Every1 sayin Rangers need to sign a defender, we need to sign 3 cb's and that's with Alves staying, but they we need at least 1 other wing back. We need 4/ 5 and that's just to sort defence out and competition for places.

28 May 2018 19:45:23
Just reading online Connor goldston had heart surgery last year played a handful of games because of swollen aorta. I hope the lad's ok but why are we gambling a reported 3m on him? Why
Same report stated Jordan Ayew firmly on Celtic radar and possibly Joe Allen again far superior quality than what we're allegedly looking at
Can't wait till SG starts and we get some clarification of budgets etc I'm not expecting him to come out and say who targets are that's just fires up price.

28 May 2018 22:23:53
The fact of the matter is Celtic probably currently have 10 times the cash we do to spend if they wanted to

29 May 2018 08:01:20
So you think if we spend 10 million they could spend 100 million I’m sorry but no chance. They have a lot of guys on big wages so if they don’t make the champions league they need there money as a buffer they are in good shape but they have a big squad with a lot on big money.

29 May 2018 11:30:37
Borderblue2, spot on.

Actually, their average wage is considerably higher that ours, however, certain players in our squad are on similar wages to their high earners, which knocks you sick tbh hahaha.

28 May 2018 19:42:02
What about B Schweinsteiger last 6 months of contract still only 33 would boss any midfield class act.

28 May 2018 21:34:11
All day long but unsure if he’d jump at the chance of playing Killlie away.

Great player though

28 May 2018 22:02:01
Because he can still get massive wages and would not want to come to Scotland

28 May 2018 22:22:55
You got bout 100k a week for wages?

29 May 2018 02:57:36
China for these type massive pension and that's a fact why are the double treble winners signing younger players? Think about it hh

28 May 2018 23:27:46
Wont command those wages at his age and the sg factor maybe appealing to him another clack at euro could also be a factor.

28 May 2018 19:10:00
Only hope the hype amongst our supporters, regarding steven gerrard becoming our manager, doesn't fade too soon, if he doesn't win the league this season! We as glasgow rangers should always expect but we also have to give gerrard time and our backing, throughout this season and beyond! We all need to be patient and give him time to build a rangers team that we can all be proud of, and with the eventuality of challenging THEM strongly and stopping their push for 10 in a row! In stevie G we trust!

29 May 2018 02:58:45
Plz believe

29 May 2018 05:58:15

Sad loss. RIP Neale Cooper

28 May 2018 18:55:18
Thoughts with his family. Sad RIP

28 May 2018 19:02:18
Remember when graeme souness signed neale cooper! There's no doubt about it neale cooper was hard as nails and a good midfielder that every team need! I remember him putting peter grant of celtic in the air, with a very hard but fair challenge, back in the days when the art of tackling was allowed! Cooper could take It and give it! Very sad to hear of neale's passing, this afternoon! So very young to be taken from us! God bless neale cooper and my sincere condolences go out to all neale's family! So heartbreaking! RIP NEALE!

28 May 2018 19:08:11
Here here lads, my heart goes out to all connected to the man, supporters and family, 54 is far too young to go!

28 May 2018 19:29:15
R. I. P the late great neale cooper

28 May 2018 20:17:45
Deepest sympathy to his family from the Rangers family 💙⚽️❤️RIP Neale Cooper

28 May 2018 22:23:47
Neale Cooper was proof that you could be a hard player but a nice man too. RIP.

28 May 2018 18:31:50
There have been a lot of rumours on loan deals for Liverpool youngsters etc. My 2 cents on this is that we will try to get our permanent deals done first and loan deals will be to supplement areas Stevie ger feels we need a little more cover. No point pinning hopes on loan deals when we are trying to build a team to challenge for the league. Pretty sure Stevie ger realises it may take more than 1 season to win the league.

29 May 2018 04:50:16
If it was solanke and wilson they wouldn't be coming to warm the bench. Most clubs loaning to Scotland would expect their players to play most games.

28 May 2018 18:30:57
Sad news hearing neale cooper passed away r. i. p. hard player my best memory of him coming on as sub his first tackle managed to put msstay and collins 4 foot in the air class heart of a lion.

28 May 2018 17:07:54
Thoughts with Neale Cooper as he fights for his life.

28 May 2018 17:49:00
R. I. P Neale Cooper

RIP neale cooper

RIP Neale Cooper

28 May 2018 16:34:14
No one from Rangers FC has said we want to sign Harry Wilson have they so why is everyone saying he has knocked us back I don't get it let's wait and see who sg wants!

28 May 2018 16:57:04
Is this a serious post or a wind up?

28 May 2018 18:46:22
I think its a serious wind up but I agree with him.

28 May 2018 15:54:46
Really wish folk would stop getting sucked in with the "media" spouting we are trying to sign any player that has even the smallest link to us. and then even worse getting disappointed when a week later it doesn't happen.

How many times have they had to backtrack on what they have said about targets, and the window isn't even open yet!

Let's just have some patience and wait until closer to the end of the window before we all start shouting about how we have or haven't backed up Gerrard with enough funds.

P. S, who gives a monkeys what Keith Jackson thinks, he's a tosser!

28 May 2018 16:04:49
Second that. Keith Jackson is a prize whalloper

28 May 2018 18:10:04
The Mhedia

28 May 2018 18:47:58
er what's wrong with being a Tosser think most guys are including me.

29 May 2018 00:52:18
Bluepete had to hit the agree button . you are a toaster lol

28 May 2018 15:24:21
Panic buttons being smashed repeatedly on here.

Let's wait until the window opens ae?

