With Walter and Ally giving Mr Mather glowing references just last week this latest move must force their hand. Will they come out in support of him or were they telling lies to keep on-side with the fans. The only people who have not done well out of all this is the fans.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Get if thru your thick head mate, ally and Walter do not care about the fans! All they care about is how much they can bleed out of the club! Judas would be a good name for the pair of them! And anyone who thinks differently needs to get their heads out of the sand!
Charlees back, and he is not happy lol. Need to sell more season tickets! A few more defiant speeches to the knuckle draggers who haven't already humped on board will surely hear the battle call from Charlie! Maybe Mr Mathers demands for transperancy just weren't enough! Surely stirred some of the low lifes on here up though didn't it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Green is coming back to protect his investment. He will not be welcomed back but according to the Herald £12 million of the £22 million share issue from December last year has been spent to plug the gap of what the club can afford and what spending wee Ally wants to secure his job by successive promotions. He and Craig Mather have gone too far and the financial wreck that is Rangers is accelerating to another insolvency event. To operate at the level the fans of the club expect with the huge running costs of Murray Park and Ibrox the footballing side needed to be intelligently built up with good young coaches spotting good young cheap talent with potentially high sell on values. The spend for success policy of McCoist is alarming Green and shareholders from the City who have seen their investment fall through the floor.
The heads in the sand fans of "Super Ally" shouting down any fan with a grain of grey matter worrying about costs will still be in denial until insolvency two happens. Now into August and still no accounts- problems what problems? I think we are about to find out the level of the problem. Just a guess and I really hope it's wrong but cannot see any other explanation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith and McCoist are in ideal positions to keep us informed, and have had long enough to do it, their silence speaks volumes! What experience do either of them have at their new jobs? absolutely none, their only value to Whyte, Green etc is that 50%+ Rangers supporters will believe every word they say and will buy shares and season tickets, while those of us with concerns are ignored.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 agree with most of your post but has any other club released their accounts so is that really a problem the now and also if we are being shafted again then why bring in different directors and get rid of the ones who's supposed to be greedy and robbing us but green being back on the payroll literally 8 weeks after stepping down is a joke the only way we would have got answers is if the 33k hadn't renewed their st so strap ourselves in is gonae be another bumpy ride

Agree0 Disagree0

This boardroom merry-go-round is expensive, as everyone syanding down gets huge payoffs ( cept imram - disgraced and malcolm with honour )

boardroom leaks kill club, mcmurdo called greens returm but has been in cahoots with green and co, as he believes thier spin

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with most of each post but here's a question to the outraged:
What are you actually doing to force change? I've said before, no good bumping gums on here, do something of significance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont know what mather done wrong what can ally say about mather high salary if tht why murrays unhappy lol and murray didn't exactly look after the oldco rangers i'm not saying that they might not have a case and I don't trust any of them 100% but not gunna jump on mather when I don't know what's going on was hoping to just enjoy the football this year

What are your thoughts on the requisition of general meeting of shareholders for resolutions to remove Craig Mather and two others as directors and appoint Paul Murray and Frank Blin as directors?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

02 Aug 2013 20:20:53
Publicity stunt. Chuck still has the support of most shareholders. If he didn't Malcolm Murray would still be in a job.

I know you cannot always believe what Radio Clyde and particularly Hugh Keevins have to say, but on tonight's show he said that whilst on the pre season tour in Germany he sat down with both Walter and Ally, who both told him Mathers was a "great guy and someone we can work with"
a lot of two faced comments all over Ibrox these days. I feel sorry for the genuine fans who do not really know who to trust and who, if anybody, is telling the truth. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone help me out here. Much as I believe Paul murray has the club's interest at heart. 1' he never fought hard enough and 2 is he not banned due to his previous with oldco? Confused.

