ally keep playing one up front and u r days are numbered. simples. for a striker he was himself. unfortunately he learnt from a defensive manager. in walter. he changes to two and at times three up front. or its bye bye

Believable23 Unbelievable2

Been reading all the posts about the singing and all the ways to deal with it and to me they all seem pointless. this has got to start from ground level, no catholic or protestant schools to start with because this is, nt football this is religion. we, ve got to take all this away from the kids growing up just now, let the old school die, we must do away with lodges, and walks, hibs walks orange walks, these things are keeping it going, don't any body tell me an orange walk or hibs walk is anything to do with football, its not, its religion. and what the fk has ireland or the queen got to do with scottish football because they could, nt care less, stop it at the bottom rung and let it disappear. we all beleive in god so why a proddy god and a tim god, take catholic and protestant out of your childrens vocabulary and let's do away with this rubbish and put scotland back on the world football stage where we all support a scottish team in europe without bigotry and religion standing in the way. maybe one day!

Agree21 Disagree8

Total and utter joke -- again no tactics, poor team formation -- time after time we have seen this from Ally, - when are we going to say enough is enough - doesn't look as if Charlie is going to bother, as he only looks at the revenue from the dedicated suport. How long is it going to take for people to realise that Mccoist and his so called coaching staff are a disgrace.

Agree11 Disagree4

Like a lot of fans this year- we have shown patience and accept there is a long way to go. BUT last night was for me, when the alarm bells went off!
Not one of that team (possibly? Wallace) would have got into ANY Rangers team over the last 10 years. There is no pattern of play, no fight, no style. We must be the worst team in Scotland at defending freekicks & corners - and don't start me on our efforts which are pathetic. (Why does Black take most of them?)
This season should have been about consolidating and building a team for next year. It appears we are no further forward than we were last august!Things aren't going to change now for this season - but some serious thinking about the basic structure of our playing and coaching staff before next season is urgently needed.

Agree11 Disagree4

The difference between Walter and allys tactics is Walter played 1 upfront against top Euro sides and Celtic, no way we would be playing 1 upfront with Walter in the 3rd division.

Agree9 Disagree3

To @1. Not sure what your reply had to do with the OP. But well said and I hope the same. Houses of worship empty every weekend, but walks of bile packed to the rafters. It's not religion and it's not football. should end now.

Agree7 Disagree1

It's obvious ally isn't the manager through his management skills, so the question has to be what's Charles greens motive for keeping him?

Agree6 Disagree0

@1 well said sir. I have never understood why folk wear a rangers or celtic top to one of these walks. They have nothing to do with football.

Agree8 Disagree2

@6 Green can't aford to get rid of McCoist-----financially or by upsetting fans. Yes, there are fans who would be unhappy if he were to get 'sacked' but he should think of leaving for the clubs sake (forget the money---he's made piles before all this)

Ally
I'm a Season Ticket holder and have just shelled out another £35 for tickets for my sons in the Copland Front for the Annan game.
Can you explain how Ross County can be lying 3rd in the SPL with probably at least a 10th of your budget and you can't put a team out to beat Stirling Albion!

Believable30 Unbelievable5

No point in wasting your breath am sure I hear him say on saturday he doesn't listen to the fans

Agree28 Disagree0

Op - you got 7 sons? Pretty sure it's only a fiver a pop?

Agree1 Disagree4

Hes listened to Walter too long he has drummed the 4 5 1 formation into him because ally does not know how to attack only time he done it was old firm game where Celtic could have won league at Ibrox because he had to that was enough to get the players up for it

Agree3 Disagree0

“That said over recent weeks it is difficult to be over critical of the team because they are generally picking up points and winning games" - Ally's response

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy asking if I have 7 sons I am a 60year old season ticket holder with 2 married sons aged 39 and 37 so 16x2 = 32 +3 extras = 35.
The cash is not my point its Ally and his lack of management skills.
I have grandsons who I hope will join us soon at Ibrox but not to witness the current dross!

26 Feb 2013 21:48:12
Enough is enough! Surely to goodness McCoist HAS to go. Tonight's performance was one of the worst ever with too many players hiding throughout. When Stirling scored clueless McCoist just stood there with no reaction. The guy then waited until just over 15 minutes to go before making a double substitution that was plain to see to everyone long before he did. Players can have bad games or show lack of effort. Not only does McCoist seem to reward these jokers by continuing to pick them but he shows an incredible ineptitute when it comes to tactics. I'm sick of people banging on about the position we're in and the constraints on players or the fact that we're running away with the league. MCoist and his staff are basically useless and ther's no getting away from this!

