I’m sure I spoke to a former teammate on her but that might have been a couple of years ago, maybe some others on here though, I am still friends with a few coaches but they rarely know anymore than me.

Oddly enough, i happened to be speaking to Ryan Kent’s Aunty at the end of October. Came up in conversation whilst I was in her shop that I was rushing home to catch the gers match that day. She then said her nephew played for us. Anyway long story short she says he was loving life up there, settled and very happy in Scotland. So much so she joked he seems to prefer Scottish people to the English.

Appreciate it was a few months ago but useful insight nonetheless.

Hope all the hagi doubters can finally see what he brings to the team. One of my favourite players and believe he will become one of our biggest assets. Let him blossom as for his age to be top passer in the league earlier in season only second to tav in assists who has had far more minutes for a 21 year old ( correct me if i'm wrong) is nothing short of outstanding. I rate him better than kent. Kent may be faster but what good is tht if you barely provide or score yes he can run all day but hagi opens teams up for fun is two footed turns n drives forward instantly whatever foot the ball is on. If a player makes a good run or is in a good forward position more often thn not he will find them. Yes sometimes they don't come off but as they say no risk no reward. U need players like tht thts why others in our team score due to hagis and others vision. Would love too have him at our mighty club throughout his career. Once he starts bagging more goals i believe he will be a very special player. And to have a name like hagi performing for you i'm sure it will attract more worldwide admirers/ fans due to the name. Think of a lot of top european players at tht age. a lot weren't as influential untill later in their careers. that's my opinion n i may be slated for it but al stand by it until i see otherwise. Apart from tht can i just say congratulations too the mighty gers onwards n upwards. And let's get back too fighting from the first whistle from front too back. Was sceltical about the change at half time but that’s why the gaffer is in charge. First half wasnt working with pace on each side not troubling the keeper. Hagi came on as he can get shots away and through balls from tough positions. Today showed however how important Arfield and Jack are. Missed Arfields runs in behind and Jacks defensive qualities. Delighted with the result today! Prior the kick off I was all. as long as we don't get beat! . that was due to the performances post St. Mirren where I thought we have done enough to win our games but nowhere near our best, due to that results where we haven't been at our best, I thought Celtic which for them today was a must win game and I thought they would start stronger which they did, we were off our usual pressing game and our ball retention was awful! . McGregor did what Greegsy does. absolutely brilliant and kept us in the game! Kent for me is a must start every week, as soon as he receives the ball any team immediately doubles up leaving space for other players, the same goes for Alfredo, he pulls defences all over the place and his hold up play creates space for others. the ball from Tav today for Morelos to then roll Bitton for the sending off, which was stonewall! This shows what Alfredo can give you, regardless of what Lennon thought in the post match interview, Petrov his ex team mate disagreed and said it was a red! The downside was the yellow card which forced Gerrard to take Alfredo off, he needs to curb his petulance, but let's see how BBC / Sportscene covers the incident in the first half, will it be covered more than Edouard's tackle against Dundee Utd which conveniently missed the TV highlights? Last week? . all in all a great result today, but next Sunday at the sheep will be equally as important, we will need to be more at our game than today if we want a result! . great start for 2021 loving life!

Well I think we got away with one there today, awful first half but we held out, big Al magnificent in goals, reminded me of "the goalie" we dominated them last season the league cup final and got nothing, so the pendalum swung the other way today. Great result today guys considering we were 2nd best for most of the game, winning ugly when your not playing well has been missing from our team for a few seasons now but when the chips are down the sleeves got rolled up and they ground it out. Don’t know about everyone else but I thought we looked nervous and they let the occasion and enormity of the occasion get to them, looked like we were more interested in not losing than trying to win. I would consider taking kent of and putting zungu on, play two up top to shake it up a bit. You will still get the wing play from barasic and tav, sit Davis inbetween defence and midfield. Hopefully with Celtic needing the win today and apparently going to go all guns blazing. I believe and hope this could play into rangers hands with celtic leaving themselves exposed at the back who are an already leaky team when teams attack. Rangers form hasn't been what it was at start of the season but we still got the wins which is the sign of a good team, against teams who were trying not to win the games but just not to get beaten. I believe this is why the form dipped as it isn't easy against teams who park the bus. Celtic cannot afford to do this n if they did rangers would cut them open. If we can defend from the front to the back chasing down everyball, then playing our slick quick passing when we win it back i believe The game should be ours. Celtic have improved recently but u have to remember their opponents. We have the stronger players get in their face n bully them get the ball forward quick n let's expose this defence like they have been time and again by many a small team and even continental reserves. They may have improved from mid to front by making afew changes but they have same keeper and defence so let's get at them quick fast outmuscle and shoot on sight. Been thinking about the game all last night. If they go 2 up top they will be explain the flanks where we are really strong, and I think our defence is solid enough to deal with their attack. If they match up against us the won’t have the fire power to harm us.

All. I'm a Celtic supporter so hope we win today. I just wanted to say God bless all those poor souls who lost their lives in the Ibrox disaster. I was at that game as a 13 year old boy with my mate who was a Rangers supporter. I remember the two of us nipping into the sweetie shop before we got on the train and the woman behind the counter saying how great it was to see the 2 of us dressed in our team colours going to the game together.
