Saw Windass play for Accrington a couple of years ago. He was definitely one of the best young players in English league 2 at that time. He had a tough season last but he's a good player with a lot of potential. Will find a starting place even tougher to come by with the addition of Walker but I reckon he has a chance.

Was impressed with windass today, said on my 1st post on here last month he would be one-off the "deadwood" I'd get rid off but maybe I was a little harsh giving he's still young and could he a great profit for rangers in years to come if he continues to perform like he done today. Can't say am totally convinced but pre season wise he's been impressive. Things really are now looking up now not just in windass performances but rangers performances as a whole 👏🏻.

Was really impressed with team today. right from the off we were all over them. defence, midfield, attack all played their part . we are not the finished article but feel good about the coming season 🇬🇧

Rangers played very good football today and look a potentially very good side - it was no friendly until the very end.

Dorrans and jack bossed the midfield and alves and cordosso bossed the defence. We finaly look like a team. Should be in for a good season.

Think we should be a bit less indulgent and a lot more respectful when we consider team selections for the cup competitions. We are already out on our arses from one competition and remember Dunfermline have seen off Hearts. 3 competitions remaining and one of the cups is probably our best chance of silverware. To win the league is one hell of an ask! I think we should be playing our strongest team and try to get some real statement results on board; some 4,5 or even 6 nils. Put down a marker and announce the return of the Famous Glasgow Rangers. And give up no chance of a trophy lightly.

Reading Cathro's comments on Jamie Walker today, it sounds a lot like Scott Allan and Barrie McKay. His heart's not in it anymore and he wants out and the best thing Hearts can do is let him go and take our offer. Hibs didn't have the decency to let Allan follow his dream and I suspect Hearts will give the guy what he wants. To play for Rangers.

That's a strange one, I'd rather get the first team squad gelling! Maybe it's to give him more games with the 20s he can play in 1st gear rather than rushing him into top team games and having a set back with his injuries

He has been out for almost a year he needs game time, as he is nowhere near ready for first team it makes sense to give him as much game time as possible with Ubder 20s to get his match fitness up to speed.
I expect it will be Sept/ Oct before he is ready to return to first team, u less injuries or suspensions force otherwise
