02 Oct 2020 23:42:30
Would just like to say tav had a great game the other night. He has had a great start to the season and long may he prove me wrong. Big enough guy to admit when I'm
Wrong. Hopefully he can keep going at this level.

The group is more than doable btw.

Should take a few off Ross county on Sunday then lose our momentum with this rubbishty international break again. Form
Book goes out the window on OF day anyway. Things are in pretty good shape.

Mon the famous ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธ๐Ÿ”ต.

03 Oct 2020 00:24:43
I had a large post last week saying mostly same thing, he has been excellent,

03 Oct 2020 00:53:15
Yip 12th, get through Sunday unscathed and we can relax and look forward to a great group.

03 Oct 2020 09:24:40
Tomthumb12, need to beat Celtic first.

03 Oct 2020 10:47:13
Yeah he has been great for few games now as has the whole team well played and long may it continue keep turning the screw on the Celtic mob there team is flat and leaks goals its only matter of time till they get punished and wee will be waiting to bury them ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง.

03 Oct 2020 11:55:47
Tav has been very impressive๐Ÿ‘.

03 Oct 2020 13:33:59
Tav's always been a good player ๐Ÿ‘Œ
As the old saying goes form is temporary, class is permanent, some would be advised to remember this when they're absolutely roasting tav on here and making him the whipping boy ๐Ÿค”.

03 Oct 2020 13:37:45
Iโ€™ve been his biggest critic for a few years now but credit where credits due. He done fantastic. Hope it continues. ๐Ÿ‘.

03 Oct 2020 16:14:18
Totally agree tav is playing well and his defending is certainly better.

02 Oct 2020 22:45:30
Looking forward to another good win on Sunday before another boring international break am going for 3-0.

03 Oct 2020 13:23:08
Got my house on Tav to score anytime.

04 Oct 2020 07:02:51
Like yourself KJA9 i fancy us to win 3-0 against ross county on sunday.
We've praised a lot of our players after our terrific win against galatasaray and rightly so, but i would like to add praise to filip helander, who i think gets overlooked at times, when dishing out praise. He for me has been a rock at the back,
giving our team the perfect balance as he's a left footed centre half ๐Ÿ‘
Helander for me, is an old school, no nonsense centre half and is a blood and guts proper defender! What filip lacks in pace, he more than makes up with his tremendous awareness, superb positional sense and stands up to strikers 'till the last minute. Some of his tough/ rugged tackling and last ditch blocks have been superb since he came back into our team๐Ÿ‘Œ
He's showing what a good centre half he is, now hopefully he's over his injuries and maintains this extended run in the rangers team! Helander has played in the italian league for 2 clubs, verona and bologna and that says a lot to me. Serie A as everyone knows has always had class defenders playing within it, as they pride themselves in the art of defending,
which has always been the case in italy. You have to be regarded and deemed a good centre half, to be brought into the italian league and helander is and now proving a rock for us at the back with goldson. I truly now think we're all witnessing the best no nonsense type of defender at ibrox, who defends first and foremost and can also actually play out with his cultured left peg๐Ÿ‘ŒWith his positional sense and reading of the game, i said to 2 of my mates yesterday that helander's style reminds me of our very own legend davie weir and filip's fellow swede johan mjallby, as both were terrific no nonsense defenders who also weren't blessed with pace ๐Ÿ‘
Whats everyone's thoughts on this? ๐Ÿค”.

02 Oct 2020 22:37:36
What did everyone make of the group draws then

It's a tough group for both of us I think
but I think we will get through

Can't say the same for the other mob though ๐Ÿ˜‚

What ever happens it will be great to watch
Some great games coming up ๐Ÿ˜Š.