Believable24 Unbelievable11

McCoist, Durrant and McDowall are expensive passengers but mark my words they will run off and replace players until McCoist gets lucky before getting rid of him.

Agree10 Disagree4

Bears

If the papers are right, Green. Murray, McCoist, and the rest of the management team are to be paid between them more than £1, 300,000 (350k+for AM and CG) in bonus for getting promotion from the third division, and a similar amount when we get up from the 2nd and first.

That means that most of the cash we have raised in the share issue will have been spent on bonus's for three straight promotions.

Given the extravegant salaries for all concerned - this is not right!

We can spend our hard earned better than this

Let ally finish the season then let him go he has to relies he has just not got it a can't go throu another season of this the player are not that bad his tatics are shocking or if he is incharge he shouldn't go on holiday and play champ manger cause that's the closest to ever being a manger

Believable16 Unbelievable9

He will stay just so in the end he can say he won something, so it's really a pity trophy for him lol

ally just has not got it to be a good manager nice guy but not a good manager.

Believable19 Unbelievable8

Nice guy? aye rightyho

Agree11 Disagree6

The only way mccoist will go is if the fans demand it. Let's be honest if we don't we are going nowhere. He has not got a clue. Must be sacked. Charlie if you do no sack him u r not doing your job! Time to relieve him of his duties.

Agree13 Disagree5

And cue Ally's defenders. What is it tonight? Too cold? wrong soup for dinner? Did not like the view? Or maybe it was poor buys and poorer tactics playing badly, again.

Agree10 Disagree4

FFS did not take you long-no other team in the British Isles this year has failed against lower opposition? Well that's it then case closed sack someone!!
Lets remember that while some clubs come up against lesser opposition once a season and can come un done we have to face 36 such games, a betting man might even work on the law of averages and make money. And before the pish about wages is trotted out what is the difference between the EPL and Bradford, Celtic and Arbroath/St Mirren etc etc.
I am sick and tired of the negativity that gets posted and I am often left wondering if that is our support who the hell needs the opposition?
A question only true bears in their hearts can answer and all others will delight in telling us!!!!!

Agree7 Disagree16

Only one answer and. I WONT LIE TO YOU. we were rubbish

Agree13 Disagree2

@4 It is the SEVENTH time in 26 attempts. So for all big teams can lose cup games, can drop league points against inferior opposition a 1 in 3 ratio is bad given how much better than these teams Rangers should be. And yes the wages are of significance, interesting you referenced Bradford, did you see them at the weekend? A focused EPL team dismantled them, none of this half a first team Wenger tried, guys hungry and better ultimately left them getting their first shot on target in the 84th minute. That is the chasm between a focused EPL team and mid-table Division 2. Rangers gulf to these teams should arguably be bigger and DEFINITELY not have a fail ratio of higher than 33%. But fair play to you at least you didn't mention no pre-season to justify tonight's pathetic effort!

Agree12 Disagree1

@4 haha lost it finally yeah pmsl
Surprised you didn't mention the lost all your players because they walked walked away!
The fact is the gulf between rangers and Albion is enormous! Obviously both on and off the pitch lol

Agree2 Disagree0

@6) That couldn't have been more precise and on the nose of I had wrote it myself. Absolutely spot on.

There is no excuse for failing to win that many games at this level, and to be playing very average football even in the games we are succeeding as well. The guy posting about ignoring the wage budget difference lost my attention at that point. Your blinded mate, a perfect example of a fan wishing and hoping that fans hero Super Ally will eventually turn into a good manager, but things more often than not don't work out that way and for the good of the club, especially in an important time of growth hard decisions have to be made. It's timet o start making plans for life at Rangers after McCoist.

whilst I am behind ally mccoist. we are 22 points ahead in the league. playing one of the worst teams in britain tonite. and he still insists on playing only one up front. what is that all about. if he gets sacked that l be the reason. saying on radio when other spl fans told there chairmans to banish rangers to lower leagues they promised to make up the shortfal of fans. in fact numbers are down in every ground in scotland except one. ibrox. just shows u how bad scotish footbal is when wales have produced in recent times. world class players like giggs and bale. and we have produced hee haw

Believable11 Unbelievable17

WTF has crowds in Scotland got to do with Wales producing world class players. DH

Agree18 Disagree4

All clubs attendances have been dropping since 2008 when the financial meltdown struck. Nothing to do with Rangers.

