Dennis Law documentary on Sky, " THe Law Man" worth watching. Story of Dennis" career with great coverage of his time in Italy, Wembley 1967 and his exit from Man U in 1973. Great coverage of World Cup 1974 where Scotland were undefeated. Some wonderful players in that team.

I'll look out for it Bankie in the future. I like watching those type of documentarys. He was well before my time but obviously a true legend of his time and one of the greats.
A time when Scotland were actually quite good at football.

Great result against Hibs but should have scored more goals.

Never a penalty for Hibs Hagi never touched him.

Celtic struggled to score against Hamilton Juniors in the first half, we beat Hamilton big team 8-0.

Win our next two games and we will be a minimum of 19 points ahead.

Usually watch timco games Graham mate, resisted watching their Hamilton game as was expecting them to bump up their goal difference like we did against Hamilton.

DK19 I am 100% correct on that matter it’s dangerous play and a lot of people on here need to take the blue tinted specs off as it’s dangerous play and he doesn’t need to touch the play for it to be that.

Also I don’t think it’s a pen I think it’s an indirect free kick.


If it was in the other box folk would be cracking up in here for not getting anything.

KJ, are you Coldo with your 100% correct comment?

Unless I’m mistaken, the rule is that you play to the whistle. The ref is 100% correct until it is overridden by a mysterious appeal committee.

If you were 100% correct, most overhead kick goals would be disallowed and by it nature it is dangerous play to have your foot above your head.

Obviously that is not correct whether your glasses are blue, green or pink.

Why have we got to take our blue tinted specs off? If I want to stick up for one of our players I will, if you are saying that was a stone wall penalty then perhaps you should get some glasses blue tinted or otherwise. The player went down holding his head, why?

Fair play KJA9, you did not say it was a penalty and I was wrong there but you are of the opinion that a foul was committed in the box I am not, you might be 100% correct in your mind that does not make you 100% correct, there are a few who don't think its a penalty including the ref. You also say if it happened up the other end we would be shouting for something that's not true, I don't see any posts about the foul on Tav where if he had gone down then surely a pen would have been awarded or the portious challenge on Roofe in the box where he went over the ball and into Roofe making contact with the ball with his thigh, a red card on its own. Rangers always seem to sit back and take any criticism thrown at us and when our own fans are happy to argue our opponents case then its no wonder.

Tavs wasn’t a pen and the one on roofe was a stonewaller and a red card I have said that further down.

It’s dangerous play the hagi one but it’s fine and dusted we won let’s move on to 3 points against st mirren.

KJ spoke to a former grade one ref this morning.
Hagi overhead kick is dangerous play. He says no contact therefore not a penalty. He feels it should have been an indirect free kick to hibs.
Also he said some refs may consider hibs player guilty of exaggerating contact and could have been booked for simulation. He said he would not have booked hibs player as can’t prove it.
I learn something all the time

The Kent Dilemma.
I posted an opinion in November that Kent was currently the weakest link in the starting 11 due to performances.
Over the last few weeks that has turned into fact.
He now has the following unsavoury traits that all wingers need to avoid:-
He can't beat a man.
He's tripping over his own feet doing stepovers.
He gives the ball away far too often.
And more worryingly he is going down to easily, culminating in an embarrassing booking for diving.
In his defence he isn't hiding and still demands the ball.
And he still gets respect from the opposition team who mark him tightly.
His other saving grace is that both Aribo and Hagi have risen to the occasion in recent games providing goals and assists so we aren't relying on Kent to provide chances for others.
Fingers crossed the early season Kent returns for the Old Firm game.

What bothers me is all players will go through bad patches but the way Kent is judged in comparison to Morelos is MENTAL.

Unfortunately my opinion on Kent hasn't changed much. He flatters to deceive, looks fast, but doesn't go by defenders. Even when he has a go he doesn't know how to go outside and head for the byeline.
His favourite pass is backwards to Barisic.
He DOES work his socks off, so hopefully he starts to get something positive from his game SOON,

Coldo MPH is correct at the moment he is our worst performing player wether you like it or not it’s there for all to see.
You are quick enough to stick the boot in to fredo but you defend the wonder boy at every turn.