03 Oct 2020 00:27:54
I just said that to a mate stig with no crowds you need attractive games and I think both groups are attractive enough, a polish boy who works for me has just said it will be very hard for poznan against Rangers, so i'm happy about that, another thing I was very surprised to learn that Rangers have never played Benfica nor poznan, and havnt played liege since the 60s or something,

03 Oct 2020 07:37:37
Benfica just loaned one of ther top strikers to Spurs with an option to buy. Guys worth 30 odd million. Need to have a wee lol at ther team again. Used to watch them on free sports or even just the league games on a Sunday. Weโ€™ve beat what Portugalโ€™s has to offer this far. Nae reason why Benfica canโ€™t be the same ๐Ÿ‘ that league is more than doable for us. Take max points at home and pick up what we can away.

03 Oct 2020 11:57:58
I think this is our easiest group of the 3 years, of course benfica will be the toughest game but I think we can qualify at least in 2nd spot. ๐Ÿ‘.

03 Oct 2020 12:30:38
The 3 away games will be a test, but if we could get 3 points it wouldn't be bad. Gerrard loves the European nights and seems to know what he's doing, I think 11 points is doable and enough to see us through.
Pozna away will be hardest game, Imo.
Hands-Face-Space.

02 Oct 2020 22:24:18
How come Killie game is off when they have six C.V. cases, but a couple of weeks ago, a game went ahead when they didn't have any goalies. Guys running Scottish football at a fekn joke. 5-0 Sunday v county. Celtic 1-1 draw.

03 Oct 2020 00:19:59
The full Killie team have been ordered to self isolate for 2 weeks so they have no team nothing to do with sfa.

03 Oct 2020 00:28:42
its a conspiracy, but let's hope you havnt got them results the wrong way round mate.

02 Oct 2020 20:35:17
Alfie has turned into more of a team player I think he links up better and isn't as greedy as he was.

02 Oct 2020 20:57:25
Looks as if he has been given a different role dragging defenders out to create space.

Not so many goals for him but gives us a different dimension when teams sit in.

02 Oct 2020 21:03:31
Thats exactly what Roberto Firmino does. Its a selfless position to play but works brilliantly if youve got the right players taking advantage of the space.

02 Oct 2020 22:05:47
I love Alfredo but are you seriously telling me that you missed the ridiculous near post shots that never even got near the target last night.

02 Oct 2020 22:27:57
To be honest Iโ€™m just happy that the entire squad look happy playing for each other more than ever now I think past few games
And even Alfie looks happy and now actually may be staying with us This season
Weโ€™re definitely got a stronger squad now and everyone is playing well
as Iโ€™ve already said I have put some posts that go against what I just said here but thatโ€™s under the Red mist and rage when we lose needless points
Rage = ITS AlLOWED! ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜.

02 Oct 2020 23:15:41
That's nowhere near good enough, to cover up his lack of goals with him dancing around bumping into people. Very mediocre unfortunately, rotten excuses. Itten looks more promising.

03 Oct 2020 10:08:52
Blue beginning to think you have a vendetta. Even Ally said the whole team is stronger with Alfie in it. You are indeed the one full of rotten excuses.

03 Oct 2020 15:55:30
Oh dear.

02 Oct 2020 20:33:40
Our passing game is good I just wish we had a guy like big Albertz who shoots on site and 80% go in.

02 Oct 2020 21:09:53
If 80% went in he would be worth about 300m and not in Scotland.

02 Oct 2020 22:30:11
Got too agree loved Albertz

Even more so when he started to sound more and more Scottish (AYE) ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

What a player and character and WHAT a shot on him.

02 Oct 2020 22:43:15
80% go in ๐Ÿ™ˆ no one has ever had that good a record in the history of football.

03 Oct 2020 00:43:57
I did kj, I had 10 free kicks and scored 8, over 20 years, fan tactico,

03 Oct 2020 08:58:29
Tom did you play in same team as coop ๐Ÿคฃ.

03 Oct 2020 10:12:35
Lets be honest, its always easier to look back and remember the good and forget the bad. Big George i loved but he could be the laziest git out there too. i am not trying to be negative here but the best player i saw for return was big Negri, shame it went the way it did. he goal scored ratio v shots on target must have been one of the highest we ever experienced at Ibrox.

