So proud of the Rangers fans who attended old Tommy's funeral today, and whoever bought the Ibrox brick for Tommy take a bow. These things make me proud to be a Rangers fan, we are a special bunch. Upwards and onwards.

Anyone heard anything about Nadir Ciftic moving to Rangers, would love this to happen, just the sort of young player that we could use.

Rangers nearly signed Petr Chec yesterday, he was desperate so sign for the mighty Gers, that's what was holding up his move to Arsenal, however upon much reflection and video tape watching MW decided he did not like how Chec passed the ball out from the back and it was soon realised that he would not fit into the footballing philosophy that MW believes in. I feel sorry for the poor Petr but some players just have what it takes.

You are dead right mate. It is a little frustrating but he is doing the right thing, taking his time making sure we get the right lads in. The people whinging will be the first to get on the players back if they don't cut the mustard and have been rushed in. A lot of things will be going on behind the scenes we will only find out when the deals are almost done

I agree Scotty. I Know he needs to take his time and get it right but I'm just desperate for good news.

26 Jun 2015 15:01:10
Surely he would have had a list of players he would like before getting the job, the thing you need to remember that it can take half a season at least to settle a new squad

Well may, u will have to wait, all business takes time, as all players are on holiday, we now have hope that the new men in charge will do wots good for RANGERS, do u honestly think mark Warburton would have damaged his reputation, a great one at that, to come here and sign a few duds and hope for the best,?, he has plans m8, and king and co are backing him, and big Davie is an absolute legend in my eyes, they have my support, totally, so chill m8, nothing has to be stated now, though we have signed 2 players already,

Paper talk, Allan apparently not leaving hibs, what's your thoughts guys, mine is if he wants to see out his contract and help get hibs up he ain't going to sign for us IF we fail to get promoted again.

Believable1 Unbelievable9

26 Jun 2015 09:45:15
I think that if he stays with hibs now and sees out his contract he will know where rangers will be next season and could be free to move there whereas if he moves to rangers now he gambles possibly more time in the championship if we don't go up.

Agree6 Disagree2

26 Jun 2015 09:58:23
He is saying all the right things but if an offer comes in then I expect Hibs to let him go, reluctantly perhaps but they won't turn down the best part of £1m for him. Isn't it just a shame that Rangers had a moron as manager that let Allen go to Hibs in the first place. That clown is costing Rangers more than the grossly excessive salary that he was being paid.

Agree5 Disagree2

26 Jun 2015 10:02:40
well let's be a bit more positive, we are not going to fail! And I'm not really excited by him as a player, I think the championship is his level so he's be best staying at Hibs!

Agree3 Disagree3

26 Jun 2015 10:03:45
Fair point Myles although if we were to get him the now or get him on a pre contract (January) that could upset the hibbies and there fans, could be a masterstroke in the mind games.

26 Jun 2015 11:02:06
No point crying over spilled milk, no point moaning about ally not signing allan it's the PAST! If hehad signed him who's to say he wouldn't have been sold anywayjust like Macleod. if we get Allan good if we don't then there are other players.

Agree2 Disagree4

26 Jun 2015 11:55:19
Allan's just saying what you'd expect him to say. He's under contract to Hibs and I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to join us. And he's a damn fine player and just the type we need. Hopefully we put in a good offer soon because every game counts and January is too far away to make a move for him.

26 Jun 2015 15:44:41

F Eustace,rather have a fruit slice!

Agree5 Disagree1

26 Jun 2015 10:22:56
Haha, if he is able to stay clear of injuries he will be a great signing, he'll not be the most exciting player that we will sign but he does the simple things really well, can break up play brilliantly and very rarely gives the ball away. Every team needs a player like this, not the most exciting to watch but very effective and creates time and space for the more creative players to do the exciting stuff.

Anyone know what the bit on the news about Murray park was all about, Sportscotland gave us money to build it- thanks again Sir David Murray

Believable1 Unbelievable3

they gave the ground on the understanding if it was ever sold they would get £500 k that's all

yeh and they sought reassurances that if Ashley was to sell it if rangers defaulted on the loan then the would get there money back and this was agreed and signed recently with Paul Murray some one from sports direct and and some one from sport Scotland
