Given the single goal between the teams yesterday, against ten men in extra time, both sides were actually evenly matched considerably and this appears to be our competitive level with this squad. I don't believe anyone can disagree with this its honest.

Believable29 Unbelievable38

Last time i looked queens park were 19points behind us our level give me peace job is to get out division and that seems to be going along just fine be more critical when with a couple of transfer windows behind us we r still poor but by then the young boys will have grown into the famous blue jersey and they will get some better quality to help them

Hullo lads, anyone noticed when ian black gets the ball he trys to be like xavi and do a 30 yard pass? only thing is he gives it to the other team, in my opinion black and sandaza need to go now ASAP

Believable16 Unbelievable30

Don't think xavi has passed a ball thirty yards in his puff. He plays short passes because that way he won't lose the ball. You hit it thirty yards and your chances of completing the pass are greatly reduced.

Agree13 Disagree0

Wayne Rooney can pass a ball pinpoint at just say about 30 yards so could Scholes probably still can. Seen Xavi do it a couple of times thats not the point though i hope Black comes into a game but i dont really know what to expect of him to be honest.

Cant believe rangers let jelavic go for less than 6 million. If hooper is getting valued at 10mil jelavic must be the same if not more!p.s does ally practise ball work in training?it doesnt show on a match day.

Believable25 Unbelievable12

OP - we never let him go, CW sold him and looks like the cash was used to fund the high life in monaco

Yeah but we haven't paid the £1m owed for Jelavic as green agreed to do. And money owed for him is owed to BDO for creditors.

Agree19 Disagree33

We had to sell him very quickly there was a £13.5m tax bill plus 275 other creditors and no money.
Ally had got us bumped from two cups and two euro competitions.

Agree29 Disagree37

Jelevic is nowhere near the same price as Hooper. Hooper is miles better

A whole lot of moaning about the performance yesterday, was i wrong but i thought we won and have a huge lead in the league??

I have watched most games on the net this season from the sunny desert in Abu Dhabi, and to be fair good performances have been hard to come by. But we just won our tenth on the bounce, we have a winning mentality again and that will push us through.

We have not played attractive football for a very long time, just because we are in the 3rd Division did you expect that to change?

We have a good bunch of young lads that are finding there feet, a couple of Scotland internationals, a few journeymen, its not the team that we had over the last few years we all need to deal with that.

But remember even when we had a "good squad" we still played boring hard to watch football, but at the moment its doing the job. And i prefer having 3 points and a win and any fan that would sacrifice that for "attractive" football is a liar.

Ok so Ian Black has so far been poor in a Rangers jersey but let's be honest I thought he would be a terrific player for us and his combative style would suit us in the lower leagues so anyone looking to use blacks signing as an excuse to have a go at McCoists signing policy should think again and I still believe that he will find form for us and serve us well at this level.

I dont think ian black is good enough to find form for us. i keep hearing he was or is an spl player if that was the case he should be proving his worth by now.

Agree8 Disagree19

I didn't see the match but have read a few comments on Black's display and displays past.

Black and Sandaza haven't adjusted to football at Rangers and maybe their injuries and lack of pre season have played a part. Are there no reserve matches for recovering 1st team players to play themselves back into match sharpness ?

Templeton and Sheils have proven to be good McCoist buys. Even the best managers get it wrong often enough. Look at Sir Alex and the Portuguese Bebe for more money than Green paid for Rangers !

I hope McCoist plays his best and in form players and if Black, who's got a Scotland cap to his name recently, isn't up to it, then he's benched at best. He needs to recapture his confidence and form and we have all seen what happens to players at Ibrox when the fans get on their backs. Charlie Adam being one. Mind you, the fans are usually right. Never heard them giving Laudrup or Durrant a hard time. They know the real deal when they see it.

Agree11 Disagree3

The fact that Black never had any other offers, despite being free for weeks told a story for me. he's a poser, watch him when he makes a pass.

Agree7 Disagree13

Templeton and shields they only look good cause there playing plumbers painters ect.Henke7

Agree7 Disagree17

McCoist is a softie. He needs to show strength if character and offload duds, its part of the job, offloading!

Agree4 Disagree10

I don't think black is in the team coz he, s good on the ball. I think he, s in coz he, s a bit of a hatchet man. He only there to do dirty work. He def not good enough as n when we progress thru the leagues

Not a great performance bears but a 10th straight win. feel we can improve in certain areas, thought hegarty and Wallace were poor, both give the ball away too much give Cole a chance at right back, also McKay is a talent, but we're not getting the best out of him by playing him through the middle, play him out wide and let him get more crosses into the box, which we didnt have enough of today, both him and Templeton need to stop cutting in and dig out more crosses. Well done to Aird on his goal GowdyWATP54

Can see another world record most wins in a row, but in div4 of scottish football, hardly a real statistic if against amateur (unpaid) teams, or part-timers ?
