Traditionalist Jason has to be winter, it would clash with to many summer sports and the winters now are not what they used to be, we've not really had a bad winter this year.

Yes good point bongo! My team won the world cup so I am happy :-) but have to agree a bbq in summer with friends and family is the best. Just think Scotland's needs to look at something marketable to make the game more appealing and bring in a new audience. Maybe Sky might be able to work with it to fill in their summer programming.

point of interest when it comes to backroom staff.
On the Ladies and Girls listed page we have no less than 1 manager and 11 ( yes eleven) coaches listed.
Who exactly is taking the p"ss here?
Can't believe what I'm reading here. We are a club with big financial problems and we are overloading the coaching of teams that DON'T even earn us any income?
Is it any wonder we are in the you know what!!

Ed&Fellow Bears Help.
I was asked a question last night by a mate, and I'm struggling with the answer. It was Name 11 Rangers players in the last 25 years(1995)who's name start and end in the same letter, I think I've managed to get 8, (I won't say them yet in case you want a guess, one of my answers was Nigel Sparkman, but that was wrong, would appreciate some help if anyone knows.Cheers.fibj

If Nigel spackman was deemed wrong I'm guessing it was just surname so going with that here's a few mate Souness, Numan, Stansaas, Stevens, shiels, Shields, Malcolm, Arteta, Snelders, and Ginzburg, like you say mate the ole heads not what it used to be thank goodness for old programmes and the Internet.

Looking into goal diff for Euro 2016. if teams are equal on points, they look at goal diff in games played between those teams, if same, away goals scored by tied teams, if same then they look at goal diff in all games played. I think!

Sounds like nothing change with Scotland then, I seem to remember when Roxburgh & Broon were manager it was all, if this happens and that happens then as well

Think it's goes head to head between the two teams we have a better goal difference than Germany just now but they are above us in the table because they beat us. It's the same in Spain it doesn't go to goal difference but settled on the head to head meetings first then onto goal difference if the teams can't be separated.

Aye, all about stats for Roxy and Broon. famously asking us to "check the stats" after we lost to Costa Rica to prove that we were better team. main stat being Us 0-Costa Rica 1. which made rest irrelevant. but honestly feel we'll make it without need for "stats".

Guys it is all on head to head, everyone's games against Gibraltar do not count, Scotland got beat by Germany by one goal so must beat them by 2 clear goals to better them, Poland and Scotland drew so we must either beat them or have a higher scoring draw, with the Republic we won so we only need draw in dublin to have a better head to head.

If we don't beat Germany by 3 clear goals I will be disappointed. lol
