Right guys with the new signings on hand and hopefully a few more what about this roughly:

Bell

Foster Berra Pandza Wallace

Little Macleod Law Templeton

Clarke Daly

Subs: New keeper, smith, perry, black, shiels, mckay, peralta and so on.
WATP

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I always find this funny, people putting players who probably won't sign in their teamsheets

Agree0 Disagree0

We do not need a new sub keeper for division2!

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who believes mculloch won't be in the team next year is dilluded.

He is the club captain and the guy with the biggest desire for rangers to do well on the pitch.

he WILL play every game this year, if fit.

Agree0 Disagree0

L would expect mcculloch to be in the starting eleven possibly alongside Law in midfield depending on what centre backs we sign.
Midfield Macleod McCulloch Law Templeton.
Front two Daly Clark/or Little.
Hopefully nobody bids for Wallace in. the Transfer window but Smith can over the L. B position.
It all depends if we sign anyone to cover CB but it's a priority.

If we need to sell players or free players then the likes of cribari faure perry agrigou (spelling) have to be shipped out. Would love the Bosnian although Havant seen him play but 22 caps tells u he's better than what's there surely, and Berra would be great signing.

Loads of options for first 11

Bell
Foster. Padza. Berra. Smith

Temp. Black. Parelta. Wallace

Mcculloch daly

Hegarty
Cole
Shiels
Clark
Mckay
Aird
Hutton
Clark
Little
.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why on earth would you have blank infront of Macleod? Did you not watch last season, black was useless and Macleod was a shining light.

Agree0 Disagree0

So the guy who scored all those goals in this division you don't play? Clever.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where is McLeod arguably one of our best performers last season

Agree0 Disagree0

Have u fallen out with Law?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there 2 ranger's because I thought nicky law played for us too as does macleod

Agree0 Disagree0

Black in the team and nicky law not even on the bench did u watch any football last year law was a great player and black was below average

Agree0 Disagree0

That could possibly be the worst Rangers team I've ever seen!

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you know something no one else knows - the 2 centre backs are only paper talk - doubt if Berra would sign for £5000 as he is probably on a good bit more down south

Agree0 Disagree0

Bell

Foster Berra/pandza mculloch Wallace

Shiels law McLeod templeton

Daly little/Clark

Agree0 Disagree0

The 2 centre halves in your team haven't signed so why list them in the options?

Agree0 Disagree0

@2. come on be fair, he's maybe not giving clark a game. but he has put him on the bench twice. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe the second Clark is Sandy?

Does anybody know if we'll be putting forward a team for the Scottish Under 20s League this season?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Better ask Jukebox now that another 'jobs for the boys' position has been filled.

Mather wants two more players, and needs to move a few I think we should move
Black, Perry, Hutton, Naismith, Cribari, Crawford, Faure and Argyriou should all be sold/loaned which we can.
Buy Pandza and another defender

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And who would want them? Their wages will also frighten a lot of clubs. Great work again by Ally.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hutton black and Crawford should all stay, yes not great last year will improve.
The rest I agree s

Agree0 Disagree0

He said a few not half of the team

Agree0 Disagree0

Why does everyone keep downing black. give the guy a break at least he came to the club from an spl side when all the so called dyed in the wool badge kissers done a runner when the club needed them. cut the guy some slack it was a team of 11 players not just black.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know most keep saying Hutton should go, but for me I think we should keep him. When he played with black in the middle he was poor but when he and McLeod played together they seemed to click. Hutton does the nasty stuff well, he harries and annoys the midfield and helps break their attack. Yes he's not a silky midfield dynamo but he does have attributes to offer.

Agree0 Disagree0

#1. Mccoist has no say in what players are paid

Agree0 Disagree0

@6/ don't be so stupid. managers and CEO's decide between them on how badly the boss wants the player. This dictates the wage.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone heard of this Bosnia defender Boris Pandaza the newspapers are saying we are signing?
Yan999

Believable0 Unbelievable0

02 Jul 2013 17:36:43
Pandaza is only coming over for a trial and to have a look at the place and for ally to get a closer look at him and his fitness as he was out a lot last year due to injures, might sign if it dosent harm is international career and only if we can get rid of some player especially the johnny foreigners at the back

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jul 2013 19:07:01
whose actually scouting for us at the moment or are relying on the likes of sasa Papic to tip us the wink about promising players?

Agree0 Disagree0

No. But I like the way everyone is jumping up and down about him signing and how great he'll be. He may be mince. Everyone got excited about cribari because he played champs league. He wasn't a bit interested in playing div 3. Or prob div 2, 1 or SPL for that matter! Just a drain on resources. Let's not get too excited. If he is any good he'll play championship.

