Looking already at Ross county. got to be borna, katic, Goldie, tav, then Jack Davis (if ok) kamara, then Kent, Morelos and Stewart. We'll do ok. 2-0 - 20 quid on.

28 Oct 2019 23:02:56
Wouldn't argue with that team rossco although helander has been solid and barker for stewart if he's fit. The midfield is spot on and is key to how we play and our tempo. 👍.

29 Oct 2019 01:53:32
To be honest Rossco I am hoping for more than 3.

29 Oct 2019 05:42:35
Molsgoals, first and foremost i'm hoping to make sure we secure the 3 points! Won't be an easy game for us up in dingwall mate.

29 Oct 2019 08:12:20
Helander should be the first name on the team sheet on Wednesday, if he isn't, then there's something far wrong, he has been immense in the last two games.

29 Oct 2019 09:19:52
Again, any win would do for me. Ross County tend to make it difficult for us up there.

29 Oct 2019 10:14:53
So Gerrard was getting called the Tinkerman after making changes for Sunday and yet we want him to make 2 or 3 changes again? 🤔
Why not keep the same back 4, especially the 2 CH's so they can build an understanding together.

29 Oct 2019 11:02:09
he likes to tinker.

29 Oct 2019 12:28:20
Helander will play.

29 Oct 2019 12:50:02
Oh, you like Helander now?

29 Oct 2019 15:48:34
Barker offers nothing. Would rather murphy or ojo. Until jones is fit.

30 Oct 2019 06:41:54
Murphy is better suited to these types of games as he doesn’t have the blistering pace but does have a bit of creativity. Barker better suited for games when teams will come out a bit and we can counter.

28 Oct 2019 20:53:56
Expect to be shot down for this but here goes. As good as McGregor has been in goal this season, I do believe he is starting to look increasingly beatable. Not sure if this is down to his age, fitness levels, or absence of genuine competition for the jersey.

28 Oct 2019 22:53:22
Honestly? The guy has made saves all season he's had absolutely no right to make.

28 Oct 2019 23:03:45
Can't agree bankie, mcgregor has been a rock👍.

29 Oct 2019 01:00:26
His stats are actually better than last seasons so far. The guy is a victim of his own success.

29 Oct 2019 01:55:08
Bankie the two saves against Porto in the last mins ? Are you joking? He saved us the game and earned us a point.

29 Oct 2019 04:02:14
Too be honest I think shagger is as good as ever. Best goalie in the league.

29 Oct 2019 05:47:20
Sorry bankie i'm also in agreement with everyone else. Allan mcgregor is like a vintage wine and getting even better with age, if that's possible!
The best keeper in scotland, even in his very late 30's bar none. Still one of the best in britain. Greegs could play for us easily another 2 or 3 years imo. Pure class act. His late double save in portugal when he was a spectator for most of the 2nd half, shows everyone just how good he still is, with immense concentration levels.

29 Oct 2019 06:25:00
McGregor playing as well as ever in my opinion.

29 Oct 2019 06:35:40
You're right bankie, let's get on his back like we do Tav!

29 Oct 2019 07:32:52
think youve been watching the wrong team.

29 Oct 2019 08:38:11
Bankie. Consider yourself shot down🥊🥊.

29 Oct 2019 09:22:00
Sorry Bankie. It's a no from me as well. Best keeper in the league by a mile, despite what the LB says about big Lurch.

29 Oct 2019 10:02:08
Bankie, have to agree with you.

Not to say that he is playing badly but the last few goals I would have expected him to do better.

On a positive note, he hasn’t let us down with stupid kicks and bookings this season.

29 Oct 2019 10:22:56
I can see where your coming from.
After Jack's horrendous mistake against Porto, could McGregor's positioning be questioned? Or do we applaud the quality of the strike?
Same on Sunday. He got beat by a shot in the middle of the goal, it wasn't in the corner.
But McGregor has saved us on numerous occasions and to me he's also easily the best keeper in the league.

29 Oct 2019 10:54:30
bankie, DK19 and MrPoppy. tell me you are the wind up?

absolute nonesense! Positioning questioned for Porto goal? get a grip it was a worldy that ain't get saved

goal against motherwell he was wrong footed. it happens

anyone on here who can seriously be judging shagger are cluesless.

the guy has saved us on too many occasions to mention and IF he makes a mistake he has enough credit in bank to allow it.

