Any1 agree that we should try and bring in another striker given the number of games and it only takes an injury to defoe or Alfredo.

So you want to bring in another striker who won't even make the bench most weeks as emergency cover? And where will we get a player good enough for us but willing to do that? We already have Stewart, who has been designated as our third striker, and we have at least two teenagers who would be a better option than some third-rate panic signing.

I'd like us to bring mbude, young-combes and atakai into first team squads from time to time as season goes on were going to need to use them imo. The league will be won by scoring goals so we need fredo/ defoe/ Kent fresh and rest them when we get a chance.

The manager has already said Defoe will be fit for the weekend. As for Morelos getting two successive red cards, that's just hysterical nonsense. Have a lie down.

No the manager DIDN'T say defoe would be fit for the weekend mate. He said they were hopeful he would be and would monitor him until sunday.

I see the young boys had another good away result in Europe last night, Young=Coombes in particular is doing the business, wouldn't hurt to give him some first team experience soon as a sub and give him 20 minutes or so to see how he copes at a higher level.

I think Morelos has improved his behaviour on the park this season bigtime, but I worry about the games against Celtic.
They will do everything they can to annoy him and there's only so much someone can take before reacting.
Hopefully he can keep a lid on it.
But if he can ignore them and play well and score against them, Celtic fans will have no more reasons to rubbish him in any way, and maybe then accept he is the best striker in Scotland.

I’m confident his behaviour will be fine and he’s in the form of his life, we may see some goals in the next derby from Morelos, however I have absolutely zero interest in whether opposition fans hold any opinion of him or view him as the best striker in Scotland, that’s what fans of our club believe and based on form it’s true, they can rubbish away till their heart’s content, their opinions don’t matter a bit to me, the only external opinion that will matter is the club that is breaking out the chequebook in the summer IMO. 🇬🇧.

Graham, this only opinion with no real substance but feel Fredo on-field behaviour improved immensely since being benchmark ed each week with Defoe. Maybe even Defoe sharing his experience.

If we were to add 3 rows to Govan stand, how much would this increase the capacity? And if we were to lower the pitch how much would this increase capacity? I'm in favour of filling the corners with seats I know this is the most costly but how many more seats would we get if we done the corners?

I believe corners about 5000 extra seats other option about 2000. I’d do both.

Recall statement from our MD frw months ago that investigating options for additional rows with seating in currently underused areas around the ground. Believe he said at time could increase capacity by a few thousand. Agree longer term should fill in the corners.

The corners were thot to be filled before but a study hi lighted it would cause a wind vortex . Maybe different now . Lowering the pitch . oh my god it takes me all my time to climb those club deck stairs as it is lol.

i think lowering the pitch will add to limited view seating which we don't want. filling the corners to me is best albeit most expensive option. stop that wind howling along the main stand.

Bgate, from cost/ benefit position only real option is filling in corners. Lowering pitch, seats u mentioned would mean minimal additional seating, would create h&s issues etc etc. Would suspect filling corners create extra 20k seating. Personally would love new 70k all seater stadium in Wembley style roofing and seating. Marketing potential would be immense. In current situation wonderful incentive new chairman, investors etc.

I'd keep Murphy just now can't afford to lose attacking options for the run in. Doubt we will see them all gone in January as Alnwick etc are out of contract end of season so reckon that will run down. King loan will expire. If fod goes though I'd like to think we leave mcrorie where he is unless mcgergor takes an injury as he is getting vital games and only recall if required (if that's an option mid loan)

King did say a squad reduction in January then significant incomings in summer.
Clearing certain guys out is not much of a money maker, number off whom are out of contract in june.
