who would you prefer
agree- ness and davis
disagree- edu and davis

if any other partnership please state.

Believable7 Unbelievable15

Ness and Davies as Ness has a great range of passing. Keeping him fit is the only problem as he seems to be permanently injured. Not dissing Edu though as he has been great in the last two games and he must have something about him to play through all the abuse he gets.

Agree1 Disagree0

Davis and Ness with Edu as defensive midfielder

Agree6 Disagree0

Rather see makay or bedoya

Agree1 Disagree1

I know its early days but bedoya looks nothing special his touch is awful and he looks lost, iam sure he will improve mc kay on the other hand looks a player!

Agree2 Disagree0

How about a diamond formation with edu at the bottom, davis, ness in the middle and mckay/bedoya/ naismith up top, behind jela, laff/ naismith? Not saying its one we should stick with all season or anything, just one to try? Muzz

Incase people aren't aware of this, if we lost the tax case and for arguments sake were fined £50 million. Craig Whyte is the immediate creditor that Rangers have to pay off.He would put Rangers into administration. Rangers have three different assets, the players, Murray Park and Ibrox. So Whyte could say he wants the players as his payment. Then the administrators are left with Ibrox and Murray Park. Ibrox is worthless to them as it can only be a football stadium as the facade is listed and Glasgow city council reject all planning applications to build there. The sale value of the players may not cover what Whyte is owed so he could then take Murray Park. This would leave the administrators with virtually no way of getting money, so HMRC would have to accept a massively cut payment from Rangers. Since we would keep the squad, we could still win the league even with a 10 point deduction. It is not as doom and gloom as people think. There are plenty ways around it. On another note we may actually win the tax case, what would Celtic do then?

GovanFR

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Is the tax man not the primary creditor

Agree2 Disagree5

Nope Whyte is, if you read the document he released just after taking over the club it has all the details.

GovanFR

Agree5 Disagree1

Govan FR - this is all a bit Jackanory stuff.

Agree2 Disagree4

If they go into administration Lloyds bank will be in charge of the club and will decide what happens as they are still owed 18M.

Agree1 Disagree8

I think the real question would be what would rangers do then ,after all with the help of the press they have successfully fooled the people into believing they are skint ,but the reality is they have had the largest wage bill in the spl for at least 3 years ,and have spent more money on transfers than anyone else in scotland for the last 5 years . one thing i have learned in over 30 years of watching the old firm is that its swings and roundabouts ,sometimes when your down nothing you do will get you up,and when your up sometimes nothing put in your road can get you down ,fab1

Agree0 Disagree2

Lloyds are owed money by Wavetower not by Rangers.

GovanFR

Agree1 Disagree3

The debt to Lloyds was taken on by Wavetower. Rangers owe money to Wavetower. Lloyds are out of the picture.

Agree3 Disagree0

Not quite, if Rangers go into administration the players contracts are automatically cancelled and their registration reverts to the league.
The players would then be able to negotiate deals with anyone they liked. If Rangers wanted to keep them, they would have to basically have to offer them all new contracts, which they could turn down if they wished.

Agree3 Disagree2

As regards Ibrox, you are quite right to say that the facade is listed but not the rest of it. I think you might find that the same is the case with Highbury (Arsenal's old ground) and I believe it was sold off for development.
I also suspect that Craig Whyte has by now so p****d of HMRC that they will now move heaven and earth to make sure he doesn't get away scot free and, sadly, Rangers will suffer as a result.

Bears the next two games could shape the run up to the next o/f game. We beat Killie and then the Hibees, we will be 10 points clear of the poor relations from the east end, and they then need to go and get a win at Hearts after Udinese embarrass them Thursday. I hope this is not lost on the players and we are as ruthless in the next two games, as we have been in the last two games............ Rangers 'til I die onward and upwards Bears.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Yes, you were really ruthless in your last 2 games - Falkirk anyone?

Agree1 Disagree2

Falkirk anyone ?............ that was a cup gamr ya complete ya ya, the post refers to the LEAGUE, go back to the runners up page, you have bucket loads to worry about if you going to stop 4 IN A ROW !!

Agree3 Disagree0

You are correct, the poster is talking about Rangers going 10 points clear in the league. However he has stated "...... and we are as ruthless in the next two games, as we have been in the last two games."

The last 2 games included Falkirk.