03 Oct 2020 13:29:10
Albertz lazy? That's the biggest pile of garbage I have ever read๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 20:32:16
Or stephanie powers.

02 Oct 2020 20:27:54
Benfica manager said "OH NO, not the famous I was wanting to avoid them lol.

02 Oct 2020 17:59:15
Can anybody help me out with this? Media keeps reporting rangers and celtic will earn 10 mill each from europa? Not sure where they are plucking them figures from? Unless we make later stages be lucky to earn 6 or 7 mill.

02 Oct 2020 18:34:14
Awe naw were doomed in this group hugh keevins has just predicted well win the group he's the worsest jinx iv ever heard of omg.

02 Oct 2020 18:34:54
Wouldn't think so, unless UEFA have upped the prize money to accommodate for the lack of fans?

02 Oct 2020 19:09:50
Has any1 noticed that smeltic always try and convince themselves that ther some outfit they believe every word lennon says ther so gullible man.

02 Oct 2020 20:03:44
Paul86 I just read 8.2 million euros and that's if you win all your group games 500k for home win 115k for draw so no I think 10million bit over the top figures.

02 Oct 2020 20:04:49
According to uefa we have earned ยฃ4.3m earned so far. Not including win bonuses, and prize money for finishing 1st or 2nd.

02 Oct 2020 21:15:20
Dsrangers, are you for real, you had Rangers out after 5 minutes against Willem, then gave us no chance yesterday, fm, bizarre.

02 Oct 2020 16:48:02
Great performance and result last night and the draw today not too bad on us and something to optimistically look forward to after the Celtic game. Time now to fully focus on Sunday and Ross County. Great to sign off with emphatic victory.

02 Oct 2020 21:16:54
its a great draw because every game is attractive, and with having a couple of polish drivers working for me i'm looking forward to having them over the house for the poznan game, I hope anyway.

02 Oct 2020 15:19:10
For all those interested, Infant kits are now available in the Rangers Store. 2-3 and 3 - 4.
I've bought the 3-4 size for Coldo! ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜‚.

02 Oct 2020 15:38:26
I bet you've got posters of me under your stairs๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 16:23:31
Cheers for heads up MPH.

02 Oct 2020 16:23:59
He wonโ€™t be the only one, great result last night lads, Iโ€™ve never ever wanted that mob to win a game of dominoes but I was actually happy they had gone through marginally because it makes life far far more even and what made me happy is that they went through by one goal, twice, theyโ€™ll be screaming for signings again now and my only concern is they will spend another wad very shortly, but I do think Rangers are a better team and with the tactics stevie used in the couple of games we tore them apart then Iโ€™m confident while cautious, but tactics need altering and I canโ€™t help thinking boys like Greg doc were made for Livingston and Hamilton typ Game, and I still think the guy power from killie is a good squad type, but only my opinion,

02 Oct 2020 16:38:07
Don't worry potatoHead he'll grow into them ๐Ÿ‘Œ.

02 Oct 2020 16:55:29
I'll hand them down to you when I'm finished with them brexit๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 17:13:24
Tom. Greg doc and co obviously werenโ€™t good enough I believe one or two more players in better than above will be sufficient. My opinion. ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 17:34:46
Alan Power? A 32 year old whoโ€™s top career achievement is to have played for Kilmarnock for a few seasons? You think thatโ€™s the kind of player who will help improve our squad and take us on to winning the league and getting through in the Europa league? Wow! Would love to see how heโ€™d fair against Benfica๐Ÿค”. Not sure if maybe youโ€™re having a bit of a joke there but if not then no thanks.

