Celtic drop interest in Taylor. We should be right in there with a bit imo.

Yeah Barasic scored a belter of a free kick at the weekend but that’s about all he is has done. I want him to do well I want him to be a star at rangers but I just don’t think he can handle the SPL some players come here and think it’s a peace of p*** and doesn’t work out that way haha.

I for one wanted us to go for McGinn he was a stand out for hibs and it was clear to see he was a class above not sure if financially it wasnt the right time to buy for us or perhaps people at our club felt he couldn't be tempted to join us.

Taking time out for a minute all things rangers for a moment here guys. Just want to express my sadness, in the perilous position of the two old popular football clubs. bolton wanderers and bury, in their plight to try and stay in business. I don't like to see that and i really do hope both these established football clubs within the english game, can be saved from liquidation. I feel your pain of everyone connected, to these football clubs. I wish both of you all the best in finding a great solution, that allows you both to continue, within the english game. I like many bears on here and everywhere else, now what your going through. The very best of british luck to both bolton and bury!

Regardless of what team it is, most have been around for over 100 years etc. don't like seeing it now, didn't like watching rfc plight at the time either, even if the 5 years that followed were hilarious 😉.

I agree. Wish both clubs the very best. We as a club can definitely empathise with their plight. Bolton Wanderers are a top flight English club in my opinion and hope they can fight their way back up to where they belong!

Was thinking about Bury there. Unfortunately for them I think they're finished and it's purely just down to timing. They've been booted out the league so near on a year before any kind of revenue would be coming in. Unlike us where we finished the season and were half ready for the following season where we had 50,000 paying fans. Heart goes out to them though. I hope I'm wrong.

Skagman why so angry all of the time? I tried to reply to you the other night but it never got shown. Anyway regarding the singing I’m all for stopping the sectarian songs that will hurt the club but as far as the rest go ie build my gallows etc not a chance. You may have the support of a few on here but you are not in the majority of opinions regarding this. These songs have more to do with our heritage than penny arcade etc my friend. How’s about if YOU don’t like it, take the train.

Rangers heritage is FOOTBALL. Baxter, Souness, Caldow, Gough, Cooper - that’s Rangers heritage.

Go to Windsor Park if you want to sing songs about your supposed Northern Irish heritage.

I cannot for one second believe that you don’t understand that the connotations behind Build My Gallows are sectarian. Does it explicitly have any sectarian phrases in it? No. Is the sentiment behind it sectarian? 100%. Still unacceptable no matter what knots you twist yourself into attempting to pass it off as heritage.

Build my gallows was an example of our songs that is not deemed as sectarian, like many others as I have stated before. If the song is not deemed as sectarian, and it won’t harm our great institution, what is the problem? If you have a problem then it is YOUR problem. Go to Windsor park to sing build my gallows? Why so angry? Because I want my club to do well but certain people are more concerned with their fictional “heritage”. I am 100% in the majority. I’ll ask again. What does Build My Gallows have to do with Rangers?

Ed - I never ask for a poll but let’s have one. Regardless of what you think of them, should fans be refraining from singing songs about Northern Ireland and Ulster which have no mention of Rangers?

And my mother’s side of the family is all Northern Irish Protestant from Belfast, so am I being bigoted against myself hahaha?
