See You Next Thursday 23

02 Dec 2020 23:30:53
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new podcast entitled, See You Next Thursday 23

02 Dec 2020 21:34:28
BMGH01,I was just looking at the glasgow south west foodbank charity page of donations that you so kindly set up pal. I donated 12 hours ago but for some reason i'm down as anonymous next to my message ๐Ÿค”I must have pressed the anonymous button by mistake pal ๐Ÿค”.

02 Dec 2020 22:08:03
My mum had lived in Spain for years and she returned to live in Harrogate because Spain went tits up. The UK government said she wasn't classed as British because she had lived out of the UK for more than ten years. They gave her nothing and she had to survive on a food bank. The UK/ English government is an absolute joke. They wouldn't give my 65 year old mother anything, plus she had no doctor or medical coverage for three months, no accomodation allowance or free transport. No housing help and universal credit would take up to six months. I've spent loads on helping food banks because I know what it means. A quid can give a kilo of pasta, instant mash, salt, sugar or so much more. The public help more than the government, that's why I'm so proud of the SNP. Independence is the best strategy.

03 Dec 2020 07:01:19
Agree with your sentiments, donโ€™t agree with the blind support of the snp, the food bank era is a deep shame on Britain including an SNP run Scotland, so I donโ€™t understand the faith in their policies, foreigners don Have any problems getting social security at any time.

03 Dec 2020 08:04:54
I'm not sure that someone who has lived abroad for 10 years should expect to return to the UK and automatically get state help, much though I sympathise with your mum's situation.

03 Dec 2020 08:21:23
That's no worries SGL I knew it was you mate.
I'm so sorry to hear that Rossco, it should never have happened. But, I'm with Tom on this one mate, the SNP haven't exactly been shining lights when it comes to this. There are more foodbanks popping up all over Scotland just now, and it's not all down to the UK Government (although they are bloody useless) The SNP might want you to believe it's all the UK Government's fault, but they are passing the buck so their own failures are not highlighted more.
Regardless of who is at fault, poor families should not have to depend on foodbanks in the 21st Century!
I had a conversation with Glasgow South west foodbank's treasurer and he told me a story regarding a recent kids pack lunch event they ran.
A 7 year old girl, her sister and her mum turned up, and after eating only half her packed lunch (which was only a couple of sandwiches and a piece of fruit), the wee 7 year old girl slid the other half to her mum and said "you have this mum as you haven't ate anything from yesterday". That's heartbreaking!
I know there's some out there who are cynical and probably think the parents spend the money on drink, fags etc, but it's not like that. Parents are going without food so they can feed their kids, and at this time of year it's worse.
Guys, I appreciate all who have contributed to our own foodbank appeal, and If anyone else wants to contribute, the link is just above.

I had a look at the appeal on the Celtic forum and they are at ยฃ990 which is just amazing considering it's only been up 2 days! Well done to Ed007 and the guys on the Celtic forum for contributing!

03 Dec 2020 08:34:48
Wow Rossco!

If she had moved to Glasgow would the SNP handed her anything in similar circumstances?

What about Spain? After 10 years should Spain not look after her?

03 Dec 2020 08:36:46
SNP? Independence?
Everything that is devolved to Scotland is failing under the SNP!
Education, Health Service, higher taxes than the rest of the UK etc.
And let's not mention their handling of CV!
The blind faith shown in the SNP Cult is astounding.
But each to their own๐Ÿ‘.

03 Dec 2020 09:16:30
Cult is right and how any adult would think that Scotland would govern itself within the EU is beyond me.

Big shock coming to those who follow blindly.

03 Dec 2020 09:20:59
If rossco gets his independence he won't have a NHS. Scotland will have to set up its own health service like eire.

03 Dec 2020 09:28:04
Aw Rossco you were doing well u til that last bit ๐Ÿ˜‚ anyway, despite your allegiance to wee Jimmy cranky I applaud you for your continued donations to the food banks, you are indeed a kind hearted gentleman!

