anybody know if we have brought any players back from their loan spells, only one I've seen mentioned is that Barrie Mackay is staying at Raith, I would like to see Mcausland, Gallagher and Gasparotto given their chance

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - Luca is staying at Airdrie)

Do you think Luca and Callum will be given new contracts?

Today as any Rangers supporter or family member will know is extremely important and emotional to all of the Rangers family in respecting the "66" in the Ibrox disaster.

How disgraceful that the CEO and chairman can't even have the decency to show there respects to the fallen, this sums up how our club is being ran and shows without a shadow of a doubt these people are not remotely interested in Rangers.

I see the "twins" appeared? Don't be fooled by this show

I just wish people would at least be honest and show real respect to the victims and there families at this very sad time of the year, not forgetting the thousands of fans who where actually at the game and have been fighting the demons ever since, every anniversary brings it all back.

To lost family, friends and fellow supporters

Take a minute to remember them

Hopefully King & Co will now get rid of the hangers on including the management team and get there own manager in A. S. A. P and bring back all the good days that this great club and us great fans deserve. Finally I hope we can see light at the end of the tunnel. WATP

Dave king is part of the reason of what happened that man is a crook no 2 ways about it can't believe people see him as the saviour cometh, another battle with south African tax office for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Everythings not going to happen straight away, it all costs money give it till summer and everything should be running well, new board, new manager and coaching staff and hopefully a couple of players going and coming aswell

Great news about King today! I've heard that Kieran Prior will be the next to buy a considerable amount of shares.

(remember this is a rumours site, I'm obviously not 100% sure on this, just something I've heard)

Ed 039 I do believe this has been kings backup plan all along he just needed somoene willing to sell at the right price my hope is he pulls out all the stops to stop MA power grab as he isn't what Rangers or us fans need

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 17:50:26
Dave king FINALLY puts his money where his mouth is and had purchased 15% in Rangers shares this could now be the great white hope we have all been waiting for troops. Rumoured to be paying off MA the £3 million and along with the three Bears underwriting the entire share issue to the tune of £10 million. Thoughts ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - I want to know why now? I think something big is happening for these 2 sets of considerable shares to be bought now, hopefully something for the better like a board clear out and refinancing package)

Ed 039, it's something big all right

Park, king, letham and Taylor now own just over 34% between them

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Can he cancel McLeod move?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - no)

King's strategy all along was to buy into the club via a new share issue ensuring all the cash went to the club and not into the pockets of the "spivs" but the board blocked him last month. His only alternative then was to buy what shares that are available. The down side is that there is less money now to put into sorting out the future. It looks like he has spent £2m of the £ 8m quoted; another £3m to pay back Ashley and this leaves less for the future. Things looking better but a long way to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe because the shares were 20p. maybe that was just too good a price rather than let the club go insolvent again because that would probably have been the end for most fans. well me anyway. hope your right ed. you seem to know more than most. hopefully we can get the club on a more stable founding, get a new manager and make a decent assault on promotion next year

@2 You are at the noise up mate.Aye King can cancel MacLeod move!Come on man!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed39 you know from some of my posts regarding Dave King I have a wee bit inside knowledge
Dave King has never been away he was working on this for some time basically he had to wait on someone willing to sell there shares and at the right price that time was now. The big question now is for the Easdales this is your last chance to pick your side choose wisely!

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 why would you want to? Keep an unhappy player who will have a grudge against the club? I think not.

Brilliant news Dave King now on board, with the three bears investment, we now have proper Rangers men in pole position, I know its early doors, but its great news at the start of the year, let's hope for a full house tomorrow. Upwards and onwards. watp

King today on the bandwagon. Hopefully a full house tomorrow to promote the new investors, but also to get the team going.

He's accepted buying shares was his only way in.Let's see if he can merge with Parks mob,or have they had a wee tiff?
Better news though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tommie:There is no investors in the club yet pal, the money goes to the seller of the shares.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - what it does do is give them scope to influence decisions on funding and financing though)

Briliant news. I have been a big critic of Dave King's lack of action but that shuts my big gub. Delighted, so onwards and upwards. Maybe now we are seeing more than a chink of light and we can go back to supporting the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed has got it in one. The ability to make decisions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb it takes a man to admit when he was wrong so I tip my hat sir.

