I fancy Motherwell to take points off the sheep tomorrow. Our goal difference is healthy. If they do drop points i'd be confident 2nd place is in the bag. Who knows we might even catch "them". Futures bright, futures Murty! What a player Goss is!

27 Feb 2018 23:40:30
Another good result and four goals, def going in the right direction, will only get better, didn't expect them to lose against Aberdeen .
They seem to lose games when it's unexpected but who knows, a lot of points still up for stake and def think standard of SPL much harder, teams tend to play on the deck and don't see any easy games, only good for Scottish football, pity the European body and SKY tv keep throwing their cash to the so so called elite,
£160 million for team getting relagated from EPL and pittance to SPL teams stinks of rich getting richer and poor getting poorer .

28 Feb 2018 12:58:28
Cancel your sky in protest i've done it

27 Feb 2018 22:03:28
Has anyone heard how Jamie Murphy is?

27 Feb 2018 23:11:10
A lot of folk on social media saying it looked like Murphy said ‘I think it’s broken’ from the BT coverage.

Please no. 😑

Our luck is unbelievabke, he’s been class and the centre of everything good about our play just now.

28 Feb 2018 01:46:33
Said it earlier. We start dropping like flies in the lead up to every game against them. He has been a standout as well Unbelievable!

28 Feb 2018 06:53:59
I think if Murphy was told his toe was broken he would still want to play that’s the thing with the boys we have brought in they want the shirt, they want to go out and perform it ain’t about the money it ain’t about looking good it’s about putting us back up the top where we belong.

28 Feb 2018 08:50:06
Years ago they uses to jag the toe and strap it to the next one. My dad who played in the Scottish and English top flight back in the fifties played a number of times with broken toes. Mind you they had a lot better protection from heavier boots back then

27 Feb 2018 22:00:32
Great performance again tonight! Lost a cheap goal but that first half was crazy the passing and movement of all the players was top drawer. I really hope we can keep goss he seems so comfortable on the ball and creating things with that wand f a left foot that and being backed up with docherty seems we can turn defence into attack in seconds. One thing for sure is we need left back sorted cause Halliday is not the ideal person to play there in old firm he lacked a bit of pace and few times was caught out few time also stupid booking too.

27 Feb 2018 21:54:25
This is the first time in god knows when that I have actually went into every game confident we are going to win. With all due respect to St Johnstone these are games that Glasgow Rangers should be going into with no doubts we are going to win. It's great to finally have my Rangers back. Onwards 🔴⚪🔵.

27 Feb 2018 21:53:16
St Johnstone are a joke. Hammer throwers doesn't even begin to cover it. How they had 11 players in the pitch by full time is a mystery.

Standard on the lead up to an Old Firm, yet again, one of our best performers is hacked down. Not even a yellow card. Hope Murphy is not out for the Old Firm game.

Another great performance from Rangers again, loving watching us right now.

27 Feb 2018 23:44:03
Murphy a doubt for celtic game saints player got away with the foul a joke

27 Feb 2018 21:48:35
Well played tonight total domination right through out the 90mins on to the next game

27 Feb 2018 21:18:37
Goss looks like a player of real potential. Maybe worth around £4m or so if he finishes the season strongly. I'll take him for another seasons loan if we can't sign him permanently. Cheers lads well played.

27 Feb 2018 21:36:10
Tricky game with horrible conditions. Mon the Gers. Job well done lads.

27 Feb 2018 22:03:12
pitty about our poor defending at times because we now have scored 3 more goals than the unwashed

27 Feb 2018 22:35:56
GOT. Goss has been influential and had a great start . However 4m 😱- was purchased for 500k and couldn’t force his way into a poor qpr team . Let’s give him time and hope he performs well in the next old form game. I have a feeling 1m would be enough to get him.
Great win tonight and keeps an unlikely title push going- if not then a valuable 3 pts to secure 2nd

28 Feb 2018 09:58:47
lots of good performances last night. front 4 all clicked with full backs bombing on and doc doing great work screening back 4, breaking up play and building attacks.

But Sean Goss was the star composure on the ball, touch, range of passing the lads different class we have to sign this lad permanently or another loan.

27 Feb 2018 20:38:47
Brilliant stuff from the guys. Light years ahead and strolling it. You know there is a right good team there. All of Murty's signings have been very impressive. Just a couple of observations though - 1. How did their goalie stay on the park after the foul on Morelos? Was that not an automatic red card? 2. When the referee sees a player blatantly kick out at another player should it not be a straight red? It's different if the ref hasn't seen it but that was not the case as he brandished a yellow card. Mystifying!

27 Feb 2018 20:45:56
Another great team goal . definitely good work being done on training ground starting to show been a while since we could say that

27 Feb 2018 21:04:14
Have to say Sean Goss has been absolutely brilliant

27 Feb 2018 21:38:57
The boy Goss looks class. What is he tied to at qpr? They surely can't keep him from joining us permanently.

27 Feb 2018 22:35:35
Unfortunately he's QPR's player so if they want to keep him they can.
Obviously you never know what will happen and going by his performances so far it would be amazing if we could retain his services.

27 Feb 2018 22:39:21
They have him contracted for a couple more years so best we will manage is a loan but having watched qpr a few times this season he may well find himself in the picture down there

28 Feb 2018 09:55:33
The pen is a genuine attempt for the ball, yellow card in my opinion. The blatant kick is a straight red, how the ref / linesman missed it is a joke.

28 Feb 2018 09:59:01
Goss is definitely worth trying to sign.
And if we can keep up a wee run of results then this season is not over yet.

