Where are the squad going for the couple of week shutdown.
Do them good to get a bit warm weather training for the final push.

27 Dec 2018 19:33:10
Think I seen online they are to have some time off before a training camp in Tenerife, then it’s straight into the cup game!

27 Dec 2018 23:42:45
They need time off time away from things to refresh.

27 Dec 2018 18:00:41
Selling Morelos for approx £12 m might not be the worst thing. Lad has an excellent goal scoring record but I feel his temperament will Always be suspect.
This money could bring in a center half (like the lad at Livingston) , a left back, Steven Davis, Dominic Solanke, Jordan Jones and to be controversial Naismith - would also leave plenty in the bank.

27 Dec 2018 18:42:39
morelos goes for more than 12 million.

27 Dec 2018 19:11:08
Leave that rat steven naismith at hearts where he belongs!

27 Dec 2018 19:15:51
Good post Gers09 apart from the RAT🇬🇧.

27 Dec 2018 19:16:24
Unless he wants to leave we need to keep him. If we sell Morelos, we sell the season. Morelos is the best player we have, and without him, well, I don't even want to think where we'll be. Do we really want more loans? Do we really think that the money we would get for him will be invested back into the squad?

27 Dec 2018 20:02:01
We have bout to knowing morelos would want go at some point so if we do not have a list of possible replacements ready that is very poor by the club.
By the sound of it he wants to go and who can blame him.

27 Dec 2018 21:05:20
Morelos is our talisman. We shouldn't sell unless it's silly money or he tries to engineer a move away. The signing you mentioned do not excite me. The lad at Livingston and Jones would bolster our squad, don't know if they'd improve our starting 11. Solankie is a short term signing and Davies would improve us but at his age offers a short term fix like Solankie. Morelos is young, works impressively hard and scores goal, for me we should be building our team around him rather than cashing in just for the sake of getting bodies to fill our squad.

27 Dec 2018 21:10:53
We need a player similar to Naismith who can play just off the striker. Add that another striker and a creative centre midfielder and the squad looks much better. Morelos for £12 million? maybe? but could we hold on to him till the end of the season and try for more? Probably.

27 Dec 2018 23:05:18
I’m not sure we will get more than 12 m for him - remember we were being ridiculed for attempting to sell to China for 7 m. I personally would bite anyone’s hand off who offered that kind of cash and I don’t believe it would sell the season. Only a few weeks ago we were questioning him after the Aberdeen sending off. Yes he can score goals but he can’t be trusted. I’m sure SG will be able to find another striker capable of scoring in the spl. I personally feel SG has done a great job of talking up morelos and he will be sold if the price is right. Naismith is a rat, but I feel he is the type of player we currently need.

27 Dec 2018 23:05:38

27 Dec 2018 23:08:57
think we would be daft to let him go for 12M. best striker in scotland. what would we replace him with since goals from elsewhere in the park are woefully shy. why replace a guarantee with a maybe just doesn't make sense. if 15M plus was offered then i think it would be hard to argue with the board cashing in on him and taking that chance.

28 Dec 2018 00:01:26
To be fair recently Morelos has been keeping his temper in check, so maybe he is already starting to mature between the ears. The last couple of games he has still been aggressive but hasn't really been getting involved in confrontations, might just be me though. Definitely don't sell him before the summer we need him simple as that, we do need a player SIMILAR to Naismith but not Naismith preferably.

28 Dec 2018 00:13:51
Gees you make out 12m is nothing - massive profit on a player who can’t be trusted . I’m sure our scouts have identified a suitable replacement- also Moises coming from morelos indicate he wants away. I would cash in before he throws toys out and becomes a problem - would them have to accept less money. His current stock hasn’t been higher.

28 Dec 2018 07:48:27
I think you are right gers09. How many times have we seen young players especially spit the dummy out and down tools when something doesn't suit them? Much as i would hate to see Morelos go, it might be the only option. 12m or more would represent a huge profit and is a no brainer for me. You never know, if he hits 3 tomorrow that valuation could really hike. Go on Alfredo!

