Another made up rule by the lawwell led SPL, one rule for one.

Wilson agreed to take a pay cut to stay at Tynecastle. and the SPFL confirmed the deal would not count as a new registration, and would be allowed under their current embargo

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good god how paranoid can you be. It is not a new registration is it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheek to moan! And how's it always lawell?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hearts have been given a transfer window to sign whoever they want before a transfer embargo is applied, though

Agree0 Disagree0

Geez peace wi Lawwell. I assume he's orchestrating the unrest in Egypt and the riots in Brazil too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think the people that got paid off at hearts will be to pleased, also did we not get stopped by SPL to sign cousin?

Dinnae be daft OP, agreeing a pay cut isn't even a new contract never mind a new registration. You clearly have no clue about the legal side of things which only points to one thing. bitter paranoia.

Agree0 Disagree0

There's small-minded paranoia within every support. I know some bears who think Lawwell runs all, and equally some of my Celtic mates say that Ogilvie is Ranger's man on the inside. blah blah.

Best ignore all that pish from both sides, wouldn't be surprised if it's just trolling from people not even interested in either side.

Could anyone explain the payment options available for Rangers season tickets?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cash, cheque or credit card card mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 payments by direct debit through some company called Zebra Finance or 4 payments direct to the club by direct debit. The first option is pending a credit check. Then obviously the other option is one off payment by credit or debit card. Think the first option carries some additional interest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Finance option too.
10 monthly payments

Agree0 Disagree0

Payment via 4 or 10 month instalment also available.
AJM.

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly the same as celtics. I didn't know this til I read you guys answers.

yes zebra finance, 4 or 10 payments. and nothing in between.

I payed cash at parkhead. shammy

Who do u think ally next signings will be, and do u think Berra will actually sign!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think berra is a done deal, I would like to see a couple of good prospects from abroad come in

Think maybe only 1 0r 2 coming from Newcastle now courtesy of Mr Ashley. You heard it first hear.

Not sure I fancy some Newcastle reserves or cast offs or even in fact there young players because we need to get our own one's through. Although its hardly ideal us being in the second div, it actually does provide us with a great opportunity to get our young players playing, we should only sign players that were are going to take forward that will be with us for a few years, so we can build something special!

Agree0 Disagree0

I am all for building for the future bears. But how many players do we really need. let's calm it down till Sept at least.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that the same players who were coming from Newcastle last year? You lot are so gullible

Agree0 Disagree0

They (Newcastle) have only given one year deals to the 2 St. Mirren boys from last year Conor Newton and Paul Drummett so it won't be either of those. No point in giving them deals to loan them out to someone else till it expires. They will get a first team chance this season i'm sure of it. The boy Newton was brilliant. He should have been offered a contract at Rangers. I don't understand why he wasn't to be honest.

Agree0 Disagree0

We could not of got anyone last year because of the transfer embargo. So I have no clue where you are coming from.

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably find that Ally is sizing up more prospects than required because he knows a certain percentage of them won't come through when the time comes to actually sign on the dotted line.

Like an airline double booking seats on a plane because they know there will be no shows.

Anyone who knows the slightest thing about football knows that Craig Gordon is a far better keeper than cammy bell and that's not taking anything away from bell because he is a good goalie, but here's the question, if rangers don't sign Gordon who would you prefer as our no. 1 keeper, cammy bell or marian kello?I throw this out there to my fellow rangers fans

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gordon will never go to the new club, he knows just how low it is. Ppl need to wake up no good player goes to rangers to play, only there for a check which the club throws money at players cause they know they would never come. That's why old players are signing up, thought black was going to be a superstar for yous, what happened there?

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 Law is 25, Peralta is 24, Clark is 22, Bell is 26, Smith is 27, Foster is 27

Old players right enough, with them in the squad we're like a team of pensioners

I'm sure your post is coming from a balanced, unbiased, certainly not green tinted, point of view

/sarcasm

Agree0 Disagree0

@2) all those guys are available freebies mate. None with a market transfer fee value. Still, they're full time guys in a division where all the other teams are part time, so that makes them special and they'll get three competitive games each before they're even registered with the SFA.

