I have seen the pictures of the ibrox superstore refurb looks really cool and the new strips are on display.

29 May 2020 05:41:45
Laudbear.
Could you take a photo and post [using the Sightings upload page on here], would be nice to see.
Cheers pal.

29 May 2020 08:49:57
What like is our new home kit Laudbear? Any pictures/ images/ photos mate?

29 May 2020 10:24:14
Laudbear. Is this work that is ongoing just now.
Or is it pictures photoshop as to what the architects say it will look alike.
Can’t wait to get the new strips for grand kids.
For once I feel we are very close to buying kit whereby our great club will see real benefits of funds going to club.
Our great fans under these circumstances will buy and invest plenty.
As SGL said in a previous post we have great opportunity to realise significant additional income.

28 May 2020 23:30:47
Is it all or nothing for us next season? I'm sick of arguing with supporters of the others across the Glasgow divide they keep saying 9iar I keep saying OK yous have won 8 technically it will always be won 8 awarded 1 with a big * next to it just like ours with Dumbarton over 100 years ago but if we looked at it from a neutral perspective it would have to be 8iar as they have only won 8 they wouldn't have been so quick to say award the title and totally hypothetical but what if the season had restarted and rangers won both of games and the game in had and something happened in another which brought it to within 1 point and then for the sake of conversation 1 of the celtic players was diagnosed positive for C.V. which would have brought their season to another halt but all other teams were fine and rangers we re able to continue play out their remaining fixtures would they accept us being given the title when we had played more games the them and there was still a realistic chance they would catch up if they were allowed to play out their fixtures? The lego muncher and old popcorn teeth would probably still be saying you have to give us the title because we would have won every game anyway.

28 May 2020 23:56:24
“Boss boss the plane” anyone remember fantasy island? 🤪.

29 May 2020 09:12:38
You know by the amount of Tim Apologists that come on here they are still trying to justify it themselves. 👍.

29 May 2020 10:47:54
They're obsessive, freaks of nature MrTupacman! 😂.

29 May 2020 13:52:01
8.79 going 3.79 if you listen to dave king but the that stumps them is you will never reach a whole number ever again.

28 May 2020 22:43:56
Does anyone know when bookies due to reopen so we can get a footy bet.

29 May 2020 08:05:33
Go online and register - i am with betfair.

29 May 2020 08:53:02
I think i seen it somewhere John25,
that bookies could open again in mid june. I don't know however if that was england mate. 🤔.

29 May 2020 09:14:17
Already betting online on the German Football - already losing money!
Same old, same old! 😭😭😭.

29 May 2020 09:51:30
Mr Tupacman. should have had a wee online bet on SGL and john25 being civil to each other.
100-1 at start of week on That not happening.

29 May 2020 10:26:43
Deniro I have a on line account but they don’t do my favourite coupon on line.
I love William hill bet where u r betting any team to score in last half hour. Pays ok for six fold and your bet is not beat early. Also your bet is live till final whistle.

29 May 2020 10:27:58
Blue brother we r all allowed a wee huff.
We both want the same for our great club.

29 May 2020 12:29:46
I echo that John25 👍.

29 May 2020 13:45:09
June 15 in England maybe wee nicola will do the same.
It's a barber I want. i'd even let sweeney Todd do it.

29 May 2020 13:48:03
England on 15th of June, Scotland maybe 1st of july.

29 May 2020 13:48:24
Most shops are 15th June but that's maybe just England, Scotland tend to be a few weeks behind with steps so maybe towards the end of the month I'd guess?

29 May 2020 17:40:41
I agree lads, just saying it’s nice to see although you have had your disagreements lately. that you can still show a bit civility towards each other when the banter gets a bit heated.

28 May 2020 22:39:13
Someone asked buzzbomb too check his spam folder and he looked in his fridge.

29 May 2020 13:46:40
And when he got there the fridge was bare.
And then his wife shouts out,
"There's a pot noodle in the cupboard",
"Next to your Glasgow Rangers encyclopaedias".

