More money to waste, or should I say pocket, this club is a prime example of how not to run a football club.

I will never go to another game Rangers died 3 years ago.

Again were is the money they are suppose to be pocketing? Accountants wouldn't. sign accounts off if they couldn't account for every penny, there is no cash because there is no cash coming in, whyte & green stockbridge all left some time ago. If you believe Rangers died three year ago why do u bother commenting about them and the finances as in your eyes they don't exist.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 there are ways to legally siphon money out of a club and accountants would sign it off if it was legal ie paying each other over inflated wages giving each other bonuses for this and that giving each other massive pay offs when they leave these vultures are not daft mate they got megga rich by being unscrupulous but by staying just inside the law

Agree0 Disagree0

@3:Correct mate, millions was used to pay all these "consultant" fees, but legally a service has been paid for and it is nigh on impossible to prove any wrong-doing has occurred. This trial might shed some light on some of it.
I do think now though, it will not be anywhere near as bad as under Green, Stockbridge etc, purely because as rf stated, that money is gone and nothing is coming in now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunatly the accountants put this little ditty in to cover their backs :
Comments from the club's independent auditor, Deloitte, added: "The group requires additional funding to continue to meet its liabilities as they fall due.

"The group has made key assumptions in relation to its ability to secure further funding in addition to the timing and value of season ticket income, increases in matchday income and sponsorship, the timing and value of dividends and further cost reductions.

"These conditions around the need to secure further funding, along with the details provided in note 1 of the financial statements, indicate the existence of a material uncertainty which may cast significant doubt over the group's ability to continue as a going concern and therefore that the group may be unable to realise its assets and discharge its liabilities in the normal course of business. "
In other wards,, we think they a bad bet but they assuring us there not? but we want nothing to do with it. and as such we are out of here.
There is nothing remotely good about this or previous accounts no matter which way people gloss over them. Yet another blame the fans etc for boycotting season tickets nothing about the "the great club robbery" we have had to endure since Green etc got their claws into us.
More money for??
Enough is enough the begging bowl scenario is becoming a monthly bloody ritual.

The Rangers fans board had their November meeting yesterday with the club. Has anyone seen or heard of any output from this meeting? If I was the board and this was an even close to amicable meeting I'd be keen to share the propaganda asap??

DAVID SOMERS ---- WHAT AN UTTER POMPOON ( A WORD WE USE IN AFRICA FOR A REAL A*******) Do you really think that we the supporters of this club are as gullible as you appear to be ---- 1. Group revenue increased by 32% to £25.2m 2. Retail revenue +375% to £7.6 3. Sponsorship and Advertising up by £1.5m etc etc etc ad nauseum --- Please hurry with your next epistle and EXPLAIN WHY YOUR BOARD HAD TO BORROW £3m!!!! --- Your incompetence fits you like a glove -- you have no more love for Rangers Football Club than fly in the air.

Mccoist says he no intention of leaving that's because he only think of himself & his £400,000 wages.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

27 Nov 2014 15:43:08
It is sad but everytime I see McCoist face now I get as wound up as I do with Whyte and Green, he is a liar and as bad as both. even today immediately got to chip in he will be glad to give evidence. hmmmm Ally maybe if you had stood up to Whyte or Green or Mather or Easdales etc etc back then we still might care what you say Ally . Rangers will never move forward under him and the muppets. I dread the potential of the Celtic scoreline if they go out to make a killing we could lose 10 if that hearts team can do us 2-0. I pray for a cup tie tight game low score. george

Yes ally bought into whytes ideas but so did the fans who read what he was going to do along with the 50,000 who cheered and chanted his name at ibrox he also gave green his backing but again so did thousands of fans who read and listened to what he had to say whilst buying season tickets outside ibrox. hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 perhaps it's you that's the muppet, the guy who tried to start the revolution and found that he only had five or so followers so never even introduced himself.

Agree0 Disagree0

2. ) My mind must be playing tricks with me. I remember a huge majority of bears not trusting Green one little bit until Ally decided to get right behind Green and tell everybody what a great guy he was.

Suddenly queues for season tickets appeared. All down to Ally the legend.

Agree0 Disagree0

Derek Johnstone says he was disgusted that his pal ally got abuse on Saturday, another ex player who won't say anything against him, this is from a guy who last 30 days as Patrick th manager. ally go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf: That is a bit harsh, most people, I'll include myself, were quick to poo-poo most of what george had to say in the early days of this debacle. It now transpires that most of it was correct with more to follow at this trial. You say he is a muppet because he had a go? He's a muppet because no one listened?
The man spent a lot of time and money handing out leaflets, trying to get people to listen. He is far from a muppet in my opinion anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 good post, and you are right but what I am saying is George started off with something to say then got lost and now resorts to silly personal insults to our management team which does not do him justice. George's message at the start was that we were being ripped off no more or less and I already knew that and no one has come up with a viable suggestion as to what we can do about it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf: Correct mate, I've been known to dish out and receive insults myself.
Its part of the reason we are divided as fans. I agree that personal attacks on McCoist are futile because it seems we are stuck with him, although I would like to see him replaced personally, as do most of the fans going by this site, various polls and other forums. The problem is coming up with a viable plan to move forward. The attacks on McCoist will continue, that is just a fact.

