Lovenkrands never was, is, can be or will be good enough for rangers. he wasnt good enough 1st time when he was a pace merchant. he's older now n lost the yard that allowed managers to think he was a player. if he signs and i was kyle hutton id be chapping mccoists door n look for a transfer.

hi bears first up I'm a celtic fan ( appologies ha, ha ) listen good luck to you guys for the last 3 titles, you did deseve it & no matter what anybody says the table NEVER lies, any way it will be interesting to see what sort of formation wee Ally puts out, I mean we know that under watty he learned his trade but surely as an old centre forward he would really . really like to attack, I could read between the lines when he & watty were having a chat when thing' s were'nt quite working out that he looked a bit frustrated, but when walter used to play against us I used to think " please play only 1 up front" as it was easy to get a grip of the game, then when he sort of changed & played with 2 or even 3 up front what a difference it made & you looked so much more like the old gers when it was so much more entertaining, what's your views bears, & be gentle marty bhoy

will any off the released birmingham players be looked at by super ally. .ed any comments??
and no-more silly comments on sebo joining or cuellar arrriving ass he is injured for 3 months so pointless me thinks
{Ed010's Note -I have no doubt that Ally will be paying particular attention to the three EPL teams who were relegated, in order to identify any player that may do a job for us. A problem exists however, that not only Rangers but some of the lower end EPL clubs and the newly promoted clubs, will also be looking at any of the Birmingham players, as well as Blackpool and West Ham. If Alex McLeish is resigned to losing his players or has already lost some of his players, then I have no doubt that if the topic of Rangers comes up, he will have only good things t0 say and that has got to be an advantage.

Ed any rumours on Healy's future? Rangers through and through and a far more useful squad player than Diouf imho. Looked sharper and fitter and less of a liability. I know the guy is a cult hero but definately not a step forward!
{Ed010's Note -David Healy has became an enigma over the last two seasons. It was not that long ago that he was one of the "hottest" goalscorers in Britain and in particular on the international stage with Northern Ireland. His injuries have been unfortunate and resulted in him losing his place in both his club and international team. Although he has made sporadic appearances with both since, he has been unable to discover his true form due to not being a first team regular. There is no doubt that he could rediscover his goal scoring prowess but I don't know if it will be at Rangers because at the moment, he would not be a first team regular and I can see him moving on to obtain this.
Believable0
Unbelievable0
He has never had a great record at club level ever ed so don't know where ur coming from with that

Ed. Have you seen what brian dempsay has said about whyte and what he thinks his plans are?
Ryan/casey
{Ed010's Note - I have read Brian Dempsy's statement and it smacks of being a message to both Rangers and Celtic fans. The message is scaremongering tactics to the Rangers fans but even more importantly, the underlying message to the Celtic fans, is that they must not worry as Rangers domoinance will only last for another 3 years.
Craig Whyte is committed to Rangers and has pledged Ally McCoist the bare minimum of £5,000,000 over the next 5 years. If he were to sell up in 3 years, it would need to be to a person or company that meets these conditions. I believe that Mr Whyte will be the Rangers owner for at least 5 years and probably well beyond.

Some names I have heard linked to Rangers, like Sol Campbell, why would Rangers sign him, he is way past his best, and frankly, is dump!
Also Alexei Eremenko, on loan at Killie last year. He is definitely not good enough for Rangers. He played 31 times in the league for them last year and scored 4 goals, this is nowhere good enough for Rangers being title contenders every year, when we have the likes of Stevie Naismith and Kyle Lafferty scoring 10 + goals a season each.
I'm not sure about Eremenko either but you have to take into account who he is playing for when he scores 4 goals in a season. With all due respect to Killie, how many goals did they score this season compared to Rangers? At Rangers he would spend much more time in the opponents half than he does at Killie

Glasgow rangers have made 3 top targets, mcoist is looking for a centre back with experience. A utility man for midfield and someone to partner jelavic. The rumours going around govan and the supporters buses from Stranraer who have alot of connections are David vaughun will sign a 3 year contract at around 10,000 a week. Spurs are interested in bougherra and are using bassong or kaboul as bait. And the striker is not goodwille because of this court case but is carlso vela on loan. They are also saying that moist is going to follow in Walters foot steps by spending his 10m on 2/3 players. Quality over quantity as he is impressed by the youth coming through and can trust them to step in when needed. If I was looking at 2/3 players i would go for Barton, Bartley and Weiss

P.s how come the ed doesn't put up anything fae tims and the hoops ed puts up all your muck??
{Ed010's Note - Robbie, I have uploaded part of your post in order to answer your question. Any Editor can pick up any teams posts if the dedicated editor is not available. If the author wants an opinion from myself, being the Rangers Ed, it is left until I am next available. That is why the Celtic Ed will publish posts on the Rangers pages. I work on the principal that any post that makes reference to sectarian issues, uses "colourful" language and that includes masking words with asterix or question marks, using derogatory remarks and using defamatory language, will not be published. If a post is written in a civilised manner and the grammar used, conforms to site rules, then it most certainly appear on the pages, the only exception is when there are duplicate posts on the same subject matter.
Unfortunately Robbie your dozen or so posts do not conform to any of the above and this can be confirmed by your sectarian use of the word "tims", even though it is in reference to you and your fellow catholics.
So there it is, I have no problem in uploading any post from you or any other Celtic fan as long as it meets the above criteria.
Robbie, you never know, by spending so much time on the Rangers pages, you may get a hankering to start supporting the current league champions. {Ed010's Note