Agree20 Disagree6

Oh well. let's hope ally sticks on another striker then before you start on the countries credit rating too

Now I know why you said one of the worst your obviously the other

Hmmm OP how much garbage can one person spout in one post. I'd imagine almost every 3rd division teams attendances are up based on last season. I would think Dundee's are up too, quite possibly Ross County's. So is that 11 wrong claims already? Oh and by the way you are 20 pts clear.

Charlies gone all quiet, mabe him& jabba are making up pr spin ahead of nimmo smiths report. if this report goes against rangers, why will so many be angerd, as its a judgement being passed against rangers. The rangers fans should be bothering about the way mr greene is dodging the real questions and only answering pre read questions whilst downunder. I shudder to think what dross he will spout. sm

Believable27 Unbelievable20

Very quiet indeed from Green and Traynor. Strangely quiet. Somethings up.

Agree24 Disagree13

Green told one the supporters groupsa abroad that he expected a decision on the title stripping on the 28th February

Agree11 Disagree7

Bloody hell THE CELTIC go on bout him when saying to much then when he is quiet use still go on about him what is it use the celtic fans are obsessed about. the titles do affect us because we have 54 title just now and we want to keep it that way. I can't wait till number 55

Agree14 Disagree20

Can I ask. We do not know what the outcome will be. To be honest I will not lose any sleep over the result but let's just for the sake of argumet Rangers are only charged with a misdemeener of a missaprioprate addmin. Will all you timmies come on here and say " Sorry we got it wrong".
Thought that would be your reaction.

Did anyone take heed off the glaring warnings about whyte?nooo all was timmy lies, were too big an institution with millions of fans world wide. If these millions of fans had a wip round, it woud have saved the club& as greene has stated live on camera"if not get the cva, all gone history the lot& will be a newco"so why disagree when the man said it for all too hear, yet after he realised the anger and frothing at the mouth bears, he said he was getting death threats& in safe houses&the next minute plays the victim card& he has bought the history too get the masses back, low& behold he's won them over&touring the world trying too drum up much needed cash. when ever accounts are made public, place your bets on charlie be heading into the sun set with his ("BIG HANDS"FULL OF CASH"another 1 straight from his mouth")look at the statements he's said, ALL lies, wake up before it all ends in tears again. Agree17 Disagree2

"The original investors will make our money from a share offering" Charles Green.

Agree5 Disagree2

Just for the sake of argument what if Charles Green has put off the sponsorship deal because he actually thinks that far from being a kangaroo court that LNS will not try to strip titles from us?

Surely any potential sponsors would be willing to pay bigger money for a club that hasn't been found guilty of issuing illegal contracts?

Agree2 Disagree6

A misdemeanor of failing to date a registration form cost spartans fine of 25% of there annual income -kicked out of the cup and omitted from the following yesrs competition

Agree8 Disagree0

Why don't you personS realise the stripping of titles is the thing that actually does you no damage. CG mouthing off is just to appease the fans, if that was your punishment green would because a big stramash about it (for the fans only)well the dafties with the blue tinted glasses on. but inside he, d be laughing at you and rubbing his hands all the way to the bank

Lets talk about Football today then guys a novel idea I know. So away to Stirling tonight bit of payback has to be on the cards we now have a winning mentality on our travels & let's face it there one of the worst sides in Britain but I can't see us keeping a clean sheet so my prediction is 4-1 to Rangers 2 goals For Andy Little thoughts bears? Hope McKay can get on the park what does the lad need to do to get another Start in my opinion he should be rotated with Deano I am not Shiels biggest fan playing off the forward I think he gives very little support to a solitary striker but he is capable of scoring and assisting where would my fellow bears think his best position would be for us?

Believable11 Unbelievable13

OP - Mckay has started in our last three games and was brought on as a sub in the three games before that so he is getting his chance, unfortunately his form looks as if it has dipped since the start of the season though.

I would like to see us try an alternative to hutton in the middle, don't know who but surely we must have another central midfielder on our books, I doubt if hutton will be able to play at a level up from where we are right now as his displays against inverness and dundee utd would suggest

JG

Agree0 Disagree3

You're saying they're one of the worst teams in Britain, Stirling Albion 1-0 bottom of division 3, so this must mean The Ranger's is in top 20 worst teams in Britain? yes.