29 Oct 2019 13:18:26
Some people on here amazing Jbf.

29 Oct 2019 13:17:58
Didn't I say should we applaud the quality of the strike?
But because he's saved us on many occasions, his indiscretions should be ignored?
Doesn't that apply to Tav then? Highest assists in the league past couple of seasons. Scored more penalties than he's missed. But we'll concentrate on a poor recent run of form!

What about Ryan Jack? Currently first name on the teamsheet. Are we forgetting how poor he was when he first came? The red cards, trying to hard to impress us the fans.
But we'll forgive his horrendous mistake the other night.
We're a fickle lot when it suits us. 👍.

29 Oct 2019 16:02:15
McGregor's made one mistake this season, thot he should have saved the winner v young boys. Not s hope in hell of saving porto goal you csnt be serious about that. Coles goal sunday came back the way Cole turned flat footing him. When u get that plus its low n close to the body it's one of the hardest save for a goalie. Come on lads.

30 Oct 2019 03:35:29
Blankie, seriously. blanky, bright as a blackout.!

30 Oct 2019 06:44:00
Mistakenly hit agree with Bankie, like I’m sure others did, as at first glance I thought he said increasingly UNBEATABLE. The way he’s been playing, if he was ten years younger and a more fashionable nationality teams wouldn’t blink at paying £40m for him. Lay off the Buckie, Bankie.

30 Oct 2019 06:47:26
MrPoppy - McGregor and Jack’s standards are consistently high, so you can forgive the odd mistake or two a season. Tav makes errors, really basic, costly errors, in almost every game.

And the “oh but his assists, oh but his goals” brigade - he hits all the penalties and most of the corners and free kicks. I’m 37 and topped out at amateur level, a handful of junior games, but stick me in the team and let me hit all the dead balls and I’ll rack up some goals and assists but be murder the rest of the time, you still keeping me in due to the stats? Give us a break.

30 Oct 2019 11:00:11
That's the difference Swagsman, you unfortunately and thankfully for us found your level so will be nowhere near the Rangers first team. 👍
Tav is at a level you and I can only dream about.

31 Oct 2019 17:04:25
Just because he is at a level above us doesn’t mean he’s at a good enough level for Rangers.

28 Oct 2019 20:04:34
I couldn't believe how low the sheep 🐑could go especially at home . glad we didn't get D Mc. they can keep him. his team talk must be now lads lie down to my friends.

28 Oct 2019 21:50:32
He is a born and bred bluenose, or was, he isn’t welcome any more, he is just a poor manager who’s team obviously have no respect for him or that club, the owner Milne must be feeling sick now after making statements about mcinnes and the Rangers job, I don’t see how mcinness can survive much longer, he could be gone very soon. Or maybe his team will beat Hamilton and he will be ok until the next big game,

28 Oct 2019 23:06:38
We shouldn't rely on any other team to do our business for us. 👍.

29 Oct 2019 06:43:13
The thing that annoyed me was that one of their goals who ever it was ran from almost the halfway line unchallenged, yet when we play them you can run the length of yourself before GBH is committed, let alone a tackle. One booking, and none in the second half when you're losing 4-0, says it all. They should be getting the same questions asked about their professionalism as Southampton are getting.

29 Oct 2019 09:25:50
Agree 100% jyf. They may have lost 5 at Ibrox but it didn't stop them trying to boot us off the park at times. McInnes is no more a Rangers man than Lennon imo. You never ever turn down the manager"s job at Ibrox. Delighted he did mind you! Lol.

28 Oct 2019 19:41:53
Stevie g sayin about the mental strain our players are under after European games. Hm. Porto, Motherwell then Ross county. Not like Ronaldo at Madrid v psg then barcelona. our players must be delicate. Bollks. Full strength against all teams. europe or no. our players need to toughen up. don't remember Albertz, Gough, coisty or amoruso whinin.100.% in every game and we're on the way.

28 Oct 2019 20:07:11
The tinkering nearly cost us yesterday. Couldn't agree more rossco, if they don't have the mentality then they shouldn't be here. 👍.

