Hi guys, I posted a few days ago saying I hoped we battered Morton the day. well it was another good score line and performance. well boys, it's all about promotion and then we will see if the check book opens and before anybody moans rangers need to spend, I don't care what anyone says, I just hope king and others back up their promises to the fans.

27 Sep 2015 18:38:23
Please shoot me down for my negativity .... But does anyone think our keeper is ever so slightly suspect especially when he's playing the ball out?

27 Sep 2015 19:50:59
Bornblue
The days of our goalie just humping the ball up the park have gone, thought the big man had his best game today

27 Sep 2015 20:52:17
bornblue, do you want to go back to last year with everyone just humping the ball up ?

28 Sep 2015 09:52:26
Yes bornblue, I to feel he's suspect and I also agree with watp he had his best game today. Maybe I just can't get his horror showing when we gubbed Hibs so i'm trying to give him a fair shake, time will tell.

Also to some earlier posts I truly believe this board will back us properly. I never beve4d Whyte or Greens 20m earmarked for players

28 Sep 2015 15:16:54
Born blue the easiest answer to your question mate is how many have we conceded playing out through the defence?

28 Sep 2015 18:54:18
Good to keep possesion in my eyes.sign of a good keeper is he not got much to do then pulls of a double save to keep us in the game.cammy a better keeper overall but not got what we want.sell cammy on and mould young boy into what mw wants as back up

28 Sep 2015 19:09:47
"Cammy is a better keeper overall."
I only have one question for you Davie, what medication does the doctor have you on sir?

27 Sep 2015 18:05:16
Surely it's about getting the job done as quickly as possible
Getting on with winning the league this season and planning for next season in the premiership
When we are promoted is the time to get better players in
Be they loan deals or out right buys
It doesn't matter
We have progressed since last season and we will get better and learn more as the season goes on
Give it time
There will be good and bad times but they will never be as bad as they were
Let's continue to get behind the team no matter what

27 Sep 2015 19:17:35
Guys the negative comments about our players, management team and our board are bang out of order 12 wins from 13 games and some fellow bears are still not happy about this and that.

i for one are more than happy with the football we are playing at the moment 28 goals for and 4 against 8 wins from 8 games the league is our bread and butter anything in the cups is a bonus.not since the little general have we been playing football like this and he spent 30 million in his fist season so come guys let's get right behind our great club I no it's all about opinions but all the negative ones don't help.

28 Sep 2015 15:18:30
Dougie and east enclosure brilliant lads, 2 of the best posts on here in a while, c'mon the bears

29 Sep 2015 12:24:14
"...it's all about opinions but all the negative ones don't help".
I have to disagree. Without negative opinions things may not have moved forward from last year. Ally might still have been the manager and surely it was Dave King's negative comments, and those of others, which put the previous regime under pressure and brought about their downfall.

29 Sep 2015 15:49:38
Like I said STYAB everybody is entitled to there opinion but to say it was negative opinions that got ally to go is ridiculous.it was poor result after poor result and atrocious football and bad signins with no heart that's why ally had to go not because of negative opinions and of Dave king getting in to the board was not because of negative opinions of the old regime do u honestly think that the Eastdales and Ashley gave a toss of what we all thought of them. Sorry mate but I doubt it

27 Sep 2015 16:02:02
My post may seem negative
But I am convinced we have
Already won the league and should
Be getting ready for the. Premiership I have followed
The gears over 40 years through some
Bad times when attendance dropped
It is easy to follow a winning
Team or only go to the big games

27 Sep 2015 16:48:02
Careful bowmac most on here don't like to think too far into the future. We are winning and that's all that matters to them. January will be a telling time in regards our ambitions for next season. I am still concerned that we will face a points deduction this season which could impact on our promotion hopes. I hope that our quality will mean that we will have enough points in hand to mitigate the risk of this. If we do gain promotion then King and the board will need to come good on their promises and invest heavily in the squad so that we can challenge for a European place. I doubt we will be competing for the title for a good few years as Celtic can financially outmuscle us. This will remain the case until we get some serious financial backing and, in my opinion, as long as Dave King is Chairman this will not happen. The idea of relying on money from European campaigns has been proven not to work.

27 Sep 2015 18:21:34
It's also been proved that relying on a sugar daddy doesn't work either. Aberdeen are challenging for Europe and the title without investing heavily on playing side. I'm not overly convinced about king yet every time he speaks he contradicts his last statement. But I'm willing to give the new board until the end of season to see if they come good with there promise of investing in playing squad.

27 Sep 2015 16:21:36
Bow mac I would say most of your posts are negative, but let's not forget we have two transfer windows to get us more prepared for the top league, try not being so negative mate, it's only causing people to wonder where you're loyalties lie, sorry if that hurt mate, as it wasn't meant to, just my honest thoughts.

27 Sep 2015 16:38:19
bowmac we have all been there but i would not consider the league won yet if e are in the same position at nerday then we will see we could have serious injuries and with a sparse squad of players it might not be so easy specially if eitherwallace tavernier or aghorn were injured

27 Sep 2015 18:03:01
abah thhere is no danger of a second administration

27 Sep 2015 18:20:46
rubbish, king and his crew are loaded and well connected to even richer folk and celtic Newco est 94 and 2001 filter all the massive losses they make so they're not as rich and powerful as you think

27 Sep 2015 20:54:04
BIGWULL - I'd love to hear your reasoning for that. Without doubt we are heading for some kind of insolvency event. Possibly as soon as this week depending on Charlie's court case. And sorry topher if we were actually linked with rich people we wouldn't be in the state we are now.