I think every Rangers fan will rejoice in the great news today and I think without a doubt all the investors recently are true Rangers supporters, as you know Billyb there is still some hurdles to overcome and only once Ashley, lambias and the twins with the "wet fish" somers are removed can we truly begin the healing process and cleanse our club from the inside! Still some hiding under the blankets but there time is coming to a abrupt halt very soon, onwards and upwards so we can get back to supporting the team.

I will still urge extreme caution regarding the sports direct situation! And continue a complete boycott on any merchandise until this outrageous retail contract is ripped up and made to actually benefit the club, which begs another question what exactly did green, Stockbridge and Ahmed get for selling the jersey?

To a better 2015

Dave king buys 14. 6 per cent stake in glasgow rangers

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is that the new shares he has bought or has he bought someone else's. mixed thoughts on this

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - someone elses shares, new share issue has not been finalised yet)

Cheers ed. just read its Artemis and mirons shares. hopefully the new shares can be bought buy either king or park. surely that must spell the end for Ashley and easdales. fingies crossed.

02 Jan 2015 18:20:51
Ashely 9.6 & Easedales 5%?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - its the proxy voting rights that they hold that are they issue with the easdales and not their actual shareholding)

02 Jan 2015 18:47:33
Ed, you missed my point. Its more likely King has held talks with Easedale and Ashleys men before buying shares on the priviso King buys them out Kings too shrewd to have bought 15% without having done some ground work. What I was told was That the events this week were all part of his consortiums bid for secure control. Of Kings 8 Latham, Taylor and Park were 3 of if that is true they now collectivley own 40% and King will secure futher shares in the new share issue.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - ok, that wasnt clear)

From the figures i've seen the three bears combined with King would have about 34% not 40%. Could you outline the 40 if you know this?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 19:57:55
I was wrong King bought shares from rtemis, Miton and River and Mercantile.

What's the feeling amongst fans about the match tomorrow, do you reckon the crowd will be higher than lately, I think it Will be.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hopefully there will be a big crowd, as hard as it is to back such a corrupt board, we should really be rallying round our mediocre players no matter the level of their ability. We are still Rangers afterall.

02 Jan 2015 19:33:47
Hopefully the fact the three bears consortium & now Dave king have bought shares will help swell the crowd tomorrow.
Also heard somers & llambias to resign over the weekend and king is talking to ashleys people about clearing loans among other things.

We have had difficult times recently, but just spare a thought for the 66 fellow bluenoses that lost their lives 44 years ago today.
I left the game by the other stairwell at the Copland Road terracing and was totally unaware of the event unfolding, but as the details started to filter through, the atmosphere in the city total transformed. A tragic day that must never be forgotten.

Hi, I think McCoist tensure can be summed up with the following. McCoist had the chance to sign of re-sign the following players Bauben, Gomez, Scott Allan, kevin thompson, David Clarkson and Tom Hateley who have all had great seasonw with their clubs. Instead he took an over weight Kris Boyd, a tired Kenny Miller and Bilel Moshni.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Never has a manager of rangers had a record likw macoist for signing decent players and there performances went back the way not one player he signed have kicked on and improved that says it all about his tenure

Agree0 Disagree0

Look guys we can bang on and on about mccoist he was legend as player but simply worst manager to ever grace rangers end of

Agree0 Disagree0

Only Tom hately I would say would have been an improvement maybe gomis

Agree0 Disagree0

@3

Are you saying Scott Allan wouldn't have been an improvement?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 13:55:56
@3 Scott Allan was terrifying against us. Surely you would take Allan over Black or Law at present.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 13:58:37
All the players mentioned were all paper speculations there was nothing ever officially from Ibrox & Scott Allen said recently he was never approached by Rangers before he signed for hibs.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

Nope he has had 1 very good game against rangers rest of the games he has been his usual selfish self with a horrible attitude. Kenny McLean should have been signed the guy couldn't have made it any clearer he wanted to join.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are people saying we signed mohsni at the start of this season lol? we signed him for league 2

Agree0 Disagree0

League one sorry

So, we, re still on mcoist then eh,? I'm bored to tears reading the same things day after day WE KNOW, he isn't a good manager, can we now try and move on,

Agree0 Disagree0

#2 worst Rangers manager ever? P. L. G anyone!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its close run thing on who was the worst

Agree0 Disagree0

11] I'm afraid mcc is the worst by a distance. Paul le Guen forgot more than ally knew.