03 Dec 2020 09:33:24
I sympathise totally with your poor mum's predicament and experiences mate, but i agree with the guys above where the SNP are concerned! Never will vote for them, even if they were the only party. Through my late grandfather's who were both miners and my own late father who had a wee spell as a miner, i was brought up in strict labour party households. All 3 of them were red hot labour men! I of course followed suit when i was voting age and have always voted labour. TBH i honestly don't think any of them in this day and age do any good for us in general ๐Ÿค”When tony blair became prime minister in 1997,he took what he called new labour, far too right wing and closer to the torries. As i'm originally from lanarkshire and probably biased when i say this, but i thought john smith who would have been prime minister and a terrific one at that,
died 3 years before labour got in and a certain tony blair was john smith's understudy, when he was the labour leader! Smith, honestly guys was a terrific gentleman and i knew him ๐Ÿ‘He would IMO have been one of the best prime minister's, this country had ever seen, but for his sad, untimely death ๐Ÿ˜ž.

03 Dec 2020 10:03:01
I have lived in England for the last 36 years so couldn't/ wouldn't vote for SNP in a million years. I too was brought up in a Labour, working class area of Dundee but when Jeremy Corbyn became leader of the Labour Party I stopped voting for them. Living down south, I suppose I don't have to listen to the prattling of week Krankie! Would-be Scottish Nationalists should think about what would happen if independence did happen. No NHS or armed forces for a start!

03 Dec 2020 10:17:05
Totally agree SGL about John Smith๐Ÿ‘.

03 Dec 2020 10:31:23
Good post Coops, john Smith had integrity and was a sad loss to his party and Scotland.

03 Dec 2020 10:45:15
fellow bears the original is not about the snp or any political party its about chucking a coople of bob towards a charity started by one of our own its paysay for lucky ole me tomorrow and i won't miss another few euros c'mon bears dig deep and donate to the food appeal top of the page.

03 Dec 2020 11:34:07
Thanks again Brian, it's much appreciated!
It's easy to go off tangent guys when discussing things like this, but this is about some poor people from around the Ibrox area not able to feed themselves or their kids during a period when we're supposed to be happy.
Politics has obviously a big part to play in the reasons for foodbanks, but we're not politicians, we're decent people who can help!

03 Dec 2020 15:10:06
Anent the SNP and foodbanks.

Some facts. Research (Rachel Loopstra and colleagues) found that food banks were more likely to open in areas wirh greater unemployment and welfare sanctions and reductions in local and central government (in England) spending - austerity in other words.

There were no food banks in Hartlepool in 2009. Now there are 9. What happened? Austerity. Tory government policies.

No Scottish government, Snp or whatever controls the economy. Welfare benefits are largely reserved to Westminster. So responsibility for food banks does not lie with the SNP.

I am not a member of any political party. I have been a volunteer in a food bank and have seen at first hand the malign and harmful effects of Tory policy regarding sanctions. I know about this stuff and will be glad to engage.

03 Dec 2020 15:43:53
The SNP are the ruling party in Scotland so therefore do have a responsibility regarding food banks.
Certain ills in society can't be all down to the big bad Tories?
Or does the SNP Yestapo just take credit for all the good things in Scotland?
I would have thought that an Education System that is failing, poor quality Scottish NHS and not spending the money raised in taxes which the SNP are in charge of correctly would all contribute to people needing to use food banks?
All governments ( Scottish and Westminster ) should do more to eliminate poverty in 2020.
But we have a party in Scotland who are more interested in independence than fixing the mess we are in. ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 19:14:40
I'm not so greedy so if I had too much money I'd sell some of it.

02 Dec 2020 19:13:45
I would give lawell how much it would take too keep popcorn teeth in his job.

02 Dec 2020 18:23:18
Hopefully a win tomorrow against liege.

02 Dec 2020 16:52:04
The league won't be officially won until we have 13 games left -#55.

02 Dec 2020 16:51:48
Ed, could I request a poll please.

Who do you consider to be the three bears in relation to RFC.
King, Murray and Gilligan

Park, Leatham and Taylor.