28 Dec 2018 11:04:43
Lol @Supercooper and leave the rat naismith at hearts yet wants davis to come back. Rats to a man every single one of then and not one of them should be back.

28 Dec 2018 15:38:43
Very different things were said between naismith's rangers departure and steven davis's rangers departure. Where have you been, every rangers fan knows that! Davis also stayed to make sure rangers got a transfer fee for him,800k to be exact! So Rabc10000,do your homework before coming on here accusing anyone of having double standards! The 2 departures are very different! Naismith I'll reiterate, is a total rat!

27 Dec 2018 17:19:13
My frustrations with the team are not tactical or results related. In order to build a good squad you take players with potential and you grow them. I look at a player like Tavernier and see flashes of skill, but it's too inconsistent. I feel like he's treading water. I don't think he's any better than he was 3 years ago. I would say the exact same about Candeias. Good spells but woeful consistency. You have to look for players that give you consistency game in game out. Jack, McGregor and Morelos have done that. The rest have been too inconsistent. The injuries have been murder as well. I liked what Dorrans brings to the team as well as Murphy but we need to pay players to play. Kent and Middleton have potential. Thought McRorie had a decent game against Hibs. Are we better than last year? Yes but I think McGregor and a healthy Jack is the difference so far. We need the others to step up and play as good as they have shown in the past.

27 Dec 2018 18:50:58
mcgregor, morelos, jack, artfield, barisic, kent only just, escape criticism. GERRARD rotation, formation doesn't escape criticism. Injuries haven't helped but every club gets injuries, the squad is big enough on paper but lacks quality, to many not up to scratch, GERRARD you need to do a big sam, wheel and deal this transfer window in order to push on, december has been horrendous, Need to see GERRERD the manager, not the player working.

27 Dec 2018 17:05:46
I must say that Morelos' english has improved dramatically over the last week. if the quotes in the DR are accurate.

Regardless, Morelos was going to be sold at the end of the year, we need the money. The best case scenario would be to get a deal done now that loans him back to the club for the remainder of the year. I think if he gets knocked back in this transfer window he will spit the dummy.

27 Dec 2018 17:19:37
Morelos signed a new contract till 2021. (I think) unless someone bids silly money in January he'll be here till at least the end of the season.

28 Dec 2018 11:41:35
Don’t know if Celtic don’t put a cheeky £3 million bid in, although he doesn’t score in big games he will be a good addition to the Celtic bench. and he’d love to win some medals I’m sure.

27 Dec 2018 16:59:49
Hi lads n lasses if morepos goes we should go and get young shankland from ayr he obviously knows where the goal is and says he would jump to come back to rangers.

27 Dec 2018 18:33:50
Do you really think shankland would fill the void that Morelos would leave?

27 Dec 2018 18:35:43
Do you really see Shankland as a replacement for Morelos? What are you on, Sangil80? 'Young' Shankland is older than Morelos! You're comparing fillet steak with porred meat.

27 Dec 2018 19:21:58
Burnbank 1 that is my opinion who would u go for then let me hear the names its not as if were are going to spend a fortune on striker they days are long gone i do rate morelos highly but he's not going to be around for ever i think shankland will score loads of goals with the same service morelos gets.

27 Dec 2018 21:29:07
Morelos can create a chance for himself totally different type of player, shankland doesn't link up well he's like a young Kris boyd.

27 Dec 2018 21:59:29
So some people on here not happy to give a young 23 year old rangers fan who is scoring more goals than games he has played a chance. Who do we go for if morelos moves on and we will probably need 2 strikers.

28 Dec 2018 00:06:58
To be fair bgate you have just compared shankland to one of our best ever strikers lol surely a natural predatory finisher would be a good signing, I get what you are saying they are very different players, both playing up top could be nice though?

