The reason I said 3 n half games surely you know SG by now. Alfie will be out for close to a month, due to his 2 game league ban and yellow cards in last season's scottish cup, meaning he is out of the cup game with Stranraer. Once he has served his suspensions. SG will not start him cold he will be a sub, hence the half game.

I have seen some highlights, which did not show the refereeing in a good light at all, but that is all I saw and I wouldn't want to judge anything on highlights. It could easily be a director who hates the ref cutting together footage to make him look bad!}

Ok my thoughts on yesterdays game . far superior to a man again against them. shouldve been a lot more. yet again celtic get an illegal goal.

1st time in a long time we've won at parkheed yet the papers are only interested in morelos n kent. imo and this is only my opinion before i'm slated is.
If kents celebration was that bad surely the ref wouldve booked him at the time?
And as for morelos. how anyone can say the hand gestures are death threats is astonishing. the guys english is crap . clearly he's making " its over we've won" gestures. his 1st yellow wasnt a yellow. only downfall was the diving at the end. he shouldve shot 1st time instead of going over.

Ref was a joke yesterday. at least 2 of that mob shouldve been sent off.

Loved gerrard at final whistle. I wouldve been much worse. i'm still bouncing now 🤣🇬🇧

And last but not least

Lennon says his side didn't deserve to get beat. he watch the same game as me? It wouldve been a crime if we didn't win. kilmarnock on boxin day gave us a harder game

Oh dear, oh dear. Yes Ref was shocking but that doesn't come as a surprise given that he's Celtic man. However we outplayed them AGAIN and will go on to win the league. Happy days and Happy New Year to all Rangers supporters and to the Ed's when it comes.

First time new poster, at the beginning of December we would've sold our granny for 2 points behind with a home game in hand considering our fixtures and the mhankies fixtures, also European football secured and outplay them in the cup final which we ultimately lost but these things happen at times, as for yesterday the 2 centre halves and the goalie were outstanding, also special mention to the full backs and Steve Davis too, as for Alfie his first booking was a disgrace but he has to manage himself better from that point, the 2nd yellow was needless and sheer stupidity on his part, however both Christie and bongoboli should've seen red for them without question, anyway here's to 55.

Some of the excuse I have heard from them is embarrassing. Their players are tired, the ref, the atmosphere, its hilarious. We are by far the better team, however they believe they still have the better team and think that there bench would walk into our team, delusional. We need to get a RF in january and pray we keep morelos kamara etc. Katic best CB we have. We need to hit the ground running after the break. They will fold👍.

100 percent coldo. Far superior footballing team. They can't come close to our midfield either, which in the years gone by was one of the main factors in them continually beating us. They can never hold their hands up. It's either an excuse or paranoia, instead of just admitting that the better team won. Long way to go but we look good and shouldn't fear them as they looked lost yesterday. Forrest is still trying to get out of borna's pocket. Prob have to spend new year with him now.

I agree Coldo, we need to just keep doing what were doing, the only important game is the next one and respect all opposition. Celtic will have to have a wee rethink which could go either way and before they know it could be chasing which their not used to, interesting to see if that was the case how their mentality holds up or doesn't.

Just heard Fraser Aird has been sacked for going to watch his beloved Rangers and giving some to the tic support Live on TV. Just looked up their manager and it just happened to be ex tim, sheep and junkie player Paul Harltey. Okay its not the done thing if your a pro footballer however its Cove Rangers not Aberdeen or Hibs. There would have been few lower division players on both sides in that stadium yesterday doing the exact same thing. Sign him back up just for bloody mindedness.

I like the Souness idea to solving the VAR problem with marginal offsides. Change the offside rule and if any part of the attacking player is onside then he's onside. Benefit of the doubt to the attacker level with the defender worked pre VAR. Now to the Morelos dilemma. The moment he gets yellow carded he's subbed for Defoe. I know it may wipe millions off his sell on price but at least we play 90 minutes with 11 players. And just, a big just, he might learn.

Agree on hindsight, bringing Defoe on would have been a good move. But I know speaking for myself I was willing him to finish a great game by scoring. Also his physical play was working, he caused them issues the entire game, Defoe is a great player but I feel we would have lost that at a critical stage in the game. Alfie is what he is, like many great players they have their issues like we all do. But to change his attitude completely changes his style. He knew what he was doing for both cards and rolled the dice, which made it easy for a referee waiting on it. i'm sure he will get wiser in time.

It's in the 95+ min, the game was won, should he have dived? Course not. We kept him on the park because c*ltics new van dyke, ajar and Gillian couldn't handle him. Morelos had a great game yesterday.

Players work tirelessly to get Morelos sent off, the way they surround the ref anytime he looks like committing a foul is laughable, but that’s the best they’ve got and fear the pressure of trying to win fair and square, for every team in the league (all of them) they’re inadvertently paying Morelos and Rangers a huge compliment as they’re admitting that they can’t deal with us and need to resort to dirty tactics, if they put as much effort into their game as they do trying to get our men sent off, they’d probably perform better.

Geddes, you say in hindsight taking Morelos off would have been a good move then the rest of your post is spent explaining exactly why it wouldn't have been a good move. Morelos played a whole 96 minutes and was a thorn in their flesh every single moment he was on that pitch. You cannot start taking players off because they've been booked, it would destroy confidence, make them fearful and generally would quickly lead to a downward spiral in the dressing room.

Morelos is our star player, always a target for the bigots in black. You are right, he will get wiser in time, people forget that for all his accomplishments he is still just 23, a year younger than our fans' current favourite to replace him, Lawrence Shankland, who has achieved exactly nothing.

Still absolutely buzzing from yesterday. Yesterday I posted that I'd take a draw - I was wrong but I'm always apprehensive going to their midden. This time, I don't see us slipping up after the winter break. Good run of home games coming now and they have the tricky away period. That bring me onto a question. Do you think SG will stick with Goldson and Katic as our CB's after the break? Thought both were immense yesterday, particularly Goldson who, imo plays better when Katic is next to him. Or will Helander go back into the team when fit?