Agree0 Disagree0

Artur Boruc is looking to come back to Scotland. sorry light hearted banter. Vinciebhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 What does it matter that they're free, we are only allowed to sign free transfers

as an aside this does not mean they hold no transfer value, for an outlay of £0 in transfer fees we have just signed up assets with future transfer values

your point about part timers is just as pointless, do you expect us to sign plumbers and postmen because that's what the rest of the division have to do?

of course not

The initial point was saying that players are only signing for Rangers to make money, which in these economic times is hilarious at even a basic level of logic

Agree0 Disagree0

Gordon's talent is not in doubt his fitness and longevity are if he were to go from a £9 million premier league keeper to a sfl2 it would be his admission that he is finished and is merely picking up some free money while its on offer. First rule of football management never sign a player based on what he could do five years ago (don't tell alex mcleish as de la cruz and burke can still do a job in his eyes)

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to agree to a certain extent with the OP. What are the new signings ambitions? They could have remained in the top tier and realistically played European football (assuming that Celtic wipe the board next year). And yet they sign for us. Why? Also, what are our motives for signing these guys? We don't need them. We already have the squad to win the league. I'm sorry but I'm not going to blindly follow the team just because we make some signings. I want to see facts. Where is the money to pay these guys?

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 because no matter what league we are in Rangers are a bigger club than their previous teams

We're in the 2nd division and the general consensus is still that we're the only team who can challenge Celtic

Don't be surprised to see a fair few USA youngsters joining Rangers in the coming weeks. Rangers scouts have been watching 'College Soccer' in America over the close season in an attempt to spot promising young talent before they are drafted into the MLS.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Charles. Stop it. Rangers scouting system? Daly, Law, Clark and Bell. that's really scouring the world. You also forget the draft system in the USA for promising younger players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely its not Charles? Surely its Mathers?
Wasn't he supposed to be the Murray Park youth director. Bring them in and sell them for big profits (for himself?).

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 the OP quite clearly pointed out they would be scouted and signed BEFORE the draft system applies to them

Not saying I believe it or not, but at least read the post before wading in

Agree0 Disagree0

@3/ You would only get the ones not wanted in the draft.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 the draft is not an issue, any discussions would happen BEFORE the draft took place

the MLS does not have some kind of monopoly on the lives of young American footballers, once they graduate they can decide where there future lies

Again not saying I put any stock in the OP but it's not outwith the realms of possibility

With the players ally has at his disposal he better not play 4-5-1 this season as I think it could sicken a lot of fans.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No the answer is even more fans

Agree0 Disagree0

He will play 4-5-1 but the 2 wingers will play high up the park

temps/little/mckay/clarke

Agree0 Disagree0

It's all he knows, he is no manager and blind loyalty cause he was a legend for the club stops it from moving on. He was one of the ones who helped end the club for keeping shut and taking money. He knows this is the only place he can get a job and is taking all he can while fans support him. Shocking how fans would rather hold on to the past then move on and actually play football

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed can we have an exclusive page just about the bestest bus in the world {Ed001's Note - I think there is already one on the Celtic site, judging by the amount of posts I have seen about it on there......}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, bears, just want to point out, I think your new bus is a good thing, as I have said on our page. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

Will a team managed by Ally ever be worth more than the sum of its parts?

thats the question which will be answered next season

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 and Ed, don't you think it's funny and sad how the club is celebrating this bus and all the attention? And the license plate on it rather then looking at football aspects. Of course you are going to get made fun at and of course its going to get a lot of laughs and joked about. Bit I guess the obsession talk will just start up again eh {Ed001's Note - not really. It is nothing more than something to talk about at the moment. I really don't understand how it matters at all.}

Agree0 Disagree0

@3. Spot on mate, been saying this for ages and been getting called a Tim for ages, McCoist is milking Rangers dry and humiliating the club with his pitiful excuse for tactics, but worst of all is the way he has constantly spouted boardroom rhetoric whilst claiming empathy with the very supporters he helps keep in the dark over the real issues inside Ibrox. Unfortunatley quite a few Bears see him as our saviour (I know its beyond belief) so we will have to wait and see what lasting damage he and his cohorts do to Rangers in their pursuit of personal financial reward.

I would love to see Gordon coming in, sure we probably won't need him but goalkeepers get injured too! we have always had 2 strong (ish) keepers Klos/McGregor Klos/waterrus (ish) Klos/Charbonier/Niemi Goram/Woods.

Wouldn't it embody our rise from the ashes. Gordon a player still credited with the best ever epl save, would be playing epl and Scotland no 1 if not for injuries if he can get his career back on track for his peak years. what a great place to find his feet again, no pressure.

Lets not forget that not too long ago arguably the best Keeper of our generation Gianluigi Buffon said that Gordon was one of the best in the world.

Cammy Bell is good enough, but if I could choose one in their prime. Its Gordon any day.

Bluenosed Rodders

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Can you find me a video of the EPL'S best ever save? don't think I've ever seen it

Agree0 Disagree0

Goram arrived as woods left.