27 Dec 2018 16:19:15
time has come to sell Morelos why? because EVERYTHING revolves around him, at the expense of the team as a whole. He doesn't even want to play for us, and has his sights set on a move to the EPL as soon as he can, so we need to be planning life WIITHOUT him now, and not later. Yes we need a few new faces, but we just have to make others in the team feel they are needeD and wanted as much as Morelos. Some managers proved that no one man makes a team, especially those who think and act as prima donnas, and that is where we are at with Morelos, my opinion only, but I really don't care what abuse I get for this. I have supported the Gers since 1952 and have seen many one man bands that were moved on, both at Ibrox and with other teams too.

27 Dec 2018 16:55:30
you think that will improve our results? removing the only person that is scoring goals for us. and with very little input from anyone else.

27 Dec 2018 17:31:28
Ritchie your havering. We have to get rid of our and the leagues top scorer because you think that will improve the rest of the squad? Your of course entitled to your opinion but that really sounds mad. Morelos signed a longer contract not long ago, he'll be here till at least the summer. Unless someone offers silly money for him in January.

27 Dec 2018 14:35:46
Too much tinkering by SG and not playing a settled team. OK injuries apart, my best XI would be:

McGregor; Flanagan, Goldson, Katic, Barisic; Jack, McCrorie, Dorrans, Murphy; Morelos, Kent

Despite the doom merchants on here, we are only 3 points behind the unwashed, albeit they have a game in hand. So all the other teams are poorer which is why we are 2nd? Rubbish. We've only lost 1 of our last 13 league games so fine margins with a few draws in there that have cost us points. The Europa League run was great too and nobody expected that. Having said all that I agree that if we lose to that lot on Saturday we won't recover enough to catch them but were we ever going to do that this season?

27 Dec 2018 14:45:44
Doiger I like your team, surprised no place for Ryan also think Arfield merits a place
League would be a bonus this season, we need cup final and second, then really go for league next two years.

27 Dec 2018 14:51:25
Doiger - too many doom and gloom merchants i agree.
I would have Tav, Arfield in my starting 11.

27 Dec 2018 15:34:45
Copland tav is the greatest single problem with our team.

27 Dec 2018 15:57:26
I do think we miss Murphy as has a bit more quality and I recon he'd have scored more goals than candeias and Middleton combined by now. and this is a problem (goals) as Morelos is being heavily relied upon.

27 Dec 2018 16:11:06
Seeing as how Flanagan has been a LB his entire career what makes you think he'll be better than Tav at RB? Honestly don't think some of you watch any football cause your banging on about Flanagan RB and we already have the best RB in the league.

27 Dec 2018 17:03:49
Alfredo Flanagan is a natural right back . Not sure if you are at the wind up there. Played right back for liverpiol capped for england at right back. definitely not left back until he came to rangers. Ps tavanier awfull at defending. Maybe best in league going forward.

27 Dec 2018 17:12:09
Alfredonumba 1. I think it might be you who doesn't watch any football because Flanagan is a right back and always has been. Criticisms of his performances this season are due to him being played out of position at left back. Tavernier is a liability and far too inconsistent. Sell him in January. Here endeth the lecture.
To others, I agree Arfield worth a place.

27 Dec 2018 17:22:24
Alfredo, Flanagan is a right back and if you think Tavernier is a good defender you should have gone to Specsavers, he can't defend he can't cross and he's never a captain, we need a new right back and a new. Captain possibly Ryan jack.

27 Dec 2018 17:30:04
Ready you forgot can’t tackle nor head a ball.

27 Dec 2018 18:37:19
Alfredo that being the case we must have some pathetic right backs in our league.

27 Dec 2018 23:15:57
Must be a wind up.

27 Dec 2018 21:17:59
Tav 6 goals and 8 assists this season but he divides the supporters especially on the defensive side of his game.
What are the options currently at RB?
Tav or Flannigan or do we sign someone in the transfer window?
Ed time for a poll.

28 Dec 2018 11:42:20
Everyone is always quick to jump on Tavernier I say he’s the best right back we have at the club that’s the reason he’s playing if Flanagan was as good as being made out to be he wouldn’t be at rangers.

28 Dec 2018 13:43:31
I'll admit he started as a RB. Brendan Rodgers played him LB for Liverpool. Played LB for Bolton last year as well. He's not had a game at RB in years. Tavernier could be a RB for a top 6/ 7 English side. There's a reason the Magic Hat, Murty, Pedro and now Gerrard all have him as a first pick.

