Is Scotty out for the Celtic game, its all very quiet regarding him. He was scheduled for scan the other day and you would have though the staff would know the extent of his injury by now. Well I said last week Morelos needed dropped he was for 2 games playing off bench
I said he would be back in today which he was and I said he would be in the scoresheet and he was
I reckon that goal today should do him good and that he finds his form and shooting boots again we will be even better 2nd half of season
I don't discriminate against slating any player when in my own judgment not doing as well as I think they should irrespective of whether Gerrard picks them or not

And I'll say just now I'll be very very surprised if Hagi starts on Saturday I reckon he'll play from the bench in my own judgment

We need to find out directness again we are not direct enough today and that's not how we have been playing most of season so hopefully we find that directness fast fluent passing for Saturdays match.

If we do find it I'll be confident in a win
If it turns very scrappy then anything can happen and probably would suit them more

another prediction is Roofe on the scoresheet on Saturday one way or another.

We were again way off the boil today not our fluent selves but 2 goals clean sheet 3 points. Next game I'm not confident Celtic getting there mojo back and we're losing ours a little. First goal in the game going to be very important.

Kent should have a field day against they’re big centre half who has been playing right back. Big Duffy is worse than konterman and brown has been finished for the last two seasons. If we play our game we’ll boss them for 90 minutes.

I wouldn’t say brown has been finished the last 2 seasons mate he still lifted the league title both times along with a treble each time, regardless of people’s opinions on the legitimacy of it, so if he’s been past it then it doesn’t say much for us. I think this will be his last season but still wouldn’t say he’s past it just needs to pick his games, like today, and get legs around him. Game will be very tight. Both teams will be nervous.

Scott brown a different player to Barry, Barry was more of a visionary passer who got on the ball and dictated play. He ran games burg at home and in Europe especially from 99 to early 200s obv after he came back and the injuries he had to change his game but Barry of the advocaat years was tryuly world class he played the best in Europe off the park other than mendieta gave him a lesson home and away. However brown never been near that class but he has done a job for celtic and used what he head to good effect. I wanted him from jobs. Thought he was a great all action runner and tackler who could be coached to be a v good player. And he was. Never in Barry’s class but why compare them. Different types. I think Saturday will be very tight and I think could be 1-1 or 2-2.

Well what more can I say than it's 3 points move on to Saturday and get right into them . For all we have been thinking we have plenty of cover in midfield we don't half look short now with the idea of Jack &Artfield out . Think Aribo is a class player but not sure he offers the cover we need in midfield, plus I think Kent will come in for Hagi . Any opinions on who will be out 3 in midfield.

Think the bears have hit their blip period. Yet to be fair we’re not coinciding in the league and only coincided 5 goals in the league all year. Think Celtic will have loads of possession like Parkhead and will play a high pressing game and I think they will score. However I do think there will be plenty of space in behind and expect us to win. Just to confirm we have played 4 away games and 2 home games and have come away with all 18 points. No a bad December blip. 👍.

Madchelskis if rangers and Celtic were in the championship for example at the minute or better let’s say to start next season, hypothetically speaking, both would blow all other clubs out the water for all commercial revenue and sponsorship deals would be championship records. They would both splash the cash and keep all our best players and both would finish 1st and 2nd in the league and gain promotion. Too big a clubs and too good a squads never mind being able to draw all the extra money from playing down south or tv deals shirt deals stadium naming rights training ground naming rights and so on. Once finding our feet mid table for the 1st year I believe both would gatecrash the top 6 making it a top 8. Hence none of the big hitters want us in England. If we would be so poor then they would welcome us with open arms with the canvass and money we can bring to the table it would be a no brainier for them but they know the risks are that within 10 years one of us would probably have won the league.

Guys we won today, 3 points is all that matters. I get the feeling there's a few jitters with some on here the fact they have won the last few games! We are top of the league, unbeaten and playing at home saturday. We perform how we can and they won't be able to live with us. As someone has previously said, they won't play like st. mirren and i reckon they will come at us as they need to win the game in my opinion. No fears for saturday and we seem to play better the better the opposition so looking forward to the game with confidence.

Yup I think Celtic need to win but to win u 1st need to make sure u don’t lose. I think the 1st half could be quite tight and nervy for both sides. I think they’ll start with Griffiths and edouard up top, tunbull in behind with Christie and mcgregor either side in a type of 4-1-3-2. That’s how they seem to be going atm, going by that our defenders will be busy and need to concentrate. And Davis and kamara could be pushed back a bit with them playing 3 attacking mf and 2 strikers. Personally I’d be happy with a draw as we’re not playing great and they seem to be finding both form and confidence.

Morning KJ, I just feel that Hagi is the only one in our team who has that killer pass in him to open defences, I also think his performances in the last 3 games warrants a start. Kent for me is the enigma as regards Saturday, will he turn up?, or will he show a lack of confidence as he has of late, he's a smashing player, but needs to stop overdoing things in the final third, i. e. shoot sooner when he has created the space. Either way, as long as we don't overrate them, we certainly won't underrate them, let's just do our normal job on Saturday.

The Celtic game might not get played because of C.V., but if it goes ahead Celtic will have their best chance of a result.

Rangers have some of their better players out because of injuries etc and with Kent/ Morelos not in the best of form.

We may not be playing with our strongest team but should still be good enough to get the job done against Celtic.

Think Alfredo will get a shot at Celtic and saving, or rather not ruining his rangers career for good. He will more than likely play. And if he loses it gets sent off or even if he lashes out and gets away with it at 0-0 or 1-1 for example then I think it could be the final nail for him. If he comes through the game with a good performance and no disciplinary issues then gerrard will stick with him till he finds he’s form. It’s make or break time for Alfie, IMO of course. Think roofe Alfie Kent up top aribo/ hagi in behind with davo and kamara. Depends who performs tonight from hagi and aribo who might start. Competition still there even though we have injury issues.

Just woke up to brilliant news regarding the Oxford/ Astra Zeneca vaccine which has just been approved for use in the UK. I know this is not directly Rangers related but I know some of the people on here work in the health sector and with this new variant set to cause havoc, this must be the best news ever for them. Apparently 2 weeks after the first dose immunity kicks in with the second dose after 12 weeks important for long term immunity. And the vaccine only needs to be stored in normal fridges. Roll out starts on the 4th. This is the start of the path to normality and the day when we are able to go back to Ibrox is drawing ever closer. Well done to Oxford/ Astra and all the scientists, staff and volunteers and everybpdy involved in the process, I am so proud of you all👏👏👏❤❤❤💙💙💙🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Although its a 2 dose vaccine! It doesn't need cold storage and is by far the cheaper option, not to mention produced in the UK.

Does anyone know what the injury is with Jack? His last game was back at the end of November against Aberdeen and I don't recall at the time the injury being talked about as long term.

Asking a lot of a player like Davis given his age in terms of matches just hope the players can empty the tank in the next few games and then we have a less hectic schedule in January for a few weeks.
