Your a wee pest miko. we were all told by you lot that rangers would go out of business in sept, then nov, when now? It doesn't take much to amuse you, as we can all see from your "joke" posts. so please fill me in on what you are all laughing at...your goalkeeper and back 4? Your team being 4 pts behind the champions? The 4-2 pumping at ibrox earlier in the season? Your captain sh####g himself infront of 25,000 fans at parkhead the other night? Your managers smelly trackies?? J1985

Got to say, I'll admit I've been a bit naive and blinkered to Whyte and his methods. Just didn't want to give in to alarm bells to early but I've got to accept now he's a shady f**cker. That said, I've genuinely no fears about us going to the wall but I'd rather someone else was at the helm.
Regardless, we could drop to the junior leagues and I'd still follow follow!

I haven't heard anything new this week - the accounts are not signed off, These are results that were drawn up under the old regime AND we have 4 Months before the 31st of March deadline.
Craig Whyte Admits he was banned, - Eh if I remember correctly he did not contest this, he said there was a reason for it, he will however contest that he "controlled another Company" whilst under that ban- if he can prove that he did not, the BBC are in a spot of bother.

Hi guys
We really need full points from every game in December!! Some regular starters have to start showing up I.e Whittaker, Davis, edu!!! Need to start building momentum again!
Believable6
Unbelievable0
I actually think Whittaker has done quite well the last few games. Davis has been terrible and I agree he needs to step up. Realistically, whilst it would be nice to win every game in December, we don't need to win every game and we are at least seven points clear for the new year.
GovanFR

I think Edu needs to be taken out of the team as he's scared of the resposibility of playing for Rangers. I think he's be a decent player at a club with less pressure. The rest need to up their game
Baybear

I think Edu was performing well until McCulloch came back into the team. I think these two should be competing for the one position not playing together. I agree the rest need to up their game esp Davis & Jela.

Team I think we will go with tomorrow;
McGregor
Whittaker Perry Goian Broadfoot
Aluko Davis Edu Wylde
Jelavic Lafferty
Relatively strong team, I think McCoist will play Perry over Bartley, once Bocanegra and Papac are back it's quite a strong team. I fully expect he will start Wylde because he was talking about missing left footed players last weekend, hope Aluko starts he looks promising.

Agree2

You are spot on with the team GovanFR what Ally will go with. But the only change I would make is move Whittaker to LB and put McMillien at RB if fit. If McMillen is injured Ally should move Whittaker to LB and Broadfoot to RB. We can all see he struggles at LB big time.

I agree FF81, I would prefer Whittaker at LB, he can use his left foot unlike Broadfoot meaning the width wouldn't be sucked out the team. With Wylde back at least we have some natural left width and hopefully Aluko on the right.

Ed001 how do you fancy England's chances in Euro 2012? I think England got the easiest group don't you think? Teams to qualify from the groups I think. Group A. Poland & Russia. Group B. Netherlands & Germany. Group C. Spain & Croatia. Group D. England & Ukraine. I think Spain will win Euro 2012. Germany are the dark horses. What I've seen of them they could beat any team on their day so it's a tricky one.
Followfollow81 {Ed001's Note - Group A was the easiest group I thought, but I might have fallen asleep and missed a team being drawn. England should get through the group, but they suffer from arrogance and poor management. I actually think they will struggle. I am with you, Germany and Spain are the two strongest teams, though I wouldn't call Germany a dark horse, they are far too good for that. Holland are in with a shot too. I think it will be one of those three, no other team is anywhere near them in terms of quality.}
Believable7
Unbelievable0
I agree Ed with you about Holland. Holland are a physical team and play hard. So I think the yellow card and red cards they will pick up will harm their chances. Key players missing important games.
Followfollow81
Agree6
Disagree1
I think there's no easy group for England because as they've proved time and time again they are sh!te.
There seems to be a bit of a misconception that they are one of the top sides. Is this not just because on paper they have some quality individuals who play in Europes self confessed 'best league'. The fact is, these players are greatly complimented by some of Europes best players at club level and as a team England have no great harmony or team spirit. This along with the fact that John Terry is a W**K is why England will struggle. Still, I'd rather Scotland were there to struggle than be sitting at home to think again!
Baybear
Agree0

Their players are also the most over-rated in world football at any point in time as a general rule.
The Germans are on another planet. Spain can be a bit insipid. Holland a bit over-rated also. Lucky at the world cup. Shower of hatchet-men really and Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben. None of them would get near that '88 team.

