I heard a rumour that nobody on this page can spell Michael O'Halloran correctly!

27 May 2017 01:49:53
Its a good job he doesn't have a 't' in his name, because he can't cross for sh$t!

27 May 2017 09:59:29
Good one parky,
Made me giggle

27 May 2017 12:20:26
That's cause no one wants to spell his name at all

26 May 2017 17:41:35
I would only judge Pedro on his own signings, yes he might be a bit outspoken but time will tell, let's see what happens

26 May 2017 22:29:12
Miles out of his depth. You don't openly put 11 players on the transfer list and put price tags on them. He won't be allowed to bring in players till he has got rid of some. These players won't leave till it suits them. Why can't Pedro see that? He is clueless

26 May 2017 23:02:27
Lets just wait and see! Who said that he has put eleven players on the transfer list; oh yes, the Daily Record, that intellectual paper, more like a blo0dy comic!

Pedro is being linked with some quality overseas players and some good Scottish players. He inherited a team stacked full of cowards and generally substandard players

It will be interesting to see how he does next year and I just hope that he has the players that he wants at his disposal so we can put the bunch in the East End back in their box!

26 May 2017 19:55:41
So was saf and so is jose. I don't mind a bit of mind games just think pc takes it a bit far

26 May 2017 22:07:04
Ped need to hit the ground and go. I don't think he's the man for rangers but let's see what happens.

27 May 2017 01:51:49
Johnnymac, why would you think PC had any input on player valuatons etc? He says who he would like to keep/ leave and the directors would decide on how much they would accept for them.

27 May 2017 19:31:22
johnnymac believes what's been reported in the Rhebel. Says everything really.

26 May 2017 16:55:25
at this moment, who is the best between MacGregor and Wes?

26 May 2017 17:07:02
Well wes is our player and McGreggor is now irrelivant so there's yer answer

26 May 2017 18:13:59
That's a tough one, Mcgregor was good for us and he shags ten birds a night but I'll stick by Wes. 👍

26 May 2017 19:24:38
Shagger was 10 times the keeper Wes is

26 May 2017 19:30:49
McGregor easy

26 May 2017 19:31:12
Pity he was such a dick though

26 May 2017 20:20:51
shagger all day long

sorry bears i think wes had dodged most of the flak flying about this season that both managers and other players have all copped

he's a decent shot stopper but doesn't come off his line doesn't command his box and some of the goals he losses are unacceptable. i know the defence in front of him has been poor but top class keeper - sorry i just don't see it

26 May 2017 20:22:49
Is this a serious question Wes is gash get a grip

26 May 2017 21:20:01
McGregor all day long, I'm not saying wes is bad but shagger was top top class on his day, in another note living in and watching Fleetwood in league one down here I've seen a bit if jak alnwick and really hope he gets the chance he deserves as I honestly think he could be giving Fod a bit of fight for the number 1 spot, just my opinion but very good keeper who should have been playing much higher than league 1

26 May 2017 21:40:35
Correct FleetwoodBear, on his day. I can recall many days where he must have been recovering from his offfield pursuits. I'll stick with Wes.

28 May 2017 06:58:24
Just from the 90mins he played the other day you could see that young Alnwick is more of the complete package. He actually came out for the ball. handles all crosses and helped out his defense too.

28 May 2017 10:17:49
He wants to come back

26 May 2017 16:06:56
So Carlos pena is a holding midfielder so him and rossiter will be top two picks for that position so if jack does come he will be a squad player just like I said all along.

26 May 2017 16:22:09
He's not a holding midfielder at all he's a CAM if anything?

26 May 2017 16:27:05
Maybe Rossiter

26 May 2017 17:04:47
I would have thought that all three of these players would be in our midfield along with at least one quality winger. I don't see Pena as a holding midfield player!

What we will have is three strong, winners in the midfield that are good quality football players that are not frightened to mix it with guys like Brown!

If the names that are now being mentioned end up at Ibrox then we might just win the league next season!

26 May 2017 17:38:35
Yeah, pena is a more attacking advanced mid, rossiter, jack and pena as a middle 3 would be a great mix. I don't see Jack as only being a DM either, all 3 can mix it up toon. Exciting times

26 May 2017 19:12:02
I just hope we manage to get some of these players in, they appear more quality than those we have been used to. Left myself open to you reckon responses here l guess. I don't know if l should be excited or nervous, that's what being a fan of Glasgow Rangers does to me

26 May 2017 22:38:04
Tomusa do you really believe that 3 signings will claw back Celtic by 39 points? Stop making yourself look silly. The 3 signings you mention may allow Rangers to win more games against the rest but not enough to win the league? Grow up! The listing of quality signings is about selling season tickets

26 May 2017 23:07:39
I am expecting a lot more than three signings including three quality players from Mexico, two from Portugal one from England and two or three good quality Scottish players. Assuming that Rossiter is fully fit then, yes, with these signings I do believe that Rangers can challenge Celtic for the League

27 May 2017 01:33:32
39 points? I'm pretty sure it goes back to zero for next season?

26 May 2017 14:37:30
Carlos Pena looking like it's going to be a loan deal with option to buy.

26 May 2017 11:59:31
So much negativity on here from certain posters. It seems they will never be happy. Warburton's signings were rubbish. I have no problem if Pedro signs players of the calibre of Alves or Pena. Continental Euopean and Latin American have naturally more skill and Alves and Pena look like tough cookies, the type Broonie wouldn't push around. A midfield with Rossiter, Jack and Pena sounds the business. For goodness sake, give Pedro a chance!

