Although our full starting 11 has to play to the top of their game next week, against celtic in the Betfred league cup final, i truly think that ryan kent will be the difference and our matchwinner. He's now very close to being 109% fit and playing to his best and if he does in the final, he'll take their right full back apart imo. He'll supply for alfredo, who i feel will break his duck and score against celtic. I fancy us 2-1 next week with morelos and kent on the scoresheet. Kent will show the watching public next week, why we shelled out £7million to liverpool for him.

I hope your right SGL but when I take my blinkers off and face reality, I see a Celtic side that are flying, movement and energy is terrific, goal scorers from all over the park, and more effective attacking options than Rangers. Their midfield is more attack minded than ours and move the ball forward quicker, we are heavily reliant on Alfredo to dig us out of holes, which he has done in brilliant style. If were going to beat Celtic every player will need to be up for it 100%, no passengers, no Aribo (slows the attacks down), no Ohno (just not good enough), and Alf firing on all cylinders, fingers crossed.

Hi
Rangers are in a good place at this time football wise and if we lose against Celtic in the final it would be a big set back, for team, fans and all associated with the club.
For me this will be the most important game for us this season because of the good feeling factor continuing in the chase for the league title.
If we win, it will put the wind in our sails and set us up for the possible treble.
I would settle for the league if nothing else but losing this final would put a big dent in that.
In Gerrard we trust.

I do get where your coming from but from a Rangers winning mentality point of view I don't agree, every game is important, absolutely every game. To win a cup you have to beat all before and to win a league you have to win more than the others form day one. Gerrard and any other manager worth his salt concentrate on the next game and winning the next game. let's call the cup final, a great opportunity to win some silverware but Hearts could be a stepping stone like any other game to wining the league so just as important.

All the Chat about whether we would accept a huge bid for Fredo. I think the 2 big games against the Dhims (cup and league) will have a huge bearing. Win them and it shows ww have serious intent.
Lose them and it then shows we are still 2nd best and turning down a huge offer might be seen as pointless by the bhoard.
Make no mistake guys, lack of pace in our CB's against them could decide if Alfie is kept.

Slim Jim, Before Coldo comes back on and keeps insisting we will sell Morelos in the Jan window for 40 to 50 million GBP. I agree with you and DK19 that the board haS said NOT FOR SALE IN JAN TRANSFER WINDOW.
To insist he WILL go for the right ammount is tantamount to saying The board are LIARS.
I am trusting in their honesty cause as iv'e already said previously, we have no chance of any silver this season without Morelos or an even beter replacement.

Not posted in a while. Wee period in hospital but fighting fit again.
Was thinking that we have not really been able to replace candy so will throw an old familiar name into the hat. Weiss contract up in June next year, so would prob get him for under a million. Goals and assits are still excellent and is still only 30. Kent, Alfie, Weiss.

Does anyone have a view on the scale of the next share offer?
Assuming the current big players are not going to sell their shares, is there likely to be someone who will not just replace DK as chairman but also as majority shareholder?
I think DK owns 25% + of the shares so to become majority shareholder some one will have to have deep pockets and put bid money into the club.
Or, is DK likely to sell say £10m shares to recoup some of his investment?

Anything is possible, DK but if an individual or concert party end up with over 30% of shares the are legally bound to make an offer to all other existing shareholders.
U may be familiar with take over panel rules.
If king then wanted to cash out it gives him a way, without as some say bailing out. Ie recoups family money.

Coldo, my take is than DK will remain as a significant shareholder if not the biggest. If he sold out Completely it would not benefit the club financially so his proclamations of job done would feel a bit disengenious.

I have heard that the investment is dependant on King stepping down, this is why I think he might sell. That's anything but concrete mind you, its only what I heard. Wolhardt rumour is gathering pace. King has done his bit to be fair. 👍.

Pretty sure he said in the interview after the agm that he would still be the biggest shareholder but not involved with the day to day running of the club.

Any investor/ s is going to want significant shares, wolhardt apparently has a strong influence in the board room. Maybe wolhardt is the middle man between the club and the investor/ s. Just my take on it👍.

Coldo i was told the exact same mate, that the investment that's allegedly coming to rangers, was dependent on dave king stepping aside and julian wolhardt is a very prominent player in this investment.
He could also replace king as the new rangers chairman. This guy is highly credible, with a terrific business head. Its most definitely looking good for the future.

I don't know if that means anything to anyone, I do not have any reliable or in the know contacts and only passing on what I heard. That david guy is supposed to be a billionairre, again don't know if that's relevant. 👍.

Brian. Apart from flares we never saw any trouble, definitely never saw that banner in Rotterdam or stadium. I personally never heard th f word used.
Atmosphere was fantastic and couple of pubs we were in drinking with the Dutch were fine.
We heard only two rangers fans were arrested. we were quite surprised when we saw the headlines on our return.

Both the banner and the 2 fans singing the songs where filmed possibly in Amsterdam. definitely not in or in proximity to the stadium. The "mass brawl" that was reported in the press with a video included was 2 guys fighting.