02 Oct 2020 18:05:28
Power ooooooo myyyyy dayyyyys hahahahahahahah. I would think were slightly above that level ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

02 Oct 2020 18:38:13
I think there's a "Power" of wind up merchants on the go tonight!

02 Oct 2020 19:00:16
We would be better aff with Peter Powers!

02 Oct 2020 20:46:07
That twice in a week you've said power, oh dear ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ.

02 Oct 2020 21:15:33
Mankies wonโ€™t spend a wad, they are trying to offload as they are struggling financially, look at all their leeks to press. Burnley for Christie, Ajer to Milan, Nitcham to Southampton. all tripe.

02 Oct 2020 21:28:35
55, you can count good son, is there a rule about saying something twice in a week ? Far as I'm aware Power is playing in the same division as alfie morelos and Ryan Kent, , and has outplayed Rangers midfielder in quite a few games, the arrogance of some Rangers "fans" has been highlighted and ridiculed by other clubs for many years, you sheep have just shown exactly why, maybe a grown up will tell you about Rangers only a few years ago, now you clowns are laughing at the thought of a 32 Yr old, sadly your the type the rest of the country laugh at, it was a suggestion about a tough tackling guy which Rangers need for certain fixtures, a suggestion that has been said a few times by professional people,

02 Oct 2020 21:40:24
Gers man, did you need to have a massive rant about the guy, I said its only my opinion, you have a problem with me having an opinion mate? , did you see somewhere in my post that said he would win the europ league, my post said I thought he was the ideal squad man for places like Easter Rd and livingston, places incidentally that Rangers current midfielders couldn't win at, pathetic arrogance is shocking.

02 Oct 2020 22:05:17
In my opinion Powers in not good enough for Rangers, I have heard he is a massive Celtic fan, and anyway he only gets stuck in against Rangers he doesn't seem to do as well against other teams in the league.

02 Oct 2020 22:12:55
Tam it is quite funny, Alan power for rangers! I'd rather tell ian black to fling away his paint brush and look out his boots! Joking aside respect you're opinion tam.

03 Oct 2020 01:05:40
So you remember Ian black then mate.

02 Oct 2020 15:01:26
I think we now have the makings of our best team since Advocaat. Genuine quality throughout the first eleven and for the first time since SG came, some real options to change it.

Goes without saying we can still improve, and an aggressive midfielder will be a worthwhile addition. Only area I can see us falling short is up front. Morelos as first choice is both good and terrible in equal measure and last night he was atrocious. I know it's hard to get better for our budget but we are a Jelavic away from being a brilliant team. Hopefully Itten and Roofe can prove to be as good as we all hope.

Final mention to Tav and Goldson. Neither are perfect, which is why they are playing in Scotland, but they are both brilliant for us and any doubters are simply impossible to please.

02 Oct 2020 16:02:20
I have been thinking about this recently as well, I think the football we have been playing this season reminds me of Advocaat's side. Morelos looks no where near a ยฃ20 million player. I'm hoping he can rekindle his form from the start of last season on current form his value will depreciate over time. I agree though a top class striker on board or morelos on form again and we will be formidable.

02 Oct 2020 16:21:47
I honestly don't know how morelos was seen as been playing bad lastnight, he worked his behind off and done a lot of dirty work, sure i'd have loved to have seen a few if his efforts RIP the net off but it happens, I think Stevie G is trying too hard to replicate Liverpools system though, for me he had morelos playing a firmino role for the past few games and it's showing with his lack of goals.

02 Oct 2020 16:35:25
The thing is dad, he ran around and was a thorn in the side, but his almost total lack of ball control and incredible lack of awareness is scary at times, lashing at shots from ridiculous angles and heading great chances straight into the keeper hands, or usually into the ground is not what clubs want to pay 20m for, on the other hand heโ€™s strong and is a handful to play against I would imagine, unless something has been agreed, which is a distinct possibility then he may well be here so I hope he starts scoring in Scotland again soon.

02 Oct 2020 16:41:10
Need to win things 1st before suggesting this team is better than Ecks treble winning teams and walters uefa Cup final team which win 3 in a row aswell. I find this ridiculous to suggest this.