28 Feb 2018 10:01:35
Great result, first half was scintillating stuff.

The keeper was right to stay on. The rules have changed to avoid double jeopardy. It's only a sending off if you make no attempt to play the ball and the keeper came out clearly trying to block his goal, that's why Morelos touch was to go wide of him then score before being fouled.

The kick out at Bates could easily have been a sending off.

Also, I've no idea why the boy didn't get booked for the foul on Murphy. We are adding to or injury list because our players get very little protection from refs.

27 Feb 2018 18:55:09
Elton injured tonight?

27 Feb 2018 19:14:43
Aye heard this last night. Rumours are it's a hamstring and 4 weeks out

27 Feb 2018 19:19:19
Hamstring injury fingers crossed either him or wallace are back for the mhingers🤞

27 Feb 2018 19:46:17
Groin injury

27 Feb 2018 20:14:49
Big blow if John out but gives someone else a chance. Hopefully another player dying to get game time and prove their worth to manager.

27 Feb 2018 20:41:08
Aye groin problem. Halliday has done well though. Not been troubled at all mind you

27 Feb 2018 20:54:11
Halliday is awful and has given the ball away too many times. Can’t afford to have him at left back against that mob

27 Feb 2018 23:16:28
Halliday did okay tonight but would be a major risk playing him at full back against Celtic. Predict John willl be back for Celtic and that Halliday will get nod against Falkirk in the cup.

28 Feb 2018 01:50:20
Hope you are right and John is back

28 Feb 2018 10:02:25
Halliday is crap, can't play him against Celtic, Wallace is fit so play him v Falkirk.

27 Feb 2018 18:42:33
Should the champions league not just be for teams that have either won their domestic league or cup competition?

27 Feb 2018 19:11:30
You would think by the name. All champions should qualify for group stages and rest of spaces handed out according to co efficient placing.

27 Feb 2018 22:47:23
Really sorry but I don't agree, the Faroese champions play out of 2000 capacity stadium and would struggle to compete in our junior leagues so why would you want them making the group stage of champions league!?

27 Feb 2018 13:24:52
Any bears going to perth tonight take care with the weather, tonight is going to be tough saints look as if they might have realised they have ended in a fight for relegation, we should win and hopefully pretty comfortable but we shall see, anyway bears as before keep safe if your heading up tonight.

27 Feb 2018 08:59:43
Great result at the weekend hopefully follow it up tonight with a good win won't be easy as we know how stubborn st Johnstone can be as we found out to our own detriment not too long ago.
Hope Murtys right about Docherty and Jack for Scotland's future let's just hope our two players don't act like wallopers on the pitch like the guy they could be replacing.

27 Feb 2018 08:47:32
Let me say first and foremost, that i'd wanted rangers to sign greg docherty from hamilton accies, for the last 18months! I said as much on these pages! IMHO 600k is an absolute steal for doc! Even hamilton manager martin canning reckons that although the 2 james's,
mcarthur and mccarthy, were superb midfielders, and have been hits down in england, since being transferred from hamilton, he stated that docherty could prove to be the best midfielder, of the 3!What a compliment that is! I honestly see shades of steven davis, in young docherty and again what a compliment that is, that i'm paying greg docherty! Our rangers fans are comparing him to durrant and stuart mccall etc, but i truly think his style is much similar to our former captain, steven davis! What's other bears thoughts on this and what's your opinion here ED?

27 Feb 2018 08:56:51
He will prove to be a very good bit of business. I'm just delighted we have heart and soul back in club. Players like doc, Dorrans, Murphy etc will make others no what it means to pull on the famous blue shirt. I really feel we have finally turned a corner and it's bright lights ahead. Get Jordan Jones In next and sign up the loans. Onwards

27 Feb 2018 10:08:51
Would love us to sign our loans mate, ie. sean goss, jason cummings etc! Jamie murphy is a given as a permanent deal kicks in, for him, at the end of the season! I honestly think russell martin will also become a permanent signing for us, this summer!

27 Feb 2018 10:37:42
Martin for me aswell mate. I like the guy. Goss I doubt we will get. But you never know. I'm really liking Jordan Jones. He has a swagger when he plays and for me that shows desire to win. Get them all signed. Cummings young guy and not really had much game time. I think loans have been great.

27 Feb 2018 12:44:44
Supercoop you'll have to back up that brag with proof. I don't recall it but I might have missed that day.

27 Feb 2018 16:42:02
You compared holt to Durrant as well 😞. I do agree that Docherty is a top talent, a steal at 600k.

27 Feb 2018 16:54:49
Kfraser, i'm sure the ED would back me up here, on this one mate! That i posted a few times that rangers should sign greg docherty

27 Feb 2018 16:59:48
agree docherty will go on and be a player and a half but certainly don't see any similarity's with davis, however imho he reminds me a lot on ian ferguson sitting reasonably deep with a bit of dig and a great engine for a B2B midfielder

27 Feb 2018 18:06:28
Nice to see that your hanging on my every word, COLDO!

27 Feb 2018 18:10:14
Rabc10000,was steven davis NOT a box to box central midfielder, with a terrific engine! I beg to differ from you mate, because i think there's most definitely similarities between greg docherty and steven davis! Both were also very tenacious midfielders mate! All about opinions i suppose!

27 Feb 2018 19:13:21
can vouch that i remember coop bigging up docherty for a good while on here. only thing is, coop loves to big up everybody to the moon 😉

28 Feb 2018 09:50:19
Just don't want you to jinx the boy docherty with your comparisons, cause let's face it holt is no durrant and we all know how mckay worked out when you touted him to be the next big thing👍. To be fair you're due a correct prediction👍. As I said, I agree with you about docherty👍