28 Oct 2019 21:10:06
We had our fair share of bad performances after European games with albertz, Gough, mccoisty and amourso though didn't we?

28 Oct 2019 21:55:18
Just stating the obvious but we can’t afford players of the standard you have mentioned and we could not attract them to our league any more.

At least not if we want to avoid a repeat of our financial meltdown.

Time to get real.

28 Oct 2019 21:56:54
Agreed, slight tweak maybe but 4 is a significant change that almost killed our momentum. Start your best team and kill off the opposition then bring on your back up players not the other way round. Small pitch requires good technicians that can pass fast and accurate through the 10 man block.

Aribo needs to step up 2 or 3 levels if he starts. He doesn't seem to suit the left midfield role in a 433, always seems a bit apprehensive and scared to make a mistake and in the end plays safe. Wonder if he would suit the left of the 3 in a 4231 more where he has a bit more protection behind.

29 Oct 2019 01:59:37
A lot of people knocking Aribo the past two weeks . The boy is just coming back from a horrific head injury . Your saying he’s a bit apprehensive? No blinking wonder ., give him a couple of weeks to get his mojo back eh? 👍.

29 Oct 2019 05:07:32
I kinda disagree with most, our squad was built bigger to help the team cope with the amount of games we need to play.

Its a double edged sword really, you want your best players for every game but we need to think about the bigger picture its a long season and good players could get tired and more susceptible to injury in the long term which you want to avoid especially if we are in contention.

The players that we are able to rotate to are good players and should be coming in and using these games as an opportunity to move into being first pick.

We can't moan as other teams are in the same boat, help from SFA is welcome but we have a big squad because we have these games remember. Two for every position.

29 Oct 2019 09:28:22
It's true mrgrumpy, sometimes we did struggle in the past after a Euro match. Remember big Amo getting pelters for a couple of mistakes during matches.

29 Oct 2019 10:01:42
To be honest mols I don't think aribo had his mojo before he got injured. 👍.

28 Oct 2019 18:16:02
Heard tavernier has been getting it right off fans, thing is I have criticised him on these pages but I don't here him being boos at matches! I give an honest opinion on here but never boo or heckle any rangers player at matches! I cheer and applaud as all their names at read out. Worst thing I've heard at a game regarding tavernier is a sigh when he misses a penalty or miss laces a cross etc and that's the same for every player! I remember the days Maurice Ross and boba Malcolm were booed when there names were read out, that I'm my opinion was unacceptable.

28 Oct 2019 19:58:18
100% agree with you Bgate W, shocking to think a fellow supporting to boo any rangers player!

28 Oct 2019 21:19:27
Been following glasgow rangers everywhere for way over 40 years now and never have and never will boo a rangers player. It just ain't the way and imo any rangers supporter who boos his own players shouldn't be going to watch The Famous! that's not supporting your team, in my eyes anyway!

28 Oct 2019 21:40:05
Not as shocking as hearing Bob Malcolm's name being announced :)

29 Oct 2019 08:12:51
So who heard our fans booing tav? I certainly didnt.

30 Oct 2019 06:50:19
This is a misconception that annoys me. Because I come on here and slate Tav I’m not a “real fan” or “behind the team” - I’ve never once booed him or ANY Rangers player (though probably came close watching Windass pull out of challenges) . I give him my backing for 90 mins but I’m allowed to air my frustrations when he is awful.

28 Oct 2019 16:40:07
I read last week of a guys visit to the Rangers tour recently, I was at the tour on Friday 18th, it was great to be inside the stadium again, I hadn’t done the tour for many years, I don’t believe any other club has the prominence of Rangers, although I understand Liverpool, Everton, Man U arsenal etc obviously have similar history as do a few lower league clubs, what got me when I returned with my wife and daughter to the Lake District was the waiting list for the members club, it is beautiful and I think every s/ t holder should be invited at least once to sample the experience of the club, I think it was launders who said he was there recently, fri, 18th 10,15.

28 Oct 2019 13:45:38
Agreed tav should be off pens, but even the ones he's missed this season, we have won all of those games. honestly think people will miss him when he's not there. Flannigan is a better defender, but not better in attack. And the way we like to play, we need attacking full backs.

