I don't get the daly type signing as it seems to be just throwing money at an extra player when really we should gain promotion anyway. However, signing good quality players such as Gordon and Berra etc I do understand as, although they will have large wages, I can see that they will be able to command some sort of fee and, if not to be sold, they have the necessary quality to play In the spl for a few seasons at least.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Genuinely think he is just after a couple of leaders for the team

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally think Jon Daly will be a fan favourite next season I'd say he's much like McCulloch but better.

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you will find that Jon Daly will be an excellent signing he will score goals and he should be a great strike partner for Clarke or Little. He is also a leader as he proved at Dundee Utd.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to agree with the second post, I'm not a fan of signing 30 something's however Daly will not lose a header all season he is very very good at what he does, I think Clark and Little will love playing with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4/ Do you really think Ally will play all three at the same time. Not a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 not for 90 minutes and I think little will play more often than not on the right, last season we didn't have the right players to play 2 up top however I think we will see more of that this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

We will finally have competition for places, Coisty said in an interview you play bad in one game you won't be playing in the next, hopefully that will bring some goals!

Hi, I want to thanks Boca & Goian for transfering their contracts & not running off last year real pro's I wish them all the very best for the future. Boca & I became friends he was a regular in our restraunt in the south side. Please a message & I will transfer to a large card when I go out to see him in the next few weeks. He will sign and be captain of the New, New York City club owned by the yankees.

well said would have loved him to stay but had to get him off wage bill good luck to both

Agree0 Disagree0

The New York City team are owned by man city's owner, and were made to produce youth and promising talents for city. So this probably isn't true. {Ed001's Note - it is owned by both Man City and New York Yankees, amongst other, smaller, investors, hence the name New York City.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why could rangers not sell both players and command a transfer fee? The whole notion of tuping over was if players the chose to leave at least the rangers would at least get some much needed cash?

Agree0 Disagree0

Close friend are you? that's not who he is signing for.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish he would have stayed but good luck too him.

Agree0 Disagree0

No. 4 I take it your refering to Chivas. He will spend a few months their until the NYC team is up & running. Everyone is synical on here wow we are all Bears

Both quality players and top men for agreeing for their contracts to be ripped up. Wish the likes of cribari & some of the other deadwood would do the same but am guessing no one would want them.

Hope to see them both in World Cup in Brazil.

OT but any word on the Newcastle boys suppose to be coming to Ibrox, could one be a CB? Might suit Ashley to send us some good young ones for expereince.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely if they were owned in contract they would have been sold.
Boca has not 'departed' Ibrox as he hasn't been there for over a year. I don't believe he signed a new contract with Green. His old contract legally destroyed on liquidation.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3. Every club and agent in the land knows Gers have to offload those two. No sane man would offer cash for them two when it was blatantly obvious they were going to be available for nothing. In another time and place getting a fee would be possible but if you look around players are ripping. up contracts left right and centre. In all leagues.

Agree0 Disagree0

Both will have agreed to terminate contracts with money up front, spin is saves £2mill / year, truth more like it cost £1 mill to let both go

Agree0 Disagree0

@10 not necessarily, they wanted to leave as much as we wanted them to, I think it would have been a fair agreement

you leave for nothing and we'll not make any waves

Agree0 Disagree0

@11: there's no way they would have left for nothing. Would you leave a job for nothing if you didn't have to?

Agree0 Disagree0

Fact is that they never ran away they were on loan for the year and far from top players see were they end up

Possible set up, thoughts?

Bell/Gordon
Foster. Berra. Zaliukas. Smith

Templeton. Law. Peralta. Wallace

Daly. Clarke/Little

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I that team would also win Division one so we could buy all the players we need this summer and not buy again in till we have won the 1st Division Title what do you think Ed? {Ed001's Note - on the face of it, you would expect it to be enough to get Rangers back into the top flight.}

Agree0 Disagree0

You kicked black out the team you need to remember it was 11 players on the field last season not just black.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only possible. 3 of them aren't even our players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks good but McLeod has to be a starter, we need to further his development. Keep Wallace at left back and put McLeod in the mid

Agree0 Disagree0

We have no need for an expensive experienced 2nd goalie. Promote gallacher for august, loan him out from 31st august and have the youth keepers deputise on the bench when they aren't playing.