Agree0 Disagree0

3) think he left before went into admin

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 he was there inlast 5 years, so would qualify for director ban IF action is taken, in meantime he can return

remember d&p did not allow anyone but green to buy, green was whytes chosen one, and green supposedlystuffed whyte, yet is on tape with whyte talking about visit to eufa well after buyout and stich up?

soneone is fighting green, trying to boost board with experience and guss this is smith. so sound good ploy

we just need accounts audited and some transparency. smith gets that and he's half way there, half way out of darkness.

the board of rangers confirm on the 1 of August it received a notice of requisitioning a general meeting of shareholders (the requisition )
the requisition put forward the resolutions for the removal of Craig mathers, Brian Stockbridge and Bryan smart as directors of the company and the appointment of Paul Murray and frank blin as the directors of the company
the board is verifying whether the requisition is properly constituted and further announcements will be made as appropriate.
so by the sounds of this everybody associated with Charles green are being removed from the board by the majority of shareholders so why is green coming back

Believable0 Unbelievable0

@op you answered your own question. The reason Charlie is back is to protect his own interest. The notice was put in on the 1st August by shareholders represented by Paul Murray and Frank Blin to the board and all of a sudden Charlie is back the next day 2nd August. Not that hard to work out.

Just heard that Colin McAdam has died aged 61.
Condolences to his brother Tom and rest of his family. RIP Colin. Timalloy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A great pro and a geat guy too by all accounts. Far too young to die. RIP.

Agree0 Disagree0

R. I. P colin great teacher and a quality guy my heart felt condolences to his family and friends

Agree0 Disagree0

Feed the Bear, he would score at one end then play the rest of the game at centre half. In those days we would end up being beaten 3-1 by Airdrie. Condolencies to his family, a great big player.

Charles Green leaves until all the season tickets are purchased? I'd encourage everybody to do a Credit Card 'charge back' from their bank and get their money back.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

02 Aug 2013 13:46:32
Chuck Green 'returns' to Ibrox as a consultant! Did anyone believe he had really went anywhere in the first place?
Honestly, you couldnae make it up

They must think our heids are zipped up the back

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Spot on Baybear - reading the announcement he is in post to 'promote Rangers interests and advise on capital structure being the key. There is an army of consultants out there who can advise on corporate structure and you cannot argue Green is better than all of them - given Green's toxic brand the only explanation of this appointment is that it was forced on the club. Makes Mather look very weak.

In light of Charles Green returning as a "consultant" all Rangers fans are asked to pay all monies directly into his offshore bank account at "Gullible Bears. CON" Bahamas lol Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Tickeus need someone keeping an eye out for them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just in time for newcastle at the sports direct arena.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's just disgusting to be honest. It was obvious that he was still in the background but I had hoped at least he would just stay in the background.
We could really do without his 'casual racism' and clumsy straight talking Yorkshireman routine. However, the man is just one of many who will feast at the Ibrox table until there is nothing left. His presence will continue to undermine our club and our attempts to get back on our feet.
I would again urge all Rangers supporters to join the RST and push for change. unless someone else has a better idea?
Alternatively we could continue to ignore the obvious, instead focusing on who gets the biggest attendance of the season and how fancy our new WiFi system is going to be.

Apologies again, sarcasm is merely a disguise for my outright anger.

Agree0 Disagree0

@baybear I don't mean to be funny but I reckon the majority of your fans do have their heads zipped up the back! I know you have been vocal in your thoughts but guys like chris graham blame everyone else but the folk in charge. I personally think the way you fans are treated is a joke but until someone makes a stand against the suits then I'm afraid these guys will just keep taking the p!ss. All this 'we don't do walking away' crap has played right in to their hands and they know it! since Craig whyte left I'm afraid fans must take some a lot of the blame.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's an embraasment, end off, Walter must've known.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus here we go again Ticketus have no association with the Newco.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye Baybear I warned myself once the season ticket money was in that the spivs would do as they liked.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally start shining the tip of your nose because it's going in for a 2nd time. Walter and Ally are taking and saying nothing!

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny how he leaves at the end of the season and comes back at the start of the season. How many ST are sold at ibrox? They have made it look like green is away come on in your in safe hands get the season ticket money in then green is back. How much meat is left on the bone now? I always believed new rangers would struggle to get to spl level and the thought of a another admin was close but now green is back, more back stabbing happening there than than the whole of the west of Scotland. Brave face it all you want shhit has now hit the carpet & it's not coming off

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought Charles green was writing a "warts an all" book about what he say and did at rangers (was on an interview on talksh1t radio)
Interview was done after he'd resigned and he said book was being done an due to be released soon.
I wonder if this was another untruth?

