If its true about Mike Ashley wanting to sell Newcastle and buy us I wonder how King will react as it was rumoured he is planning to buy us. Will it spur him on or will he fade into the background.

The more interest shown in buying the club the better.

Thats the rumour in newcastle. Seems he wants Kinnear and Wise to run things.

These people had their chance to put their money where their mouth was when we were sold for 5 million. So why now would they want to pay perhaps in excess of 40million. Just let's get our head down and get on with it and stop looking for another sugar daddy remember where the last one left us.

@4 what has green got to do with it, he only owns just over 5 million shares out of 67m, that's 7. 79% of the club. His shares are valued at 2. 13m quid at todays share price of 42p

The holding comany is owned by the shareholders? green owns about 8% of the company

@6 If you are referring to RIFC PLC then the shareholders own the company and the company own the assets of the club, Green holds 7. 79% and Ashley holds 4%

Its all there on the website in the investor section for anyone to see, any shareholder holding more than 3% of a PLC must be declared by LSE rules

I love the wee man and will never forget the countless memories, but I'm getting sick of Nacho Novo's pandering to the fans in the press, practically begging for a contract. He is sounding so desperate and is playing on his "fan favourite" tag now to the point where it's really annoying and so over the top. Ally is doing the right thing and finally showing he has a back bone. Let it go Nacho, you've had your time. Quit while you're ahead or you'll ruin it by becoming a pathetic beggar.

Miles off mate, like most your posts. Novo can be excellent cover for our first 3 choice forwards.

His show at the game was pathetic. Ally would have sorted him tickets but instead he wanted to play up to the fans. It was quite embarrassing.

Take the hint Nacho, Ally and the management team don't want you at Ibrox because if they did they'd have taken you on when you were supposed to be going to forfar or raith or the accies or whoever else you're supposed to have been movin to.

I would take him any day because he gives his heart to the club why don't we just sign him up on a low wage and pay him good for the goals he scores
