This polish team have played with 7 youngsters that have came through there academy this season. largest transfer fee they paid in there team is 900k. Team is built on free flowing attacking football home or away but are very weak at the back. Benfica beat them 4-2 which backs up the report I read. seems there defenitly there for the taking and can take 6 points of them.

They are going to come and have a go which should suit our European style of counter attacking with pace. Will be interesting to see how he shuffles things about with Sunday and the plastic pitch to consider.

Away from home I'm not so sure but I'm willing to go with the experts on Polish football who think they will attack. 🙄

Ed, can l ask a question?

My previous post l used mhanks but it was changed to Celtic when posted.
I see on that site a post refers to us as the manky mob. Is it the h that's the problem here? or is it just the decision of the ed that's on at the time?

I know it's a bit my da's bigger than your da but thought I'd ask.

I remember years ago when I was in primary school I used to find it funny calling celtic different names smeltic was the favourite. Now I find it funny the amount of grown ups who still can't find it in them selves to write the word celtic. 😱😱.

Hello Fellow Bears,

It is really good to be in the position we are at present but keeping my feet on the ground. Although it's still nice to rub the Celtic noses in it just now. It makes me cringe a bit when you see how they lick the a#$e of basildon.
I don't get onto live chat every game but will try Thursday. On that can we all put forward a united front? Disagree with each other certainly but we are all teddy bears. Can we leave all the nonsense in the rearview mirror and start again KJA9, Coldo?

I wouldn't gloat too much about their financial update. We will be in a similar boat I fear. no matchday revenue etc. Albeit we did have some extra income from Europe.

What we can gloat about is the pish that they put on the park at the moment.

Bluenoseday, The big difference is their fans believe that are cash rich. Their revenue has dropped from over £100 million (2018) to £70 million (2020) but their wage bill hasn’t significantly reduced. The sales of Dembele and Tierney have made a difference to their accounts but things have changed significantly so much so they’ve increased a credit facility from £2 million to £13 million to provide cover.

Hewhohearavoices we have lost over 10mill every singles seasons accounts. So don't expect these to be much better. We need to sort of start adopting there model of buying low selling high. Win the league tbis year then players can start movimg on for big money. Kamara, barisic morelos would almoat certainly balance books.

It will be interesting to see how our finances are doing. Not sure when our accounts will be released. With the signings we made this summer without bringing much funds in I felt that we had to sell one of our players for big bucks to balance the books. However, we had a share issue that kind of went under the radar when Stewart Gibson bought 5m of shares, we did well in Europe and James Bisgrove has secured some really impressive commercial deals that are of financial benefit to the club. Tomket tires, 81 Energy Drink and also the Castore deal to name a few. From memory I think we lost 11m in our last accounts. I think we will see some improvement on that even after spending a significant sum on players this summer.

Celtics finances will have taken a worse hit than ours because their wage bill is significantly higher but they have plenty of sellable assets like Edouard, Ntcham and Ajer who they will receive top dollar for no doubt. Edouard is good but the others are garbage but Celtic always seem to do well when selling players. The bottom line with their finances is that if they didn't sell Tierney last summer they would have been reporting a loss of 20m. That said they probably wouldn't have spent close to 20m on players so its horses for courses I guess.

Over the past few months I have seen comments such as McGregor, Davis, Defoe too old, Tav never a captain, Goldson bombs care, Helander too slow, Barasic take the money, Jones and Barker waste of a wage, Morelos waste of space, Kent never a seven million player, Can anyone help me out here as I am having difficulty remembering which site these were on?

BB they were all on the site that allows everybody to look silly by doubting our manager and captain - remember everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Unfortunately the same site does not name and shame those fans who would have thrown in the towel and dumped our manager and 50% of our players after about 6 games this season given half a chance!

They know who they are as do we so when we read their next lot of comments we can just smile!

Whole site seems to be getting on well. Why do you think people get off bringing up old comments especially when the team is performing so well and instead of coming on and even having a laugh and a gloat and moving on we’re still seeing same posters coming on bringing up the past to start off In my opinion a divide and just a general down feeling to the site
Maybe that’s just me?

This will be the last time I comment on it though as i do t hang on to things it’s just not me and I’m a genuine happy person who likes to try get on with folk even behind a keyboard.

But if its negative posts about wanting managers, captains, players, boardmembers sacked then go check celtics site as its now full of them.

BMG, I don't think I'm a better supporter than anyone else but I do think I have a right to defend the players and manager against a tirade from fans who love to be negative and over the top with it.

Stig, calm doon man I thought you were unwell the other day? It doesn't get me upset but I'm entitled to criticise your and any other opinion especially when it is against the club. You can then say what you like in return - its called opinions, debate and banter, nothing more.

BB and Grumpy only pointing out the same that a balanced view (positive and negative) is about right for a supporter of a club with the traditions that we have - leave the excessive noise to the green room.

My post was a bit tongue in cheek as I was thinking how quick we are to judge our players, myself included (didn, t rate kamara) sure we are all entitled to our opinions but let's just think for a minute, if collectively we had got rid of the ones we didn, t like who would be playing on Thursday. Saw my first Gers game in the 50,s so I have seen a lot of players not up to Rangers standards but if they wore the shirt I willed them on, always will.

Nearly up the AE last night maybe should have went but anxiety got the better of me and waited too see how bad it was going to get never had any real health problems before.
Bloody doctors won’t see anyone down my way not sure why there called GP any more they won’t see anyone
