RMGers, a few days ago you raged on here the following guff:

"The NOMAD was always going to be appointed because they hope to raise between £10m and £14 million in a share issue, did all you conspiracy theorist mutters actually think they would delist and miss that funding opportunity? Or were you all clutching at straws?"

That post can still be read below, dated 28 March.

Please can you come on here and show your red face, I'm sure all the mutters will be dying to see what straws you clutch at to avoid having to apologise and admit you got it wrong. This is what happens when you hero worship at the feet of a proven liar, you end up with his sh#t all over your face.

delisting is not the end of the world they can still attract investment by selling shares it will possibly be cheaper to be delisted anway

The initial money of investment will come from fans who buy season tickets. Heard the usual plumbers, joiners , glaziers give there expert opinion on AIM listing. I have adegree in Engineering and am paid well to understand complex equations , I will refrain from making any comments about AIM as I have never been and never will be interested in it other than I giving money to RF who I trust will aid and assist RFC .

What as king lied about with this nomad? He said he had one lined up and he did. It just never worked out. It wasn't down to his failings, it was down to the previous board

Agree1 Disagree5

03 Apr 2015 01:11:37
You'll have to explain that one to me James. How was it the fault of the previous board? Didn't the previous board have a NOMAD? Dave King clearly stated that he had a NOMAD lined up. That was a lie.

Paul Murray stated that we are lining up to list on the ISDX however, in order to be eligible we need at least 12 months' capital, we are living on emergency loans and therefore not eligible. Surely PM knows this. If not I am worried about his suitability.

We need to wake up, we are in the position we are now because of the current board. They were the ones who championed a boycott, they are the ones trying to appoint a convicted criminal to the chairmanship (against AIM rules).

We are walking back into oblivion. Wake up.

03 Apr 2015 01:40:21
How do you know he had one lined up? Remember allegiances with the Dallas Cowboys that a former messiah said? I agree with Pauline, blindly following anyone who makes the right noises to fool the masses!
He may have had one lined up, why did this not happen? Where is the transperancy that has been promised that your long suffering loyal, (let face it, there are none more loyal that the Rangers support!) fans have been longing for?
I am hoping that there is a long term plan here and that you all haven't been fleeced again!

02 Apr 2015 23:22:45
Pauline its a forum if you can see my red face you are even more brilliant than you think you are. We will be listed on another platform and there will be a share issue to raise between £10 and £15 million so embarrassed I am not but thanks for thinking of me, is this one of those love hate things developing? Do you fancy a drink?

Agree0 Disagree9

02 Apr 2015 23:27:30
Oh and there doesn't seem to be excrement on my face either. As I explained we will be listed because a large percentage of our shares are owned by institutions who require it. The same institutions who like me voted for change and the new Board, did you vote against it Pauline my dear? Do you own any of our shares?

Well here we go again. groundhog day anyone?
First there is a Nomad then there isn't, this transparency thing is so nice.(not) We the fans are away to do out usual and Follow follow blindly. do we ever learn? apparently not . I have no gripe with King and co have not been anti them at any point, but this is taking the proverbial. beep beep. I'm away to do an "Ally" and ask. "name the Nomad" who said it was down to the mismanagement of the old board. so we can all see the reasons in black and white and then move on. simples
How in the name of Rangers do the people we put in power think its best to give us information that they and only they feel is to be feed to us? if this is to continue then they are no better than the previous rogues. God even that Prior is saying they are at it. confused anyone??

Give them a chance Ally, Rome wasn't built in a day and all that jazz. Let's see what transpires with King, remember on day of EGM, he stated his preference, he got it.

Agree1 Disagree2

03 Apr 2015 21:14:15
Ok, don't give them a chance then.

My understanding was that the NOMAD lined up could not look at any of the business setup until after DK & ttb won the EGM.
At that point the NOMAD HAD to look at 2 things before he would agree to carry on. 1 were the current board & likely board members (king)!clear of any issue which might cause problems with AIM = answer No problem everything fine.
2 look at the business and outstanding financial situation with current contracts and see if these can be supported = answer NO THEY WERE NOT & therefore the NOMAD refused to take up the role.
This was not the current boards doing, the only contract (if there is one?) was to get McCall & black in.

There is a sh!tstorm coming and these guys are the only ones I see stepping up to try and fix it. Give them until at least the end of the season to see what comes out.

One thing I do agree with though is, the production of title deeds for Ibrox would stop some of the flak.

Pauline - just once try and say something positive!!

02 Apr 2015 19:26:27
so we have MORE negativity around the place with this share business.
If McCall can motivate our under-achievers enough to gain promotion he deserves a medal and a permanent contract after this!!
It may NOT be as damaging as it could be, but what else is going to be put in our way?
I suspect the SPFL will find reason to knock back King as"not fit and proper" after all they have kicked us from pillar to post so why stop now??