{Ed033's Note -

3 Bears poll

02 Dec 2020 17:29:30
I'll tell you my vote John25 like i told you earlier of course the original 3 bears are douglas park, the 2 George's letham and taylor!
What's your game pal? ๐Ÿค” Don't ever come on here and say i'm high and mighty and have a constant go at people! I admit i've done that at times, but you look in the mirror my friend, because you're the exact same and an instigator mate! What's your game is it because you definitely thought i didn't know the original 3 bears and i did with ease which proved your wrong, which sticks in your throat and because i happened to call another 3 rangers legends the 3 bears also? Let it go pal, why don't you!

02 Dec 2020 17:31:22
By the way John25,you've made a spelling error regarding letham โœ….

02 Dec 2020 17:40:58
Too much John, absolutely no need for it, Ed, thereโ€™s no need for a poll to prove the guy made a mistake, , Iโ€™ve called SGL out many times over years but this is childish.

02 Dec 2020 18:02:52
I agree. why don't we just get the edd to add a petty bickering section for all to use. That would be a busy section of the site. ๐Ÿค”.

02 Dec 2020 18:29:03
Guys it you want me to leave just say, my point is he thinks he knows it all,
Slaughter me last week for quoting football insider, told me I was a fool for believthem. re Kent.
Then posts article as correct from Scotsman saying Kent had new agent, Scots man straight lift of football insider and acknowledged
Itโ€™s all right for him to call people out not other way round.

02 Dec 2020 18:29:49
SGL mb I did spell it wrong, dyslexia and one eye does not help,

02 Dec 2020 18:32:24
Tom SGL did not make a mistake, thatโ€™s his view which he is entitled to as r many others in the poll.

02 Dec 2020 18:48:09
Lads, it's the season of goodwill and all that! Can you not kiss and make up under the mistletoe?

02 Dec 2020 18:54:35
hi john 25 i have been on this site a few years now and to be hoest mate are you ok? ihave always held your views and comments in high regard . rise above this petty nonsense you are most certainly above this . many times especially in the finance pages you spoke with passion and a sense of fairness please john ingnore what has happened you are a better person and do not eave this site for i for will miss your comments mate .

02 Dec 2020 19:09:28
Thanks Brian, I am good, like everyone else I care.
I appreciate your post.

02 Dec 2020 19:23:35
I'm sorry John25,if i offended you in any way regarding your ailments,
i'm most definitely not like that pal! I myself don't want you to leave this site as you do contribute a helluva lot and have a very good knowledge/ experience on everything rangers. I was only angry at you doing the things you rightly at times criticise me for mate ๐Ÿ‘ I hope you will stay ๐Ÿ™.

02 Dec 2020 19:28:14
mummy and daddy are arguing again.

02 Dec 2020 19:35:17
If you don't want to participate in the poll, scroll on past.
The posters having a dig at John25 are also getting a wee bit precious over a poll.
Ironically it's always the hypocrites and hysterical who get worked up the most when it's nothing to do with them.

02 Dec 2020 19:43:03
Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, with Robertโ€™s conducting the choir. What a day in every way!

02 Dec 2020 19:48:51
Just because your paranoid does not mean there not out to get you.

02 Dec 2020 20:10:46
I want a poll to see if we have another poll about absolute garbage. Coop and John are 2 good guys and contribute a lot to this site but maybe like myself itโ€™s sometimes better just to read the posts than post all the time! Keep enjoying the Gers boys as this season is amazingโœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง.

02 Dec 2020 20:11:06
You should take your own advice onboard BB๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 20:20:38
Stop all this bickering amongst ourselves and leave that to the Celtic fans. If any of them came on here for a read they would be laughing at how ridiculous this is.

02 Dec 2020 20:42:41
Sgl u did not offend me re ailments. I 100% know that is not your style. Had them all my life so just get on with it.

