven Gerrard is taking our club places and like i've always stated,
will win the league as rangers manager. The absolute mess he inherited, was always going to take time and we're now beginning to see it coming together 👍His name attracts players and he's learning fast now, with a very good, professional management team around him. I back him to the hilt and he'll get us where we all want us to be with a little patience! His european record is stunning and i now believe he's cracked the domestic game, in scottish football. So pleased we took the chance on stevie G 👌.

If Klopp called it a day this season I think Gerard would be seriously considered for the Liverpool job.

Cant see him going to a bottom half club at all or a Liverpool challenger unless he thinks he'll never get the Liverpool seat.

Perhaps some on here do not accept defeat as well as you do bluebell and see the fact that we have not won a trophy for a number of years as a bad thing. Losing an odd game against the sheep or hibs is just about bearable but dropping points to livi and hamilton is NEVER acceptable and has cost us dear in the last two seasons, perhaps I'm wrong but when we drop points and moan, that's not throwing the toys out the pram, its disappointment with a touch of pain thrown in.

Fans are desperate for us to take advantage of our position, something which we have failed to do on numerous occasions over the past two seasons when we have had the chance to. The reason we have to win on Sunday is to keep the pressure on Celtic and to show we are a different team this season with a stronger mentality. Killie away has always been a tough game for us over the last 2 seasons, but If we win this, then we lay down one helluva marker!
Celtic fans are wetting themselves at the prospect of us dropping points on Sunday (you just need to pop over to their site for proof) so If we win (which I believe we will) think what it will do to them. On the flip side to us winning, any dropped points could hand them the impetus they are praying for and that must not happen!

Never understood that one fc1962, until I saw him in a European game away from home. The guy was brilliant that night. When he did the no nonsense stuff he was fine and the old fox, Walter, could always get the best out of him. Nowadays he is slower than a week in the jail and likely to cause injury with his nonsense. Seems to take delight in goading our players. I have to say it would be understandable some guy taking a red card for slapping his big coupon, especially with the game won.

I used to work with a girl who threw a drink around Broadfoot in a nightclub in Ayr when he went for her when she knocked back his advances. I don't know him or his family, but the girl in question knows them well and apparently they think they're some sort of ticket.
The most memorable thing I remember him for was winding up wee McGeady during an old firm game we wiped the floor with them.

I’d fancy Benfica aswell dsger. But u never know. With our defence the now if we can get Alfie firing again we could get a win each or even 4 points. It’s not far fetched to say we could beat them. I would say watching the game again that lech certainly handled the conditions a lot better than we did. Taking small touches controlling the ball while wet underfoot. I would imagine that play in that a lot more than us with snow or rain a common thing over there. They had pace down the wings which caused us a bit of trouble but not a lot up top.

Plus the big striker shouldn’t have been on the park for the rake he done. They are more than a decent side who if I’m honest probably played the better football as we only played for like 10 mins of the first and bout 30 mins of the second. The goal is all about the cross. Pace and accuracy of the ball in means it flew off Alfie’s head. Barasic is fast becoming a great lb and will leave us for a significant fee. 👍 mon the Gers Sunday 🔴⚪️💙.

I really couldn't care that castore are going to be suppliers to Newcastle utd. Good luck to them and over time we're probably going to see more clubs use castore. I don't see what all the fuss is about. They can make and sell their products to whoever they like and as long as its a good deal for Rangers then who cares what they do with other clubs.

Questioned it when the rumours circulated when we announced partnership with Castore and this just makes me believe those rumours may have had an element of truth to them! In saying that as long as we have a deal in place that benefits Rangers then I’m happy to atleast see the contract out. Would like to see us go for a bigger name for next contract possibly under armour or new balance something along those line.

He isn't directly involved with us or has a say in the running of our club. Castore have already said he isn't involved with them so I think it would be very foolish of them to lie. 👍.

Just because Newcastle and castors sign a deal involving kit supply, doesn’t mean Ashley part owns castors or has a share, the likelihood is that Newcastle are the biggest club In epl that need a new kit supplier for next season and so castors have made there move same as there doing with Roma in Italy.

I think they were just a good team (best we’ve played this season) . We didn’t play bad and it was a great 3 points. If they had somebody good up front they would cause most teams some problems. We also looked a little tired and I’d expect some changes for Sunday. It was a really professional performance yesterday.

Something that's been bugging me for a wee while now is why do the players who are subs not wear their strip. You now see them putting their strips on when when called upon. What's the logic in this or why do they do it, is this the new cool thing to do? Guaranteed there will be a time one of them can't find their strip and delay going on.

Speaking with a friend during match, SG has done a great job with the team as when he came in the resources were limited. But look at the team he has built Balogun, Kamara, Defoe etc. Kamara must be worth 5m. Yes a lot of loans but the team spirit is high. Steven Gerrard and his team deserve credit and I take my hat off to him well done.