28 May 2020 21:30:00
Sun newspaper; Ex Ibrox star Steven Thompson welcomes Hagi arrival.
Makes me laugh when was Thompson a star. Scored 17 goals in three years
when he was at the Brox and do you listen to him as a TV pundit (Dick) . Like that other twit Michael
Stewart another star scored 14 goals in his 13 year professional career, says it all.

28 May 2020 22:02:55
Michael Stewart is a total gobs**t of a man, so he is 💩! He can't handle we rejected the waste of space he is! Little wonder we rejected that bitter piece of trash!

28 May 2020 21:23:34
Ed, do you have an editorial shield for some of the comments and opinions expressed here?

{Ed001's Note - yes a large %age on Celtic and Rangers have to be deleted or edited, unlike all of our other sites.}

28 May 2020 17:11:17
All us bears had our different opinions the other day, debating who was the greatest ever to play for rangers etc and a lot of us including myself, thought gascoigne was the greatest footballer to have ever played with us. I just read marco negri talking about gazza in an interview today online and he reckons gazza is up there with johan cruyff with these 2 better than anything he's seen in their positions! Its worth reading all us big gazza fans. Negri pays gazza amazing compliments on the talent he possessed.

28 May 2020 17:40:47
I bet you he paid big Sergio Porrini’s wife amazing compliments on the talent she possessed too.

28 May 2020 17:52:18
SGL do you thin Marco has heard of Jim Baxter or saw him play.

28 May 2020 18:27:54
Allegedly Broxi.

28 May 2020 18:40:58
Here John25 goes again. Ok mate you had many a drink with slim jim and rate him better than gazza but what i'm getting at here is marco negri whether he's seen/ heard of slim jim or not, he states IN HIS OPINION gazza was on a par with the great cruyff. So to sum it up for you mate he doesn't need to have seen slim jim, because if negri rates gazza on a par with cruyff, obviously means that gazza was better than baxter.
How you may ask, because quite simply mate cruyff was better than baxter and of that there's little doubt my friend!

28 May 2020 18:43:23
Broxi bear it was amoruso that negri fell out with big time, as big amo tried it on with negri's now wife.
Negri actually called amo in his book sleezy with what his now wife told him about big amo's behaviour towards her.

28 May 2020 18:57:53
I have never seen jim Baxter play as it was before my time, hence the reason I could never form the opinion that he was better than anyone that I’ve actually seen during my lifetime. This argument is getting ridiculous. I said the other day John, people choosing who they think is the greatest is their opinion, which they are very much entitled too. Nobody is stating facts on this matter.

28 May 2020 19:20:23
Lads it all subjective. I don’t think you can compare players from Baxters era to modern footballers. Diet, fitness and all the sport science stuff swings it in favour of modern players I think.

28 May 2020 19:39:47
A sad reply to Negris comments John. To be honest I am starting to think you might be a bit twisted and just let it go? We all get it that you think Slim Jim is your all time Rangers great, and I respect that! Just seems you sound a little bitter. Take it easy✌️✌️🇬🇧.

28 May 2020 19:44:40
Okay a couple of things here. I loved Gazza and his time here. (I even bleached my hair blonde! 😁)
I was incredibly talented and was probably the most talented player I've seen play for rangers. ( Close between Gazza, laudrup and cooper)
Was he better than Baxter? Difficult one to answer, they played in very different eras.
Was Gazza as good as cryuff? Not for me no.
Mind coop someone disagreeing with you is okay 😉.

28 May 2020 20:19:41
He was, not I.

28 May 2020 21:15:37
SGL I’m now laughing. What u mean here he goes again. I’m willing to wager Negri does not have a clue who Baxter was
U attempt to use Negri post to justify your viewpoint.
U really can’t take it when called out.
Keep it simple let’s not comment on each other’s posts.

28 May 2020 21:19:10
Not bitter yately. But I’m entitled to my opinion.
Like SGL I have followed rangers all my life. it’s about opinions or we might as well shut down site.