02 Dec 2020 21:25:44
Fair play John25 and we're all bears together on here after all mate ๐Ÿ‘
All the best pal๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 21:58:52
You pair are getting me welling up ๐Ÿ˜‚
Personally I like both your views and opinions so glad youโ€™re all sorted and no one leaving. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป.

02 Dec 2020 22:25:50
Thanks AlloaGer ๐Ÿ‘ You're very kind words are much appreciated pal!

02 Dec 2020 22:31:00
Guys, let's stop the bickering and leave that to the other mob. We're better than that.

02 Dec 2020 15:52:12
hi ed how long will the rangers food appeal which is at the top of the page be running for? just like to say a very quck story which is true
back in the 70's a flat in the shaws was broken into the police arrived to find 3 children eatin food out of the fridge . still after all this time brings a wee tear to my eye. thanks ed for all you do during the year regards brian.

{Ed001's Note - we can leave it there as long as it is needed. Though you might have to remind Ed33 to put it back up if he is doing changes, as he might forget to put it back up.

It is sad that anyone in a country as rich as the UK ever has to go hungry.}

02 Dec 2020 22:01:36
You know what I hate Ed, not just hungry but unhealthy kids. A lot of the time itโ€™s hard to blame the parents, for 2 quid you can get a cheeseburger and chips, or. 7 strawberryโ€™s from Tesco!

02 Dec 2020 22:05:27
Just watched man utd v p s g. P s g 's work rate was amazing. Kinda like gers. hope Stevie was watching to remind him of what workrate can do.

02 Dec 2020 15:37:17
Wee question troops, if you win the euro lotto on Fri 170 mil, how much would you give to the famous.
Ive done a quick calculation and hand on heart I'd have no problem handing over 40 mil at the very least.

02 Dec 2020 15:55:19
Quick calculation?
How much debt do you have Brexit Jam that you are keeping ยฃ130 million? ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ.

02 Dec 2020 16:11:41
Excellent question Brexit

Hypothetically of course but Iโ€™d give ยฃ50m. In return Iโ€™d want my face as the shirt sponsor, a stand in my name, design the new strip, a crack at Gerrards wife and a right winger!

Fairs fair.

02 Dec 2020 16:14:03
Mph, if I did have any debt I wouldn't be tellin u about it, when I was calculating I was thinking family, friends, charity's (lots of them) work colleagues, I never said I was keepin 130 mil, so if u don't want to reply with an answer "Don't Reply". Simples.

02 Dec 2020 16:18:30
I think you've took spudnut the wrong way brexit. ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 16:41:10
Steady on Brexit, you're way off with that!
MPH was only having a bit of light hearted fun with his post, and there was nothing offensive about it. This has been taking out of context.

02 Dec 2020 15:57:36
I'd try and buy the club outright ๐Ÿ˜.

02 Dec 2020 16:42:28
Haha that's exactly what I was thinking coldo. But if I'm wrong then how dare you spud nut take the micky about Brexits fantasy fortune.

02 Dec 2020 16:43:13
Aye think that was a tongue in cheek one mate ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ.

02 Dec 2020 17:05:43
Never seen any wee smiley emoji โ˜บ, so if I have took it the wrong way mph can let me know and I'll apologise and send him 10 mil sat morning.

02 Dec 2020 17:26:25
That only leaves you with 120 million quid brexit. You'll need to back a few more winners and try claw some cash back. ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ˜„.

02 Dec 2020 18:05:27
I know everybody says it, but I'm not sure if it actually happened anybody would hand 50m to the club ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ.

02 Dec 2020 18:32:40
3 cheers he could maybe get timalie to pick him a few winners ๐Ÿ˜‚.

02 Dec 2020 18:38:27
I took offense brexit๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ just send me 5mil and I'll say no more about it๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 18:40:25
FFP would be interesting, I tend to agree with herewego not sure many would hand over millions, look at man from Largs gave millions to Patrick, did not seem to help.

