We need a mini clear out at ibrox, Davis is main problem. He rearely plays well, and holds ball far to long when were breaking into attack. It constantly allows our opponents to get back in defence. Wylde is fast, but has a terrible touch and is brainless. Constantly makes wrong choices. We should also sell Jela, hes a fantastic player, but seems to have lost interest n recent games. We need players that give there all, we should for Obina and Templeton of Hearts, 4m double sweep. We should bid for Webo and Yakubu upfront. and hutton at rb. jela davis money would pay for this and more

Take Davis out of the team and we have nothing ,Jela starts the season slowly and you want him sold,stay of the wacky backy ???

The recent our beloved club is so successfull is because over the years that pride, success, determination and Rangers mentality has been inherited and taught...but the last few seasons a new type of Rangers mentality has been handed down and it's a slower, more complacent and more defensive mentality which is ultimately lowering our standards on and off the pitch.

So, in that regard I think a clear out is necessary but it wouldn't be mini.

As much as I admire, respect and honour Ally as a player...he is continuing Walter's approach and the players now think this is the Rangers way and not just a managerial phase or phase out of necessity.

This needs to change.

If we are going to have Ally remain manager then we at the very very minimum need some genuinely fresh faces, ideas and energy in about the coaching staff etc

I'd get rid of Broadfoot, Edu, release Big Jig, have Davie Weir in a coaching role, get rid of Kerkar, Beattie, keep Healy but give him more game time because he's rusty as hell because mccoist won't play him but he would remain in my squad. Whittaker would need brought down to earth again and I'd only start him when he deserved to play, ideally he wouldn't be in my squad at all. Goian, Naismith, Shagger, Papac would be my only sure starts. No name is bigger than the team, the club or the fans. The way Jelavic is playing lately, he'd be dropped. Davis starting role wouldn't be safe either and Shagger would be captain.

Look it's been the same dreary, tired, mundane and soulless performances...We all hoped, prayed and assumed this season would be new, fresh and exciting but it's just the same as Walter's regime only Walter knew how to make it work...Ally doesn't.

We need a total clear out. Managerial/backroom staff, players, the whole shebang.

You must be joking I agree Templeton would be a good signing but the other three are a backwards step

I agree with some points but there is no money for a clear out and then hire a decent management team, we are stuck with a lot of players that we'd struggle to sell, Ideally we need a rich investor who want a team to be entertaining and is not looking to cut corners at every turn, But i'll dream on.

After sitting through that today, i think it's clear for everyone to see we need a couple of players in before the deadline. Who? I don't honestly know, but that isn't my job I'm not a delusional guy asking for the best of the best to be brought in because i know that's not possible, but i feel a team of our stature should have a scouting network in place to bring in talent wherever it may be.

p.s I reckon we missed the boat with Goodwillie, BIGTIME He would be the perfect foil for Jelavic and i don't think we could get anyone as good for cheaper Though i think Jamie Murphy has potential and could do a job for us somewhere along the road.

Here we go again, GOODWILLIE IS NOT SOME KIND OF SUPERSTAR,wish people would get over it and realise that, in addition with the baggage he carries there is NO WAY he could have came to Ibrox. FORGET IT and move on.

2 start I am not 1 to jump on the lets batter edu bandwagon but for the people on here to say he was our best player today leads me to beleive the people on this site enjoy the odd rock off crack now & again he was f***in pish along with the rest of them the problem in our team is our players who get paid fortunes I may add can't pass a ball 5 yards without losing it and there reactions to second balls & movement off the ball are none

Didn't play well today but a wins a win. Thank god they are an international break now with all the injures we've picked up. Hopefully we will get most of them back for the Dundee Utd game. Ps did anyone else think the Blueorder were different class today? Plus it was freezing lol.

People need to stop blaming White, at the end of the day ally mccoist is the guy who brought in the players that he did, he picks the team. I am sure that a successful businessman wouldnt have authorised a bid of £3 million for juhasz if he did not have the money to give out. Another poor performance today, no class, very average rangers side. I think if they gave more of their young players first team football they would do well because they are hungry for success. Murray park is a £10 million pound training facility so I'm pretty certain that there are top quality youth players at our disposal due to all the funding that is put into the youth set-up.

