It's been rumoured that Martin Skrtal wants around £35 thousand a week to move to rangers. That's insane money for a player who is now in the twilight years of his career. I hope to fu#k we are not stupid enough to feather his nest with a huge payoff for his retirement. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FAMOUS.

28 May 2019 15:54:31
Absolutely no chance of the board agreeing to pay that, not because they're skint, but because it would be madness

Tommy.

28 May 2019 16:35:07
How much ate the deslow.

28 May 2019 17:46:59
Macbow what the fu#k was that post about. You've obviously been sniffing the Paraffin mate. I think I will need to brush up on my gobbledegoogk lol. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FAMOUS.

28 May 2019 19:33:39
Could not cut it in Scotland, remember Bruno Alves.

28 May 2019 23:16:31
I'm quite happy to go with katic and goldson as first choice. We will need back up but I don't think we have to go out and spend a fortune on a CB👍.

29 May 2019 13:16:02
Skrtal a BIG Naw for me, Need younger hungrier players, Who would have sell on value. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺.

28 May 2019 13:07:10
JYF--you need to sit back and down some bucky---im a realist and remember the posts on here slagging him and I bet you were one of them---not on here for an argument just a point of discussion and regarding slagging one of our own, your missing the point entirely. i have already expressed my loyalty to him as a legend but you miss that don't you? ---rangers would have climbed the ladder during and after admin with ant and dec at the helm--getting paid 5 grand a week---mccoist was a multi millionaire at the time of his appointment and the salary he got paid could have went toward paying the face painters and such---so gimme a break -ive been a gers man since the days of Harold davis ---and was at the rangers disaster game and left early luckily---so get off my back----he was overpaid-end of story.

28 May 2019 15:40:10
So because McCoist is a multi millionaire and a Rangers man you expect him to work for free or work for less than he is worth? what a load of nonsense deecee. McCoist Didn't bump the face painter, why should his salary pay off debts that are not his? That's just stupidity at its finest deecee.

28 May 2019 16:06:23
DEECEE. Why blame McCoist? If you were offered a wage increase at your work, would you take ut ?

28 May 2019 16:26:25
get some reading glasses boys---I not once have said he should have worked for free--what I did say the club could have paid the face painter instead of paying over the top wages to a duff manager---"less than what he is worth"--don't make me laugh--I have my opinion you all have yours--I prefer my take on things -- he was an overpaid duff manager end of story --.

28 May 2019 16:36:48
Ans we he first arrived he was a duff player
He was fortunate that he played alongside some world class players.

28 May 2019 20:17:50
Ally bashing is beyond me
Record goalscorer n was there through thick and thin
Superally a legend.

28 May 2019 20:54:41
missing the point mate---overpaid rubbish manager.

28 May 2019 21:23:00
Deecee you really are a clown mate it’s embarrassing the things coming out your mouth.

28 May 2019 21:45:44
so, fellow clown, he wasn't an overpaid rubbish manager then--he was a great manager then---ok then--he was brilliant--the best ever-earned every penny- should have got more money. maybe got a knighthood-your the clown pal -he gave folded arms a new meaning ---#dinosaur.

28 May 2019 22:31:52
McCoist had us 15 points clear of celtic before admin, that's a pretty impressive gap for a rubbish manager. Its unfair to properly judge mccoist as a manager in the lower leagues with all the turmoil. Walter smith or alex ferguson would not have been able to do a better job under those circumstances. We didn't know if we would have a club from one week to the next with all rats tearing us to bits. Your critism of a club legend is way over the top. You might prefer your take on it deecee but we all know your full of pi$h. 👍.

28 May 2019 23:01:57
coldo-- those boards are for opinions and freedom of speech---no place for name calling like your mate gannet etal ---as I said I remember this board in his managerial time and it wasn't pretty--some even wanted him barred from ibrox for taking the money-- some supporters are either too young or have short memories---and don't take it personally lads-its just a discussion board -all your love and devotion for rangers is admirable and I get it-but reality is reality-.