28 May 2020 22:04:32
SGL, maybe the Clue as to whom she liked best is in the reference to 'BIG Amo'.

28 May 2020 22:09:39
Fair play John and like I posted, I do respect your opinion ✌️✌️.

28 May 2020 22:39:41
I know someone disagreeing with me is most definitely ok mrgrumpy 😂.
Its all about opinions pal and we all support the one and only glasgow rangers mate. We ALL want what's best for our club! 👍.

28 May 2020 22:43:12
Cheers yately.

29 May 2020 10:51:49
John25,we have different opinions from time to time on here, which of course is very healthy for the site but you me and the majority of us on here are all bluenoses and love and want the very best for glasgow rangers pal! I say majority mate because there's a minority of obsessive celtic fans who come on here regularly! Its all about the rangers, as we keep telling the ANTHILL MOB! 😂👍.

29 May 2020 11:51:21
SGL I never talk to a Celtic fan on our site.

28 May 2020 15:07:06
liverpool's chirivella signs for nantes.

28 May 2020 16:09:16
Nantes are 13 th in Ligue 1 and can afford to pay him more than 35k a week without bonuses. No euro pressure. No big team pressure. Not too much responsibility. Not a team that's hated by the rest of the league. Being a team player who will earn much more than our top earner. Maybe he couldn't face playing with tavernier? Maybe Tav needs a team like Nantes. Too much pressure to perform 100 % every match.

28 May 2020 17:02:06
Rossco, where did you get your info on his salary and bonuses?

28 May 2020 17:28:35
his info is wrong. he also rejected a new improved offer from Liverpool stating he wanted more game time.

28 May 2020 11:21:31
With the lack of full backs at the club right now. Obviously we need to sign some but would anyone else like to see a 3 back? Bit of diversity if we are struggling to break teams down or if they are hurting us on the counter. I feel all we could play last season was this 433/ 4231. Can be frustrating when Tav gets caught out defensively so would be interested to see him in wing back role with 3 CBs behind him.

28 May 2020 11:52:11
I would like a flexible team formation In case need to try something different. I think the 352 formation would work well at Ibrox when we are struggling to break teams down. We would also be able to try out McCrorie at the right of the defence.

28 May 2020 12:34:45
Yeah I like this idea also - as 68 says a bit of flexibility and really the team should be trained in various formations so we can change things quickly and the players comfortable doing so.

28 May 2020 12:58:05
That's been the issue, Gerrard didn't not know when and how to change the system. Also prone for late substitutions.

28 May 2020 13:07:48
Yip, nothing wrong with having flexibility within our formations depending on who we're playing and how a particular game is panning out. Horses for courses for another phrase! 👍.

28 May 2020 13:19:08
McCrorie ain’t no defender.

28 May 2020 14:37:58
McCrorie should provide great option and cover this season able to play RB, CH and Defensive Midfield. Future club captain, knows what the club is about and ready to shine.

28 May 2020 16:22:42
Hope you are right Bankie and has definitely got a future just not sure if will be at Ibrox. Definitely deserves the chance and the rest is up to him.

28 May 2020 18:08:05
Whilst he was used as a RB at Pompey, McCrorie is never a defender and playing him there is just a waste of his talents, he’s a natural defensive midfielder and could be very handy for us when the new season begins, be like having a new player👍🏻.

28 May 2020 20:53:28
We have a manager to sort the team out.

28 May 2020 21:02:42
I've always said the lad"s best position is in central midfield. He is quick, has a great engine and likes a tackle. What's not to like?

28 May 2020 22:08:21
I think u r probably right seeker re Ross Mccrorie, however I think he offers a good option as a right back.
Many off his early games, for reserves, Dunbartonshire, Ayr and Scotland under 21s was at right back
I’m starting to feel that our manager does not see a future for him at Rangers which would disappoint me.
But at the end off the day gerrard is a better judge of a player than me.