02 Dec 2020 18:43:27
I would buy Celtic and employ Pedro Caixinha as DOF/ manager.

02 Dec 2020 18:47:44
Difficult question and probably less would be given than people think, suspect most would refrain from giving a large chunk to a football club. however if Gerards wife was in the deal.

02 Dec 2020 19:15:01
Last think we need is sgl buying the club outright. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ Probably replace SG with Billy Davies.

02 Dec 2020 19:39:07
Broxi, why don't you just send me Timalies phone number and I'll ask him myself.

02 Dec 2020 19:40:06
Can you make it ยฃ12 million Brexit Jam, and we'll say no more about it?
I need to give Coldo a couple of million for being the first to notice it was a joke! ๐Ÿ˜‚.

02 Dec 2020 20:10:49
No probs mph, it will be despatched first class sat morning 12 mil postal order and sorry for taking it the wrong way.

02 Dec 2020 15:29:42
Let's be clear. All this crap about Celtic and their current plight. Rangers went 8 years playing teams (all respect to them) like Peterhead, Stirling Albion, Elgin City, etc) while Celtic had a free run a the Premiership title with no Rangers there to compete and pretty well no competition from the sheep, Hibs, Hearts et al. This fact seems to evade sports commentators and others. Since we got back up to the top flight 4 years ago, we've had rubbish managers, been scraping about for decent players, that is until Steve Gerrard was appointed. Now that Celtic have real opposition, they are imploding and panicking. I dare say if Celtic had been dumped into the League 3 Rangers would have dominated Scottish football. Doesn't say much about Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts and the others, does it?

02 Dec 2020 17:35:47
Great post DOIGER and so true ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 17:36:18
True. It's never mentioned that they won so many titles with no real competition and they all agreed and threw us out. I'll never forget and as I said many times before, I'll never visit or spend a penny of my cash in their turncoat stadiums. Let them suffer. Celtic have competition at last and don't know how to cope. Great, stuff them all. Only one club matters to me. When we win the league this year, let it be remembered that we had Celtic as competition and it wasn't a tainted, handed out one. Only four or five of theirs was earned and won properly. Let's hope we go for ten as if next year. Onwards and upwards and one day closer.55.

02 Dec 2020 18:52:25
Unlikely to be mentioned, dare I say it but the previous two niarโ€™s were in my opinion much greater achievements.

02 Dec 2020 14:23:38
Over on the Celtic page they have the annual appeal for the food bank in Hamilton in which 007 collects for. I would just like to acknowledge what he said about anyone struggling with related issues to contact him in confidence and he will try and help out in some way.

James Bond takes some pelters over here (I include myself in that) but I have to say that whilst we never see eye to eye, I admire his commitment and compassion for the guys in his ranks. It shows the true colours of the man and I wholeheartedly salute you sir ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป.

02 Dec 2020 14:32:31
Here here c of Ibrox!
He might take pelters on here, but there's no doubting the good he does.
I doubt he reads these pages, but hats off to the guy.

02 Dec 2020 13:33:14
Ally McCoist 2012 -"Probably one or 2 people are enjoying this. Maybe one or two will have a Fly wee kick--I would suggest to them that they have a Right good kick just now because we will not be where we are for long".

02 Dec 2020 15:29:07
That man McCoist deserves a statue next to King. McCoist stood by us and held us together and fought for our club and our dignity when no one else wanted to know, everyone else was trying to bury us and when the rats tried to fleece us. When McCoist took over I think we had 5 players. The man will always be a Legend๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 16:10:31
Coldo I fully agree ally will always be a legend in my eyes. Regardless of how it ended as him being manager! No manager in the history has dealt with what he did and he stood tall and backed us every step of the way. I remember seeing a picture of ally the year he became manager with a pic of him when he left as manager and the affect the job had on him was clear to see I applaud him along with king the 3 bears and Gerrard for bringing us as far as they all have none of it would have been possible without them all. A true rangers legend โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™.

02 Dec 2020 16:11:38
He was unfortunately never manager material, but one of my heroes nevertheless, and I can remember him saying that. Not as eloquent as Bill Struth but true.

