Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

26 Mar 2020 21:50:14
Yeah. Just read, that the German league top 4 are paying money to keep the other teams afloat. I wouldn't give a penny to save any of our other teams. I don't even buy a water at their grounds. They threw us to the bottom and loved it when we were at the lowest. They ALL tried to kill Rangers FC. I have no inclination to help them in any way whatsoever. If they fail, let them start at the third tier like we did. Our team first. Always. Stuff the rest.

26 Mar 2020 23:59:36
We might need a sub from them as we are skint also. Where are we going to find the money for wages etc until the end of the season. Plus we owe money to Close Brothers and to Liverpool for Kent. It all very well saying the smaller clubs will struggle, question is will we?

27 Mar 2020 18:16:54
Rossco3001, hear, hear, mate, I've not been to any away grounds since we reached the premier league, this time.

29 Mar 2020 18:24:35
The stuck, that's what we use season ticket money for, as far as i know close brothers bedt has ben paid, plus the money for kent is also under control, so if that's your only two worries worry no more, mate.

26 Mar 2020 20:39:21
am hearing the spfl are about to pay out money for the season to keep clubs afloat can only mean one thing
they got 9iar.

26 Mar 2020 21:34:18
Big blue, that’s not 9 in a row and surely you no that as the season was never finished βœŒοΈβœŠπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.

27 Mar 2020 07:10:14
Guys, they're only paying out early to save financial hardship to some degree. No decisions have been made regarding the Top Leagues in Europe or the UK as yet.

26 Mar 2020 17:25:33
Why don't the SPFL reconstruct the leagues by expanding the PL to 16 Teams playing each other twice with no split and bring in the best from the Lowland, Highland and Junior Leagues and expand the other 2 divisions below the PL to 18 or 20 team leagues mabey even try and build a 3rd division from what's left from the HL/ LL/ JL and still keep the pyramid system allowing clubs to enter to SPFL and with regards to promotion and relegation have 2 teams automatically up and down from each division and then have the 3rd bottom of the league above play the 3rd top of the league below to decide the 3rd and with then having a PL of 16 teams playing each other twice that would be 30 games which would allow for a break in winter or longer summer break and also help prevent fixture buildup with postponed games cup replays ect.

26 Mar 2020 18:26:29
I really like the sound of that. The clubs in top league now need old firm games though. Actually discussed similar with a lad at work today though. If there is a chance the club's go to the wall altogether with what's going on maybe it's a better option. Now could be the time to try and revitalise our league set up.

26 Mar 2020 19:28:04
Tv money the issue
Sky demand 4 old firm games.

26 Mar 2020 19:33:04
Sky would never put up with it and part of the deal will be 4 Old Firm games. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.

27 Mar 2020 06:55:06
Sky might accept a different package with them having more competition that ever now with the likes of BT, Amazon, netflix and others all trying to get a slice of the pie now and compared to what the pump into the game in England they only pay the Scottish game a pittance anyway it's time for our league bosses to try harder to sell the TV rights for more as at present it feels like they just settle for what their given and having a league structures like I said before might make there be better competition maybe not with Us and them but I reckon it will improve the competition right down through the leagues.

27 Mar 2020 07:14:10
Sky are the bugbear in all of football in this country, and it's anything but a fair divide of funds either. Maybe time for us in Scotland to tell them to sod off, and get BT Sport and BBC taking over the rights up here, just a thought.

27 Mar 2020 11:34:06
Aye Ready, that will never happen, as it has too much common sense for the neanderthals that run our game.

27 Mar 2020 12:44:14
Irvger, bt sport and bbc to take over? I don't fancy listening to either of there tv presenters commenting on rangers games, never, and being honest i. don't know why you would wish to have them,

28 Mar 2020 12:59:13
Paul, I know what you mean, but anything is better than Crocker and Walker.

26 Mar 2020 16:19:33
On the BBC website:

"All football in England below the three divisions that make up the National League will end immediately and all results will be expunged".

Surely they must follow that by applying the same ruling to all the English leagues and the Scottish leagues must follow suit?

26 Mar 2020 13:50:23
Here's an idea, give Celtic the league because they are top but with the caveat that we get the champions league place for next season because we've lasted the longest in Europe this season. They can continue their quest for ten in a row but we get the chance of serious money to stop them.

26 Mar 2020 14:12:39
Thejuanpacer, no chance mate, we will be playing champions league football next season, regardless.

26 Mar 2020 14:45:14
We won't be in the champions league next season. The season after that yes, but not next.

26 Mar 2020 14:50:58
Next year marco this league is not won yet.

26 Mar 2020 15:02:22
If the competitions are void then all the coefficients will go down the swanny?

26 Mar 2020 18:05:31
C_of_ibrox, exactly coefficient will drop back to what it was at beginning of this season,
Basically start again next season, if we can play a next season that is.
Wish everyone in the UK and all over the world the best of health .
Take care fellow bears.