29 May 2020 13:43:09
John25, ye, i was thinking the same about mccrorie, one minute gerrards thinking future captain, now, well, we are all guessing, i think we will bring in about 5or six first team players, before season begins, mate.

29 May 2020 14:01:50
John25, I really thought he was a stick on for a midfield role after standing out in an OF game just after Stevie arrived. I tend to agree with you that he doesn't fancy the lad or he would be a regular by now. As you say, Stevie is the expert.

28 May 2020 08:19:44
I was reading articles from some bears regarding the possibility of us signing former celtic midfielder stuart armstrong.
He's a talented goalscoring midfielder, i don't think much would disagree with that. I think we already have a midfielder similar to armstrong in our very own scotty arfield and although a good 3 or so years older, i honestly rate arfield better than armstrong.

Arfield is a total team player and his workrate is superb, coupled with his ability to make these very clever runs to make space for others, as well as getting onto things himself. Not to mention he has a good goalscoring record with us, with around a 1 in 3 ratio, which is pretty good for a midfielder. Arfield is very important to our team imo. Thoughts on all this fellow bears?

28 May 2020 10:05:29
To be honest arfields been rotten this season . I thought he was one of our best players last year . don't know if him been off his game was down to playing through the summer for Canada or maybe his age starting to show . Suppose we'll see now he's had a break.

28 May 2020 10:28:40
Steven Gerrard Loyal

On your post mate - I would take armstrong I’ve been a long admirer of him and I think he would slot into first team
There’s a lot to like about his play, character and skill

On my previous post sorry just noticed you had asked me who I would like to replace Stevie with, honest answer I don’t know

But is there a wim jansen out there for us to come in 1st time and stop there 10 in a row - and win us our #55?

Would any other manger have this time and been able too spend and bring in the amount of players stevie has without everyone and there granny shouting for his resignation by now?

Imagine stevie hadn’t the job and it was Derek Mcciness in the job would you still be backing him the way you back stevie or is it because the sheer fact it’s Stevie G

Can you answer that honestly?

Please and take this as honesty here

I want Gerrard to be successful with us more than words can say
But it’s not happening so far and i really don’t see how this season is going too change that

But I’ll side with you on players like armstrong would add quality to the first team

But players like shankland etc

There not going to stop the mob in the east winning there next title

No one will seem to answer my question about scouting will you?

Does our scouting need looked at? If we take stevie out the equation and look solely on scouting
Is there a problem there? Going on past signings who have t kicked a ball for us?

28 May 2020 11:05:24
Thestigno 1,if you look at the history of my posts mate, you will see i back every manager to the hilt, being honest i've been too loyal in the past! So the answer to your question would be yes i back steven gerrard and NOT because he's steven gerrard! As for delboy mcinnes i never ever wanted him near our manager's job mate! Deniro72,you say arfield was rotten last season and there was a quite glaring, legitimate reason for that pal. Arfield didn't get a break pre season as he continued playing with canada in the gold cup. So by the time that was finished and he eventually got his break, much later on, he had missed the pre season with the rest of his rangers teammates.
Then he had to come back and do his own pre season, thus why he wasn't up to scratch in the first half of last season. If you actually look at after the winter break arfield was arguably rangers best player again, so that for me says it all. You're spot on regarding arfield's first season with rangers, as he was superb. there's always reasons when you just take time to look, to why particular players at time are not playing well. Of course there was also the sadness of a family tragedy arfield had to take care of!

28 May 2020 11:11:25
Regarding Derek McInnes. If McInnes got us to the group stages of europa league, first season. Got to the knockout stages this season, beating Porto, Braga, feynoord etc and had been where we were at Xmas? Yes
Regarding scouts, have all our signings been a success?
No but
Katic- very raw defender but still worth more than he cost
Barisic- great player (given time) worth a lot more than he cost
Edmunson- young talented player, cost very little, good prospect. Worth more than he cost
Aribo- great potential, cost very little worth a lot more than he cost
Kamara- cost peanuts. Decent player who has been in poor form this season. Worth a lot more than he cost
Morelos- brilliant goalscorer, with temperament issues 😉 worth a lot more than he cost.