02 Oct 2020 17:32:33
That's true sweep1, we need to add trophies to the undoubted talent.

02 Oct 2020 17:43:23
He was atrocious last night, that's why nobody is really committed to trying to sign him. No pace, dreadful touch, rancid shooting.

02 Oct 2020 19:07:16
bluewoulddo, he is dreadful all the time according to you. he was not dreadful, a few nice layoffs, tormenting defenders, pulling them out of position to allow Hagi in behind. You have no idea and watch the ball rather than the player. i understand that the tv cameras follow the ball so one thing i agree with they are as tunnelled visioned as you.

02 Oct 2020 19:40:37
Oh dear.

02 Oct 2020 22:14:37
Morelos hold up play was poor last night.

02 Oct 2020 14:40:54
Anyone know much about this guy from Everton mo besic we are supposed to be getting on loan.

02 Oct 2020 15:40:45
Also hearing stories doing the rounds that gerrard is interested in motherwell midfielder allan campbell ๐Ÿค”.

02 Oct 2020 16:29:58
He has never been a regular starter over the past 4 years or so. Has been out on loan at Sheff. Utd. but didn't play often for them either. He's seen more as defensive midfielder and I know my son in law who's an Everton ian always used to groan every time he was picked in what has been a very average Everton side till Ancelotti took over. On the upside he does have very recent EPL experience and 40 odd caps for Bosnia (I think) so the SPFL shouldn't phase him. Everton are letting him go at the end of the season so shouldn't cost too much. Don't believe if he signs he should be a first choice, current midfield is as good or better than him so would be a squad player. Is he what we need-probably not but if he joins then he deserves a chance like all the others who join us.

02 Oct 2020 16:37:16
Iโ€™m not going to repeat this again but I think Alan power at killie is a very strong tackling midfielder we need for certain league games.

02 Oct 2020 16:51:15
Hope he doesn't end up like Andy King.

02 Oct 2020 16:52:19
Strange then that Greg docherty is allowed to leave even after a great season in the same Scottish premier league that weโ€™re trying to win, canโ€™t help thinking that is a mistake,

02 Oct 2020 17:03:25
Aye you can team Alan Power up with Patrick Roberts! ๐Ÿ˜‚
Let's just buy players ( even though we have to spend widely ) to play in a couple of games per season! Jesus wept. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ.

02 Oct 2020 17:17:47
Alan Power ๐Ÿคญomg no thanks.

02 Oct 2020 22:17:18
God now involved, fm, have Rangers never signed any older players then? What about players from Kilmarnock? That never happened either? Rangers fans arrogance, shocking.

02 Oct 2020 13:51:33
Well now we have qualified how many players will we sign and whom?

02 Oct 2020 14:46:44
Think we will sign 1 more.

02 Oct 2020 15:27:46
I think we'll sign at least 2 more,
possibly 3!

02 Oct 2020 13:34:05
Steven Gerrard's record as rangers manager in europe is stunning ๐Ÿ‘Œ to say the least.
When he wins his first trophy ๐Ÿ† as rangers manager he'll go on to win a sackful, i've got no doubt whatsoever.

02 Oct 2020 13:58:09
First trophy was the viola cup coop๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 15:01:49
Correct SGL๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 16:54:17
If, and itโ€™s a massive if, heโ€™s still here after winning a trophy? Letโ€™s just hope that he wins the league, then he can build a castle on paisley rd west if he wants.

02 Oct 2020 13:30:05
Think the group is definitely winnable. After our performance against Portuguese opponents last season we wonโ€™t be afraid of Benfica. Treat every team with respect and perform the way we did last night and we could very well top the group.

02 Oct 2020 14:44:49
Major dissapointment if we don't get out that group. Easier than last seasons.

02 Oct 2020 14:58:13
Cracking ties, all 4 are good footballing teams, not much between us all, looking forward to it. Coldo, I think you're a little bit off the mark assuming we will automatically qualify from that group, I'm extremely hopeful though.