29 Mar 2020 00:43:24
Charlie, the co officiancy point stand, mate, its been announced.

26 Mar 2020 13:47:05
hearing a lot about sportsmen/ women from all sports taking wage cuts or donating wages to help in these sad times
hoping our club makes some sort of gesture.

26 Mar 2020 15:06:19
We can all do something mbb21 we don't have to sit back and wait for others to do something on our behalf.

26 Mar 2020 15:18:47
mbb21 it has already made several.

26 Mar 2020 22:20:16
What has your club done? . 2 bottles of soap to a care home and offering parking for hospital staff who would then have a 40 minute walk to and from work. useless!

26 Mar 2020 22:56:52
We are handing out soap and Celtic are handing out letters telling fans to use it!

27 Mar 2020 07:18:11
Whilst your club makes grand gestures to disguise the fact all it actually cares about Briggs is getting its grubby hands on a tainted title it hasn't earned. πŸ‘πŸ˜·πŸ‘€.

27 Mar 2020 12:50:21
C of ibrox, that made me laugh mate, the letters are the instructions on how to use the soap, mate.

26 Mar 2020 11:58:13
My mate thought he was a key worker because he cuts keys.

26 Mar 2020 08:37:10
In times like these football comes a very distant second. To all who have an opinion on wether the league should be null and void or to the other half who want the 9.please remember there are lives being lost in vast amounts daily. So this message is to everyone who has an opinion on football in the spl and world football.

Who cares?

Spl give them the 9 then fine
They null and void it then fine

Aslong as this virus f#@ks off then i don't care what happens anymore.

My son coughed just once yesterday and i was on edge the rest of the day.

So to all of you still moaning about this damn league and what should happen. get a grip. in no way shape or form will this league affect any of our lives regardless of what happens. itl b a dissapointment to whoever losses from it but who cares. this covid is no joke. be plenty of time in a few months for us all to get back to what we do best and that's supporting the famous glasgow rangers. over on the tic site they're bayin for blood. They want to see rangers die through this. total dissapointment. i'm all for banter but using this deadly virus as ajoke is childish. sporting integrity . don't make me laugh. seen more sporting integrity from 2 rats fighting over a chip.

Wee message to ED. thanks for keeping the site open in these hard times. We all appreciate it and keeps us bears united. together we will over come this. keep fighting lads and never surrender. see you all at ibrox very soon πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.

26 Mar 2020 09:14:07
I thought it was only me who heard my son cough the other day and was over asking him a hundred questions to make sure he was ok this virus is is no joke. If Celtic do get handed the title then so be it.

26 Mar 2020 09:54:55
I am still convinced there is more to this "virus" than meets the eye.

Catching a virus simply by briefly touching an item is far too far fetched, seems to me it's a NOVICHOK type poison.

Lets hope we can get a solution sooner rather than later, cause I would rather be fighting in Afghanistan than being locked in at home.

Starting to run out of Rangers games videos on you tube.

{Ed001's Note - you can catch a cold that way. It is why when my best mate had leukemia I had to go through all this washing hands routine, wearing mask etc to visit him. Any virus can be passed by dirty hands. When you have a cold, you will get rid of it much quicker by simply washing your hands regularly.}

26 Mar 2020 10:06:38
Your right of course Ed, seems washing hands every five mins is a bit excessive to me tho.

{Ed001's Note - it is just the way it has to be. Doctors and nurses should be doing these things anyway, so we are just seeing a glimpse into the lengths they have to go to in order to avoid passing on diseases. The problem is that most people just run a bit of water over their hands and think that is enough. Then they dry their hands on the same towels others use. That is why coughs and colds spread so quickly in the workplace, lack of basic hygiene.}

26 Mar 2020 10:07:58
Ps.

Sorry to hear of mate Ed.

{Ed001's Note - it was a shame, he was the nicest guy I ever knew, despite being from Manchester and being a Man Utd fan. He beat cancer twice but leukemia was just a step too far for him.}

26 Mar 2020 10:38:07
Thanks again Ed,

Your knowledge and experience should make us all appreciate life as it is and to soldier on like you have.

Thanks again for that Ed.

{Ed001's Note - you just have to get on with it. Everytime you can't be arsed with washing your hands or whatever, you just have to think about how you have so many lives in your hands each time you don't.}

26 Mar 2020 10:41:53
ps again Ed,

Man U. was my second team by the way.

Worked down in Old Trafford for 6 years a long time ago.

Just over the fence from Trafford Park.

{Ed001's Note - yeah I can never get my head round second teams. I can't find it in myself to care about the results of more than one team being honest.}

26 Mar 2020 13:09:21
Sorry to hear about your mate Ed.
Having a second team is probably easier if you support a team in a league where the standard is "ahem" lower.
Gives you a team to watch where it is actually the beautiful game!

{Ed001's Note - that is a good point about the lower standard. Would explain why my cousin, who is an Evertonian, also supports other teams! He grew up in Newport, so used to follow them around everywhere as a kid and now lives by Charlton's ground so watches them at home now. Obviously Newport was a step up from Everton and now Charlton is a step up from them....}