27 Dec 2018 14:01:32
Lassana coulibaly I mind he missed Motherwell game 20th november due to a family bereavement. If it is his father then have to say that the situation has been handled very poorly. The guy is currently one of if not our worst player atm he should of been signed off to Greave. He's a passenger in the team recently. Understandable his performance has dropped.

27 Dec 2018 12:20:39
See morelos is been quoted in the papers as saying he expects offers to come in for him in January and wants go to the prem league.
Does anyone think any teams in the prem will take a chance on him in Jan.
And if so how much do you think we will get for him.
If the lad wants to go can we really blame him he has been carrying his team mates all season and seen no improvement from them so this will not encourage him to stay.

27 Dec 2018 14:39:23
If a bid comes in it will be from a lower premier side. Anything upwards of £10m and he will be gone.

27 Dec 2018 16:24:18
Be gutted to see him go but can't see us keeping hold of him much longer, start the bidding at 12 million.

27 Dec 2018 17:13:02
If it's to premier League team &he is signed as a starter?
Even the lower end are paying 20mill + for mediocre squad players.
IF he goes down there we should get in early and sign 4 players (not loan) to give the guys that are there a lift and helping hand as they appear to be knucking fackered.

27 Dec 2018 17:13:15
He's got a good bit to go before EPL teams will start looking at him. Maybe some challenging teams from the Championship, who still have money to burn. Alrfedo, just keep scoring and stop believing your own hype, your time will come eventually.

27 Dec 2018 17:25:35
If dembele is worth £20million then so is morelos, I'm fed up with Gers letting players go for under their value.

27 Dec 2018 18:39:09
Ready

Difference between Dembele and Morelos is that Dembele scored in the group stages of the champions league, scored a few against us and before he came to Celtic had done well in the championship. Morelos hasn’t done any of that and won’t go for the same money as Dembele.

27 Dec 2018 19:33:36
For me rangers shouldn't be selling for anything less that than 15 million.
Morelos done well in the Europa and look at what he his doing for us currently this lad has potenial to go all the way.
If he was around better players he would have a lot more goals than he does for us now.

28 Dec 2018 11:35:58
I would have thought the financial poison over the last few years would have dictated we take the cash and find a 4/5 million £ replacement
Can’t turn that sort of cash away.

27 Dec 2018 11:33:53
Morelos confirming in press today he is desperate for a move to EPL? If we can get upwards of £10 to £12 million do we accept? Maybe get Solanke in and make him first pick striker as the guy has undoubted ability and could be a revaluation. Feel Stevie could be ready for a few changes? Tav? 🇬🇧.

27 Dec 2018 14:22:37
Yately undoubted ability says who, can't get near bench for Liverpool. Could be a revelation, we need some one who will be.
Hard to see him outscore Morelos in my opinion
Yes it's good to see lad have ambition, but I want 15 plus.
We will struggle to replace his goals.
Tav can go tomorrow, won't be missed read Some Turkish team want to give us three million, take it.

27 Dec 2018 14:41:40
Jboy21

Not getting near the Liverpool bench isn’t anything to be ashamed of. They have quite a few top drawer players in front of him. Looks like Morelos is marking the clubs card about wanting to leave. Agree about Tavernier if anyone offered £3m take it.

27 Dec 2018 15:36:24
Least Morelos shows ambition, I hope we get another 18 months out of him. Least the lad try’s to burst a gut and earn a move.

27 Dec 2018 11:25:17
This is the speculation starting with morelos already. Morelos saying in a DR interview today, that he expects EPL clubs to make offers to buy him in january. The more worrying thing for us is he's also practically saying he wants to go! Could the upcoming old firm game on saturday, be the last time we see alfredo morelos, in a rangers shirt? I've got a bad feeling it may well be! The reasons i tend to think morelos could go in january are,
money talks, irrespective of stevie G hellbent, on keeping him, there will be big money offers made for him and he wants to go to the english premier league!

