Does anyone else here look at that little propaganda app on the iPhone! Don't know who writes the articles think it might be ally himself it's patronising to say the least! Also I see jig is starting the managements phrase we weren't at our best today after one of tour games can somebody tell me what our best is? Jesus wept! Ally said it after nearly every game in two years so we have never been at our best! Who's fault is that

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We have already played 7 pre season games with 2 more to come so we sure as heck should know by now what "our best" should be like.
I agree the statements from the touchline do NOT impress me one bit but we are stuck with them for the time being. Same can be said about McCulloch, he's been a great servant but his pilot light is now flickering too much and he should be put out to graze

Agree0 Disagree0

Steddy we are supposed to be playing thistle in a closed doors match, I think its today? but I haven't found any confirmation of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

i see a phillip nash has joined club what is his claim to fame or who is he lackey for green lexey or another some other financial guru anyone know

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wull this was the statement from the board

Mr Nash, aged 42, was a senior executive at Arsenal FC from 2001 to 2008 and then joined Liverpool FC as Chief Financial Officer, serving as a board director for three of his five years at the club. At Arsenal he delivered the financial strategy surrounding the club's relocation from Highbury to the Emirates Stadium and during his tenure at Anfield he played a leading role in both safeguarding the financial stability of the football club and its subsequent growth.

I am surprised there have been no comments (good or bad) about Philip Nash being appointed a director.

In my opinion His cv speaks for itself, he has the experience of working for big clubs and is also a shareholder

I hope he can use that experience and work with Wallace to turn us around

JG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jg here is my thoughts on philip nash he is a good friend of mr wallace who was bruoght on board by charlieboy so imo mr nash is another guy who will be dancing to whatever tune charlieboy wants him to dance to charlieboy still owns all of his shares he has took plenty from the club and is still calling the shots imo still bleeding us dry known a lot will follow on

Tmwnn - That list of business executives under the total control of Green is getting more impressive all the time, maybe he should run for prime minister with all the influence he has managed to gain only with a few million rangers shares

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Jg ime not sure if you were being sarcastic but the way I see it is the season ticket holders are now paying for anothers yes man rangers can ill afford all these people people we hadnever heard of at the start of our troubles

Agree0 Disagree0

JG, tmwnn was trying to make a simple point and, personally, I feel your sarcastic response was uncalled for. Always remember that in every walk of life the person up front is normally the monkey and not the organ grinder. Green is a con man, being operated by others. I have my thoughts on who, but no facts, just as I assume like yourself.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb cheers for that mate but I've always noticed jg appears on this site to tell us to buy shares he always backs the board especially when someone has a pop at charlieboy ime begining to think jg is gaelic for jharles green as I pointed out on here about a year ago

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy - its a banter page mate, or at least its supposed to be

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Jg with the way you always back the beard and charlieboy and with all your knowledge about shares and politics why don't you try getting elected as ehh ehh anything we know you know everything about everything

Agree0 Disagree0

It is JG, so just reflect on some of your posts and stop acting like a school teacher. It is one thing to get your point across, just try not to be so blunt and may I say, sarcastic. Humour will help us through this season so it is essential, but sometimes it's a fine line.

@4 billyb- "I have my thoughts" now imagine I am writing this work of fiction about the fall- near rise and nearer fall again of a once famous football team. In this work of fiction, which you as a critic for the Auchtershoocty Financial Times are reviewing. If I mentioned two fictitious possible string pullers who, if you suspend disbelief, I name as Murray and Whyte would I be panned by your critique in this nationally read broadsheet as my novel was too unbelievable?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear I said the same on here away at the start so I must ask have you seen some of my books and not declared to the publishers your stealing my stories lol lol how are you doing pal

tmwnn I never claimed to be original but maybe great minds think alike here?
Now about another post of yours when your talking about Kenny Miller running his guts out- have you ever had one of these hot currys called Mad ar se?
If women who complain about the pains of childbirth just trained on these currys waen production would be a cake walk

OMG naebody has ever been this deid

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear lol although I think miller will run his guts out I would still have prefered younger options that could get us a return for our money and not a pension book