02 Dec 2020 17:06:47
Terrible manager.

02 Dec 2020 17:09:23
Unfortunately many of the signings just didn't cut it.

02 Dec 2020 17:25:34
Well said coldo.

02 Dec 2020 17:37:05
Yip coldo super ally always a proper glasgow rangers legend for me ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 19:04:51
McCoist will always be a legend at rangers.
For so long he operated as manager with both hands tied be hit his back. Not only did he have to deliver on the park for many a month he had to rally the fans to get behind the club and the charlatans who were allegedly running it.
If we had not attended in the numbers we did it could have went bust again.
We would have been in junior football if some had their way.
Ally not the best manager but forever a legend.
When we unfurl 55 king McCoist all the real money men who stood side by side and rid the club of Ashley white Stockbridge et al should be guests of honour.
We owe them a great debt of gratitude.

02 Dec 2020 12:11:49
BetFred Scots Premier, Rangers 1/ 4
Celtic 11/ 4,i know it doesn't mean 55 is a cert but those odds are a reflection on the way Stevie G is going about his business, and the bookies are very rarely wrong. Keep it up Rangers.
Get it up Celtic.

02 Dec 2020 14:09:47
For once I hope the bookies are right.

02 Dec 2020 11:53:24
This should be an interesting poll ED, if you would be so kind to run for me ๐Ÿ‘
After that fantastic dave king gesture yesterday, my poll should read, who do the rangers supporters think is the better/ more
appropriate deemed rangers legend dave king ๐Ÿ‘‘ or david murray? ๐Ÿค” Cheers ED, as usual would be very much appreciated pal ๐Ÿ‘.

{Ed033's Note -

Rangers Legend poll

02 Dec 2020 12:11:10
I would vote for Supercoop if you were on the list SGL.

A legend above all others .

02 Dec 2020 12:14:08
Sgl in my opinion Dave king wins but Iโ€™ll never forget what David Murray done for the club and also what he contributed to the club good and bad ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 12:37:58
See to be honest SGL, polls like this are a waste of time mate. There's no way a true figure can be ascertained due to fans from other sites hijacking the poll, so a true reflection of Rangers fans opinions can not be collated.
Any Celtic fan who hijack this poll are going to vote for Murray.
I can understand your sentiment, however, it's will not bring you the desired result, mate!

02 Dec 2020 12:51:39
I'm not going to be a hypocrite, I loved every second of David Murray's tenure. Winning 9iar, buying players for fun, European nights, the list is long! However, due to the situation we found ourselves in, and where we've been, Dave King will be the one to be held in higher regard.

02 Dec 2020 12:53:22
I agree with you bgate w๐Ÿ‘Dave king for me gets my vote and i'll tell you why. Dave king ๐Ÿ‘‘ when he invested his first ยฃ20million, i think in the millennium year was a very generous gesture at that particular time. He also lost the lot of his ยฃ20million investment and had a big fallout with david murray over this, when murray was about to sell to that little snake ๐Ÿ/ rat ๐Ÿ€ craig the s***e ๐Ÿ’ฉ whyte ๐Ÿ˜กKing advised murray along with others i may add,
not to sell to this fishy ๐ŸŽ so called business, more like asset stripper! Murray could have stopped the sale of whyte but didn't and of course the rest was devestatingly bad history for us ๐Ÿ˜กKing tried numerous times even when whyte got in to expose him๐Ÿ‘ Murray had a very good probably first 20 years at rangers and the remaining years of his reign was not at all good IMHO ๐Ÿ‘ŽDave king and his persistence, along with others including us supporters, saved our club and that's why for me, dave king gets without a doubt my vote over david murray ๐Ÿ‘ŒI like many was left seething with david murray in the end! ๐Ÿ˜กDave king came to our rescue when in our history, we needed it most ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 15:40:51
For me it's not who's standing beside you when times are good, it's who's standing beside you when times are bad.