David Wotherspoon signs for St. Johnstone.

Would have been a good signing if you ask me. Can play right back or right midfield.

Has anybody seen the Herald yesterday? We will have a squad of 30 + for the 3rd teir of Scottish football. Who the hell is paying for all this? Why are we not seeing the accounts? If you believe the rumours we are heading for deep financial trouble. And all I read about on this site is who we are signing next? We are sleepwalking into the abyss and this time there will be no way out!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just to put something 'out there', would it be the worst thing in the world if club were to go into administration again? Not 100% sure of the proceedings, but perhaps a proper clear out could happen. Maybe, just maybe, some people- Rangers minded- would welcome it, you just never know.

p. s

Before anyone starts mouthing off, I am not actively endorsing this, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

And you know this for a fact do you m8? how do you know Rangers financial position? has it not occured to you that Rangers are run by businessmen? who may actually be quite happy with the position? every day there's someone else on her screaming, we, re all doomed ffs give it a rest,

Agree0 Disagree0

Until audited accounts are produced it's guess work mate. Why the delay? It seems like there may be something to hide in them.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jul 2013 13:25:44
@2: heard it all before when Murray then Whyte were running the club. Is it not ok if fans have questions about sustainability? Or should they just blindly trust it'll be ok this time?

Agree0 Disagree0

2) "has it not occured to you that Rangers are run by businessmen?"

Oh well, that's convinced me. After all, businessmen can always be relied upon to make the right decisions like Craig Whyte and David '800,000m in debt' Murray have shown.

Seriously you don't even wonder what has happened to the 14m that has disappeared off the IPO money?

No wonder so many spivs are attracted to Ibrox knowing so that many fans refuse to question anything going on at the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/ Rangers were run by 'businessmen' when they hit the rocks as well. Get it straight, Green and Ahmad still have their sticky fingers in the pie. Have you seen the amount of companies Green set up covering all income streams? Another admin would not bother him in the slightest. He has made his cash, it's all gravy now. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Agree0 Disagree0

There isn't any delay in the accounts. The financial year end is 30th June (as per club website) and I believe stock exchange rules require that audited accounts should be published within 3 months. Accounts will therefore be published before end of September.

Agree0 Disagree0

@7. the accounts were due end of april sfa rules. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

@8. The rules also state that if a full set of annual accounts is not available then a set of interim accounts should be submitted. A set of interim accounts were produced to 31/12/2012 and published on stock exchange. I can't say for certain that these were sent to SFA/SFL but if its in public domain anyway there is nothing to hide. Have SFA/SFL said they haven't received these?

Agree0 Disagree0

@8 shammy this has been done to death you know exactly the rules for accounts and there is no delay.
So go back to your own site and explain to your fellow green and grey followers there is no bear baiting as you refer to it tonight. PB

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jul 2013 21:34:31
@9 Has anyone asked them directly?

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 11. No idea if anyone has asked. Why don't you ask but hey go the full hog and ask if all 42 clubs have submitted theirs.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 Rangers finances. At the end of December last year Rangers accounts confirmed a £5 million loss. This included 35,000 season ticket sales income. RFC went on to sell a further 3, 500 season tickets so you would have to conclude the loss is now much greater than £5 million. Depending on what pay off the Romanian actually received for leaving it was equal to the income RFC receives from between 1, 423 and 1, 667 season tickets at £300 each. The maths quite simply do not add up and to simply place your head in the sands and say problem what problem is exactly the attitude that allowed Murray and more particularly Whyte to get us into the near fatal mess of last year. Craig Mather's statement that players need to be moved on is long overdue. Ally McCoist want's the best possible team which is understandable but the sums do not add up without many of the names already mentioned being moved on but who will have them? Looks like more pay offs= more season ticket incomes being used to reduce the ever increasing wage bill which is probably not the best use of your main income stream. Unless the new sponsorship deals are really sweet there is no surprise that the £22million received from the share issue in now a lot less. Will Rangers survive- yes but we do need a lottery win or a manager who can work to a strict budget.

I read with dismay that another jobs for the boys appointment may be on the cards with Jukebox Durie in line for a coaching role. What's wrong with thinking outside the box (no pun intended) and bringing in somebody who has a proven track record of bringing on youngsters.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Big pal of Ally's as well. At the minimum another £30-4ok per year while people lose their jobs. Disgraceful.

Agree0 Disagree0

Much as I like the guy I really don't think we need him at this level of Scottish football. Sorry Jukebox.