27 Dec 2018 13:30:25
To be fair the club need to accept a bid before he can speak to the club about wages, so yeah clearly he can make more money down there but if a good bid doesn't come in then he doesn't leave he is contracted to us.

27 Dec 2018 14:24:06
Coops nothing wrong with lad having ambition, we dictate price, as jordy says.

27 Dec 2018 14:43:43
Agree with Supercooper if the player wants to go and a decent bid comes in he will go. It’s obvious he wants to play there and I’m sure he or his agent might be aware of some interest. Interesting to see if any bids come and and from whom.

27 Dec 2018 16:01:37
If the player wants it as disappointed as I'd be, play hard ball hold out for all we can get then use the money wisely and strengthen.

27 Dec 2018 11:09:21
Lots of players injured and when coming back get injured again, is it just bad luck?
Would like to see where a fully fit and hungry squad would be sitting, Saturday now a 6 pointer if we fail then MOUNTAIN to climb and don’t think we have the climbing gear?

27 Dec 2018 11:07:07
Been on this site for some time, first post here though. Here goes.

There are some guys calling for Gerrard's head after about 7 months and one transfer window which is ridiculous. Yes recently results haven't gone our way I agree. The problem with all of us is we expect to much to often, we expect to win every game when in reality won't happen. When was the last time top of the table was this close at Christmas? When was the last time we got that far in Europe? c'mon last season we were knocked out by a team who had never won a European game before! He'll need at 2 seasons with a couple of transfer windows. We still carry a lot of dead wood in this team which needs to go. It will all take time and patience. Get behind the team. Get behind the manager ✊🏻.

27 Dec 2018 11:49:07
RWB

While I agree with your pragmatism, we are now six years after the Rangers liquidation and it was always going to take at least 5 years to recover. Whether we like it or not the room for latitude with the fans is over and while we have no Devine right to win every game we are entitled to have expectation. Competing club fans continually remind us when we fail that we have by a long way the second biggest budget in the league. They are right and we should be starting to pull away from the other 10 clubs based upon this budget.

I have said before that we only have two players who would feature in a previous Rangers title winning squad so for me we have at least 5 player improvements required before we will seriously challenge Celtic.

27 Dec 2018 11:50:33
Redwhiteblue we need to give Gerrard time as a rebuild can't be done in one transfer window, hopefully the board can help raise funds required! We probably need to unearth some gems in the process.

27 Dec 2018 12:40:04
Redwhiteblue I agree but2 things are obvious, should never keep changing the central defenders the must have a good understanding with The keeper and that won't happen if you chop and change every game and secondly Tavernier is never a defender and never a leader of men therefore should never be captain, a blind man could see that.

27 Dec 2018 14:48:55
Not really seen too many people want his head and as you say he needs a few transfer windows to build his team. I think he has had his eyes opened recently about some of the players who have been a massive disappointment however at the moment he can’t really slate the players too much. Possibly expect to see 4 players join in January with 4 or 5 leaving.

27 Dec 2018 15:42:16
Morelos going no where in January. He will be at Ibrox for another 18 months.

27 Dec 2018 16:55:03
I think it is vital that SG lufts the team for Saturday and we sign off with a win before the break. It would ger the monkey off our back and give the whole place a tremendous lift. With 2 or 3 quality additions along with the return of some of the walking wounded and i don't think we would be far away.

27 Dec 2018 10:52:08
cant believe people starting to push steve g off of the plank already he has only been in the job 6 months we have to give him time, yes his chopping and changing is a bit eratic at times but it must be fustrating for our manager with the inconsistant performances and level of play from some of our players stay behind the team and just hope the board pull a few rabbits out the hat in the january sales.

27 Dec 2018 09:33:19
To be fair we have been unlucky with injuries, especially the long-term absence of Dorrans and Murphy. Both of them have the ability to give us what is missing. Further injuries to Jack for part of the season and Kent haven't helped either. I agree we do need more attack-minded midfielders to complement the defensive qualities of the like of Jack and McCrorie. I still think SG should play Morelos and Lafferty together on Saturday. Oh, and I forgot, bring back Hardie in January!

