I gave Law it stinkin in the first half, but when he takes the ball into his feet, turns and looks up instead of just passing it off, he's a different player. He frustrates the life oot me but was great last 20 minutes.

Waws guess what! wallace away on 600k of the 2mill loan, ally Isn't able to be sacked due to cost and all are back to square 1 by the end of November where more money is needed. There must be a promotion pre christmas on merchandise through Sports Direct meaning Rick Astley gets more money back plus "consultancy" fees are %age paid to Astley as is the 2 mill due or car park and eddison house sale kicks in for guess what. more than 2 mill. So Rick Astley is a winner many times over.

We loose our dynamic when Black plays. When he's out injured and Law and Mcleod play centre we are more creative. Black put his foot on the ball and the pace of our play dies. Although he has not being playing badly Black I think McCoist needs to drop him bring Mcleoad back in to centre and play templeton or shiels on the left.

Fellow fans
PLEASE PLEASE stop all this boycott crap and unite and support our wonderful club.

these so called fans groups can't agree on anything or who they want to lead our club. Who eventually runs or owns the club will want to make a profit that is business. I'm ok with that as long as there is investment to all areas of our club.

Rangers need investment to enable a profit to be made and I'm sure all these so called investors know this and were scared off, Along comes MASH and again nothing but unconstructive criticism form these so called supporters groups. I ask you this, do you think a billionaire is spending time, cash and risking his business ethnics to asset strip a club that has one real value.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's not Ashley I have a problem with it's the greaseddales.

28 Oct 2014 21:04:02
Rangers need serious financial surgery to make a profit, not investment.

Agree0 Disagree0

To all the boycotters all i would say is this- try running your household with only a quarter of your expected income. You will be grovelling to the bank or loan sharks in no time. that's what's happening at Ibrox as a result of NOT SUPPORTING THE TEAM !!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wee bill. its every supporter's right to judge the board we have, a few board members have come and gone, but most have took there pound of flesh with them. you see, there a shambles. and to just get up and get on with it attitude isn't washing with me. i will hold my thoughts on ashley until i see where he is going, not holding my breath, but i won't support this regeme. if ashley wants to offer an olive branch, start with the sacking of easdales and somers. just my view.

Anyone else think Llambias looks like a scruffy Charles Green?.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I thought one pic of him looked like a young Johnny Cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he looked like the new owner of Home Farm, but don't suppose anyone else watches Emmerdale. Lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Another new face just in the door and none of you are happy. Just what do you want ?? King, King and more King ??? he comes around as often as a bad cold and f***s off home to SA to count his money all over again. Get real and SUPPORT the club or get ready to kiss it goodbye for good !!! We were getting 40,000 + crowds in the bottom tier, 13,000 tonight ?? a total disgrace

Listen fellow bears I am one of the many season ticket boycott brigade I don't enjoy it but felt it had to be done it's my choice and opinion! I still support a big boycott tonight if only to show we mean business and deserve answers to where Ashley and co want to take us, hopefully after this somebody will tell us! But I do beleive it's time to maybe give him a chance and hopefully get us a bit of stability, I think if he speaks out then we have to give it a shot, I am hopeful it might be a good thing and I for one would probably renew, any thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2014 16:48:39
I think we should his back any boycotts until we hear what the man has planned either through him or one of his people turn up in numbers to show him what he can have and then if we don't like what. he says or does then. hit him with boycotts, protests at the moment its worth a try.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's all over, bar the shouting. Businessmen from Greenock and London control the club now and that's their right by way of putting their money up.

That's it, end of story, support the team or not, move on, boycott or whatever and I suspect this will hit older fans harder than the younger generation. Whichever way, the fan base is fractured and some see this as good and some as bad. I suspect lots of life long fans will be lost for good.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye you got that right it is most definitely all over right enough except these are not business men rather financial vultures.
Easdale a convicted fraudster and a puppet left in place by green as a sleeper agent for when the time is right, and Ashley a London barrow boy made good who has obviously been scheming this with Green. sorry Easdale for a long long time.

This club and its followers used to pride themselves on integrity a quality long forgotten by those in power at Rangers now. For those too blind or too stupid to believe otherwise you are welcome to keep supporting this entire farce.
As much as it hurts I prefer to remember the club as it was and prey that some day its returned to its rightful owners!

Agree0 Disagree0

People keep asking Ashley to say what he has planned, unless I am mistaken he doesn't have any more shares than he had 2-3 weeks ago and nobody was asking for him to speak up then. All he has done is what was done the last time and lend the club some money but it is interest free and he did exactly what was done the last time and asked for security. Llambias is a good appointment even if it is short term to try and cut the ridiculous cost base at the club BUT Mike Ashley DOES NOT OWN THE CLUB. Everyone wants to back Paul Murray who has done nothing to help the club, ever. DK, the man is manipulating the situation toh is advantage as well. The 16million was not investment, it was loans, and he wanted half the club, always knew that would never work as the current investors never going to allow that so that was his "easy" out. can now go away and say I tried but the knocked me back. Maybe if he turned up and said, here is £16million, loan over 20 years tax free, but I want 2 people on the board then they would have listened to him, but he didnt. The status quo has been maintained short term, Ashley has no more power than 1 month ago only now he has security for lending the club millions. that's alll

just wishing out loud here but anyway, are we all sure MA isn't a good thing for us at the moment, just my thoughts but the man is very rich asnd may want a successful team in Europe every reason, he may also have a grudge against Newcastle fans for their treatment of him and want to take another club forward, A decent Rangers team in Europe would be a massive selling point and make his business so exposed to advertising, now I know he hasn't spent millions on Newcastles team but they have had a few good players and it will be so much easier to take a Scottish club forward, this has the possibility of being a dream outcome, unfortunately it also has the possibility of being a disaster, we need a statement from Ashley as a matter of urgency as to his intentions for our club, I simply can't believe he would make himself hated by half of Scotland for money when he doesn't need to remember around 8-10mil and a decent manager will almost guarantee the Scottish title