Can we not do anything right? If it's true regarding financial results not being signed off by an independant auditor, stipulated by UEFA, then C Whyte will nead to take a long hard look at himself.
Rangers have been going from bad press to bad press now for the last 4 / 5 years or so and is now becoming pathetic. Albeit not all down to C Whyte since he's only been there for 6 months.
We used to do all or business behind closed doors with good PR the norm at Ibrox. Now it seems that we can't even manage a simple task of getting the books ratified, as instructed by UEFA.
Come on Rangers, this is not good enough. In all honesty it's pathetic.

forget about the tax case bears, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it and no-one knows the outcome. I'm not burying my head in the sand, but i'm a fan not the owner so my only concern is whats happening on the pitch.
I never understand how edu gets a game but he is fast so if he must play put him in a defensive midfield role and let davis, wylde whittaker mckay and aluko/fleck play in front.
Once again, the scouts have got us good defenders in bocanegra and goian and we've been unlucky with the injuries to papac and wallace so we've been unbalanced the last few weeks.
Upfront, theres only laffery and jelavic so i'd like a striker for xmas santa please, someone hard working with pace will do, not a big name.
Finally, if we do sell jelavic or davis or both, so be it. We moved on after laudrup, gazza, van bronkhurst, mccoist etc and we'll move on again. The big thing for me is that i support the gers, not jelavic, davis, david murray or craig white, i hope they do the business but either way i'm watching rangers and hoping they win, i've seen seasons where we won nothing yet in these 'disasterous' times we've won the last three leagues. in terms of europe, apart from manchester, and the first year of the champions league we've not really done well for 30 yrs, don't let the tabloids stories of doom and gloom get you down.
i'm hoping we pump dumfermline by 5 tomorrow

Aye its alright to say you support the gers with blinkers on and you dont care who the owner is or the players etc. however does it not bother you that you go out and do a job for a few hundred a week and you got useless pish like lafferty broadfoot edu davis davie weir etc etc becoming millionaires through your money paying for them when they are useless footballers. Owners telling you they have to severley cut costs but still want to charge you season tickets as if gazza and laudrup were still playing. why if the quality on show is so poor are we still paying these players 10 times more than the scandanavian coutries or other european teams who do a lot better than us but for a lot less wages. i dont mean disrespect and dont take it the wrong way but its fans like you who quite rightly moan when walter wanted tio bring kenny miller back against the wishes of the supporters but two weeks later your cheering him instead of sticking to your guns. or you just accept that the quality is getting poorer and do nothing about it. the fans are the real power and we should not just accept it.
Agree2
Disagree0
With all due respect Baz it's not just the tax cases that worry me.Its the whole financial situation.Even if we win the cases we are still in dire straits. You say forget about it but why should we,it is our club's problem which makes it us fans problem as well.Too many people on here, not a dig at you baz,are too quick to tow the party line and say everything is great,no player will be sold etc etc.I'm afraid it's all bulls**t,I think at least one of our top players will be sold in January to help fund even the running costs of the club, it is that dire.I'm not happy about this but I would sacrifice any player and even the league title to secure the longterm future of our great club.We are in very stormy waters financially, any one who say otherwise are deluding themselves. As fans we should at least be able to discuss theses things without getting shot down or accused of being a Timothy,or even worse your support and loyalty questioned.I will always love the Gers,I just want to make sure there is a club to support when this is all sorted out.Whyte has warned us of the financial plight and yet some fans still deny it.

Edu is fast? Are u joking me?
Agree1

First of all, i'm not a fan of edu but he is the fastest player currently at ibrox, And to the other replies, you're all right too. Be passionate but base it on facts, there is a coy game being played here to limit the damage of the tax case and remember, white didn't get us in this mess, he's trying to sort it out. Players will be sold if the price is right, not if some turkish team offers 500k and in the market we survive in, its necessary. Larkyjim, i appreciate your comments mate. The financial worries are a global thing in every industry, why wouldn't it affect us too ?
I welcomed Kenny miller too, and would have welcomed him back in the summer but i've watched Edu for a long time and apart from pace, i just don't see how he gets in the team ahead of fleck even.
Cheers for the responses fellow bears
Reality is what we experience, not what we think is going to happen or read in the papers (like goodwillie will definately go to rangers- gutter press, summer 2011)

Bears I know you are all in denial over tax issues and money problems at Ibrox, well maybe you will listen to senior partner at Ernst and Young who are experts on auditing accounts. Their summing up is
No auditor will sign off accounts unless they are satisfied business is a going concern. If there is an event likely to jepardise this, the auditors will want clarification and assurances before signing accounts as verified.
Ernst and Young believe any auditor will wait until Tax Case findings are out before making any decisions over signing off accoints. Tax case resumes in January but might not issue findings until 2 months after this.
But Rangers MUST have audited accounts by January for SFA and by March for UEFA.