Its meant to be a banter sight and if I don't mind being called a tim why should that bother you? Tim is nowt to do with religion. I think you should lighten up a bit pal, it's no the gaurdian you work for. and i've never sent anything sectarian what so ever, suppose you won't post this either eh?? how is saying yous are a crisis club sectarian?
Robbie Keanes Right Peg
{Ed010's Note - Robbie, I don't actually take sugar in my tea because like all other Rangers fans, I am sweet enough and don't need to use external additives to make something appear different from what it actually is.
The use of the asterix and question marks to substitute letters in words that are abusive, is just not accepatable and they will not appear on the Rangers pages, no matter what you think. I will concede that we all understand what you are trying to say but this website is visited by children who have an interest in football and I feel that I have a duty of care, to prevent them from being abused. Surely you must agree that we must always protect our children from abuse.
Robbie, I actually agree with you with your third point and this is a rumours and banter site but that is why it was split, allowing fans to post opinions, views and rumours about their own club. It is therefore nice to have you onboard as one of the newest Rangers fans.
I also appreciate the fact that you don't find the word "tim" derogatory but other Roman Catholics and in particular, Celtic fans, don't share your values, indeed, I would imagine FARE would be most displeased with your statement.
Finally and I will skip past your "lighten up" and "Guardian" quips because I obviously hit a raw nerve, you are entitled to your opinion that Rangers are a club in crisis but have you not been reading The Guardian newspaper. It quite clearly stated in two seperate stories, that Rangers have been bought over and their bank debt cleared and on another page that Celtic went nearly £10,000,000 into debt trying to buy the SPL title and that the figures for the last 6 months will show them nearer £13,000,000 in debt with dwindling crowds and falling season ticket sales falling dramatically.
Robbie, crisis......what crisis ?

(LOUD APPLAUSE FOR THE ED)
Is it really the case about there accounts? Can these be viewed any where by the general public? would love a look.

{Ed010's Note - In February 2011 Celtic reported that their bank debt had increased to £9.1m with an overall profit of £7.1m in the six months to 31 December due mainly to the £9.5m sale of Aiden McGeady to Spartak Moscow. With no large tranfer fee in this half of the year to wipe out any operating loss, it has been suggested that the bank debt will increase to £12m - £13m and their previous overall profit will become a loss of about £2m. This figure is mainly due mainly to a decrease in season tickets and corporate hospitality.
Unfortunately, I cannot pinpoint where I read the article but will concede that these figures are speculative ones but the people in the know, are not usually wrong as us Rangers fans can testify to.

RANGERS FC
I DONT QUITE UNDERSTAND HOW WE ALWAYS
GET LINKED WITH SOME OF THE MOST
AWFUL PLAYERS. HONESTLY I MEAN SUTTON
, EREMENKO AND HUMPHREY AND SUCH BUT
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE OLD RANGERS
THAT USED TO BRING IN GOOD TALENT
I MEAN WHO ARE OUR CLUBS SCOUTS I WOULD
BE GOING FOR PLAYERS WITH TALENT AND
EXPIERENCE BUT ALSO PLAYERS THAT LOOK
PROMISING IN THE FUTURE WE DONT NEED
BELOW PAR SPL PLAYERS THEIR JUST NOT GOOD
ENOUGH
RANGERS NEED TOP RECOGNISABLE PLAYERS
IN THE WORLD A TOP WINGER FOR THE CURRENT
SQUAD WE REALLY NEED AND YOUNGER
TALENTED PLAYERS FOR BACK UP SOME EXAMPLES
THAT ! ARE! NOW AFFORDABLE NOW
QUARESMA
DSZUDSZAK
GUARDADO
EMMANUELSSON
ANNANIDZE
BEN HATIRA
HEUNG MIN SON

Totally hit the nail on the head. Although we still aren't the richest club around we should still have a bit of ambition, and i think with a few quality additions we could go another we European adventure (most likely in the Europa League) and progress through the groups of the Champo League. That would be fantastic. It's not always about who has the most money, we have an instilled work ethic in the dressing room and a will to win, what we lack sometimes, in areas, is the quality or technical ability to do damage to top sides. Jelavic + quality partner, Davis + Quality creative player( e.g proper winger) and a new solid defence + Greegsy. . .Who knows? Dream big(ish) lol

Ed, ive read about our bid for Lazhar Hadji Aissa, and that his work permit has been turned down. You any idea if we are to appeal? This is usually what happens i believe?
{Ed010's Note -The work permit was declined because the regulations stipulate that a player must play in 70% of his country's international matches in the past two years to be eligible for a work permit - a criteria which the Aissa failed to meet. Whether Rangers appeal is anyone's guess.

McCoist has very good links to the English leagues, because of his playing days with Sunderland, and also because of his work with 'A Question of Sport', and will look to take advantage of that and bring in some players from the English leagues, as well as from the SPL and other European leagues.
How long did ally play in England ? He played with a large amount of English players at ibrox. How many football people do u see on question of sport ? He was in the itv sports team !

The Welshman has yet to decide where his future lies, and that s why the Seasiders are hopeful that one last effort could change Vaughan s mind.
The Gazette understands an improved offer will be put on the table within days.
Even so, Pool know they face an uphill battle to keep Vaughan.
He has plenty of options, with Glasgow Rangers, West Brom and Everton all monitoring the situation, along with Sunderland, and Stoke the latest club to be linked with the 28-year-old.
All those clubs can offer top-flight football and Vaughan is unlikely to want to drop back down to the Championship whatever Pool offer.