02 Oct 2020 15:21:44
I would heavily fancy us to finish 2nd would you not Irvger? ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 15:37:21
Beat Warsaw who are better than Poznan, beat Porto who are better than Benfica and Liege were 5th in Belgium so would seem an easier draw than last season. Got to respect every match in Europe, all solid clubs. Quietly confident.

02 Oct 2020 16:55:08
None will have wanted Rangers.

02 Oct 2020 18:02:00
Benfica have made some amazing signings this season and I think they will be better defensively than Porto were. Liege and Poznaล„ should be wins without a doubt though.

02 Oct 2020 23:44:11
Agree Coldo, we will come out of the group, would be nice to win it, as it would give us a better draw in the next round.

02 Oct 2020 12:55:30
Alright fellow Bears first time poster. Just posting to say think we got a decent draw and coming second in our group if not first should be a reasonable shout. any thoughts.

02 Oct 2020 14:58:59
I agree totally Islay, welcome to the madhouse.

02 Oct 2020 13:23:47
Doesn't look to bad a draw on paper.

02 Oct 2020 13:18:47
No Rumour on this guys, but how about knockeart for an addition? I think this could be the type we need. Thots?

02 Oct 2020 13:49:50
Who's knockeart?

02 Oct 2020 14:22:15
Def the type mate but no way we could afford him.
Top level championship low level premier is out our process range unfortunately.

02 Oct 2020 14:46:13
Only just signed for fulham last month for 10mill.

02 Oct 2020 13:16:28
Bring on BENFICA love it.

02 Oct 2020 12:45:31
Europa league

Easy group

Rangers
Poznan
Standard lg
Benfica

The dhims got Lille and ac milan.

02 Oct 2020 13:50:53
Rfc98 nothing is easy One game at a time ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 15:08:12
Some people getting ahead of themselves!

02 Oct 2020 12:44:03
Winnable group happy with that won't be easy but we are good agaibsr Portuguese teams so benfica won't scare us. Don't know much about other two teams.

02 Oct 2020 15:01:02
Are Poznan not a Polish team, if so they will be tough opponents.

02 Oct 2020 12:43:47
Decent group, should get through that๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 13:52:58
Hopefully coldo ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 15:09:27
Rather positive from a poster who loses the plot after drawing with Livi! ๐Ÿค”.

02 Oct 2020 15:24:23
We just have different standards in life, I'd prefer mine๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 12:43:36
Great group to get should take top sopt in this one.

02 Oct 2020 12:42:23
I'm actually really quite confident of progression looking at our draw. Only team. i'd think we might have trouble with are benfica but after last night's performance I wouldn't fear them too much. We have been the successful Scottish team in European stage the last couple years and looking at thendarks sides draw I think we will be again this year.

02 Oct 2020 12:41:50
Great group i see us finishing top . tims got it tough lol.

02 Oct 2020 12:41:13
Benfica
Standard Liege
Poznan

Iโ€™d take that ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง.

02 Oct 2020 11:42:40
spurs/ gunners, leicester and dundalk. cut travel expenses and time away.

02 Oct 2020 10:03:03
One slight negative from last night, and it's only a slight negative that I thought I would share, does anyone else think Goldson 1st half was a bomb scare and could it be down to complacency with him seemingly being undroppable? just an observation.

02 Oct 2020 10:25:57
Helander is out best CH. he's 1st choice imo i know the gaffer can't see passed goldson tho.

02 Oct 2020 10:31:43
Goldson is a nightmare when under pressure. ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 10:38:39
Helanders timing in the tackle is outstanding. He reads the game really well and also knows his own limitations. Goldson is one that I've always worried about. This season so far I've been more impressed with his defending but on the ball my heart is in my mouth.