Agree0 Disagree0

@ baybear mate the rst have done f*ck aw so far why would they break their silence now they and the rest of groups are a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Aug 2013 20:50:54
He was just waiting for the heads in the sand boys to talk larky bear and a few others into buying season tickets then he came back in a flash. He didn't go anywhere same as whyte

Agree0 Disagree0

The bold Charlie knew season ticket sales wouldn't go well whilst he was still on the scene, solution was for him to take a wee holiday, season tickets are sold, Charlie returns for his bite of the pie, Charlie makes lots more money at the expense of those paying for season tickets. oh, and so do Wally and Atty!
Finbar

Agree0 Disagree0

@13- Can't totally dispute that sentiment mate but I've made the point many times before; join up and have a voice. What other alternative do you suggest? We had our chance with season ticket power and yet again we went with our heart, me included. Held out a bit longer than most but ultimately I'm just another who has relinquished power out of a mix of love and fear. We have made ourselves impotent yet again and must shoulder some responsibility. How many more times are we going to let ourselves be mugged off?

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith and McCoist are a disgrace, they are in this up to their necks, I hope this is over soon and ALL of these charlatans get their just desserts, especially McCoist, how the mighty have fallen, I hope they made it worth his while, from boyhood hero to absolute zero!

Agree0 Disagree0

What have Smith and Ally actually done wrong here? (Not really sure what they are doing anyway). I can't believe they are deliberately milking your club. Ally (may not be the best manager) is plodding along on the football side and Smith is doing a PR job. Both doing what is expected of them. However, the boardroom chaos is another matter.

if we cannot afford to bring in Pandaza due to our budget, can someone tell me what point is there on bringing in trialists like the two from England?

Remember from January we can enter the transfer market (providing we have funds then ) so what is Ally's panic for?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The trialists have the same agent as mohsni. Coincidence?

Agree0 Disagree0

Op - if we can't afford players for free, how are we going to be in the transfer market come january?

It appears that what we are trying to do is sign the best free transfers we can on a salary to meet the clubs wage structure,
looks like pandza is outside of what we can afford to pay so we look elsewhere,

why buy in Jan if we can get players for free in aug?

JG

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 if the agent has told ally that he has two ex premier league players out of contract, why not take a look at them?

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Aug 2013 21:03:47
JG if their signing for free there will be a signing on fee or higher wage demands as they didn't demand a transfer fee. Agents don't work for free and nobody know one that's not a sh1t

Reports are suggesting that our new defensive midfielder Arnold peralta is very like our ex Italian midfielder rino gattuso in style with his aggressive, combative style of play, if peralta is anywhere near as good as gattuso was I'd be over the moon, because gattuso on his day was at one point the best defensive midfielder in the world, he had the best engine I'd ever seen in any defensive midfielder, I loved gattuso when he was with rangers, what do you think guys?BIG RAM!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would say durrant was a better midfielder before his injury. but gattusso was different gravy aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

Best defensive midfielder in the world? Get a grip mate. Good but no where hear that.

Agree0 Disagree0

He did captain a World Cup winning Italian side. Comes close in my opinion.
GBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

@3/ Captain? Think again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did anyone actually watch Gattuso play for rangers or do we just talk about the player he became? I don't remember him being great for rangers and I am glad he has now retired that I don't need to read that he's "coming home"

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 saw him many times and he held his own in our era of great signings Laudrup and Butcher plus home greats like Goram, Durrant and Ally. he put the shift in of 2 players which is exactly the way he played for AC Milan and Italy just by then he was finished article. I mind one 'FRIENDLY' against Liverpool he took on Ruddock with some very hard tackling and came out of it with Ruddocks respect after match. if only we had another like him now. george

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would you need a defensive midfielder in the league your playing in?

Agree0 Disagree0

What about Ian Black, maybe Super Ally feels we need to shore up midfield in a higher league, because he'll stick with 1 up front, probably Daly, ahhhh another season of hopeless long ball headless chicken schoolboy football.
