I'm sick of reading that people have met players in ASDA or in Glasgow or at Cineworld or in McDonalds and been told every detail about new signings and new contracts. When the bottom line is, the players know the same as your average punter, absolutely NOTHING. When a new signing is holding up the shirt at Murray Park that's when they know they've signed. Hi ed 10 I thought I would advise you to take away the transfer rumour forms you might be able to save the company some money and as it happens I dont think we are going to need them..mind you the bears need a bit of escapism its the only thing that might keep them cheered up or half sane until the season proper starts and the silly season ends I dont want to speculate I hope they get diouf back he might be afforable at least and hes got quick feet.I dont see cueller getting here now , goodwillie seems to be going to wales and as for the rest of the debacle we got healy he might do something and and in line with the youth policy mr little got a another crack etc my fear is that jelavic steve davis mr naismith al mcgregor and any other promising item on the playing staff will be sold as and when the right opportunity arises seems like mr whittaker has taken a look and said this is not for memy only worry would be where the transfer fee would go.still
I wish the boys a good season and but I have my doubts.

Very true, also a worry is the players we are being linked with a former player like boyd, lovenkrants, ferguson, novo( although i did love the wee man as he was rangers through and through) but we should be looking to the future. Don, t trust anything this Whyte is saying.

The point your missing is that rangers wanted the 3 players that signed for other clubs, the reason they where spoke to was in the hope they would be rangers players not in the hope they would go elsewhere, with the impending tax bill looming would you seriously sign for a club whos future is still unclear, its similar to the goodwillie signing with impending charges against him.

The squad is not the same, we havn, t Diuof or foster for a start, weiss isn, t back and either is bartly. I know the squad is still pretty good but if you look at the time last season when we did pick up injurys then that is when our football was crap.We need to freshen the team as i, m sure you wouldn, t go into the cinema and watch the same movie over and over again. Barcelona are the best team in the world but still add a few players. Just read the sun online sports page, clicked the dundee utd badge and read Rambo's advice to Goodwillie.I cannot agree more with the big ex-sellick man. The big yin is telling it how I and I'll bet more than a few others see it nowadays.WELL WORTH a read guy's and good on ye Rambo, even if you are one of THEM.......... LOl

Does anyone think that even if we do sign this guy, that he will be a starter in the team ?? OR, a squad player, and that this is why Whytes valuation is not the same as anyone elses? Just a thought Bears, ed ?


{Ed010's Note -I do think that he would start the season alongside Jelavic but having said that, if that were the case, then I would have a great deal of sympathy with Lafferty as he has surely earned his chance to play as a striker. I don't think that any valuation centres on whether anyone is a regular or squad player.