02 Oct 2020 10:42:53
Both central defenders were solid last night and were all over their forward line.

02 Oct 2020 11:22:39
Bonkers comment!
Goldson was absolutely solid. Ok, he had a couple of small errors (who doesnt) but nothing that was close to costing a goal.
Any comment on all of the things he did well?

02 Oct 2020 11:26:11
We'll be ok once the best CH we ever have, Katic, will be back to full fitness ๐Ÿคญ ( copyright Coldo ) . ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘€.

02 Oct 2020 11:28:21
Guys goldson is a decent player, won a shed load of headers last night. Capable of a mistake like most centre backs. we have always had players capable of mistakes, bougherra, amoroso are god like to fans that seen them play but they were bombscares regularly itโ€™s just that they were capable of brilliance.

02 Oct 2020 13:44:17
Katic is class๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 14:06:35
I have never rated Goldson, But this year he has had some good games doing his Job defending, Long may it continue ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ˜Žโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 14:19:13
Said it just before game finished last night tav n goldson where superb last night, goldson had Falcao in his bk pocket.

02 Oct 2020 14:20:00
As did big filip.

02 Oct 2020 14:27:13
Not a bonkers comment DK19 and there was a positive comment in that I said i have been impressed with his defending.

02 Oct 2020 09:21:22
Falcao missed his flight home last night as he was stuck in big fils pocket ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธ๐Ÿ”ต.

02 Oct 2020 09:12:55
Great performance and result last night, been critical in the past of our captain but hats off last night you had a great game, well done jimmy tav ๐Ÿ‘. Keep it up ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 09:54:13
Me too, tav has really upped his game. Helander was also outstanding.
Every player worked very hard.

02 Oct 2020 10:04:30
Feeling good to be a bear this morning. Well done to Stevie Gerrard. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were a laughing stock in Europe with the likes of Gary Lineker delightedly tweeting about how we had just been knocked out by the fourth best team in Luxembourg.

Changed days!

02 Oct 2020 13:33:36
I've always loved tav going forward, but have at times criticised his concentration levels and mistakes in big games. 100% improved this season and now at 28 looks like a player coming into the prime of his career. he's been absolutely terrific this season.

02 Oct 2020 08:41:58
Morning folks.
Hope we are all well nlookong forward to the draw.
Now I have a question. i for one have been critical of Jordan Jones, however with his resurgence, do we maybe use him as our "new" right winger and maybe use the funds to bump up the calibre of CM we require?
( i say this as the consensus has been we needed an out n out right winger and a CM) .

02 Oct 2020 08:50:25
I'd be happy with hagi in europe and jones in the spl, based on recent performances, however if we have the chance to get that quality player then why not. What we need is another arfield, we have no other mids that play almost as a 2nd striker with the runs arfield makes. What a difference he has made to our game. We were desperately needing more support through the middle for our ST and arfield is doing just that. ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 09:12:42
I think gerrard wants both but it may depend on whether Alfie moves on or not, think he will make do with a cm now we have qualified, if Alfie goes funds will be available, if he doesnโ€™t we may go for loan or two. Jones is the best of what we currently have right sided winger wise there is no doubt in that, hagi is different style and equally as good in a different way.

02 Oct 2020 09:15:31
I was actually just thinking this Kri55 and was about to post something similar. For me I would say that rotating between jones and Hagi on the right should be sufficient and competent enough to compete domestically and in Europe barring any injuries. Having said that hindsight is a wonderful thing and whether they produce the goods twice a week remains to be seen but the early signs are that theyโ€™re capable. We are all crying out for a box to box mid but our midfield last night looked outstanding and that was without jack and Aribo and Arfield in the form that heโ€™s in looks every bit a box to box midfielder helping out defensively and making those supporting runs into attack.
Do we actually need any new right winger or box to box? I would say that in the form we are in just now for me the answer would be no. Although should anyone get injured or one of the players hit a dip in form then it would be good to have options.
To answer your question though if I had to pick between a rw or b2b Iโ€™d go for the midfielder.