Agree0 Disagree1

League games are the topic ya trotter, stop hanging on for mercy man, how can a cup game affect the points in the league ? you know what the post was referring to, so worry about the fact your team will be staring up the Rangers' wind tunnel.................... as per f**king usual Dheclan, bye bye and put the lights off on yer way oot !

Agree0 Disagree0

Shush and stop making a play on words man, the LEAGUE is out of your hands ta ta Lemon...... bitter wee man

26 Sep 2011 13:08:25
More of a fact than a rumour.......Rangers are going to win the league :-)

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Totally agree ten points clear after Saturday Celtic get beat of udinese and get beat who ever they play in Sunday which mean we have pretty much won the league Monday afternoon Lennon sacked knocks there confidence out more we get more confidence from that then there is absolutely not stooping us about 18 points clear by januray which will just be phenomenal in ally wee trust

campbell

Agree3 Disagree2

Anything can happen from now until the end of the seasons. Don't get me wrong confidence is good but complacence is bad just look at the Falkirk, Maribor and Malmo games, counting our chicks before they hatched has F***ed us over before

I believe Naisy is telling the truth re trying to "shrug" McCann off him but he did go too far and got angry. He deserves to be banned for a game or two.

This incident and the 4-0 win have overshadowed the big issue of the weekend though.

Lafferty's pink boots! Nuff said!

Bluegenius

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Wore them for breast cancer man lol .. Total agree tho naismith woudlnt deliberatly elbow him but he tried to shrug him off and he did catch him so does deserve a ban

Agree3 Disagree0

That's a fitting gesture, a t1t wearing pink boots for breast cancer.

as regarding naisy, he should be given at least 6 months in jail for his assualt at dunfermline on saturday.absolute disgrace.if he done that on the street he would have been jailed.he should never wear a rangers jersey again.he is a THUG.

Believable0 Unbelievable9

That's why everybody buys them because the difference is yous are rip offs

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you read the papers. you have to murder someone to get a prison sentence, and sometimes that isnt enough. its a game of football. supposed to be a mans game.
pink boots. oh dear.

Agree1 Disagree0

LMAO.................... you just can't help yourselves, can you. THUG ? you need to grow up and concentrate on the shambles that is your own team, you could drive a bus through that back four at Porkheid................ the clock is ticking on the wee lemons departure, bye bye the ginger one !

Agree2 Disagree2

I think a football game is different from in the street. Would it be likely that some lad would try to stop you from getting to work? In fact, Naisy was acting quite within the scope of the game -its quite likely that someone is going to get injured in the box, toes stood on, shirts pulled etc. Far worse accidents happen and in no way was that an assault. I think it may be a game ban as his elbow was high regardless. I think Naisy is a bit of a diver and does complain a lot, but certainly far from a thug. Muzz

I see Mr Matavz opened the scoring with a lovely composed finish for PSV on his home debut against Ajax last week, you know the kind of chance Lafferty generally puts ten foot over the bar. Just saying.

Anyone bleating about Jelavic's face tripping him- it's coz he's got to play up beside that dummy. Hopefully Ally gets some cash out Tightwad for that striker in January as was reported yesterday.

Davy73

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Is that the same Lafferty who neatly tucked away a goal against Celtic and has scored 10 in his last 11 SPL games?

hello i am a tottenham fan i would like to say i would love rangers to play in the premiership but wouldn't like Celtic in the league i think rangers would bring something special

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Welcome to our site. Always enjoy watching Spurs. Never a dull game.

I have to disagree with you though. I believe both the old firm would EVENTUALLY bring something special to the Prem. I would also hate to miss out on the old firm games if we split without them.

Bluegenius.

Agree5 Disagree1

Never going to happen in a million years, its the english premier league,we need to sort out our own league or think about a european set up to generate more money, old firm in the premiership cannot and will not happen enf of

Agree1 Disagree0

Swansea are welsh and they are there.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think welsh teams in the english football league and prem are ther because when they started the football league in england there was no welsh league,am not 100 % sure of this

Agree0 Disagree0

Think of this...
If England, Scotland, Wales appear at the next few olympic tournaments with a Great British Football team it wont be long before FIFA start to classify us all as an entity.

Now if FIFA drop the separate status and we become Great Britain for National Tournaments (which is unlikely, but possible) then you could see the dibanding of the SFA etc. to form a GB Football Authority.

Without separate Associations the leagues and teams will be restructured to form a great british league.

As i said is most unlikey....But within the realms of possibility!