Wheres the proof of 3mill bid for that defender it was papers it was in an they said 2.5 mill an he knew they wouldnt accept it whyte has no cash

We are the mighty Glasgow Rangers. We shouldn't be standing for this. Little to no investment in utterly dismal signings, Wallace and Goian excepted. Lets show Whyte who this club belongs to (the fans) and demand at Ibrox today that he allows Super Ally access to funds to make quality signings. Make your feelings known,shout it from the rooftops so this guy gets the message. Invest or GTF.

watched match of th day last night and for me it highlighted the difference in coaching between spl and epl.

with us charlie adam was a wee fatty, now hes looking fitter and trimmer. its not just about footballing ability down there athletic ability is counting also. scotland needs to catch up. thought murray park was meant to put us streets ahead ?

Edu is an amazing athlete, he could run all day long. He's still s**t at football We lack imagination and creativity, the fitness isn't an issue I don't think. We played Adam on the wing when Stevie Wonder could see he's not a winger

Totally gutted about havin no more euro football at ibrox this season - i think we defo need summer football to at least give us a chance of qualifying for european competition - its just gonna get harder and harder in the future for any Scottish team to qualify.

We are no better off under whyte than we where under the bank, debt still their accept mr tight has it now, Would he think twice about selling shagger, davis, jelevic, ibrox, murray park? Not a chance, our club is coming is getting run down frm under our noses and everytime some1 questions mr tight we aint real fans, Well maybe the 1s that are asking questions about mr tight are the 1s that are worried about rangers, I'm as much as a fan as anyone but frm day 1 when rangers guys like john gregg was ready to resign frm the board I started to worry but decided to see if the 10 million mr tight said he was going invest in the club came to the fore, well I make it 48 hours left and he has 8.3 million more to spend. And for all you lot and says i'd let jelevic go to build the team, mr tight would only get rid of him and pocket the money. A REALLY WORRIED RANGERS SUPPORTER

Big day today obviously. However for Jellavic in particular, he's been feeling sorry for himself since the season started He needs to get his head from out his arse, not impressed with his attitude at all this season.

Probably take a pounding here but I would drop him today should we have a strong enough team to do so.

Anyway whoever the line up, here's to the start of forgetting about European failures.

Mentally this is a big big game.

Right people, enough is enough with the criticism of ally. remember he is young and working under severe financial constraints. lets be honest, who else in the right mind would have stayed with us in our darkest days without a contract? the man is mr rangers and we must support him and the team.

Does anyone remember Sir Alex Ferguson being only one game from the sack at old trafford? he won hee haw for his 1st four years but now look at him?

Lets do what we Gers fans do best, show our unanimous support and come May when the trophies are being handed out then we can have a full end of season debate, not one after half a dozen bloody games

Does anybody think that there must be a position for walter at ibrox. Why would you let that kind of experience walk away.

Whyte tried to keep Walter. He did not want to stay as he believed it would not help McCoist, end of.

Ally will be the man. He understands this club better than anyone currently there, perhaps with exception to Greig.

Apart from the obvious ridiculous sham of bidding for people that we are clearly not going to get, does anybody think that the signing of older players is crazy. We know we have little money but it seems much more sensible to buy young fit players with the potential of selling on and making profit. Bocanegra for example is 32, so there is no resale value at all. Much as I hate to say it we are now longer big players but we have the ideal platform to attract big bids for those doing well from the epl.

Goian seems a good buy but again there will be little chance of making any meaningful profit due to his age. McKay is in the same boat. Would it not be better to buy young fit players with potentially big profits to be made. I think the fans would rather see a young team full of promise rather than an ageing team with players that seem past their best. Perhaps we need to have a good look at our scouting system as it does not appear to be doing much good.

Looking forward to seeing bedoya tomorrow and wish him all the best.

McKay is 28 he has plenty of football in him.And could move on for more than the £250 000 odd he came for.Even in two seasons,if he does not cut it here.Give them time there just at the club.We want to be building a team.And not worrying about selling players.Who have not even kicked a ball yet.

Whyte made promises to the fans pre season regarding funds available to maintain season ticket sales, where are the £12-14 million worth of bids on the table that Gordon Smith quoted. So far he has spent what we've brought in Surely Whyte shoud be honest with his paying customers regarding what money is available, seems to me he is playing a dangerous game with us.

If whyte hadn't bought our club there would have been no new signing, whittaker would have been away for peanuts, Davies would be away for a pittance and with shagger we may have got bout 4-5 million tops(worth a lot more but with the financial position we were in loyds would have made rangers accept any half decent bid). So everyone just think before u dart posting rubbish. We may nit have signed any superstars like gazza, laudrup or de boer but in the near future we have no chance of theses players. So take what we've got and support them through thick and thin, and remember if you start with abuse to the players their heads are gonna go down and they will play worse not better.