27 Dec 2018 09:55:04
Dorrans had a history of injuries before he signed and has been out more than he has been available. Kent has been good in flashes. Think we need to play both Morelos and Lafferty as I can’t see Middleton or Grezda doing anything against them.

27 Dec 2018 11:19:55
Grezda injured against st Johnstone.

27 Dec 2018 11:25:44
Probably be our best chance Arthur.

27 Dec 2018 08:48:20
Why do we persist in playing Halliday at left back when he is not a natural defender? We had Wallace on the bench (LB) and Flanangan (albeit natural RB) We are fragile especially when defending crosses and need outright defenders to clear the lines.

27 Dec 2018 09:57:26
EK Bluebell

I felt the same yesterday but to be fair to Halliday I felt he did ok. However Saturday is going to be a lot different with Forrest playing. Gerrard really has no choice but to play Halliday as you can’t put Wallace in having played no part yesterday. Really concerned about what Forrest will do to Halliday.

27 Dec 2018 10:31:13
Arthur D

Yeah he generally does ok however just concerned like
you about the step up in class, in which if chosen, he will be facing. Just feel its a case of plugging the gaps and we are paying the price.

27 Dec 2018 10:50:55
EK bluebell

I think he is a certainty to play left back on Saturday. Wallace needed to play yesterday to be in with a chance of playing Saturday and Flanagan hasn’t played for weeks.

27 Dec 2018 11:20:53
Halliday better option than Flanagan and Wallace at present.

27 Dec 2018 14:50:26
Jboy21

Agreed but due to the fact neither Flanagan or Wallace have played much and it’s not advisable to throw players like that into such a game.

27 Dec 2018 17:36:03
Wallace has no future with rangers. We all know that also the 17 k a week can be better used for a striker.

27 Dec 2018 08:06:23
Simple fact is we require more quality especially in the final third the effort is there but quality isn't. Morelos aside our two wingers very wasteful Middleton I give some slack as we shouldn't rely on an 18 year old he could improve but candeias is nothing more than a journey man surrendering possession very cheaply and consistently no end product. our 3 midfielders yesterday are holders/ stoppers who have a combined 4 goals between them for our club. tavernier scurries forward every time but fails to deliver his free kicks and corners diabolical can SG not see this? Take him aff them asap.

27 Dec 2018 09:17:02
Totally agree with every point. Middleton, at only 18, should not be made a scapegoat, but Candeias, is truly dreadful and should never be anywhere near the team. Stevie G, although making rookie mistakes, still has my full support. If we can manage to bring in better players, and we can magic some funds, then we might get our act together under him. If we continue on the same path then Stevie G will be off. Do we really think a man of his stature in world football will allow himself, and his reputation, to be dragged down. If the board do not back him he'll be off If things get worse. Why would he stay about and risk his reputation? Stevie G has bigger plans than us, but If those plans are at risk, then it will be all about self preservation.

27 Dec 2018 10:02:21
Being saying that for a while now Candeias isn’t good enough. Just needed to look at the amount of clubs he has played for to see what an average player he is. Scores the odd goal and puts in the odd good cross which seems to be enough for some people. Also if we get a decent offer for Tavernier hopefully we take it. Truly dreadful captain whose delivery was appalling yesterday. Another who puts in the odd good cross.

27 Dec 2018 11:25:49
I love the comments. When I say if we want to win league players like Tav, candaes, coulibally grezda, squad players at best.
Wallace, fod add nothing.
Loan players with exception of Kent not the standard required
So many fringe players still to be moved on.
But we r getting there, too slow for some.
Stopping ten will happen, but not the priority as long term financial stability is what we require, the rest will follow.

Glad some fans agree some of our players jus not going to make the grade with us but hey SG will know this hopefully sort it out given time and resources.

Spot on Arthur d on both counts candeias runs around like a headless chicken half the time and tav simply can't defend and can't lead.