Can we please remember we've signed 3 players already and the seasons just finished.

28 May 2018 12:05:42
what about hatem ben arfa . would be a great signing available on free from PSG.

28 May 2018 12:49:55
Caused trouble at every club he has been at. Not worth the risk.

28 May 2018 13:38:24
As lazy as they come, will make Morelas look N'Golo Kanté!

28 May 2018 17:36:52
Hollow, do you even watch our games? Morelos lazy?! have a word with yourself

28 May 2018 18:23:55
morelos is not lazy, rubbish attitude yes, still young with great potential, will he be off with right offer yes,

28 May 2018 18:24:57
Huffy and misses chances but definitely not lazy

28 May 2018 18:33:24
Watch the games, I’m there every week. Morelos is probably the laziest centre forward we’ve had in years. Offside at least twice every game and only ever fakes at closing a man down, second half of the season he simply gave up!

29 May 2018 00:56:50
Totally disagree . even when Cummings replaced him for a first half when Morelos Cameron it was night and day
Can't beleive what some people veiw . boy has just had a bit of bad luck . beleive he will prove everyone wrong and become a great

28 May 2018 12:04:49
Agbroxi. Scott brown will not sign for us he is a ned anyway we are too classy for him and that other ned . just a wee joke agbroxi
Ah kn what u meant

28 May 2018 09:31:57
Be interesting to see which centre backs the club has scouted and are interested in signing out with paper talk, personally I could see us doing worse than signing mark beevers from Bolton as by stats he was the second best cb in the championship and only 28, also see Newcastle are getting rid of young Armstrong IMO he would score a lot of goals up here playing on either wing and only 21 don't think he would cost much.

28 May 2018 08:48:02
Honestly am getting really sick of this constant berating and chastising of SG in his decision to join Rangers, from the media. Instead of the media using this to the advantage of scottish football they have turned it into their little addition to attack the club. We all know we don't have the best players we all know we don't have the funds the club used too but we are living within our means. The enjoyment of telling us the club can't afford skrtels wages.
Steven Gerrard hasn't even been in the door yet and the media are drooling over the hope that its a massive implosion and the walls come crumbling down around him. They would enjoy nothing more than to watch the mans career fall apart up here then after he leaves blame rangers and claim he was a great manager its just the football club that cost him his job.
As a fan obviously i want nothing but success for him and the club, but almost on bar i want the media forced to write positive stories about our club instead of some of the tripe they come out with now.
I mean they have the cojones to write king is lying to the fans pot kettle black from half those media outlets.

28 May 2018 10:11:48
The stories in the media are ridiculous! I don't buy papers but google rangers to catch up on any news, scolling past the dribble. All the hoorah of a funfair when Gerrard signed as manager was swiftly followed by all this negativity and dragging up old history. I would call on all Rangers fans not to react to any photos, stories, captions or headlines that are put out after a bad result that make Gerrard or any new players look like poor appointments. It happens all the time, one well taken photo can make a man look a dumplin or genius. We're the 12th man on that pitch and we've got to use that to our advantage. We're not as rich as them, we're trying to build and grow, it doesn't always work out well, mistakes will happen but we are The Rangers and we know we'll topple them eventually. Do not react! let's go!

28 May 2018 10:16:48
Spot on mate, just read Keith Jacksons aricle in the Daily Record today, that says it all

28 May 2018 12:12:24
Bottom line is, Rangers were hammered and on the brink on two occasions in the last 6 years. Had to fight our way back from the third division (think if the tables were turned and it was Celtic in that position they would be placed in the third? Not a chance), certain people in the media cannot accept that a name like Gerrard is honoured to have been asked to manage the football club and regardless of such a great risk, he cannot turn it down, due to the sheer size of the club and job.

People like Jackson, Chris McLaughlin, Tom English etc can't take it.

Just wait until the tide turns and we are on top, you think this is bad when we are sitting third the past two seasons? We've seen nothing yet.

28 May 2018 08:32:48
Reflecting on league table, half team were passengers, threw away countless games, horrendous decisions against us, proven incorrect, ridiculous decisions against there opposing teams, again proven incorrect, long injury list, Could/ should have them 1st 2 games and no manager. 12 points!? Interesting.

28 May 2018 08:44:11
Careful Nsga, you will unearth the usual "and they call us paranoid" brigade". I agree with a lot of the points you are making but also think they took their eye off the ball a bit in some games and should have won the title more convincingly.

28 May 2018 10:06:32
Yeah Celtic only finished 12 points above us because they were able to take the foot off the gas due to us not mounting a credible challenge to them. They knew they league was there's before Christmas

28 May 2018 08:23:09
If you want our strikers to score you play to there strengths.
In Cummings situation I don't think wee have been. Dropping to deep for ball or going out wide to often.
He should be in and around box. Keeping CB occupied with another striker playing off him.
Not sure if Morelos us that other striker though.

28 May 2018 10:08:04
The one thing Morelos does best is keeping the CBs occupied. He bullys them in games. Just wished he'd finish the chances that get served to him on a plate

Review Of The Day 28th May 2018

28 May 2018 06:30:12
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 28th May 2018

28 May 2018 01:51:45
Mcginn would be a cracking addition to the gers midfield. tough tackling energetic midfielder who goes brick walls. though that shower from Edinburgh led by the ginger buffon and his wee jimmy krankie would definitely over price it, as done with all Glasgow transfers.