28 May 2020 11:12:06
Arfield s cracking player but Armstrong is better in my opinion. A lot more more mobile in my opinion, more of a goal threat.

28 May 2020 13:02:58
Steven Gerrard loyal I agree the players you mention all worth more then they were bought for

But what about the majority? Who have came in and we have not made anything from there is more on that side than the ones we will make from, that’s a big worry?
I won’t list them all there has been signings and there has been loans all costing the club money one way or another
The players who were on loan and have failed sat and got wages and either played awfull or never really got a game at all

And there has been a few signings that we didn’t make in and we won’t make money on going forward with age related and not playing well

If we sign players we need players either who are going g to make big impacts in the positive sense and come into the first team and get played

And we need players with potential for profit going forward

Anyway what ever happens I want quilt players who are first and foremost up to winning this league atleast a cup and at least running them very very close right to the last game.

28 May 2020 14:41:23
Armstrong all day long!

28 May 2020 15:59:36
If Armstrong is that good, why is he not getting a regular game down south?

28 May 2020 20:54:41
Sorry lads i think arfield is done was very poor last while back.

28 May 2020 21:03:06
That's right Doiger. I've watched a few of Southampton's matches on tv and 9 times out of 10 Armstrong is on the bench, and even if he does get on he never impresses. Highly overrated imo.

28 May 2020 22:14:04
Arfield is done 6counties? Aye right no chance pal 😂😂. I explained why he started this season poorly! He's a terrific midfielder!

28 May 2020 23:56:25
We must also remember arfield suffered a family loss which gerrard referenced had a devestating impact on the lad.
I do believe he will step up to the plate next year.

28 May 2020 07:48:53
What peoples thoughts on our best ever team of foreign players only and by foreign i mean no British players at all so no gazza or Hateley ect, i would go 4-4-2 and mines would be

GK - Stefan Klos
LB - Artur Numan
CB - Carlos Cuellar
CB - Frank de Boer
RB - Sergio Porrini
LM - Alexei Mikhailichenko
CM - Claudio Reyna
CM - Giovanni van Bronckhorst
RM - Brian Laudrup
ST - Ronald de Boer
ST - Michael Mols

Subs
GK - Lionel Charbonnier
DEF - Lorenzo Amoruso
MID - Jörg Albertz
FWD - Dado Pršo

Most are all players from within the last 20 years as there's been more to choose from due to the explosion of foregin signings compared to before the 90s and before the mid 1980's I didn't have the pleasure of being old enough to go and see games in the flesh these are all llayers I've seen many times play in the flesh and I reckon that team with all the players at their peak would have the potential to smash any of the current teams with current squads out there in Europe.

28 May 2020 11:01:58
Fernando?

28 May 2020 18:17:14
I thought about Fernando mate but opted for porrini as I thought Porrini was brilliant when he played for us but not taking anything away from Nando cracking player just my personal preference was porrini.

28 May 2020 20:55:22
Frank De Boer wasnt that good for Rangers, Amo all day long before him.

28 May 2020 21:04:16
I'd have Ricksen in for Porrini and Prso in the first 11 as well though would be hard to drop Mols. Great picks though 👍.

28 May 2020 22:15:06
I loved fernando but sergio porrini for me, he was a tough class act.

29 May 2020 10:32:21
What would we give for Porrini, Fernando, Ian Ferguson and say an Andy gray . we would not be bullied.
Who can ever forget Ian Ferguson putting di caio in his place.

30 May 2020 22:25:59
John.
Remember my cousin saying we were an Andy Gray away from winning the title.
Fearless in the box would have ripped this celtic defence to shreds.

28 May 2020 07:25:32
Anyone fancy fifa online against the champ lol I'm sirwalter54 on there to I've chapped Liverpool but.

28 May 2020 10:45:29
