Unbelievable today. Whether or not you agree with me is immaterial however I emailed the ticket office and explained that I had not yet renewed. I provided all my details and asked if the seat next to my mate, a few rows back, and who has renewed, was still empty. If so, I said I would renew and take it. I got a stiff, "Dear Supporter" response advising that if I didn't renew my current seat, I'd have to wait until mid June and take my chances then. Clearly, they don't need or want my £400 that badly. I know there's the renew/don't renew argument and the real fan/deserter chat which I'm not interested in but just couldn't believe that response today. Has anyone else had this chat from our ticket office?

They must be really pleased to hear from the likes of you - angry, irate and hostile.

Do you realise that when you phone up you are talking to a worker, not a director, as far as I know the directors have not started manning the phones.

Some people really do find it difficult to separate fact from fiction. Rangers Football Club is the club we ALL love and support. Rangers Directors are the ones we loathe and despise (well most of them), and most of the large group shareholders. We do not hate or despise people who are working for Rangers, trying to carry out their daily tasks, whilst being bated, harassed, harangued and vilified by 'honest' and 'true' supporters.

Support your club!

Hi Bluebell. Who mentioned angry, irate and hostile? I sent a pleasant email asking if I could buy a new seat. End of. I was surprised tony the tone if response. I am acutely aware this was a staff member and not a director. Neither did I suggest despising or hating anyone. Have a look at your second paragraph again. I have and will support my club as I have for the past 30 plus years, just like everyone else does. My point is that this level of customer service was poor. The main point was that I was was trying to renew my ticket.

Take a breath, relax and if you have a sensible, contextual response, please fire away. One thing which continues to cause a wry smile, is that we fans are all on the same side. We may all vote, live, look, act and believe differently in life, but that should be embraced. I am no more right in my approach than you with yours though so please consider that.

BBRB is your toast burnt this morning

Govan only sent an email

My toast is fine - slightly burnt with a smattering of butter and very very strong coffee.

He either protests or he does not - simples!

What he should not do is withhold his ST monies, and then try to get another seat of someone else, who is REALLY protesting - something stinks, and it is'nae ma burnt toast!

Agree0 Disagree0

See all later for a bit of Rangers Banter?

Am away to say cheerio to a very good pal - ST holder at Parkhead - will miss him loads.

God Bless.

I think I'll just stop reading this site. Bluebell, READ what I said. Asked about an empty seat. Willing to renew. I assume you can understand but no need to respond. I get you are frustrated but at least respond to the facts you are reading before going off on one. Easy now, we are all on the same side.

Agree0 Disagree0

OP are you sure you got through to the ticket office because when I was renewing I phoned three times and each time it was an English guy I was talking to and I knew the info he was giving me was wrong and when I asked to talk to a supervisor he said there wasn't one yet when I went up to Ibrox they couldn't have been nicer an confirmed that the query I had was correct.

Agree0 Disagree0

JYF, thanks for that, that's an interesting point. I'll try going over on Monday. Thanks again :-)

I think it was the 1st 2 home games of the season he started & Fosters never put in a better performance the rest if the year. So get him in the team & let him grow he's a good lad. We only get glimpses then they get loaned out Gallacher, Mitchell, McKay I could go on all day. They may not be upto it right now but look at hearts that season there they're young team blossomed. Ours should be half way there but it's not even begun yet! I guess you want Ricky Foster in the team next season then? What about Cribari should we give him another chance over Gasparotto & Halckett?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Larky bear u flipped cribari he couldnae chap doors at halloween he's tae fitba what crippen wiz ta medicine

I wonder how many of the 86% who said Kyle McAusland deserves a run in the team this coming season have seen him play or train on a regular basis.
r. f

Believable0 Unbelievable0

R. F what's your point? We'll never know how these boys play if Ally won't give them a chance. I have been to a couple of youth matches and I for one can say that some of these boys play better than half the journey men we have. They play for the badge not the money. I have faith in our youth and so does a lot of others but Ally obviously doesn't. Remember it was Ally that stated he would give some youths a chance once the league was own but never happened.

Agree0 Disagree0

I seen him play twice wi ayr and he did okay

Agree0 Disagree0

I think rf is really ally mc himself.

Rf who you bringing in for next season

Hard to believe, but I heard on the street that ALL Rangers fans are going to turn up to the first home game on mass and support the team -

Nae moanin; Nae greetin; Nae whingin.

Incredible? Eh?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Aye right bluebellsareblue. are you sure is no queens park rangers supporters,,

Agree0 Disagree0

U mmust have some size of ear and u never heard me saying that

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem being is that some people are never content, not that there is not a lot to moan about - but please give it a rest.

Congratulations to Ally and his new wife. Was it her who gave him the watch as a wedding present?

Is Boyd coming back? That has all went quiet. He is a changed man and would be an asset, especially with the youngbloods.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I know that's not true, i'm a st holder and haven't renewed nor will I until something changes big time. boyblue!

Agree0 Disagree0

It may mean to some that when they go back to renew their ST they will not get the seat (s) they want.

The only person (s) that can achieve reasonable and worthwhile change is King or someone with his financial clout.
He can buy them all out - fans cannot do this, unless they pool all their finances together - tried, but no commitment.

We either except what is happening, encourage King to make a move or move on.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 If you havn't renewed then your not a season ticket holder!

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf - and therein lies the problem. @4 has protested by not renewing, so his seat is now up for grabs, and he might not now get a seat.

ST holders only get one protest vote - no more, no less. Will it count in the great scheme of things? Don't think so.

As I have stated before, the only way change will come about will be insolvency, King or bye bye.

Take your pick?

Agree0 Disagree0

The shareholders or the keal share holders won't let it go to the wall at the present and there will be a deal to be done at some stage so an organised fans share purchase is possible but would have to be actioned now the u o f would be better carrying that out rather than jumping through hoops for king

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf, really, " if you haven't renewed your st your not a st holder ", no sh#t sherlock, no wonder our clubs in a mess, when all we have time for is splitting hairs, I think you know what I ment. blue bells are blue, wake up and smell the coffee, 14 000 st sold, will not run the club, so not renewing will make a difference, notice the club has now put back the renewal date twice, why would they do that, its called "Panic". i'm NOT PROTESTING, i'm just confused on what to do for the best of my club, not for some individuals, with my hard earned money, just like the majority of our support, st holders and paying customers! boyblue.

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 As you point out, I'm a bit thick so are you a season ticket holder or not?

Agree0 Disagree0

Had a st since they were 1st introduced, this is the 1st time that I have had to take stock of what I was going to to, with regards to renewing!