Agree0 Disagree0

You do realize don't you, that team is going to cost you somewhere in the region of £60,000 per week, without subs and management. so heading up towards £80,000 per week, to win the scottish third division!!!

queen of the south won it at a canter last season with a team worth next to nothing, earning hundreds.

why on earth can't some of you see that this is madness with bells on.
or is it mr. mccoist winning titles to keep bears onside, regardless of the cost. I don't understand it. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally is doing well 2 cente halfs and the team is ready to take us back to the top

Agree0 Disagree0

@3. 10 of them are not registered as your players until the first of september. the can still go elsewhere up until then. shammy {The Ed039's Note - I am sure there would be legal implications for that Shammy, the same way a player signing a pre contract with a club is not their player until they are registered on July 1st, ie Richard Brittain)

Agree0 Disagree0

Shammy your getting worried the most successful club in scotland are back on track

Agree0 Disagree0

@9. your maybe right bud. but for how long. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 bring it on son, one of the cups, and we will wipe our arse with you. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 we won the 3rd division at a canter last season

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes qos won it easily, but where will that squad get them in division 1? Certainly womt get them into the top flight anytime soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shammy is going to get sleepless nights he knows the gers are back

Just like to wish both boca and goian all the best in finding new clubs. really liked them as a pairing its a pitty we couldn't strike some kind of deal with them to stay but thanks lads and good luck.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Aye good luck to them decent players and decent guys

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually, much as I hate to say it Boca came into my work during the olympics one sunday afternoon, I believe to visit the american womans footy team, he is an obnoxious and arrogant man who actually walked away while 2 gers fans were trying to say hello,

Alright my fellow blue noses. Could someone help me out. I was wondering roughly how much a season ticket would cost in the govan front area? Cheers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

£300ish

Agree0 Disagree0

Bout 350 mate

Agree0 Disagree0

About £300 is the going rate, I think.
AJM.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers lads. That'll do me.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's is £304 that's where I sit.

Agree0 Disagree0

How does it work, it's my first time buying a season ticket. Do I need to be placed on a waiting list? Then they make me an offer? If that's the case would the offer be roughly where I'd want to sit? Cheers lads.

Agree0 Disagree0

Best idea is to call at the ticket centre they can show you a seating plan of the area and any available seats, public sale in a couple of weeks I think, you can also phone or see seats available on the club website, hope this helps.

we should be approaching the likes of partick th, killie, st mirren ect and offering some of the younger lads on loan ie aird, naisy, crawford if there not in allys plans they would get exp playing in the spl and not sitting on a bench week in week out

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If the young lads are not good enough to play in the 2nd div or Ramsden cup what makes you think they're good enough for the SPL? DH

Agree0 Disagree0

What an absolutely fantastic idea. send the youth to the premier league. They are not good enough for the 2nd division according to ally (bringing in other player). So why do you think someone else would want them. Good lord give me strength.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigger question is why are they not in plans.
Mccoist has wasted biggest opportunity to build a young well playing football side for some of the worst dross ever sern

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of the worst dross ever seen?

McKay - 39 apps
Hutton - 32 apps
Hegarty - 28 apps
Crawford - 25 apps
Aird - 21 apps
Naismith - 21 apps
Perry - 20 apps

Now I'll fully admit a lot of these apps were off the bench for most of them, but the fact still remains that a large part of the team that a large part of our fans have slated are the very same youth players that Ally is somehow unjustly ignoring in favour of proven SPL players

I'd love to see the youngsters being given their chance to impress, and I'm also quite confident that they will, but some of you need to get a grasp of reality

I'm sure you'll continue to ignore the actual facts for another chance to slate Ally though

Agree0 Disagree0

The young boys need help theyl get their turn about xmas the league will be won then {The Ed039's Note - Sure I have heard this before)

Agree0 Disagree0

@4, ure missing the point. These guys may have had game (not apps but actual mins?) but if they can't be coached properly or be presented with footballing tactics then dross it is

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 so it's all down to the coaches?

Nothing to do with the expectations put on them to win every single game?

or playing infront of 40odd thousand people one week and 400 the next?

What about the fact that they're playing for a team who everybody has in their targets, the circus that rolls into town and becomes the biggest game of players' career, nothing to do with the pressure of that?

I'm sure those 18 year olds can bear that weight without any experienced players in the team

The team is being built for the next few years, not for the next season, and I think the young players will benefit from that much more than the older players being brought in

Christophe berras agent urges mccoist to make contact if he's interested as berra wants a move to rangers - the scotsman

I know not everyones a fan of berra but ill take him over cribari or perry any day of the week. James

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would love to see berra at ibrox, he's a proven international. Let's hope ally gets this one sorted