Can’t believe the criticism that Kent is getting, if he’s going through a sticky spell just now then fine but he’s still getting assists and he’s probably the only player who gets you on the end of your seat, always turns up in big games aswel, was very impressed with hagi and aribo yesterday hope they 2 can keep it up consistently, don’t think hagi will start against Celtic tho.

Kent is a cracking player and so is Morelos. What annoys me is how most are quick to jump on Alfies bad patch yet it’s taken about 6 weeks for anyone to mention Kent. If you’re going to slag one player then you need to slag the other. For the good of the team I hope they both raise their level for the second half of the season and we’ll be in a good place.

Frustrating performances from Kent lately. It's as if the opposition has worked out how to play him and he doesn't have a plan b. Confidence looks low but he is a good player and if he kickstarts his season we will run away with the title. Let's hope it starts on Wednesday. Re Morelos, I thought he was brilliant when he came on yesterday. I think he is due a start but Roofe has been brilliant and can't be dropped imo. Assuming Jack and Arfield will not be fit for Wednesday, I'd be tempted to go with McGregor, Tav, Bal, Connor, Borna, Kamara, Davis, Roofe, Aribo, Morelos and Kent.

Kents a good player and NEVER hides but he cost 7 times what Morelos did and hasn't given us anything like Alf has in his time here and Alf gets all the bashing. Hoping the both come good on the 2nd if those two have good games we will smash them to Bits really want to see Alf start against ST Mirren grab a goal then put them to the sword that would be so sweet after the S*&T the other side give him.

Thankfully most of us can look at this objectively.
I remember the bold Coldo amongst others saying we would only win the league if we kept a hold of Kent because of his early season form.
Unfortunately he's been rank rotten for weeks but fortunately others like Aribo, Hagi, Roofe have all stepped up to cover Kent's lack of form.

Morelos skinned more defenders in his 10 minute cameo appearance from the bench than Kent did the full game!
And remember Morelos is supposedly unfit, overweight, not interested and wants to be elsewhere according some. 👍👀
Maybe Kent's head has been turned by the Leeds interest and he's downed tools to get a move? Well if that patter is good enough for Morelos? 👀.

Kent is not performing as well as he can, he looks heavy and is disinterested, stats show he gives the ball away more than any other player in our team.
His agent is clearly trying to get him a move, this will happen next summer once his girlfriend graduates and takes up a job offer she has.
Watch this space.
He turned down a pay increase and is seen as a very saleable asset.

The Tim’s are greetin because Collum never gave hibs a “blatant” penalty for Hagi’s high boot in the box. They’re saying he made contact with the hibs player but watching it on sky it didn’t look to me that any contact had been made. It’s a hard one to call. I can see why it could have been given and I can see why it wasn’t given. Dangerous to stick a boot up so high but no contact made so for me it wasn’t a penalty. What’s your guys thoughts? Did we get away with one or was it the correct call?

He tried to hook the ball over his head and missed it. Wasn’t even looking at the player. If it’s dangerous play then you have to flag every over head kick for dangerous play.

We probably got away with one. Anywhere else on the park and it a foul HOWEVER Willie Collumn missed 3 or 4 fouls on Kent and Hagi so I guess it evens itself out.

Not sure what the rule is, but if it’s dangerous play then fair enough it’s a penalty but then on the same note you have to ban overhead kicks!

Personally I would have booked the hibs player for simulation. He didn’t make any contact with him and he tried to con the ref as if he did.

I really enjoyed that game today, it's good to have a team come at you, the performance was decent, and if it hadn't been for their goalie, it would have been 3 or 4 nil. I have to say, that I also thought Alfie did very well when he came on, I was wishing that ball into the net for him, on to Paisley now, let's get the job done over the next 7 days.

Funny I don’t believe they’re keeper was particularly good, a couple of close range shots smacked into him, it often happens that a keeper is credited with having a great game when the truth is he would look very poor if he hadn’t stopped them shots, or headers.