26 May 2017 12:36:32
Agreed Doiger. let's see who ped the ted actually brings in b4 slating him. Anyone believes the record let alone reads it needs their head looked at! Give the man a chance!
We all want the very best to challenge and overtake that mob but its gona take time. Its not wat anyone wants to hear but that's the truth while we r continually hamstrung by ashley. Bears forever not just in the good times! . FIRB

26 May 2017 21:29:59
At last news seems to be quite positive, yes pena looks to be the player we have needed forma long time, some one who can give Brown a real fight in midfield, the young boy cordosa could be a real aquisition, especially at the price being mentioned, another quality addition in each defence, midfield and attack along with rossiter and kranjcar coming back from lengthy lay offs then next season should be a whole lot better, in PEDRO we trust

26 May 2017 05:01:14
So looks like Pedro is making a move for a Mexican that has never played outside Mexico. who made a big money move to another Mexican side and could not settle. Seems like a big risk to spend money on bringing him to freezing cold Scotland then don't it?

26 May 2017 06:48:53
Without putting anymore of a dampener on it sharpy there's not many South American type players managed to settle in Scotland over the years but hopefully we can be proved wrong if we do manage to sign him

26 May 2017 07:23:49
Will need a work permit and currently he doesn't meet the criteria

26 May 2017 09:23:16
Yes he does

26 May 2017 10:06:00
Bengy, he does meet the criteria or is very close to it, he shouldn't find it difficult getting a work permit.

26 May 2017 12:06:50
Some people saying that it may not to be good to sign the lad Pena is strange to personally

1. Because we really needed Ped to open up his book of contacts.

2. Spl players on there own will just have us chasing shadows again against Celtic.

3. Do some people just the same old English dross that bread man brought in. Unimaginative failures.

Me I'm all for it, give me alves, cardoso, and Pena any day of the week.

Yes there's a risk, but it's a far cry from breadmans dross and remember these are all players that have played for international sides, which are way ahead of Scotland, maybe cardoso less so- and play at a much better standard domestically.

I could may well be proved wrong but at least we are giving something different a try - for me refreshing.
ONLY TIME WILL TELL.

If we could pull of alves, we'll tbh that's the one that excites me the most despite the guys age.

26 May 2017 12:41:09
Pena unsettled and yet he denies these claims and over the past 2 seasons has made 69 league appearances scoring 18 goals from midfield with 7 yellows and no reds. Good stats for someone who is 'unsettled'.

26 May 2017 18:59:48
see if we where buying from the championship and league 1 the same people would come on and slaqte the manager for that too.

before the end of season most people where saying buy scottish and add a few foreigners well that is what it looks like he is doing.

he won't please everyone but hopefully he can make us a team to be feared again.

warburtons signings where okay for the championship but here we need international players.

bengy what made u say pena doesn't meet the criteria for a work permit.

was it just something u thought so just posted it or is there any evidence behind that statement? (doubt it)

27 May 2017 07:34:46
There was something in one of the papers the other day about him only playing 2 games for Mexico in the last few years which meant he didn't make the criteria for a work permit. Also think his agent has been quoted as saying that the permit is an issue they hope to overcome.

27 May 2017 23:01:12
Work permits shouldn't be a problem for us lads. Wee secret handshake with the officials and it will be sorted 😜

26 May 2017 00:58:52
Just wondering people's thoughts but would any people agree taking on Tammy Abraham on loan from Chelsea scored 20+ goals this season in a better division this season for Bristol city. Onul downfall is there is host of clubs looking at him such as Newcastle Brighton.

26 May 2017 03:14:36
And that's there he'll go

26 May 2017 06:08:57
yet again farflung signing who would have no interest what so ever in coming here.

we need small steps, take the cream a the spl then secure first/ second then even consider signing this type of player.

its people like you who inlfuence our simpeler fans that we can still buy well thought of players.

people only come to scotland as there is a high chance if trophies, until we are up there we will continue to attract dross and hopefully a few gems

26 May 2017 06:57:37
Weve no got enough cash 2 compete wae teams in the premiership. he will end up wae newcastle or brighton on aboot 60 grand a week. that would be oor whole budget lol

26 May 2017 06:58:26
We just need to hope we get lucky when we sign anybody nowadays bluenose as we simply don't have the money to pay the kind of wages that these highly rated youngsters are on especially from the bigger teams in the English premier league, but I do believe there are gems out there somewhere let's hope Pedro can find us 1 or 2 for the coming season

26 May 2017 07:25:26
The cream of the spl all play in green and white so we won't be getting any if them

26 May 2017 19:08:17
TO the negative posts above this player is not going to sign permanent for Newcastle or Brighton it will be a loan deal. an for BLUEBLOODGERZ I never said buy I said loan and as for not coming he could look at Dembele for example and think of the success he had and earn himself to a top a host of clubs like Dembele been mentioned for or even get get himself label a 20-30 million plus striker.

26 May 2017 21:33:53
No chance of signing any one with the reputation and promise of Tammy Abraham who is on the books of an EPL side, the money that these clubs want for these boys and the wages the boys are on are way out of our budget, sad but for the foreseeable that's the way it is I'm afraid