All this stuff about the Rangers Board, Ally McCoist being a poor manager and so forth has been going on for too long now. We've been hoping that a knight in shining armour might ride along with millions and save our great club but it hasn't happened. The well-meaning, but misguided action to withhold season ticket renewals will only ultimately hurt Rangers. If true blue Rangers fans really want to do something why haven't the fans en masse to together an put money in a pot to buy a stake? I for one would pledge £1000 for such a cause. 30,000 Rangers fans doing the same would raise £30 million. Trouble is we need a leader to start the ball rolling and a trusted keeper to guard the money. In the event this doesn't seem likely we should now get behind McCoist (for now) and the team and turn up in big numbers every week. What good will it do if the team plays in front of crowds of 15,000? If McCoist's results are poor by Christmas, i. e. I mean Rangers are trailing behind Hearts & Hibs in the Championship, then surely the Board (and fans) would force him out? WATP.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Doiger I have been saying this for long and weary even so much per month we call ourselves the best support in the land yet both hearts and motherwell to a lesser extent have shown us the road the leaders of the various factions have been brainwahed by king or don't want there power disolved I know one man who put a suggestion to one leader and the answer was :whats in it for you: that says it all surely someone could rally to the cause as a leader its not insurmountable if eeryone put there shoulder to the wheel and the ticket embargo just drives board into a corner and will probably force another round of borrowing

Agree0 Disagree0

Doiger, Your sentiments are well intended but will not solve our predicament. I would rather we were exposed for the shambles that has developed since liquidation than continue in the downward spiral. The current club is a pathetic shell of Rangers and our proud history.

Agree0 Disagree0

At 1 and 2 above there is such a vehicle and its called "Rangers First" (Community Ownership). All it takes is a substantial proportion of Rangers support to invest £500-£1000 each and the fans (Rangers First) can secure a significant share holding to influence the clubs direction. Problem is that not enough fans have engaged in it.

It seems we all essentially agree but do not have the will to do anything about it.

As has been proven on here we are to busy arguing about ally, season tickets, midfielder or right back to put our heads together and do something . as the wee guy says in braveheart "we couldn't agree on the colour of s#!?*.

@4 That pretty accurately sums up the situation

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 3 and 4 agreed. We are a substantial support although nowhere near this 5 million worldwide nonsense but a hopelessly divided support and all guilty of thinking- plenty of other bears will do it. No they won't as has been proved. Unless you me billyb, tmwnn, bigcol, jyf, blue velvet et all do it then we will never own a controlling interest in the club. And stating the even more bleeding obvious unless we have a controlling interest then the club's future is not really secure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mols I will look into that on monday but why is this not reicving more publicity who runs it and what has it achieved iam quite sure with a lot more publicity this could make a big difference

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks mols I have signed up for monthly donation it does not tell much about who runs it but why do I have to find this out courtesy of yourselve there does not appear to be much publicity about surely all bonafide supporters clubs should be written to and offered this to give to members I have been going on about this for months without anyone mentioning the existence may billy b andoiger and co will maybe sign up also

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear, I think we all agree where we would like to be but our biggest obstacle is the co-ordination to get us there. You might not believe it, from my recent posts, but I detest negativity. Unfortunately, I cannot see the way forward, at present.
If possible and most of all practical, I would gladly put cash towards a Rangers, based on Struth's standards, but there will always be people that would only do so for financial benefits and not for the good of our proud traditions.
There are many supporters of the same mind but our major problem is being able to eradicate the parasites.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb ime with you on that post at n2 I think most of us want to know why we know we were test case for tax mob but there is a lot more to it than tax reasons no club as big as ours should ever be hounded like we were without cause know ime like loads of us I want to know what caused this the real reason

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jul 2014 23:17:04
billyb agreed. Like you I will throw in a pound or three with the right vehicle for true change. However I am in shock that our support can forget just who much money Green Mather Stockbridge aye and McCoist have squandered in the last two years. £70million ffs have things been so bad that we are just immune to this level of folly and forget how much has been thrown away? Unbelievable time fur ma holiday.

Agree0 Disagree0

Boys I have looked at it and if rangers first is not the right way to go forward what is it is specifically to buy shares what more do u want if as u say u would make a donation what more do u want I had 8 bond seats and lost it all I looked carefully at rangers first everybody moans and groans abot board macoist and everything associated if u beleive what u post u should be making a small donation at least after all u critise board a nd king for not putting hands in pocket it looks like pot calling kettle black now

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck wull61, you will need it. Personally, I don't believe in chasing a lost cause. A good sensible business plan is far better than chest beating.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb I agree I was reading elsewhere as soon as people start buying shares then shareprices go up I know that's natural but read once these hedge fund mob see an interest in shares they sit ven tighter than before ide rather see us going into addmin again than to think I was givin these greedy feckers more money ffs they've blew 70 million I 70million and they want more they got there investment back at ipo give them no more