I think my point of view of being at the game & getting your point across is far better was proved in the paper Sunday & monday when they reported that the fans at the game chanted ally ally get to f***. You very seldom if at all read about fans showing there displeasure on a fans website.

good luck to you mate may aswel chuck your money down the drain none of it is getting spent to improve our club chancres are still at out club cause they are still getting money I remember watching documentary on Swansea football club when all there fans untied together and forced change our support seems incapable of doing this such a sad state of affairs

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2014 14:17:24
Would love to know what money goes into there pockets there is no money that's why ashley is proping up the club with loans to keep us ticking over and as I've said before if fans don't turn up the club makes no money which in turn would mean the loans cannot be paid which means more loans secured against more assets until such times there are no assets left for security then what ashley (provided he continues loans) or whoever owns everything.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2014 16:17:14
right now they can not gain loans against ibrox or murray park already they have sold our merchandise contracts to ashley loans secured against edmiston house and albion car park they can not take anymore away from our club at the moment now is the time to force them out before they can secure loans against ibrox murray park before we have nothing left

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2014 19:21:08
But that's the point Craig they won't be forced out and it won't be long before Ibrox, Murray park are used as security then ashley or whoever gives the loan will own everything and if they don't have the best intentions for the football club then what? The club goes into admin someone picks it up for peanuts & then this is the rub it will cost a fortune to buy back the assets from ashley or whoever, only way to get them out is hard cash now it would be cheaper in the long run.
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2014 20:43:45
the only reason they will not be forced out is cause they still have paying customers who they treat like idiots we can seriously make a point now and every single fan stay out the stadium this how Swansea forced change and buy marching on the streets if this opportunity is not tain now then wee may aswel forget it cause they will have everything
even if we offered them 20 30 million I still don't think they would sell to us the fans or any other rangers men they will only sell to another man in there wee cleek

the long arm of the law has caught up with whyte in mexico they must be meaning buisness after the trouble he has caused club I would go and bring him back myself he probably have to be formally extradited

Believable0 Unbelievable0

27 Nov 2014 11:15:28
Finally will this mean justice for rangers? And what about Charlie boy and all his cronies will they be having a few twitchy moments at the thought of whyte coming back and singing like a canary

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad Whyte has been arrested and hopefully truth will out. I don't really understand any of this but if the sale to Whyte was fraudulent can that have any positive repercussions for us? Would we be due any money or compensation? For the club not Murray as I think he still deserves much of the blame? Ae there repercussions for who does or does not own the assets? Is that why board won't give guarantees re loans? A script writer couldn't make this stuff up and believable!

Agree0 Disagree0

Stefreid: No expert myself on this, don't think there will be any monetary gain for us as is, but by all accounts it will be a big trial with lots of witnesses and productions. SDM and Mr Smith have been allegedly cited so you can be sure there will be lots more. When its all over we will have most, if not all the answers we seek.

Anybody that knows my past posts knows I indicated there were 'others' involved in the planning of this fraud and the fraudulent handing over to Green by means of accused Fraudsters Duff and Phelps.
The main instigator in all this was Andrew Ellis he tried o do the scam a year before and failed it, was only when Green/Ahmad/Stockbridge got together with Ellis and Whyte that they managed using Withey at Collier Bristow to 'fabricate' a good enough looking package to "Dupe" Murray and allow TSB to get what they desperately wanted. The lack of adequate due diligence was a total disgrace as this deal would never have made it through any normal due diligence proceedure for a deal of this size involving an institution such as Rangers FC and multi millions. That apart the complete process from beginning to possibly even now is founded on a massive fraud and this will potentially turn out to be the largest ever fraudulent scheme in the UK, the figures involved for 'missing' un accounted for funds is over 50million pounds

Hoping 7 to 10 year sentences are handed out to all of them.

"Justice for Rangers" how does arresting a cretin bring justice to our team.?
Everything done unfortunately was done in the name of "RANGERS".
The people in charge the owners etc are in effect "Rangers" so anything done be it win cups, give out to charity's etc etc is done in our name, not the people at the top? if there is nasty stuff to come out its all been done under the "Rangers" banner in our name?? so don't start that justice nonsense, we sat back and let this shower of,, crap besmirch the great name of Rangers us the fans we clapped them in we sang their praises?? until we weren't happy. No change there unfortunately. and will most likely do the exact same again and again.

Agree0 Disagree0

George I applaud your apparent knowledge of this debacle. I like probably all bears would like to see those persons jailed for how ever long. but how does this help us just now. for me this only adds to the already gaping wound that is Rangers. i'm afraid it's the fans who ultimately continue to suffer through this whole sorry saga. we are a laughing stock both on and off the park. unfortunatley we will still be in the same position even if guilty verdicts are handed out to those involved. we will still have a manager who is completely inept, a team which is probably the worst I can remember and fans squabbling amongst ourselves.

Agree0 Disagree0

George - you went on at length about the long game and the stadium robbery so what's Happenin with that?

whyte arrested in mexico!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Boyblue: Its superb that the wee tadger has finally been captured, but a good lawyer could tie it up in allsorts of red tape and spin it out for a long time.
His arse will be making buttons, so he will try every delaying tactic there is.
Then again, after a week in a Mexican jail Barlinnie might not seem to bad a prospect. lol

So the UK has jurisdiction in Mexico?

Agree0 Disagree0

In Bar Whyte will be on protection, but he means nothing in Mexico. He will be just another Gringo bitch over there.
Poor wee Craig.

Agree0 Disagree0

UK has an extradition treaty with Mexico. Whyte can I surrender to the treaty or challenge it in which case the authorities in both countries will have to find good cause in the treaty to extradite him back to the UK.

Craig whytes in the uk, court appearance tomorrow then first night centre for the weekend. Hope he is f***ing terrified!
