Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

Questions need to be asked of HMRC, I would suggest the following:

1) why did HMRC let CW not pay NI and PAYE for so long. They seem to have come down on Hearts immediately.

2) why did they not accept Murrays offer of £10m when they
declared an amnesty on their web site and accepted
£10m from Arsenal for a supposed bill of £300m.

3) why did this take in total four years to reach a decision

4) why after deliberating for 29 days, did that take 10 months plus. Most of us work five or six days a week.

5) why was information released to the press and some web sites

6) why are they even considering an appeal when they are not going to get paid anyway, why are they wasting tax payers money.

7) why did they spend £5m on the case, refuse £10m, on an original bill of £25m.

8) why did they refuse a CVA at 8p in the £, then accept 1p in the £ from Portsmouth. Don't tell me they don't accept deals from previous "sinners" as Portsmouth have been in admin three times, each time owing the tax man money.

9) why is it one rule for Rangers and one rule for everybody else.

10) they have now had five court cases for EBTs and have lost every one of them.

If I didn't know better I would think that somebody has had it in for us. Probably a pal of the clown from rangerstaxcase, who has disappeared off the face of the planet.

If I didn't know better I would say somebody has got it in for us since day 1.

Believable37 Unbelievable20

Very well put and spot on.... oint 6 sums up their attitude perfectly ... we dont care if we waste tax payers money to get nothing in return... its rangers... only explanation... all ur other points merely reinforce tat point.... george

Agree6 Disagree16

When are yous gonna start answering questions and issuing apologies to the creditors that got ripped off

Agree25 Disagree17

The question I need answering is why have a CVA process if when it fails you state nothing changes and the club survives liquidation?
A CVA Is a waste of time then and everyone should go straight to liquidation, give nothing to creditors and pick up assets for nothing.
The reason there is a CVA process is to save the club from liquidation and destruction.
49 titles and history finished.

Agree19 Disagree15

The reason for a cva is to save a company not a club, a club cannot enter administration as it is not company. I dont get what is so hard to understand... But then bitterneas usually does affect ones ability to think. {The Ed039's Note - The common perception is that the club and the company is one and the same with everything it entails. This would be about right because if they were not then why would Charles Green consortium have to buy the "goodwill, titles and history" of Rangers)

Agree5 Disagree5

@2, Apologies have been made, an effort to pay debts with fans money has been made. We tried a CVA and eventually had to go the newco route because HMRC said no. If HMRC had given us a realistic tax bill and kept more details confidential then Im sure all the creditors would of been paid in full by now. If anyone should apologise to the little guys its HMRC for their incompetance. CheltBlue

Agree2 Disagree6

@4 - Green didn't acquire a football club per say , he bought assets of an insolvent company which had traded as a football club and sought to form his own club.
Once liquidation has been completed I'm sure it'll all make sense.

Agree11 Disagree1

>1) why did HMRC let CW not pay NI and PAYE for so long. They seem to have come down on Hearts immediately.

Just 14 months for cw, before they pulled the plug, man thats fast. EBT has taken 5+ years by comparison.

Also Hearts got 8 winding up warnings.

Epic fail on 1)

Agree5 Disagree2

>2) why did they not accept Murrays offer of £10m

If owed £25m and accept 50% from 20,000 other business thats a lot of money.

In chasing this one case, many others have paid-up.

Agree0 Disagree4

3) why did this take in total four years to reach a decision?

Read the FTT, rangers would not co-operate with HRMC, Mr Red would not even reply to thier enquires, a police raid was required to access documents... "brown envelopes" being passed to witnesses.... ?

Agree6 Disagree6

5) why was information released to the press and some web sites

Info can only come from Rangers, MIH, Police, HRMC or Court.

any could have leaked, to cause confusion and muddy the waters.

Agree1 Disagree2

Hoops fan in peace - I've signed the petition and would urge all fair minded people to do the same, utterly shameful how hmrc have acted against rfc and would love to see them taken to task (sadly cant see it though, corrupt and rotten to the core). quick note for the OP - would take out point #9 - quite petty, all other points are valid.

Agree6 Disagree10

"why after deliberating for 29 days, did that take 10 months plus. Most of us work five or six days a week."

Cos all the legal cases, and precidents had to be checked, or the decision would not stand up in court.

The time taken is more likely to protect rangers, as it makes appealing harder.

Also judges have other work, this not thier sole task.

Agree1 Disagree3

@9 where you do you get this drivel?
The Police raid was by the London Metropolitan Police in 2007. This involved 3 clubs Portsmouth, Newcastle and Rangers. It was about corruption in English football and referred to the Boumsong transfer involving Rangers.
Absolutely nothing to do with the EBT case.
You are just so bitter it makes you deluded.

Agree11 Disagree7

@13 sorry mate there was a raid in 2010

Agree2 Disagree0

@13 if you want to know bitterness mate you should start with reading and judging your own posts! You seem very angry and butter! time to chill out before your head explodes!

Hi Rangers fans a Everton fan here with a question for you.

When Jelavic was at your club did he have a reputation for falling out with other players?

I ask because there are rumours going on down Goodison that him and Mirallas have fallen out big time, and is going to demand a transfer in January, so would be grateful to know if anything like this ever happened at Rangers.

toffeeblue

Believable17 Unbelievable7

Jelavic is using your team to get a bigger move, he done it to Vienna and rangers.

Agree22 Disagree4

Never heard of any dressing room arguments at Ibrox mate, when jela was here all the players pulled together due to the off field stuff going on. As far as I no he was a quiet sort

Agree6 Disagree12

Hes always looking for the bigger move

Agree19 Disagree4

Bet Vienna thought they were in the money when they sold him, only to suffer duped and recieve a fraction of what they were due.

