When Aribo returns to the squad does he go back into the staring 11 and push Arfield back up front? Or is the midfield stronger with Arfield in it? Think SG has an abundance of options all over the park, not to mention the Katic headache.

We played a lot more slicker and quicker without aribo slowing it up. Katic isn't a headache, he starts before any CB. 👍.

I think we'll play different players for specific games, I can see Kamara coming in for the euro game, with arfield pushed up. Katic is our best defender.

Aribo needs time to get used to the hammer throwers and physical side of Scottish football same as Barisic did, not that the referees help matters but let’s be honest if they were to try educate hammer throwers to play football ⚽️ it could only be done by awarding eleven red cards per game, for every game, for a few seasons at least until the mentality of the hammer thrower would even consider changing to a footballing mentality 😂👍.

Aribo is quality.
Goldson and Helander will always be Gerrards first choice CH's.
Interesting stat the other day that Goldson has actually won more aerial duals than Katic.

Aribo is quality and is going to be good for us. but there is a noticeable tempo difference with Arfield/ jack and Davis together. Aribo does slow play down in the way that ejaria did last year. I do think he will be great for us once he beds in though.

Where are they now - the boo boys who regularly slate our players and even question whether our manager should be sacked?
We never hear from them when we're winning.
Barisic not good enough, Tav not good enough, Morelos a liability, Stewart not good enough, same with Ojo, Aribo, even Steve Davis got the treatment when he first came back.
Barasic has come out and explained how tough it was to deal with the negativity.
No place on here for FIFA managers.
We're well on the way get behind every player no matter the result or performance.

That was right hopeless drilling in that winner against Feyenoord to net us 3 points. Not to mention his other goals, assists etc, hopeless 😀🤣 my sides are splitting.
There is tons to come from him and he is going to get better and better. In my opinion😉.

They all deserve our support when wearing our strip lads I've always said it. We can have opinions why we don't rate s certain player but pure out slaughtering them is wrong, especially the way ojo gets it on here I find it really disrespectful. Give the boy a chance he's a bit erratic at times but his numbers are good already and he will improve as season goes on.

I think that a lot of the positivity from the weekend comes from Celtic dropping points. Closing in on Celtic is what matters most.
I don’t recall slaughtering anyone at the club, simply responded to a post about SG and said if he lost the league this year by a hefty margin then shouldn’t be allowed a third attempt. Still hoping he comes good.
For the record Goldson doesn’t inspire me with any confidence and I think Steve Davis will get players player of the year.

Dunbar. Mckay scored a belter against celtic but was hopeless🤷♂️. Ojo is not good enough, rarely beats a man or makes a forward run, his passing is awful. I also thought we moved the ball quicker without aribo in midfield. Our play was a lot slicker. 👍.

Think he has loads to offer.
The more games he plays the better he will get. His decision making will improve along with his ratio of goals and assists.
He is not Willie Henderson but hey who is?
He has what most teams fear, and that is the pace of Usain Bolt😀.
I'm happy to check in with you at the end of the season to see who got it correct, and see which of us was wrong😊.

Our best result and performance yesterday and one of the usual suspects is being negative and moaning about one of our players. He must be a right laugh in the pub! Ojo is nowhere near as bad as some think on here. Thankfully most on here give our players support.
I think we could have a really good season with the squad we've got (Ojo included! )

Suubstitions are made in games Coldo, that's football. Our manager, who I think can judge a player better than anyone on this forum, seems to rate Ojo. Think I'll trust his opinion.

Ojo will definitely start against young boys. Coldo were you at the game or did you just see highlights . ojo never out a foot wrong and got definite pass marks . He could be doing with a bit of dig but the boy is a great footballer . The opposition need to bring him down to stop him . He has more fouls against than anyone else in the team 👍.

Cosgrove may have scored 18 or so goals last season, but of those, 9 or 10 I think, were from the penalty spot and he isn't going to be taking penalties for us. As has been said before he would be 3rd choice. Aberdeen will not sell to us, another reason for him not to be metioned again.

Well yesterday showed the true gulf in class and quality between the 2 sides.