It is all still a bit strange that Ashley 'effectively has control of Rangers' when he still only owns less than 10% in shares and has merely offered Rangers a loan facility of £2m. OK, the strings include having two places on the Board but surely any further developments must be put to the shareholders? So why can't King come back in now and make a substantial offer to Rangers? (Somers was still chairman last time I looked). If he offers £16m or more then I'd have thought the company would be duty bound to put the offer to shareholders. Whether the vote would succeed is another matter. There is something fishy about rejecting two alternative funding offers, both of which were better than Ashley's. What happens once the £2m has been spent? (which won't take this lot long). Crazy.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2014 08:15:21
Doiger, I think this £2m 'drawdown facility' is nothing other than a sticking plaster to get to the AGM, unlikely now to happen before December due to time constraints. What happens afterwards will depend on the board getting the Pre-emption rights disapplied. Then the smaller shareholders can be royally screwed.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought King was threatening legal action because his loan wasn't accepted, you know like when he threatened to sue David Murray after he supposedly lost his 20 million investment in Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doiger I agree but we all know why Ashleys loan was accepted! Either Green still has something too do with the club through Laxleys etc or Ashley himself has something too do with them iv mentioned. He gets the merchandise rights & naming rights for a quid! Now he has ed house & the car park secured against a 2 million loan which we all know we won't be able to pay back meaning another loan from Ashley with more things secured against it! It all stinks to high heaven mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2014 11:36:49
King will only put the £16mill in if he has control of the business which is 51% of the shares. In order to allow a new shares issue 75% of the shareholders must vote yes. As Sandy controls 26% and Ashley 9% they have told the board they will veto the motion so the board can't move forward. The £2mill loan can't be repaid so Rangers will default on the loan so Ashley will own the assets used to secure the loan. First of all another shareholder could ask the board how they propose to repay the loan. They would need to give him an answer. It may be they will go for a new rights issue later this year and if that is the case then the loan will be repaid. believe that Sandy Easdale has acted in the best interests of the shareholders. He is in bed with Ashley and he had the power to stop Kings bud in it's tracks which he did. Why the Board never took the £3 mill on offer remains strange and if it us correct that Ashley threatened the Board with legal action if they did not accept his offer is even more strange. What hold does Ashley have over the Board? There must be other agreements in place with Ashley? Also why no investigation into Green selling naming rights for £1.00? Why has no shareholder challenged this? It is an offence for any Director not to act in the best interests of all shareholders but it is a devil of a job to prove it.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2014 11:43:16
hardly fair on the other 90% shareholders who have little or no representation on the board I.E the fans. Easdale, Creighton and sommers have taken bungs to get this deal through. Corrupt to the core.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2014 11:46:55
Doiger her he only has effective control because of his association with Sandy. On his own he has the assets to secure the loan and control of merchandising. But at Board level he has nothing right now. When he puts his guys on the Board he has more influence but not control if the directors are acting in the best interests of all shareholders but we know from the past that does not always happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doiger, remember his two guys are only on the RFCL board not RIFC, ( for now anyway)

Do you know I for one can't believe the amount of fans on here that demand the board, easdales, ashley should all come out and prove this or that and at the same time say a lot about them without proof. lately its been ashley and he's only just in the door why not wait until he let's us know his intentions before slaughtering him. Incidently how many of the boycotters will want tickets IF it turns out we get celtic in semi-final ?.

According to reports we were 48 hours from admin2, now my take on that is we could NOT meet this month wage bill and Ashley £2m loan we will pay the wages. Next month will be nip and tuck if we can pay the wages. I for one can't see Wallace and Nash walking away with nothing and how much they get will play a big part in us making next months wages (if no other bill pop up from under the carpet). So come next month we go back to Ashley for more what do we have to bargain with (ed house and car park gone) Ibrox and MP still in doubt of ownership and court case could be round the corner. Well what can we offer for the next loan ????? the badge some people here think that might be already gone.
Thoughts guys

He said if the boards happy with the investment then he's happy with the investment as he said all along the club needs it. he's hardly going to come out and tell the man who can effectively fire him were to go can he.

I don't know what to make of my fellow bears who purport to be life long fans, we have, and we are going through, some of our toughest times and yet long life long bears are giving up their support because of the board, the shareholders and any other excuse, where is your loyalty,

Your excuse is your being ripped off or cheated, if you buy ak ticket to see the bears and you see the bears how the fk are you being ripped off

That's just pathetic in my opinion and maybe a sign of the times

Let's discuss

JG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

JG I agree with you, I said recently that I thought staying away was wrong and that it was killing us, (low gates=low income) but i was ridiculed on here. The maths is easy so why do so many people thing staying away is NOT damaging the club ??

Bears, anyone got any idea where the 2 million to be paid back in 6 months time will come from?

Ashley must have a plan to inject cash somehow early in the New Year so that the Company can pay him back?

ED?

There will, undoubtedly, be an extension granted until the 2015/16 season ticket sales have been made.

New share issue will need to be agreed at next AGM. It will happen as unless it happens there is no way to repay Ashley's loan. IMO over the next year Ashley, once he has sufficient shares may very well take Rangers private again. With a new share issue all shareholders are diluted. Becomes reasonably cheap to pick up shares then as major shareholder and buy out current shareholders.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2014 17:49:03
Could also be that the loan will not be repaid and Mr Ashley will claim the assets that were set against the loan repayment then go merrily into the next stage of his operation