King is my choice!

02 Dec 2020 16:07:36
Very well said blue north. So so true.

02 Dec 2020 10:48:15
What's your thoughts on winning the double/ treble. sell moreles 15mil, borna 25 mil and kamara for 20. happy days.

02 Dec 2020 11:55:16
Wee bit ahead of yourself there mate! let's just keep on winning the games before we think about winning the league then decimating the squad!

02 Dec 2020 11:58:00
My thoughts Dava,

One game at a time and little or no slip ups this season my friend.

No chickens till eggs are hatched.

02 Dec 2020 12:01:22
Whats your thoughts on what if that mob collapsed like the b4 the league was handed to them who knows they mite have collapsed and we couldve went on to win ther 9th if we were given the chance.

02 Dec 2020 12:32:58
Whoa! Trigger, a wee bit ahead of ourselves if that's where we are going
We have won NOTHING yet. patience, it will come.

02 Dec 2020 12:57:48
Steady the buffs, Dava!
Are you the sort of guy who hasn't even got to the tickly bit on a first date, but you're already thinking about marriage, kids, a mortgage and high blood pressure? Calm down sir!

02 Dec 2020 13:41:04
First dates should come with a warning. May lead to stress, high blood pressure and financial despair ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 15:17:59
Here here coldo, i'll drink to that ๐Ÿบ.

02 Dec 2020 15:20:54
Thanks for reminding me how old I'm getting BMGH01!
I've all of the above symptoms ๐Ÿคฏ
I'd happily swap marriage, mortgage and high BP for another crack at a first date! ๐Ÿ˜‚.

02 Dec 2020 15:37:05
I wouldn't know what to do with it MPH If I ever found myself on a first date! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
Is that a good thing, or a bad thing? ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ.

02 Dec 2020 10:30:52
Wait are you saying zidane has popcorn teeth too?

02 Dec 2020 10:25:48
Every days a school who else knew Lurgan Flopp and Zinedine Zidane were related?

02 Dec 2020 10:51:55
Quite an easy one i thought. Neil lennon is from lurgan ๐Ÿค”.

02 Dec 2020 10:06:08
I know i'm one for wanting statues erected BMGH01, coldo etc, but I very much doubt that many bears will disagree with this suggestion ๐Ÿค”As we all know edmiston house has been demolished and in its place,
we're building the exciting project, of a building with a rangers museum, a sports cafe bar, rangers shop, fanzone etc within our new state of the art building ๐Ÿ‘My suggestion comes on the back of this special ranger who saved our club along with john gilligan and paul murray 5 years ago now, dave king ๐Ÿ‘‘ With his final legacy gesture announced by him yesterday, that as he always promised, he's giving club 1872 the chance to buy all his 25% shares within rangers RIFC international, which is a fantastic gesture and allowing us the rangers supporting members of club 1872 and to whoever else wishes to join, the chance to have a massive say going forward, to how our club is run, by then becoming the largest rangers shareholders ๐Ÿ‘Œ Meaning never again will we be at the mercy of those leeches who almost took our club to its grave, but for the intervention of dave king and co, who'll never be forgotten for what they did for glasgow rangers, to which i thank them from the very bottom of my heart, as they saved the club i/ we all adore! My suggestion is that at the entrance to our new rangers museum, i would want a statue of this special saviour in our history dave king ๐Ÿ‘‘ erected along with busts of the other 2 saviours of john gilligan and paul murray ๐Ÿ™Dave king/ john gilligan and paul murray's legacy/ place in our history i believe should be showcased in this way ๐Ÿค” What's other bears thoughts on this? ๐Ÿค”.

02 Dec 2020 10:27:55
agree with you coops but i think dave king being a humble man from a humble background wouldn't want this to be honest a simple plaque would suffice .