29 May 2019 00:55:31
Gannet calling you names has nothing to do with me deecee. McCoist tried to keep the club together when the rats were trying to bleed us dry. Don't take this personally but you can't be taken seriously, just reality👍.

29 May 2019 06:42:13
deecee, I can see you leaving the Rangers (Ibrox surely) disaster game right after johnstone scored shouting at the players and calling for Waddells head!
What wage would you have paid a third division manager then and who would you ask. Remember the easy option was for Mccoist, Wallace, Jig (and i'm sorry to all the other staff who stayed but I've not named) etc. to walk away but no they stayed and held us together for what? Idiots calling them greedy. Disgraceful!

29 May 2019 07:36:15
" SUPER ALLY, SUPPER ALLY "

29 May 2019 08:16:59
Very very poor comment jyf towards a guy who was at that game. Also very insensitive to name drop that dark day just to have a dig at someone, one of the poorest comments I've EVER read on these pages. Surely something the Ed should be looking at.

29 May 2019 10:30:52
For me ally was no more than a cheerleader. never a tactically blessed man . but he loved rangers.

29 May 2019 12:34:59
Re deeccee and coldo it must be the wrong time of the month for you both, calm down GIRLS lol.

29 May 2019 21:03:47
Got to agree hoofharted I was having a wee look down through the comments and it seems there is a hell of a lot of sniping going on between fellow rangers fans let it go guys everyone has their own opinion but we don't need to force it down people's throat.

28 May 2019 12:24:29
As I see it, there is too much talk and not enough action when it comes to us showing what we're worth on the park. If we don't step up to the plate against the likes of all the bottom six Clubs, or those who purport to be better than us, then Celtic will win again. No predictions please, let's just do our talking on the park, as for Morelos, I honestly feel we performed better without him, we need a target man who is more of a team player, and Defoe fits that bill, his age however is a problem, so we need someone with an eye for goal to replace Morelos who will leave if the money is right and be a good support to Defoe. Don't shoot me guys, just an opinion I hold.

28 May 2019 23:15:40
Defoe a target man?! Oh dear.

29 May 2019 12:58:37
Daisy yore, Defoe has control, vision, and awareness in tight situations, something that only Arfield also possesses at Rangers just now, a target man isn't always a tall player, what would you describe as a target man?

28 May 2019 12:18:46
No rangers players in the Scotland squad got to say am glad give them a rest shouldn't be playing games in June. To be honest only really Jack would have a chance in the team anyway.

28 May 2019 12:27:59
Banxger, I agree with you, but, I am disappointed for Ryan Jack, I know the boy wants to play for his country, what I'm seeing early doors is that Clark is going to be no different to Strachan when it comes to Rangers players.

28 May 2019 12:53:12
I think its absolutely hilarious. they will be begging eck ti go back. devlin soutar. But the best ones have to be mcnulty and brophy. Leaving jack out in place of killie midfielder is also a laugh.

28 May 2019 13:50:28
Another ridiculous, short-sighted tenure of Scotland management again. I give Steve Clarke 6 months before he quits. F*** the SFA.

28 May 2019 16:40:38
The managers job is pick the best
Team he has at his disposal
At he obviously thinks that he has better players than Ryan Jack.

28 May 2019 23:16:39
Who cares?

29 May 2019 00:21:10
Indeed! Could not give a toss. Hope he fails miserably. Glad there are none of our guys in the squad. No injuries and no boos from the tartan trannies.

29 May 2019 12:51:39
So, my dhim, at least 3 Kilmarnock players are better than the same position players at Rangers?

Strange that,

Tommy.

28 May 2019 12:17:03
Well, surprise surprise, Clarke announces first Scotland squad and no rangers player features.

28 May 2019 13:51:04
The tartan bampots boo them anyway - f*** the SFA.

28 May 2019 12:06:40
Dundee united O poor old Dundee United
What a great shame you won’t be playing with the big boys next season. Feel sorry for the decent fans but not an ounce of sympathy for the clowns who were happy to fire the knife into the Majestic Glorious Glasgow Rangers when we were on choppy waters. As my big mate used to say
Hell fire it into you, what goes around comes around
Mr Thompson enjoy you financial hell you deserve it.