Agree8 Disagree5

Payback? against the Albion? Get a life, although Stirling just managed to get off the bottom of the table at the weekend form figures will show that they are currently the 2nd best team over the last 5 weeks - but surely the Gers can win comfortably tonight?

Agree2 Disagree9

@1 his form dropped because ally dropped him for bo reason what so ever, while he was playing well others around him were playing rubbish and he was the 1 getting dropped, ally knows nothing about management.

Agree5 Disagree2

@2 change the script ffs.

Agree6 Disagree2

@1 I missed the game at the weekend I didn't think he played and I don't expect miracles from the lad just think he should support the striker. Good point on Hutton heard good things about the lad Andy Murdoch. Also Luca Gasparroto gets spoke well of hopefully we could see him replace Perry or Cribari soon.

@2 if that's how u want to look at it fine But Rangers will win the 3rd division this season & they will win Division 2 next season we accept where we are & we will work our way back we were not playing well away from home when Stirling beat us so I'd like us to remedy that tonight!

Agree3 Disagree1

@3 what do u mean Get a life? They beat us in Stirling last time I'm sure all Rangers fans & everyone at Rangers would like us to beat them there the only team to beat us domestically this season so yes it's a bit of Payback you get a life ya balloon!

Agree5 Disagree3

Can We Play You Every Week!

Agree4 Disagree1

You were close with your prediction pal lol that away winning mentality eh one up front against the worst team in Britain ally is quality

Agree4 Disagree0

Mister balloon your team still haven't won away to stirling albion, so no payback. looks like celtic are going to win the race to the title first

Agree8 Disagree0

@7, "domestically"? What international tournaments have you been beaten in?

at least rangers try and address the sectarian chanting, they have came out in the past and said its not wanted at the club, the club have put out statements, also fans have had booklets and reminders put on seats within the ground, so before anybody from other clubs try and take the moral stance ( and that's also outwith celtic), have a look at your own clubs, many have the same thing going on within their support, only in their case the silence is deafening!

Believable8 Unbelievable28

The point is not matter what happens to these 'fans' they will not stop acting like this. Its the age old cliche, we have to educate the youth. The kids have to be taught what it means to be a rangers fan (and a fan of any team), and the respect the team deserves whether that be in the stadium or in public.
Free ticket to next home game if you inform the police of any sectarian incident that results in an arrest :D and a complete ban from ibrox if caught.
Don

Agree15 Disagree5

There can be no doubt that Rangers have addressed these issues over the years resulting in steady progress but Ally stating that he never heard it and calling for a revised song book to eradicate what can only be described as putrid bile is woefully short of what is required and the club statement declaring their " dissapointment " also falls short of properly tackling the situation head on. over the other side of town we have the CO of Celtic purposely renaging on a promise to deal with the dessecration of the nations war dead and turning a blind eye and using selective hearing when it comes to his clubs supporters incessant defiance of their own banned songbook ( particularily away from home ). my point here is that if we're all in agreement that change is necessary then we have to take a stearner approach and self police. from CO's, Managers, right down to the foot soldiers who are in fact best placed to achieve this objective. this needs to happen,, we need to acknowledge the problem and take steps within football to deal with it because if we don't then the authorities will and their method will inevitably lead to decent supporters being criminalised for nothing other than following their respective teams. maybe an alliance of representitives from supporters trusts would be beneficial in keeping it in the hands of the decent supporters aided and abetted by senior officials from their clubs. I don't have the answers but doing nothing or superficially papering over the cracks is certainly not an option. the time has come to deal with this issue once and for all to ensure that future generations have a game to go to.

Agree9 Disagree12

Closed door games is the only way to stop it! Any of the disgusting songs from the weekend, (not only the weekend I am sure your club have a lot more songs like this to sing) and the next game at ibrox is empty! I bet that will get the out of your club quick smart because the decent supporters (which rangers can boast of having thousands of) will make sure this gets stopped! Simple fact is these people want to support their teams he right way which they have in incredible numbers since liquidation, and they aren't to let the hoardes of low life neds ruin that!

@3 there is no way rangers would go for that. They need all the cash they can get from games. Nothing will be done. Green still hasn't addressed this which is shocking

Agree7 Disagree2

@4: if there were fines, even £40k like that given to Inter for the racial abuse dished out to Balotelli at the weekend (even though that's a derisory amount) would make Green do something.

Although he might just appeal.