28 Oct 2019 12:14:06
This site can be very negative at times! Yesterday was a struggle, we may question the team selection but we ground out 3 points and if you listen to any ex player/ pundit that's the sort of games that win you leagues, the games where you are flying, winning 3/ 4 nil take care of themselves.

We were away and had a tough game against Porto, got a great point, another 3 points in the league with another league game on Wednesday before a big semi final.

As for the team selection, agree Tav should be off penalties but another assist and hopefully that'll do him some good. As for people slating Stewart a few weeks ago he was getting rave reviews against Aberdeen/ Hamilton etc. Jack clearly is being managed so would folk rather he played yesterday then missed next week's semi? Aribo looks like he lacks heart but maybe just maybe he'll be a better player for it in the 2nd half of the season or maybe next, remember people looking to get shot of Barisic last year.

28 Oct 2019 12:27:06
Yeah Bairdy, have still been coming on site and have done for years and the critics are definitely on here big time. The problem now is for the last 7 years we have been talking about non football pitch related stories and I for one have enjoyed this site but now we are talking football related. Since Mr Gerrard has came into our great club we have become a football club again and thanks to Dave King we are starting to all talk about football again and you can see how desperate Gers fans are to stop Celtic! The team StevieG has put together is excellent and I am loving week to week playing and challenging in the league and in Europe and we should all enjoy it and I do believe we could be onto something special! Let’s all rally round our magnificent club and try to give our best support and I do realise it’s hard not to criticise but like Mr Gerrard says he needs the fans behind him🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

28 Oct 2019 12:58:10
Great posts boys 100% 👍.

28 Oct 2019 13:04:35
Good post yateley. It’s well known I’m not a great fan off tav due to his lack of defensive skills. , which in my opinion have actually improved since Gerrard became manager.
However, I could not believe the stick he was taking during the game from our support.
This was even before the penalty miss. Moaning re crosses, not being close enough or tighter on a well player. One instance he was only a yard away. He has became an easy target for some.
Re the penalty miss, yes he has missed six since he signed, that happens, it is time to try someone else.
I’d like to see Morelos on penalties
Interesting Defoe at spurs missed six in a season.
Also believe if u get more than one penalty in a game you should change the taker.
As the manager said yesterday support the player whoever he is during the match and debate issues after.
As I have said before if we want to win the league we need better defender at rb. My opinion.

28 Oct 2019 13:05:49
Great posts guys. I was just thinking about how much deep dodo we would have been in if McInnes had accepted the position. Doesn't bear thinking about.

28 Oct 2019 13:12:03
Well said! I think a lot of the people on here have very short memories and their sense of entitlement is frankly embarrassing.

28 Oct 2019 16:42:15
Anybody chapped coldos door, see if his battery hasn’t died.

28 Oct 2019 17:23:17
Excellent post Yately, well said.

28 Oct 2019 17:46:33
When your team plays well, as ours have most games this year, expectations rise we expect it when we play truly exceptional stuff, as against Porto we love it and want that every week. Having said that It's not unreasonable to expect better than we played against Motherwell I never have nor ever will boo my team or any of the players but I do expect better.

28 Oct 2019 17:51:13
I think people who make excuses are spineless. I much prefer accoutability, the world was a better place👍.

28 Oct 2019 19:48:30
Superb post Yately, sums up how I feel too.

28 Oct 2019 11:22:25
Throwing a curve ball out there. Some will remember England's Hoddle and Brazil's Socrates two class acts. Both played to their own pace and tempo and didn't get stuck into tackles and run their legs off. Give Aribo a break. He's got a similar style of play.

28 Oct 2019 13:06:58
Aribo will come good. He is an excellent player who will make us a lot of money when he moves on.

28 Oct 2019 17:52:20
Hopefully sooner than later seeker, he looked great on youtube. Maybe lee bowyer was right🤷‍♂️👍.

28 Oct 2019 17:54:05
Aribo is a class act who will show his worth to the team.
Those with limited patience will eat their words just like they did with Barisic. 👍.

28 Oct 2019 09:28:49
Tough game yesterday, I did fear it wasn't going to be our day when Tav missed the penalty and we weren't really creating clear cut chances but got there in the end and last season would probably have been 2 points dropped. This brings me onto Aribo, so far I don't see what the hype is about (forget that he's scored for Nigeria), this is about how he plays for us. We scored 11 in 2 league games when he was out the team - I just think he slows us down too much allowing the oppostion to reorganise. Or is it just me?

