Glad Celtic got through for the coefficient and also that Ajer might be injured.
Also sectarian singing and rubbish to do with anything other than football clubs be it a rangers affiliation to England, UDA, UVF or Celtic affiliations to Ireland, IRA etc.

Oh letsgo don't lower yourself to their standards mate. Listen I hate Celtic as much as you do but I fully believe that we will the league this year. So if they win all their group games and hopefully we do as well. Then we have a better chance of getting into champ league group and the 35 mill that comes with it. Can you imagine what SG could do with 35 mill. Plus the value of all of our players would rise.
It would also mean we are truly back to where we belong.

Helps us Celtic being in Europe, not just for the coefficient. Can’t have them having midweeks off if we’re playing. We’ve got the better squad, we’ll cope with it better. When they need to rotate they get weaker.

@stewartyblue - not lowering. Just wise enough to know that if they had qualified for the CL they could have attracted a better quality of player and once they were pumped out would probably have the upper hand.
As it stands they’ve downsized, we’ve made some decent signings and I believe we’ve got the upper hand 👍.

We may have better sqaud on paper but what worries me is the amount of goals celtic are knocking In from variety of players. We look like we scrape through some games with lucky to get 1 goal.

Letsgo that's my point mate. They didn't mainly because they are not good enough but also because they had to play 3 qualifiers.
As I said I fully expect us to win the league and qualify for the CL qualifiers.
My point is if Celtic win all of their group games along with us then we might only need to play 1 or 2 qualifiers to progress to the group stages and the 35 mill pot. Then it will be us not them that are able to attract better players.
So yes I want them to do well in Europe.
Plus them being in the group helps us win the league as their first say 13 players are good but the rest of their squad is projects and young boys. Last night was a prime example of this with Ajar getting injuried They have no cover to replace him.
So yes I wanted them to win for the above reasons.

Really proud of the rangers team and fans. Hopefully we're reaching a watershed moment with the bigotry involved in Scottish football. I went to my first rangers game in 85 and tonight was easily one of the most satisfying results I've witnessed in my time.
I've sung my share of the bad songs, in my younger years, and was recently offered a share of a season ticket seat next to the union bears. I have to say, I was disgusted with some of the things I've heard from fans in recent games and I couldn't be happier that we seem to heading in right direction. Keep up the good work Rangers!

Good result tonight even if pushing it very literally to the wire. Katic has just been transformational this season what a rock he is, I’d argue 1st choice CB. Morelos stuck at it and got his goal. Think his overall play, decision making and definitely temperament has so far this season been tremendous compared to last season.
When the Legia player went through the back of Morelos and they somehow got the free kick, he didn’t even get involved last season he’d have probably been booked or sent of for some form of retaliation.
Onto Celtic and Sunday, glad they managed to get through although that was more or less a given, would’ve preferred if they went extra time and penalties though and tired their team.
They’re through and will be good for Scottish coefficient let’s now hope they get shown up from here on out.
Onto rangers v Celtic this Sunday. As much as Celtic are undoubtedly decent going forward and attacking there are two stand out points that give me a confidence I’ve not had as a rangers fan going into the old firm (with many Celtic fan friends which makes the roasting worse as you’d imagine), in a long time.
1. They may be good going forward but they’ve yet to face a well drilled organised defence this season. Think Dunfermline took them to extra time by being organised and it sure wasn’t there skill.
2. There defence is undoubtedly weak, Bolingoli is a liability defensively, their best CB is playing RB, not quite fast enough there is Ajer and finally, Scott Brown there talisman who will have to play or a team least Lennon will has recently shown that He is past it.
Jack, Kamara, Davis, Aribo any of these players are more than capable of dealing with mr Broony.

Really wished I could have started it off but when the away support lit those flares it was crying out for the ground to sing slades merry Christmas everyone’s having fun . would have been hilarious. As it was I think that was the turning point as it wound us up and we roared the team on from that point . Trying to bait us with that efforgee at the start as well was brilliant. Not one person bit either . but more to do with I think no one had a clue who it was lol . An amazing night tho . one for the memory coffers and so happy for all the young fans who witnessed it . What a great result! That team was tough. They were physical and great stamina. A little touch of class undid them. Well done to persevere. Great save by MacGregor prior to the goal. I thought that was us done! Jones for Arfield at half would have suited me better. Katic closed down everthing they countered with. On the ground, in the air, that man was an absolute beast. Have to agree swagman, I moaned at the time but taking him out the team last year might have done the lad wonders, he’s far more mature and stronger this year, you can see he’s worked hard to get back into the team. I wouldn’t criticise anyone tonight, slack passes or not, that was a very capable side we played. Katic and Jack were stand out for me and the energy of Davis was excellent. Some great midweek games in Europe to look forward to now, bring them on!

I believe tonight’s game will be tougher than Sundays as they a tactically superior side and will be far more difficult to break down than Celtic.
The Legia boss has also admitted he has got his side practicing penalties so we could be in for a long night!

When was the last time a gers player scored from distance? I'm talking about from open play before someone jumps in with bb freekick. Fintytint please don't take offence at my reply but are you willing to blame 1 section of the rangers fans for the club's recent sanction please for your sake don't be so foolish. Wether folk want to admit it there is a bit of fire in the belly of a lot of supporters. Maybe this section put themselves on a pedestal they are fanatical. But for years stalwarts at the club have been singing including when Mo Johnson was playing for Rangers. Do yourself a favour and let the people with the knowledge change the club, you are entitled to your opinion btw. For me there has been a reason for non signing of a section of players that has changed the singing will change also. we need to concentrate about what's going on on the pitch rather than slaughtering each other on a fans forum. They are coked up wee boys that want to think they are hard men. They aren't the only ones causing trouble but most times the songs originate from them. I would install cameras and anyone caught signing offensive songs gets 10 year ban from ibrox. We aren't short of fans willing to pay to see the Gers so we can afford to get rid of these people.

Regardless of some off our views it’s a bigger problem than BF1.
I fully expect us to receive further punishment tomorrow, ie a full stadium closure for group stages match or first game next season.
Money we could really do with.
For those who keep saying don’t use add ons, it’s the whole song.
Look at case against Linfield and written findings. Strange how they manage to cut songs.
As always we want to blame everyone else.
For those in doubt a full stadium closure is next punishment we are due, followed by a ban from Europe.

Chunky ave sat all round that stadium. With season tickets in Govan and club deck. Don’t get me wrong the party atmosphere they create down there is great with no chance of putting your bum on the seat for any of the 90mins that ave been behind them. But they do start the songs and I have said before they can use this to there advantage if they wish.
Any echo of billy boys comes from the stadium and they drown it out with another song all praise to them. They can do wonders for the club and am sure the club would be far more willing to discuss safe standing or increase there size if they do help with stopping or not starting the songs that get the club in trouble.