02 Oct 2020 09:44:00
hagi gets space in europe. jones was getting kicked around and was going on an effort shift until goal which lifted him. close physical game is one thing. consistent competent refereeing is another challenge as sg has pointed out. get the player for that.

02 Oct 2020 10:08:59
I agree with much of Broxi Bear's comments. Jones is a good player and deserves a chance. We have 5 great midfielders and can only play 3 and I don't see the need for another and most certainly not Zungu who's not as good as the 5 we have. Worst case scenario you could say yeah but what if 3 get injured. Well in that case our management needs reminding of our youth and development squads. There must be midfield talent there.

02 Oct 2020 10:22:35
Im in no doubts that we will actively be trying for a midfielder first n foremost. Hagi needs moved inside for us to get the best of him. His small killer passes are evident in both domestic and European football. We have Jones who is more than capable domestically and could improve further in Europe. He is a full international let's not forget. Its good that we have these issues n options. let's hope we kick on going forward n finally get that league trophy come may.
We do need to realise tho, we will have dips on the way there so hopefully we don't over react like not as if we are guilty of that as fan base eh ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

02 Oct 2020 08:26:38
Brilliant result.
Through to the group stages for the 3rd year running under Gerrard.
Tactics spot on again by Gerrard.
Captain Tav starts and finishes the move for his goal.
Still top of the league domestically and unbeaten.
Onwards and upwards.

02 Oct 2020 08:55:19
Arfield playing almost as a 2nd ST with the runs he makes is exactly the support through the middle our ST has been desperately needing and what our attacking play has been lacking. The fact that we are playing more direct with kamara davis and arfield is no coincedance. ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 08:57:14
Careful mate that's a bit too positive a post ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

02 Oct 2020 12:04:35
Coldo do you mean almost like a 442 ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 13:46:49
Call it what you like but arfield playing like a 2nd striker and us being more direct is exactly what we have been missing๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 15:20:03
I personally thought he played like an attacking mid the same roll Roofe takes up when two strikers are played! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 17:04:18
Att mid 2nd st๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ, point being we had support through the middle for our lone st which we have been missing, and we are seeing the benefits. Being direct is also working. Haven't missed jack or aribo๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 08:15:54
Does anyone know if we can buy virtual tickets for the europa league matches? Or are we loosing out on ticket revenue altogether?

Surely uefa would allow clubs to stream the games to get some cash in!

02 Oct 2020 08:23:13
Do you uefa not have a tv deal with BT sport to show the games and if so would that not have an impact on what you suggest Jason? ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 08:33:27
I'm not sure if they would because BT obviously wouldn't want that happening as they've paid millions to be the broadcaster.

02 Oct 2020 07:37:46
Looking forward to the draw later today.
I would quite fancy getting drawn with spurs and see how the gaffer gets on against the special one.
A nice wee battle of Britain would be great.
Fingers crossed๐Ÿคž.

02 Oct 2020 08:13:06
We'll take anybody 3 cheers, but, I'd prefer to miss Spurs and meet them later in the competition.

02 Oct 2020 08:25:48
A favourable draw would be great, don't think being the whipping boys would do our confidence any good particularly when we are trying to maintain consistency which is obviously so important this year๐Ÿ‘.

02 Oct 2020 08:52:44
Will take anybody. Just glad of the extra 4mill euros earned do far.

02 Oct 2020 09:29:16
Tottenham would have too much for us but we'd give them a good go. Certainly wouldn't be whipping boys.

02 Oct 2020 11:43:08
We haven't been whipping boys yet๐Ÿค”
As long as we play a rigid 4-4-2 to stifle the attacking teams we will be fine. ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘€.

02 Oct 2020 17:06:12
2 up top through the middle is working a treat, arfield playing almost as a second st is making a huge difference๐Ÿ‘.