28 May 2019 13:51:51
Hilarious. I believe it is also described as 'karma'.

28 May 2019 09:51:09
jake hastie were here to stop 10inarow, who let's idiots like him near social media or the press, he will probably be sitting on the bench when we are trying to stop 9inarow, no wonder the press slaughters us.

29 May 2019 16:02:45
Sorry mate. It's nothing to do with Rangers, they didn't say anything, and you have just called someone an idiot, on social media, hardly nice is it,

Tommy.

28 May 2019 09:27:51
Now that Lennon is confirmed as their manager (I always knew that was the plan when he left hives an brenda left them) , do us Rangers supporters think this will be to our advantage.

Personally I think it will as he is not the brightest trouble maker and did not have any real competition before he left them for a challenge then failed down south.

28 May 2019 10:32:50
Bluebilly,
I think they have went for the obvious choice. They NEED '9' they now have someone who knows the league and what's needed, unfortunately
Next season going to be very interesting, if Stevie G kicks on with our squad.
Hard hats required!

28 May 2019 11:35:31
He is the obvious choice as their attention is really on getting 9, then 10. Lennon they see as a safe pair of hands as he knows the club and support etc.
It could, and hopefully will come back to haunt them. I remember the stress trying for caused Rangers and I expect the same could well happen here.

They will change a few players, and much will depend on 2 things. How their defence is rebuilt and how quickly it blends. and how much tinkering NFL does to their style.

28 May 2019 11:37:43
He is a good manager no doubt about that but he has nowhere near the ability or pulling power as brenda rodgers had, still has. They will lose a large amount of first team players, whether that be to contracts ending or people being sold or wanting out of the club. They do however have a much much larger budget to spend on players so this is really like us last year, they need to bring in players that will hit the ground running and that's not an easy task. I do think appointing lennon has played into our hands abit.
Just hope the 55 chat stays quiet and we get on with our own business win our own games bring in the correct players, and hurry up next season am bored at the weekends already.

28 May 2019 09:51:47
I think we might be getting a bit ahead of ourselves with this Lennon talk! Being from the same town as Lennon I've certainly no love for him. He done a decent job last time he was there and also in champions league. I cringe when I see some of the comments suggesting because Lennon got the job it will be easier to win the league. Near as cringeworthy as the going for 55 campaign when we came up from the championship!

Review Of The Day 28th May 2019

28 May 2019 07:29:13
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 28th May 2019

28 May 2019 13:53:06
They've gone for the cheap option - high hopes for next season, Lennon has the tactical nous of a damp towel.

28 May 2019 02:17:25
So after much thought, it does appear that Alfredo Morelos may well be worth his weight in Gold Thst being close to 20m

We see that Dembele scored less goals in the SPL whilst with Celtic and in fact, disinterested in his 2nd season there.

Getting his 20m move to Lyon and he reignited and could well be on the move to Man Utd for 45m

No doubt our very own (Morelos) would do something similar, may be it be one of the top sides in France, Germany or Turkey that he opts to to, he has all the top attributes to succeed

No wonder Gerrard is holding out Morelos is definitely a player worth close to 20m inthis day and age! FACT.

28 May 2019 06:39:49
Moussa steps up in big game and he scored 20 odd goals for lyon this season. Hese a top player morelos is not. Morelos has never scored against a top club or scored regualry in big game games.

28 May 2019 06:40:39
Here's a fact, not a chance of getting close to 20mil👍.

28 May 2019 08:53:29
Sorry, I can't agree with your assessment.

28 May 2019 11:03:43
The way i see it Rangers are in a win win situation. If we don't get an offer close to what we expect then we keep morelos for another year (if the player is happy to stay) and if we do get close to what we want for him we are quids in. Win win!

28 May 2019 11:40:18
I think we will see 10 million for him, any more and that's a huge bonus. His inability to stay on the park is his downfall. I would class him in the same level as Tav, his inability to deal with certain defensive situations is his downfall but his attacking play is second to none.