Agree0 Disagree0

30k a year to a coach is reasonable nothing extortinate, and also why would this lead to people loosing jobs? oh and yes it does help in a football coaching role if you actually get on with your colleagues! FAIL!

Agree0 Disagree0

@3/ Your joking right? Ally has McDowall and Durrant there as coaches. He also has a full time goalkeeper coach. All this in the Second division! Durie won't lead to people losing jobs but it is a slap in the face for people who have worked there for years. Get a grip of yourself man.

Squad for next season (Two players for each position

Bell/Kello

Foster/Argyriou
Wallace/S Smith
Berra/Emilson
Pandza/Faure

Peralta/Black
Law/Sheils
Templeton/Aird
McLeod/Crawford
Little/McKay

Daly/McCulloch
Clark/Novo

I'd keep Hegarty, & Perry, and try and loan out Gallacher, Cole, Gasparatto, Mitchell, Hutton, & K Naismith.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Novo? Are you for real. Lose a young player for an old.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ridiculous. the website already has 27 players in their shiny new blackthorn shirts. 27! and you want to add six more names. and loan out six. do you realise this cost money that rangers simply do not have. use the youth and reserves is what has to happen until next division up

Agree0 Disagree0

Are we lining up in a 4-5-2 then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sledgehammer to crack a walnut!

q. o. t. s won it by 24 points last year with a squad of players that none of us outside dumfries have ever heard of .

so with a team of spl players, playing the same teams, anything less than a 30 point margin will be embarrassing for you.
just as I pointed out to the guy yesterday, he was predicting clark and daly would get 45 goals between them this season. with that team I would sack both if they didn't get 75. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

Christ I thought we would've breezed this league anyway but now we can play 4-5-2 I'm convinced another record breaking season on the cards lol

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would you loan out - there is no one who would be offered on loan good enough to play at the top level in Scotland & the wages paid at ibrox is far to much for any of the teams in the 2nd league to pay. I doubt if any of the lower English leagues would be intersted

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the orginal post is simply split into GK, DEF, MIDF & FWDS. No formation was mentioned.

Has any my fellow rangers supporters seen the bosnian stopper that we're wanting to sign boris pandza playing and how good is he?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't know how good he is but he was out injured for some time at Mechelen.
Rumour has it that Sasa Papac recommended him to McCoist.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm unsure mate but if he's half the team player my unsung hero of previous seasons Sasa Papac was then I welcome him with open arms aslong as we can afford his wages.

Ok no doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong, we are going to a new league structure with a completely new orginisation being formed, Rangers will get full membership but why are the restrictions still in place on signings, shouldn't all teams start with a clean slate the day this orginisation comes into being. Yhis way we can leave what has happened in the past and all move on.

Celtic Fan

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Valid point but who knows.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely agree.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your post comes from Common Sense mate but personally I'd rather we just finished our embargo so we cannot be pasted with the preferential treatment brush.

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Restrictions are imposed by the sfa, not spl/sfl/spfl so we just need to wait it out. In the league we are in we shouldn't really be paying transfer fees for established players. Possibly fess for hot prospects who can be sold on when we reach the top league again

Agree0 Disagree0

Larky Bear I disagree I feel the whole of scottish football has to move on and @4 Rangers are missing the opportunity of of building a team of young talent, yeh maybe no glory days for a few years but these young lads coming up through the leagues with Rangers having to work their socks off, you bears would have some team also good resale value for the players bringing cash in for the club. There seem so be to many missed opportunities.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5. Rangers can't afford to not get promoted. This is why they are building a squad way above what is required. What if we chance our arm and played the youngsters then say come December we were off the pace or struggling to get away from the others? That's right, embargo over, no free agents available. You got it spend 500k - 800k on each SPL type player. Better to get them now when they are free. We have to ensure promotion. End of.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic fan? aye right , on this site it's not a completely new organisation, it's the same organisation, with the same name and same history. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't need of SPL players to win this league. You only need a good manger like QoS had last year and a budget of £300,000.
We will have the second largest budget in Scottish Football

Agree0 Disagree0

N7 shammy you are a celtic fan on this site

Rangers team for the new season - bell/kello, foster, pandza, berra, Wallace, mcculloch, mcleod, law, templeton, daly, clark. What do you guys think of my starting 11?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We don't need Berra. Gasporotto should play with Jig in defence.

Agree0 Disagree0

No one to control the game from the middle of the park. Team will walk the division

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't see the need for an expensive established 2nd keeper. Put the youth keepers on the bench when they aren't playing with u19s