Agree0 Disagree0

PLG aways gets a hard time of it but in reality I think we missed a trick. He actually played some pretty attractive stuff but couldn't convert it into wins sadly. He was left hung out to dry by the players as he challenged their bad habits including fitness, diets etc - something which still goes on according to Faures revelations about Black eating all the cakes at half time. I think if he had time to fully implement is ideas he could have been really good for us and would undoubtedly in my opinion made better use of Murray Par than any of the other Managers we have had. Ultimately at a club like Rangers time isn't something most managers are afforded but i'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Now the three Bears are in the door can we expect some real money spent on good players. Are the glory days about to return?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Get real mate, I take it your post is a wind up.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 10:22:09
No way, any money will be spent on restructuring the club. Starting with a manager, offloading high earners who have not performed. Can see 3-4 leaving in the window, we will play kids to the end of the season and hope for the best. The club in it's current form is not in shape to return to the SPL and face humuiliation I think fans beed to accept that if we can remove the board and have the correct men in charge that promotion won't happen this year and that in the summer we will have a new manager in building a team to go again next season. As sad as it is it would be for the best.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 11:44:26
There is no money still more to leave before feb I reckon

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no money. This money goes to whoever owns the shares (Laxey, in this case) - the money does not come to the club.

Finally a rangers player that talks the truth, well done seb faure for speaking out he is 100% right about the fans and other players.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The story has not really told us anything that we probably didn't know already, why didn't the bit with mccoist using his arse as target practice surprise me, I wish I was there with my size 10 steel toe caps on, because I would have made sure I hit the target hard.

Agree0 Disagree0

What did he say ta

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 10:57:14
Why do so called fans on here read a story and just pick out the negatives to post, when he says the bit about dropping his shorts he said they were having a joke and he & mohsni were rolling about laughing so if having a joke at training is not allowed well! You also failed to mention that he said coaches here do the right thing. & players would get the hairdryer treatment when it was required.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

Have just read faures comments there is nothing damming in it I am quite sure at most clubs there is some horseplay goes on as far as diets go when rangers won in barcelona most would eat tatties and mince rather than pasta I am quite certain there are more damming storeis than this

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf, I played football for years at a decent level and I seen a lot more worse than people dropping shorts, we all know what goes on in training grounds, but instead of spitting the dummy mate read the post's, it's called humour mate, get a life.

Agree0 Disagree0

Talking about certain players diets Boyd. Daly. Foster etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 12:54:58
Ya I can just see Wallace, souness, smith, are big eck dropping there shorts in training!get real that was mccoists problem he wanted to be mates with the players and not there boss, any struggling managers out there just drop your shorts and get the players to fire footballs at you that will get them winning games lol

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 13:51:11
@ royalblue wasn't aimed at u mate, thought you would've seen I was having a go at posters who pick the bad bits out and post b4 reading all the story.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 Exactly pal, you can't be best mates with your manager and I don't care what level you play at. Every time you saw a picture of a "training" session, there was far too much laughing for my liking. Faure was basically saying the training was a joke, only not in so many words.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk&7. I agree totally with your posts, you couldn't name any manager in the history of Rangers who would have done that, everyone knows banter and prank's take place especially in an environment like football, that's why in my original post I said why don't that surprise me about mccoist, I don't think for minute a manager should be acting like that, whether your managing Rangers or Petershill or even a Sunday morning team, how can you gain respect or authority from your players by baring your arse to them.

Agree0 Disagree0
