Great 2nd half tonight but can't hide my concern of our centre half's who both looked short of pace and neither looked convincing. Need improvement for young boys game and Cup final.

I totally agree with you One walter smith. Our severe lack of pace in our centre half positions is glaring and without question a big worry. Especially feyenoord's second goal last night showed how relatively one paced helander is although the big swede is a decent defender. Great result though and morelos was something else, yet again. Our second half showing was deserving of a point. First half we've our tremendous goalie allan mcgregor to thank for keeping the score down to one. He had 3 terrific saves especially the gordon banks type save he had from the downward hearder!

Totally agree mate need to get katic back in not going to slate anyone though as we done good to get a result. The lack of pace with our centre backs is a worry.

To be perfectly honest mrgrumpy and i have said as much on here many times now. Connor goldson was absolutely immense for us up until and including the game against celtic last december, when we beat them 1-0.Then he was injured and after the winter break in january he hasn't looked anywhere near the same player.

Here is my thoughts. The game should have been over by half time. Luckily it was only 1-0. What can we say about Morelos. Jesus. priceless.
Tav and Goldson are total passengers. No way SG will drop them though. Kent was quiet. Ojo should be sent packing but did improve slightly second half. What's happened to Arfeild. Shadow of a player he was. Kamara strolls through a game but for me he's missing something. Again we are making changes too late. Would have liked to have seen barker come on with his pace. We definitely need a win at home. Would I hand taken a point? I'd say yes.

Tav is terrible mate and can't defend. Our 2 CB are a mile too slow. Yes Hellender had a couple of good tackles but for me there not suited together. We need to get Edmunnson in there. Also polster needs a chance.

John and Seeker, totally agree with you guys, to be top of a group with Porto and Feyenoord in it is fantastic considering where we've come from. No complaints from me, I've seen us play great and lose games at this level and higher in my 60 years following the Gers. Onwards now to Ibrox in 2 weeks time.

Poor first half, really good 20 - 25 mins in second half, really thought we were going to push on at 2 - 1 but then get caught cold. It's in our own hands now.

Alfredo Morelos, what's left to say about our fantastic colombian striker fellow bears? Two terrific headers against feyenoord tonight but his 2nd header was exceptional, a world class header from a striker that's rumoured to NOT be able to score in big games🤔😂. Morelos in only 2 and a half years with rangers is already closing in on ally mccoist's european goalscoring record, which is stunning, given the years mccoist played for rangers!

Have to say I thought we did ok.
Feyenoord and a technically gifted and quick team coached by the master.
Their first goal was lucky but they were a bit unlucky as well so a draw was about right.
Can't understand the constant whining about our players - get behind the team through thick and thin, it's the Rangers tradition.

If Feyenoord play the same against Porto they have a good chance of at least drawing so if my maths are correct we could still qualify if we lose to YB by a single goal.
That being said, I think we have plenty to ensure a win.

At half time I would have bitten your hand off for a draw but i'm a bit disappointed to not win after that second half. Goldson has been a good signing for us overall since he came but i'm afraid there are now people that should be ahead of him in the starting line up.

Yet again our defense cost us 3 points. We need to sort that out before the celtic game or we will get beat. alfredo, mcgregor and kent kept us in that game last night . We need a leader in defence to hype these guys up. and sorry but tav isn't that guy. he's good but not great. in my opinion the captain should be the one who never let's us down and wears the jersey with pride. Steve davis or mcgregor should have the captains armband.

Ojo just doesn't look sharp. He let's the game pass him by whereas Kent goes looking for the ball and tries to make things happen. Helander has made a couple of good last ditch tackles but when they get our centre halves turned and running toward our own goal both Helander and Goldson look as though they are treading water. The lack of pace at centre half is a bit of a worry.
Not a great performance so far but 45 minutes to go. Come on the gers.