27 Sep 2015 15:37:07
I don't know if W&W are just stubborn or just plain daft but i think they really need to try ball in the defensive midfield position and use halliday further up the field in place of holt or zelalem. This i think would add the steel we need in those area whilst keeping the creativity. Halliday is just not cut out for tracking back!

27 Sep 2015 16:51:20
Yep, looks like the new board made a mistake. They should have appointed you. Let them get on with it.

27 Sep 2015 16:55:07
I have a feeling they are neither!

27 Sep 2015 16:40:24
Thejuanpacer: I see the point your making but stubborn? plain daft? I think the management team have certainly proved they are not plain daft, come on it's out of order to direct this post at them.

27 Sep 2015 16:41:01
well i don't think they are stubborn and they are cetainly not stupid let them do their job

28 Sep 2015 17:38:53
Ok perhaps my choice of words were not the best but my point is against better opposition, ie stronger, fitter and faster players you could drive a bus between kiernan and wilson and i just feel we need to tighten up a bit and suggested a reasonable alternative which wouldn't hamper us going forward whilst making us stronger at the back. Maybe king should have appointed me! Couldn't have been any worse than Super Ally.

27 Sep 2015 14:11:23
this i an important win today with hib dropping 2 points and keeps morton out of the running hopefully falkirk don't get a result

27 Sep 2015 15:36:45
8 out of 8 in league 9 points clear off falkirk 11 clear of hibs. 4 nil today definitely time for Warburton to go. Still can't believe that comment from yesterday.

27 Sep 2015 17:03:46
Bigwull
I think Falkirk's game in hand is against Hibs. Cancelled last month due to Scotland u21 game. So ideally a draw is the best we can hope for.

28 Sep 2015 15:24:10
Hooly, I missed that post yesterday, can you remember the name of the bright spark that posted it.

27 Sep 2015 13:24:48
Morton might be 3 down at half time but they are putting a fight a up!

27 Sep 2015 11:36:26
Hi fellow Bears. I see Barrie Mackay is back in the starting line-up today against Morton. That's great news. However, does anyone agree that talented though they are, Zelalem and Oduwa seem very skinny and lightweight in appearance? In the league we are playing in they might find it hard going physically. I would have liked to see Dean Shiels start today in stead of Oduwa, just to see how he gets on. He has more of a physical presence. I'd also play Ball at the back but don't know who I'd rest, Wilson or Kiernan. I think we'll win comfortably enough today whoever plays!

27 Sep 2015 12:11:19
Shiels instead of Oduwa, are you Ally in disguise.

27 Sep 2015 12:28:08
lw. Oduwa may have plenty of tricks but we oculd have done with goals against St Johnstone the other night. Shiels is a decent player who can score goals so less of the sarcasm please!

27 Sep 2015 14:28:58
Doiger, sarcasm or not I really cannot understand why anyone would not want to be entertained by players like Oduwa instead of the complete cr.p we were watching previously which included many players similar to Sheils.

27 Sep 2015 14:38:03
why do u want to change a winning team if its not broke don't fix it what we have too do is convince the arsenal lad to sign from january till the end of the season

27 Sep 2015 15:17:22
But we didn't win on Tuesday, that was my point.

27 Sep 2015 09:17:01
If we are happy.to beating
Championship teams then happy days
But if we want to compete at the.next level then we need to improve in all areas
Our manager said.we are in every
Competition to win it is that
Every team in our league is worse
Than us and the petrofac should
Be a shoe.in for even a good team

27 Sep 2015 10:02:14
Bowmac. Ever since you have come on here every post u make is negative. Are the team perfect? No. Does anyone including Warburton think so? No. However everyone else is enjoying the improvement. Never saw a single post from u during our 11 game unbeaten run?

27 Sep 2015 12:22:30
Well said Bluegenuis. We could win every game for the rest of the season and someone would find something negative. Onwards and upwards.

27 Sep 2015 07:23:40
Morning guys, just an observation....... As well as Rangers are playing, the full backs pushing on do worry me, and this was highlighted against St J. With both of them bombing forward, I think Halliday has to sit and protect the back two, that's where we're getting caught out, or if one fullback goes the other one sits in to make a three and Halliday pushes on, no having a dig, just an observation, I'm delighted with the transformation in Rangers since last year.
Any thoughts guys????

27 Sep 2015 08:48:43
The team needs a stronger spine with some more physical players. We have signed a lot of skilful players however we are far too lightweight. We need a strong centre half, imposing midfielder and a big centre forward. Not saying we then revert to the high ball but we need to let other teams know we are there and be a match physically for anyone

26 Sep 2015 17:39:59
we have had a great run of win and then we get 1 defeat and you come out and say the manager needs to go get a grip your the only one that needs to go and get a reality check from where we were last year and where we are now is no mean feet and the manager has only spent about 1 million give or take we don't need fans spouting that pish and calling themselves rangers men

26 Sep 2015 18:55:39
does anyone know if championship teams here can take loanees during the season same as in england

26 Sep 2015 23:48:09
Clearly there are some MINOR frailties in the Rangers side after the St Johnstone game.

Personally I would say that, there are always going to be concerns with Rangers getting hit on the break. We are an attacking team, and its great to see. We control games and its exciting to watch. Yes the opponents can thump it forward and hope to out pace the central defenders, but that's about it.

From watching Brentford, it's clear that this is always an issue. But MW solution is to score more than them.

Personally I love the way we play. It's great to watch.

Once we are in Europe, I wonder what will happen.

In Walters first spell we weren't too successful in Europe (apart from 92 / 93). And in his second spell he realised we needed to be defensive. And in the UEFA cup run, we defended the whole time. It was terrible to watch, but it got us to the final!

27 Sep 2015 10:00:35
I agree with that. But I would rather watch the game last week that what they did to get to the final. We r doing good as long as we get back to the premier