Believable9 Unbelievable12

02 Apr 2015 23:02:51
You mean the SPFL will find other reasons that his convictions for tax evasion in South Africa and bring part of the previous Rangers board that went belly up? Hmmm I bet they are really digging now aren't they!
FFs grow up and get away from this rediculous viictim and persecution mentality! You all go on about them across town but you really have to take a hard look at yourselves sometime soon and fast too!

03 Apr 2015 09:03:28
wee bill. where are these pillars to post that we have been kicked around? I need to find them fast because they appear to be a gentle pair with lots of bumpers etc all round them and my missus is away to kick me all round them when she looks at "our books" and see how much I have put into Rangers over the years. iodine anyone? NO-MAD she is going to be livid
Have to agree,,,, grow up and stop the them and us stuff when talking about Scottish Football. it was previous boards who caused the problems nothing else. and the now worrying part of that is. some of them are back,,and that SFA LOT ARE READY TO WELCOME THEM WITH OPEN ARMS.

so apparently on the rangers on tour facebook page you are not allowed a different opinion, if you want to move away from the IRA hatred of rangers, and the bigoted ways do not express that on there, you will be attacked lol

02 Apr 2015 10:59:11
What??

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2015 11:06:51
my opinion is that we as rangers fans need to stop the bigoted, sectarian ways, and if you voice this on that facebook page you will be hated for it

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2015 12:45:28
IRA hatred of rangers fans? Haha well I don't know any normal person that would like them! What an odd thing to say! No sane person agrees with bigots or sectarian people but unfortunately this is Scotland and Scottish people aren't the smartest.

Agree1 Disagree1

02 Apr 2015 12:57:28
yes cee, but do normal people walk about the streets chanting anti IRA songs? no they don't. it's pathetic people who are still caught up in the days of old, move forward for god sake. the amount of rangers fans I know that voted no purely cause it's not the rangers way. they didn't actually have a reason to vote no other than that. it's laughable. I'm not saying I voted yes, but if your going to vote on something so big atleast have a reason behind your vote(side tracked a bit) This hatred and disgust from both parties needs to be removed.

I can't believe what I read on here anymore, for the past few years all we heard was Ally Out, McDowall Out, Green Out, Ashley Out, Lambias Out, Leach Out, Somers Out, Easedales Out, Whyte Out to name a few.

Thankfully all these guys are gone with the exception of Ashley with a new board in for only 1 month and a new manager bringing fresh ideas and signs of improvement to the team yet this is still not enough, What do some people actually want, always negative?

Give these guys a chance, what did you expect in first month? we were told this would not be a quick fix. We are now beginning to find out the extent of some of the contracts and deals done by old board and Ashley and these can't simply be ripped up. Maybe some people would have been happy for the old regime and Ashley still to be pulling the strings then we would not have had a club at all to follow?

The new board have told us more in 1 month than the old board did in last 4 years. The new board are planning for next 5-7 years and beyond, did the old board do this, NO. Start supporting these guys and help get our club back to where we belong, we have been the laughing stock of Scottish Football for too long.

totally agree some of posters jist don't know what they want or when they want it there must be time given to new board and manager s macall has made a tremendous difference in a short time football is now enjoyable I am now looking forward to hearts game

02 Apr 2015 10:46:28
True. Sick of the boom and bust attitude. Long term planning is a good structure for any Buisness but it is hard love . The proof is in the pudding , enquiries for season tickets up already. I have said before and I stand by it, I am very enthusiastic for the future.

Agree2 Disagree4

02 Apr 2015 11:15:03
Agree you have been put thru the mill thses past few years but I agree that you must all give the new Board time. They will soon reveal, if the law allows, who owns the deeds of your ground and put everyones mind at rest. Until supporters can be sure that it is safe to invest in the Club again you will always have your doubters and this will effect your attendance figures. The new Board need to put you supporters fully in the picture. Divana has started very well. Hail Hail

02 Apr 2015 12:29:00
They had three years to make this plan, they have had time, and they have done nothing, and there is no plan.

When are people going to wake up to the fact that the burning nagging sensation you feel is that of being shafted. Again.

At long last rangers seem to be moving in the right direction on and off the pitch, I would like to see pressure put on Ashley, McCoist etc to stop bleeding us dry, but if we must pay them it will be worth it in the long run to get these crooks away from our club.
Whether McCall is manager next season or not at least he was appointed for football reasons unlike his predecessor by a board that want the best for Rangers unlike their predecessors. Although we still have a long way to go we are at long last on the road to recovery, a few decent signings in the summer and a top half finish assuming we go up to the SPL, or a league win if we don't and the whole McCoist fiasco will be a fading memory.

02 Apr 2015 22:44:36
the board will get time from me but what I am wee bit dispointed about is david king sayed he would invest 20 30 million when he sayed this there was no mention off phasing it out over so many years the club could do with this sort of lump sum upfront to fix all the things like scouting coaches stadium players and other areas in the club that need desperate cash injected straight away not over years quite a few fans seem to still be staying away
to get these fans back you need get them beleiving in there team again and you ain't going get them excitied phasing it over years I look forward to them dealing with ashley and hopefully they get some big investers behind them that can afford a lump sum
deposit of cash to invest in the club