I understand exactly the Sh*t financially we are in but this is not only Rangers problem but the whole Game in Scotland in General.
Plus going on and on and on about it is pointless when we should be getting behind McCoist and the players...We knew the situation was bad before Whyte took over, If you told me in January that by the following December we'd have won the league (2010-11), kept the core of the team, added 8 new faces, and were 4 points ahead of Celtic before the second old firm game, but We'd still have the Tax Case hanging over us...You trying to tell me you wouldn't be on this site flapping yer gums about "burying your head in the sand" "your dreaming" cause I'd be biting hands off for a scenario like this.
Comments like - "Yeah good idea look the other way" is a typical non conjusive answer in where you have no idea, or sense of what is going on on behind the doors of ibrox.. Its easy to sit on your PC and batter away one line answers.
From a business view, he's done well... All the doubters are trying to stir it up by bringing up his past, because they know he is doing job well. (Do you think abramovich, et al have squeeky clean backgrounds?)
Whyte may or may not be worth a Billion in businesses and assets, he certainly doesn't have that kind money, he may have his hands tied in terms of expenditure and cutting costs due to the limits of income to the scottish game. But I'll tell you this, Jelavic, McGregor, Bocanegra, Goian, Naismith, Davis, Wallace, and countless others would be playing there football elsewhere if it wanst for Whyte...
So aye, come ahead with your witty banter on the champions page, but at least make it constructive and worth a response

In whyte we trust eh ?
What happened to that ? This is nothing new, maybe rangers fans are taking note of what Celtic fans said on here about whyte before but now there starting to believe it? Ring fenced money by the old board ? Banned as director? Etc all said on here before but got shot down with pee pee of aye 4 in a row bla bla bla. Even reading stv last night the Indian boys hardly trained with the 1st team cause of the killie game then the hamburg game? It was their only time they could make it yes but why not just bring them over in the summer for a better look at them ? Aluko paying his way into rangers ? Whyte claiming his record speaks for it self ? The BBC even tell you he was banned as a director & for 1 of many reasons whyte bans the BBC ?
And to top it of January is round the corner fire sale if it all goes boo boo he walks away STILL a millionaire.

Just seen that Yannick Djalo(played against us with Sporting Lisbon) is joining Villa on loan.
He was available. He would have been a decent addition. Not outstanding but would have gave us more options in attack and surely better than Healy and Lafferty!

What's your point. Messi would also give Rangers more options. Unknowns from India and second class players from Aberdeen are the level that Rangers are now operating in.

My granny would be better than that useless lafferty. as for healy thats just a waste of a wage.

How is healy useless he has played like 10 games with only 5-10 min left in the game so if maby he started a couple of games he might score some goals

WTF is going on at Ibrox? The accounts not signed off by an auditor means we cant get euro license - sort it our now Whyte. Also if you read the accounts, yes the debt is down to 14m, I thought the debt was paid in full? also why do we have 49m debt for next year??? where has this came from?????? I was optimistic and giving whyte the benefit of the doubt but now this?
We will still win the league but what is the poihnt with no european footy?

They aren't required to be signed of at this period dumbass, stop believing everything you read. 49m is the potential tax case if we lose, signed accounts to be produced by end of march before which we wil know outcome, FFS get a grip of yourself

It says we have three months to comply, what annoys me is just get it done and stop it dragging our club through the media our club is losing respect quickly.

In all of Rangers history they have never published a set of unaudited accounts and no credible buisness would do this either.
Leaving aside any potential irregularities that may be in the accounts, why would Rangers want to publish unaudited accounts now when they don't have to and draw this negative attention to themselves. This in itself questions the ability of those running the club.

It is now being said that if we don't have our accounts signed off, we will not gain our license to play in Europe. We have spiralling debt, tax case, Whyte under investigation. He paid £1 for the privellage. Where the F**K is the investigation into how and why MURRAY got us into all of this mess in the first place ? The man who would "only sell to anyone who would take the club forward" ! ALL of this is his doing and Whyte, agenda or not, has picked up the baton and is now being left hung out to dry. If he has a past that is worthy of investigation, what was the point of all the due dilligance and the months of toing and frowing before he actually took the reigns ? How much did the old board know about this man before they all eventually parted company with Rangers fc ? M.Bain ? What was his role in the mess we are apparrantly in ? Where is this going and where and when is it all going to end ? NOTHING is clear, and NOTHING makes any sense, it is all very concerning and I just want clarity and an end to this farce that has turned the club I have grown up with, followed and loved for the best part of my 48 years. I am just totally lost in all of this now, and we need someone to come out and tell us we are okay, or we are f****d ! AndyPandy63

What do you mean gash again. We are gash but we are better than the other gash teams in Scotland. I think you will find that most Gers fans are Gers fans for life, unlike the manky mob clinging on to other clubs all over the place. Liverpool and that other dodgy mob playing in the cheese and onion strip.

I think that his loyalty to the manky mob should be questioned or maybe it's because there's tumble weed going through the dark side's site as it's been 3 year since they caught glimpse of the SPL trophy.
I can't wait til we win our tax case followed by our league so as heed the baw Miko can do one and gee us some peace.
