Good to see mccrorie near to return. I remember when I came on here in December to say he would be months I was slaughtered for making up stories.
Looks like I was correct again.
Hope he is fit for Celtic.

27 Mar 2018 13:45:21
I was too jboy. We must be the only ones with the finger on the pulse!

27 Mar 2018 14:32:56
The seeker agree. It seems some people know best lol
Hope he starts kicking a ball soon, see how toe stands up to it.
Also he has been working upper body in gym, so as to be stronger

27 Mar 2018 15:33:26
I think it’s imperative he is fit for the semi final if we are to have any chance of winning.

27 Mar 2018 15:49:36
Colster if fit where would u play him. Beside Docherty or at centre half

27 Mar 2018 15:57:18
The lad has some dig sitting just in front of the defence. People have said he would slot back in to defence but I'm not so sure. I think the cdm role is made for him

27 Mar 2018 16:31:09
Seeker agree long term, him and Docherty good pairing, I. Was thing of semi. Also next season where to play jack

27 Mar 2018 16:44:37
IMHO, ross mccrorie's best position is centre half although can cover the defensive mid position! He's got a bit of pace for a centre half and that is mccrorie's natural position!

27 Mar 2018 17:02:45
i personally like McCrorie in defensive midfield. Where he ends up might be dictated by our transfer activity eg. if we can get a good CH pairing in then let's move Ross forward. In terms of where Jack goes, i really only see him as a squad player. Have not been overly impressed and see him as a bit of an afterthought already.

27 Mar 2018 17:32:24
We have a great opportunity in pairing two centre backs for a long term future in McCrorie and Bates and to suggest playing McCrorie in midfield, an area in which we now have plenty of cover, is crazy. We still have Dorrans and Jack coming back from injury and although some doubt Jack and his disciplinary record, fact is two reds were overturned and he's been outstanding in most of the games he's played.

27 Mar 2018 17:41:03
Agree Fraser good debate to be able to have.
His true position is right back. So is versatility is a big advantage for us.
Mark my words his goalkeeping brother has a massive future as well

27 Mar 2018 17:45:34
outstanding? most games? Nah, not for me. He has been part of a midfield earlier in the season that was powder puff and had some awful results. I could count on the fingers of one hand the games I would say he has had pass marks in. If we are talking of a team to get us to 55, him and Bates are squad members and that's it.

27 Mar 2018 20:23:58
Happy with mccrorie to play either. Whatever is needed at the time. Guy is a 100 percenter every game he plays.

27 Mar 2018 20:26:51
jboy17.defo centre half. purely to give us a bit of pace👍

27 Mar 2018 20:28:44
snell. back under the duvet mate🙄

27 Mar 2018 21:16:50
Jack looked solid before his injury and has been missed

28 Mar 2018 08:39:27
Colster

The semi final is less than 3 weeks away and he hasn’t started full training yet. You can forget him playing in it

28 Mar 2018 10:13:48
Mccrorie has been in full trining for over a week, he had no time off during international break.
Needs match time though

28 Mar 2018 09:45:05
I love a fast, mobile centre who can pass a ball and not just kick it in a sixty yard clearance. I think Ross McCrorie is perfect for that.

28 Mar 2018 11:31:21
I’d try n play McCrorie and Bates together asap. Let’s see if they can be our CB pairing for years to come.

28 Mar 2018 13:33:44
Scotty123,i said exactly what you said 3 weeks ago on here! I said going forward i'd like to see a future rangers centre half pairing of david bates and ross mccrorie, starting next season!

28 Mar 2018 23:15:34
Would be very mobile and I am hoping we get Bates signed up ASAP. I'd be happy with them.

27 Mar 2018 09:58:44
There is a real danger before the split that we could end up third or fourth unless we bounce back against Motherwell. We play Motherwell away and Dundee at home.

Aberdeen - St Johnstone (h), Motherwell (a), Hearts (a)

Hibs - Partick Thistle (h), Hamilton (h), Ross County (a)

They are only 2 and 6 points behind us respectively with a game in hand. Hibs have the easier run and could well pick up 9 points. We need to hold our nerve and win the next two games and hope that they both slip up.

27 Mar 2018 10:19:16
You're right. Amazing who quick tho us can turn around. A couple of weeks ago we were getting excited about the title. Now we might not get second. There's also a real chance of Hibs finishing 5th if Kilmarnock keep their form going which would be great after Lennons "Hibs are the 2nd best team in Scotland" comments at the start of the season.

27 Mar 2018 11:11:56
Yes Mikeger. I'd love us at least to finish above Lemon and McInnes!

27 Mar 2018 13:00:50
So Doiger, you have no interest where we finish in the table as long as it is above the teams managed by two guys you have a dislike for.
Crazy!

27 Mar 2018 13:16:51
to be fair STYAB he did say "at least" and we ain't going to win the league and finishing ahead of those two least means we secure second! the split worries me to be honest, a lot closer than it should be!

28 Mar 2018 09:40:48
Doiger, you're a glass half empty kinda guy. To me the games in the run in are a no brainer, save Motherwell which could be hiccup, we have nothing to fear, Dundee, God my sisters team could beat Dundee. Onwards and upwards.

28 Mar 2018 11:02:01
Millerbrandwilson. I think Hibs and Aberdeen are coming into a run of form at the right time and we stuttered in games where instead of gaining 6 points we got zilch. We've to play them both after the split and we could easily end up finishing fourth! A combination of poor finishing, bad luck and injuries hasn't helped our cause but surely Murty can lift the boys for one last push?

28 Mar 2018 19:16:16
Yip. But these teams have to play each other so will take points of each other.
Relax
