well that's game 2 and I am delighted warburton has done more in a short time than macoist did in his whole tenure football is ecellent fitness better than any time in years players who could not get a game playing well and a squad of workers led by honest hard working management team I think even ally and billy will agree with that good times ahead

Believable7 Unbelievable2

War burton is concentrating on football. He is not going on about ST's, shares, who said what's or anything else to do with officials, ownership or beaurocracy and directors. Football and team management was what he was brought in to do and has made a positive start.

BIGWULL, My doubts are not with our manager and his abilities, as this is one thing Dk got correct. With Mr. Warburton you get what he says, unfortunately Dk has not stood by what HE stated.
As you say our team has shown more skill, passion, organisation and fitness than they have in the past 3 years.
Looking forward to watching our team and talking about the football. With Dk, I live in hope and that is my final comment on that subject. [ I hope.]

It's still early days on Dave King, did people expect 15million to be spent on players in the championship? there is a lot being fixed behind closed doors.

03 Aug 2015 10:45:09
billy b how can u say that king and the board have provided the funds to bring the players in also in the short time they have been in power they are gradually getting to grips with everything including ashley and mysterious share holders they put £8.5 m in between them what more do u want

03 Aug 2015 12:00:04
BIGWULL, NO COMMENT.

Agree1 Disagree3

03 Aug 2015 15:22:57
billy b what I have posted is factul would have rather ashley and co were at the helm because that is the only alternative to what we have as I have said many times before I was not a king supporter but so far they are doing all the right things including improving clubs sadly depleted reputation and at last we are not at war with any of the governing bodies

No complaints today watching a fit young team entertaining the crowd, yes we should have scored more but the main thing I liked was players playing and attacking for 90 min, you know I can't remember the last time I've seen that with Rangers!

Pretty hard to play football when your getting kicked every time u touch the ball, ref had a shocker!

02 Aug 2015 18:37:01
Another great result today and i'm planning on going to a few more games this year with my old man if we can all make a little effort to squeeze in another couple of games each then ibrox will be back to its bouncy best!

Ps. Anyone know/have any links where I can see todays goals?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

02 Aug 2015 19:30:02
I saw a video on the Facebook page 'fans of Glasgow Rangers' which had all the goals- hope you find it

Agree1 Disagree1

02 Aug 2015 18:32:25
Today I thought the ref had a terrible game Peterhead always playing the player rather than the ball but on a happier note didn't think they had a clear shot on goal from open play and if players had taken there chances a cricket score which is a marked improvement on the last time we met

Believable4 Unbelievable1

02 Aug 2015 18:19:10
What a great performance today couldn't fault a single player passed well worked really hard best performance in a long long time we r on our way back bears let's start packing the stadium out again guys show warburton a real ibrox experience

That's it world beaters again. You beat Peterhead, the jail could probably pull a better team together

02 Aug 2015 20:04:54
FU, mate!

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Aug 2015 20:14:38
Wouldn't say world beaters but when you consider the dross served to us in the last few years its a marked improvement we struggled to get going when we played them before under ally with the usual play the player and no protection from the ref thought todays result was good we need a Steven davis in the middle of the park And when you consider only three competitive games under them I'm pleased and happy with the progress and I think when this team clicks in the championship teams will struggle against us

Why,are you familiar with their jail team?

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Aug 2015 21:45:14
There's only one thing Peterhead is known for and it ain't football so rejoice on this famous victory. Only a team to finance a stadium to repair and keep clean. achieve that and you might get a crack at the spl next season. Good luck

02 Aug 2015 22:14:31

FU, it's a banter page and you have elected to sign on to it so you are entitled to your opinions. Sadly, you have obviously not joined it as a supporter or even someone neutral or otherwise, who offers an educated discussion forum. I feel sorry for you if those previous comments made with the obvious intent of upsetting genuine supporters is what makes you happy.
At least there are plenty of others who contribute, negatively and positively, to the banter here which creates discussion, fun and intelligent viewpoints.
Your sign on name speaks volumes about your character and personality.
Oh, and if you plan on responding to this post in your own articulate way, I shouldn't bother as I will neither bite nor get upset enough to continue any further comments on anything you choose to post.

i thought we played far better in second half although we missed a lot of chances tavernier looks to be the real deal there was more movement today than the whole of macoist era and everyone is fit and can put shift in and some good passing moves all in all happy crowd was 25000 thought it would be a bit better upwards and onwards

Can't believe how dirty Ibrox is looking. As much as it needs money thrown at it to fix it properly, there are so many little things that could make it look better. The blue track is full of mold and dirt, get the pressure washer out! The white boards beside the track - mankey with dirt and dust, get the youth team in with a bucket and sponge and give it a wipe. Ibrox is the pride and joy of Rangers, it should look like it. I understand $$ is tight at the moment, but these are little things that won't cost a thing.

Think you will find its the owners job to maintain the property, I'm still convinced someone else owns Rangers property as we have had no proof yet. I think Murray still owns it and Murray park as its names no been changed yet and doubt Murray sold it all for £1

Biggwull

The attendance does not concern me as this game was not covered by season ticket, let's see the attendance on Friday against ST Mirren.

As for the performance, yes we were slow to start off, but the players are still to gell into a team and I am very positive for this season I was impressed with the linking play by McKay,Tarvenier, Halliday,Wallace and Waghorn.

I think we could have a good team here and a good season. 9 goals in two games so far. last season we would be lucky to get 2 goals in 9 games

02 Aug 2015 17:18:09
Hahaha from a guy not at the game! c'mon big fella, Sunday afternoon raining first cup game at home, decent crowed, and the football was brilliant, that boy smith in goal was the best player on the park, kept the score down to just 3, should've been 6 or more! Well down Rangers and DW & MW again, looking more & more forward to Friday now when hopefully teams will come and have a go, football works both ways! 2 games 9 goals for 2 conceded, brilliant.

02 Aug 2015 17:34:06

Let's keep things in perspective. I'm seeing a lot more organisation and slowly seeing the ability to change things around on the park if plan A is stumbling. Early days yet but big difference in the atmosphere compared to under Ally

Really surprised to see Darren McGregor not even on bench today, felt last year he was one of the few who did ok. Hope it is minor knock and not a sign that it means Zaliukas is rated in front of him.

does anyone know how the banning of Chris McLaughlin and then the BBC saying no one will be sent to Ibrox will impact on the club finances. Does this also apply to ALBA think they would have a few of our games on

Believable0 Unbelievable1

02 Aug 2015 12:36:01

02 Aug 2015 22:08:49
It will have an impact on our reputation. It reflects badly on us when we ban journalists because we don't like what they write about us.

First ever post - I still think we need a big commanding centre half and i'd love to see Clark & Waghorn given time to settle as a pairing playing in either a 3-5-2 or a straight 4-4-2 formation with Miller as their mentor from the bench. As a keeper myself I've never ever been convinced with Cammy Bell & would like to see some decent quality competition brought in for big Wes. Eustace as skipper will be good move though.