27 Dec 2018 14:26:28
Yes Bathgate, SG knows what we need. He is learning fast, we will see change.

Sadly I think at times we rangers fans suffer from delusions of grandeur. Yes yesterday was frustrating as was the other Hibs game, Dundee, twice against Aberdeen etc etc. So what do we do. Bin the manager AGAIN and bring in Murty for 6 months and restart in the summer. We have to be patient and give it time. One minute it's tav and Candeias are rotten then the next their the best thing since sliced bread. Yes the squad is thin on the ground and some signings haven't worked out yet. Lads like Grezda etc need a bit of time to adjust to life in general. God, I remember when we weren't happy with big Hateley, until his two goals to win is the league. Mumping and moaning isn't going to change anything for the better. Let's just get right behind the team and support them till the end.

27 Dec 2018 08:34:30
This is absolutely spot on. Anyone who thinks we can compete with Celtic this season is completely deluded.

27 Dec 2018 09:15:53
We ARE better than last few seasons, even an arch critic has to see that? But we are not good enough? But we will be. Give the manager time, the tic can sign 9 million players, in paper this morning another 6 million player they are after from good leagues, at this moment in time we can’t compete with that, but it’ll come.

It's not about beating Celtic. I despair! Its about dropping so many points against Aberdeen, Hibs, Kilmarnock, 10 man Dundee, Motherwell, Livingston. can you not get this? How difficult is it to understand?

It’s actually you that’s deluded if you think all those dropped points are acceptable. It’s not just the dropped points but it’s the way we have played. We were dreadful against Livingston away, Aberdeen in cup and at Ibrox, against a 10 man Dundee side, Hamilton home and away and 1st half against St Johnstone. Players can’t do basics like control the ball or pass. There is no invention and we are very one paced and predictable. We are very easy to play against and very easy to score against. However if your find that acceptable it’s up to you.

Slk73 I'm sure Stevie G can now have his lunch today knowing he has your full support. Who cares if he's got your support? We have little to no chance of winning the league this year. wake up. We need to hang in there for as long as possible, win an old firm game, get to a final. and hopefully win it. then look to kick on next year. And is there any chance you could stop slaughtering players. You probably couldn't kick a door if you were holding it by the handle but slaughter Rangers players. It will take years to get back to where we want to be. not 6 months!

27 Dec 2018 10:33:30
Arthur. At what point did I say it was acceptable to drop these points. My main point is mate and if you read this nice and slowly then maybe you will understand it. We have to give managers time. What’s the point in mumping and moaning about gerrard. We sack him. Appoint an interim until the summer then appoint a new manager for us to be in the exact same position as we are the now? Also I’m pretty sure if you asked the manky mob how acceptable it is for the amount of points they have dropped the answer would be the same. As Glasgow rangers no dropped points is acceptable but we have to look at where we have been the past few years to where we are the now. I don’t know what the points at this stage last year were but am I happier overall from this time last year then the answer is yes.

Wow! A Dutch of class with that reply. How long did it take you to come up with such a scathing response? I'm hurt man. I don't think I can eat my breakfast now. Who said we were going to win the league? It's about the amount of points we drop against teams we should be beating. And are you going to stop using the same excuse. We've had plenty of time, and spent plenty of money, to beat a 10 man Dundee. My kicking might not be the best but it's good enough to kick your feeble post into touch. See what I done there Dutch?

Your clutching at straws mate if you think Grezda will do anything for us. Totally deluded. Also who has posted that Tavernier and Candeias are the best thing since sliced bread? You just seem to be making things up to suit yourself.

27 Dec 2018 13:36:56
The thing is apart from 3 points dropped against Celtic, it's not them that have done the damage. If it weren't for so many dropped points against poor or lesser teams we would be miles ahead by now, we haven't taken advantage of Celtics poor half of the season so it's not about celtic it's about not winning all the games we should have won.

27 Dec 2018 15:38:31
Wow Arthur D. Did you get football manager at Xmas. You are actually telling me that Grezda won’t do anything for us after a hand full of starts and a few sub appearances. Think the big boys down south will ask you to head up their scouting system.
