Rangers r getting 20 million for this summer nd 5 mill for the next 4 summers though they are not spending too much.
they will look to freshen the squad by bringing in 4-5 players.then they will wait and see what happens

I've heard this rumour before is it actually the truth that a manager get's 20% of any transfer .
surely not. as that opens the door to a lot of trouble for future transfers in that a manager could but any player for X AMMOUNT ONLY TO GET 20% OF ANY TRANSFER, SURELY THAT HAS LEGAL IMPLICATIONS marty bhoy

Lovenkrands never was, is, can be or will be good enough for rangers. he wasnt good enough 1st time when he was a pace merchant. he's older now n lost the yard that allowed managers to think he was a player. if he signs and i was kyle hutton id be chapping mccoists door n look for a transfer.

Lovenkrands was predominatley played wide left when he was at ibrox, same place kyle hutton is playing now. a few goals don't make you a good player - anyone else remember bert kontermans screamer against celtic at hampden n he aint making rangers greatest 11. lovenkrands is pants and if your happy with players of that caliber you would be as well sending the league trophy t the piggery the now.

hi bears first up I'm a celtic fan ( appologies ha, ha ) listen good luck to you guys for the last 3 titles, you did deseve it & no matter what anybody says the table NEVER lies, any way it will be interesting to see what sort of formation wee Ally puts out, I mean we know that under watty he learned his trade but surely as an old centre forward he would really . really like to attack, I could read between the lines when he & watty were having a chat when thing' s were'nt quite working out that he looked a bit frustrated, but when walter used to play against us I used to think " please play only 1 up front" as it was easy to get a grip of the game, then when he sort of changed & played with 2 or even 3 up front what a difference it made & you looked so much more like the old gers when it was so much more entertaining, what's your views bears, & be gentle marty bhoy

My mate was speaking to Novo in Silverburn today and he said he fancied a move back to ibrox. would love him back but can't see it tbh. neither can i see miller, cuellar, sebo coming back either. Miller, if he does return, will go to Hibs on a long term deal and end his career. stated a few yrs ago.

And how much would their wages be? More than Rangers would pay, I'm guessing. No doubt some Rangers fans will think that Whyte will bankroll massive wages but where would the sense be in that?

While the Robbie Savage rumour is just that, a rumour, it is not outwith the bounds of possibility. Money talks and in Savage's case, he could play for Rangers and still do his media work. His views on Scottish football are just that and views and opinions are there to be changed.

Savage has said on the radio that he will not play again ever so put that to bed an i don't want him anywhere near ibrox hate that guy an he is sh*t

Ed any rumours on Healy's future? Rangers through and through and a far more useful squad player than Diouf imho. Looked sharper and fitter and less of a liability. I know the guy is a cult hero but definately not a step forward!

{Ed010's Note -David Healy has became an enigma over the last two seasons. It was not that long ago that he was one of the "hottest" goalscorers in Britain and in particular on the international stage with Northern Ireland. His injuries have been unfortunate and resulted in him losing his place in both his club and international team. Although he has made sporadic appearances with both since, he has been unable to discover his true form due to not being a first team regular. There is no doubt that he could rediscover his goal scoring prowess but I don't know if it will be at Rangers because at the moment, he would not be a first team regular and I can see him moving on to obtain this.

He has never had a great record at club level ever ed so don't know where ur coming from with that

The message is scaremongering tactics to the Rangers fans but even more importantly, the underlying message to the Celtic fans, is that they must not worry as Rangers domoinance will only last for another 3 years.

Craig Whyte is committed to Rangers and has pledged Ally McCoist the bare minimum of £5,000,000 over the next 5 years. If he were to sell up in 3 years, it would need to be to a person or company that meets these conditions. I believe that Mr Whyte will be the Rangers owner for at least 5 years and probably well beyond.

Nugget, you don't even know how much cash whytes giving you lol it's 25m over 5 years 5m would only mean 1m a year. ye might be in crisis but its no that bad

It quite clearly stated in two seperate stories, that Rangers have been bought over and their bank debt cleared and on another page that Celtic went nearly £10,000,000 into debt trying to buy the SPL title and that the figures for the last 6 months will show them nearer £13,000,000 in debt with dwindling crowds and falling season ticket sales falling dramatically.

{Ed010's Note - In February 2011 Celtic reported that their bank debt had increased to £9.1m with an overall profit of £7.1m in the six months to 31 December due mainly to the £9.5m sale of Aiden McGeady to Spartak Moscow. With no large tranfer fee in this half of the year to wipe out any operating loss, it has been suggested that the bank debt will increase to £12m - £13m and their previous overall profit will become a loss of about £2m. This figure is mainly due mainly to a decrease in season tickets and corporate hospitality.

Unfortunately, I cannot pinpoint where I read the article but will concede that these figures are speculative ones but the people in the know, are not usually wrong as us Rangers fans can testify to.

Ed, ive read about our bid for Lazhar Hadji Aissa, and that his work permit has been turned down. You any idea if we are to appeal? This is usually what happens i believe?

{Ed010's Note -The work permit was declined because the regulations stipulate that a player must play in 70% of his country's international matches in the past two years to be eligible for a work permit - a criteria which the Aissa failed to meet. Whether Rangers appeal is anyone's guess.