28 Oct 2019 09:57:56
I agree mate I think he’s a talent but he is nt getting the ball and moving it on quick enough, watch Davis and jack when they receive the ball change direction with first touch and run or move it on ASAP, he does nt do that but hopefully it will come. For me he is not starting 11 material for us yet, would have Kamara or Arfield in front of him and jack/ Davis are nailed on starters when fit.

28 Oct 2019 10:36:28
Nigeria are a damn good team. You don't get selected and walk into it easily.

28 Oct 2019 12:13:01
heard the same on here about borna tbh we all knew he was a player you don't play for croatia if your no good same goes for aribo and nigeria! he will find his form and when he does watch his value rocket. once helander gets picked for sweden again his value will soar too it really is quids in for us with these 3 i reckon not to mention the obvious others.

28 Oct 2019 14:25:32
Told you's months ago about aribo. 👍.

28 Oct 2019 14:58:09
Coldo u also told us about Barisic and Morelos. Aribo will get there.

28 Oct 2019 16:50:26
Aribo will be fine. Different league different style of play. Boys got it all in his locker to be a top player, just needs cosched to put it all together.

28 Oct 2019 17:53:15
I told you what morelos had to do and I also told you what barasic had to do, I was right the difference is there to see. I also told you that rossiter and docherty are not what we need when you persisted with that jboy👍.

28 Oct 2019 19:48:20
U love to tell us as u say but don’t respect our right to have an opinion. For u it is your way or no way.
Given how good u think u r maybe we could save a fortune get rid ofSG and give u the job.

28 Oct 2019 20:12:38
jboy, I got slated for giving my opinion about ojo and aribo early on and now there is a queue of people saying the same about ojo and aribo.

Everyone is saying about the difference in morelos and how good he is, I said last year and in the summer where he had to improve but again I got slated.

I called out worral grezda and got slated.

I remember i got slated for wanting shot of warbs and co.

I remember I got slated for wanting rid of pedro and co.

Maybe if you want your opinion respected then maybe it might be worth respecting the opinion of others. 👍.

28 Oct 2019 21:19:51
A bit of the pot calling the kettle there coldo. Of course your entitled to your opinion but you could learn to respect other people's opinions?

28 Oct 2019 21:42:59
I do respect your opinion, but it’s your view and no one else’s opinion counts.

28 Oct 2019 23:07:01
Not true jboy, mr grumpy, I have no respect for people who accuse me of being negative, a tim, a naysayer. Or people who say you should be manager or have a book.

29 Oct 2019 03:59:40
In another thread you've called folk spineless for having a different opinion to you! Perhaps if you took a slightly less confrontational approach when someone disagrees with you folk would do likewise when you post? 😉👍.

29 Oct 2019 10:03:06
Well said grumpy! 👍.

28 Oct 2019 08:42:49
Our midfield was almost non existent yesterday, with only Davis playing well. Aribo does nothing, whenever he gets the ball he passes the buck, never drives forward. Arfield needs to be pushed further forward to be effective. We really miss Jack, can only hope he is back for next game and beyond. If Davis ever gets injured, we are really stuck!

28 Oct 2019 15:06:14
Steven Davis always plays well mate.
He's still a tremendous midfielder,
who along with his midfield partner ryan jack, makes rangers tick.

28 Oct 2019 16:50:57
But he’s not young though.

28 Oct 2019 18:10:52
Young or not he's the best midfielder in scotland, in the current position he's playing in!
Davo could easily play another 2 or 3 years in scottish football, as he looks after himself and still very fit, even at his tender age of almost 35 years old now! Pure class act and him and ryan jack dovetail brilliantly together.

28 Oct 2019 07:01:26
WHY do people insist in saying we won't get 10m + for Kamara as if it's a lot of money in the football world after all half the players in world football are not worth there price tag look at Maguire for Man Utd £80 million lmfao, 10 m a player for the likes of a BPL team to buy is peanuts .

28 Oct 2019 14:27:56
Kamara is a quality player👍.