02 Dec 2020 10:27:57
SGL do you actually know who the three bears were.

02 Dec 2020 10:34:42
Absolutely agree Supercoop, well said. A statue of Dave King would be a lasting tribute to the man who brought us back from the brink and are now on the cusp of glory again. I for one will be donating to Club 1872 to help acquire the shares King is so generously selling (at a loss to him) . The man's a legend. I am 70 years old next year and at one time, I wondered if I'd ever see my beloved Rangers back at the top winning honours in my lifetime. Now I can see clearly over the horizon and have a feeling that this will be the start of a great turn and could, you never know, include a Europa League trophy in the next two or three years. Well said Supercoop and well done Dave King!

02 Dec 2020 10:39:32
I don't know If Dave King would want a statue of himself, or Paul Murray?
The way things are going, and If he can deliver the league this season, I think any notion to erect a statue will be for a certain Scouser!
Dave King was the only person who could've come in and sorted out our basket case of a club and get us back to where we belong, so for that reason alone, he will always have my gratitude! To think of the size of job that guy, and others, took on after the heart was ripped out of our club, must have been daunting. The guys have worked miracles, and deserve only praise!

02 Dec 2020 11:00:19
So that's what you're on about John25 ๐Ÿค”. I thought you were playing funny buggers trying to be smart. For the record i've always called dave king, john gilligan and paul murray the 3 bears! But of course i know who the original 3 bears were, ie. douglas park, the 2 George's, letham and taylor ๐Ÿ‘I just couldn't understand your drive on this pal TBH ๐Ÿค”I'm a shareholder of 40 odd years, did you think for a minute i don't know or something? ๐Ÿค”.

02 Dec 2020 11:49:19
Lol u r only one that calls rest three bears pmsl. Hereโ€™s me thinking you knew all about our club.
Iโ€™ve never heard anyone else call Murray or gilligan one off the three bears.

02 Dec 2020 12:26:30
Dave King deserves a statue๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 13:00:15
I don't care John25,I call them the 3 bears as well as the originals. You were trying to be smart calling me out, didn't work pal๐Ÿ‘I'm p*****g myself laughing ๐Ÿ˜We've all got our own minds and thoughts my friend and probably all have from time to time called players, manager's etc different names ๐Ÿค” That's what makes the world go round! I sometimes get negative comments on here about calling fellow supporters out and trying to be high and mighty at times and i do at times, but so do you John25 ๐Ÿค”.

02 Dec 2020 13:39:30
No I was not. I find it incredible that u choose to rewrite our history. The three bears are park, leatham and Taylor. Everyone knows king was not one off the three bears
Off course I will call out anyone who so totally portrays incorrect rubbish
U right absolute nonsense wanting your three bears statues outside the museum, not one off them are were one off the three bears.
What a slap in the face to park, Taylor leatham who done more than most to safe our great club.

02 Dec 2020 13:42:52
That's the beauty of this page and being football fans coop๐Ÿ‘.

02 Dec 2020 14:24:42
SGL, stop digging!

Everyone makes a mistake or has a slip of the tongue from time to time so no point attempting to backtrack.

BTW, any idea who Goldilocks is?

Its for a fabulous cause and of course any contribution would be very much appreciated by the glasgow south west foodbank charity ๐Ÿ‘Its a great feeling for me personally to donate to this wonderful charity and the great work they undertake, to help the much less fortunate and the needy ๐Ÿ™I've just donated BMGH01 ๐Ÿ‘

02 Dec 2020 07:53:28
Nice wee tweet on the uefa Twitter account regarding our captain ๐Ÿ˜
With players and fans from across the country praising his performances
Tav must be a happy chappy seeing this and totally deserves all plaudits aimed his way. Long may it continue some silverware will top off his season him and the team definitely deserve it this year with the way there playing across the board in all competitions ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š.

02 Dec 2020 08:42:03
! Susan Boyle is to take over fron Lennon as, unlike him, she's never been pumped at home or away.

02 Dec 2020 09:35:33
That really made me laugh. Appeals to my sense of humour ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
Poor wee Susan.

02 Dec 2020 11:05:10
She got pumped in the final of Britain's Got Talent, Diversity pumped her.