Agree14 Disagree9

When jelavic wants to play he's top class. When jelavic fancies a move he stops playing ad he did in about November 2011 for us. I feel he'll still be at everton and scoring til end of this season. After that?

Agree6 Disagree1

Jelly is class mate but will want to move to a bigger club he was always at these games.

Agree8 Disagree2

OP, Jelavic was known not to mix with other players while he was here. Some people said he was quiet and others say he is a premadona. I would lean towards the latter. Him and his dad was in the papers up here saying Man U wanted him and then it was Liverpool. As an Evertonian how do you feel about your star player begging your biggest rivals to sign him days before he signed for you? I like Everton since Sir Walter was there and I would hazard a guess that Jellyfish will be trying to find a way out at Goodison. He thinks he should be playing for Barca. Just watch out, he will go on strike at some point, he refused to play for Rapid and us to force a move.

Agree7 Disagree2

Every player is always trying to get a move to a bigger club because it's bigger money , that's human nature. unless you play for the biggest and best ie real, barca or man u . then you dont move to bigger , just more money. can jelavic move to the biggest. ? . no he is not good enough for the best . no disrespect to everton but you are his level.. shamrock {The Ed039's Note - And he is doing quite well, I think he will move to a slightly bigger club, but not a dominant name like you mentioned above)

Agree3 Disagree1

What about Caley Thistle? They recently beat the former greatest team in the world.

Agree5 Disagree0

OP here, i have to say if these rumours are true then i'll pack jellas bag for him as im getting fed up with his sulky attitude on the pitch, and not only that Mirallas is twice the player he is and he works for the team.

Agree1 Disagree1

@9
Very similar to Stirling beating the so called best team in the world

Vambo

Agree3 Disagree5

@11 Best team in the world? We are in the fckin third division. Doooohhhh! We know we aren't unlike you dhims. Greatest club in the world? yes and I think we have proven that over the last few months!

nice to see former player alan hutton going from strength to strength.
a player who was massivley overrated. martin bain must still laugh out loud when he thinks how spurs paid 9 million for this dud of a player. harry rednapp sussed him out in 5 mins. he is nowhere near a premiership player or worth even one million. the boy also thinks hes chocolate so its nice to see. and yes i am a rangers fan but i never liked the guy too arrogant .
rangers

tottenham (unbelievable)
loaned to
suderland
rejected to
aston villa (only because of mccleish)
rejected to
nottingham forest haha
next move
albion rovers

Believable9 Unbelievable10

Aye but a very well paid dud....

Agree8 Disagree3

MCoist would have him back in a heartbeat, beggars can't be choosers.....

Agree6 Disagree8

Albion Rovers still a step up from the rangers
DB77

Agree11 Disagree4

Let me tell you that Spurs did not pay £9m for him. Murray had agreed to pay joe Lewis £9m for his shares and didnt have it, so he gave him Hutton. I am assured this is 100% correct.

Agree0 Disagree11

26 Nov 2012 21:02:33
He didnt want to leave Rangers, they owed money and had to sell so why are you having a pop at him. That money kept the wolves from the door

Agree3 Disagree4

He started off really promising at Ibrox then after the league break was awful. Funny thing was that at one point Rangers would have probably let him go for free but ended up getting £9m. Had one really good season at Rangers and was sold. Probably not a Priemership player but neither is Whittaker both good SPL players though

Agree4 Disagree0

You'll be one ae the auld faithful mob that slaughtered the lad fur a season then wet ur pants the following season when he was outstanding domestically n in europe, particuarly against stuttgart at ibrox n lyon away. That same game against stuttgart charlie adam scored an absolute peach n was great for us at times but fans like u never backed the lad n slaughtered the scottish lads like stephen hughes, chris burke n maurice ross as well as adam n hutton whilst foreign duds like capucho, ostenstead, emerson, ect,ect got away with murder n on double the wages i mite add. Huttons made a fortune, played for scotlands greatest club, capped by scotland, played in the CL n at the highest level in the EPL......sour grapes pal?!
J1985

Agree7 Disagree4

To this day Hutton is still our most expensive export , fair he hasn't went on to bigger and better things but he made enough money from his time in the prem to lead a comfortable life for him his wife and 3 young kids . He never wanted to leave the club but when he did he was our top performer and also the Scottish national teams top performer , he single handedly took on the French and Italians . @1 tell me another rangers player apart from gio van bronckhorst that has left the club and bettered his career , not too many is there ?

Agree0 Disagree3

IF the joe lewis story is true ? why did we not just give spurs whitts and clubfoot then clear the whole £40m?.... george

Agree0 Disagree2

@8 Rino Gattuso. But you are right, not many. CheltBlue {The Ed039's Note - I am not understanding the Alan Hutton bashing here, in no way is he a world beater, but a poor player, no chance, I feel sorry for the lad because Aston Villa dont have a great deal of players who can get from defence to attack as quickly as he does, one of his great strengths. I suspect he will be back at Ibrox before the end of his career and I hope he can rediscover some sort of form)

Agree4 Disagree1

I hope he doesnt return hes useless and he is a very poor player with a very poor attitude.

Believable26 Unbelievable16

And you have not one word to say about rangers playing football...?

Celtic top of Scottish Football with a game in hand. Celtic one game away from the last sixteen in Europe and garuanteed Euro football after Christmas.

Rangers still in the fourth tier of Scottish footballl and still being investigated for failing to register players correctly.

Whats changed?

Agree24 Disagree12

As petty as this is Jamie Murphy is not a Rangers fan, he is a Celtic fan, not that it really matters.

Agree4 Disagree24

@3

Its not petty, its just factually inaccurate!!
He is a self proclaimed gers fan. But if you just want to argue, what can we do.
