Here's another post from me that some of you can slate me for.

I'm not a member, but could the rangers fan group collect some of the valid tactical suggestions posted on here and get in touch with Stevie for him to have a look at.

A brilliant player yes, but still not getting it right on the team management. Early days yet and although he has only been here a few months, deserves a chance to improve quicker with experienced help.

27 Dec 2018 05:08:55
Ha brilliant billy.

27 Dec 2018 10:31:11
Bluebilly. your post is either hilarious or worryingly mad. I have now read it a few times and still can't make my mind up if you are having a laugh or being serious. Please put my mind at rest and tell me you are taking the p.

27 Dec 2018 12:23:08
i see Rangers Rumours care in the community programme is going well.

26 Dec 2018 22:48:14
I’m getting fed up of the keyboard coaches on Facebook and there are a few on here as well. Slating the players for not being good enough yet failing to realise that we do not have the budget to sign better players. Ask yourself honestly how many of our players would get into celtics side? Then ask yourself honestly how many of their best XI could we afford to buy and not their wages?

The biggest problem with our football club is the level of expectation. There is no problem with the effort of the players or the management we simply expect them to be better than they are. Our support needs a reality check. Until we can compete with Celtic off the park we can’t match them on it. Like it or lump it, we need to be realistic and get behind the players we have who in my opinion have exceeded realistic expectations so far this season.

26 Dec 2018 23:11:29
So your saying we need to spend millions to beat the likes of Hibs, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Dundee, Livingstone? Reality check is, we have far more money than any of those clubs and they are taking points from us regularly, another thing it should not be above our club and our clubs supporters expectations to beat such teams.

With the budget we have it's embarrassing to be getting so many poor results regardless of how far behind THEM we are, we have only played them once, it's other teams that have done the damage to us, teams with a fraction of our budget. So when you say get a reality check, practice what you preach because we are a poor side and that's because we have some poor players and a rookie manager. We can't keep changing managers and i don't want us to but we need to get more out of these players, they are getting Rangers wages but not producing Rangers quality.

26 Dec 2018 23:12:28
Fans are just expressing their opinions as every fan from ever team does both good and bad.

26 Dec 2018 23:21:16
It's the sense of entitlement "The People" have. Great stuff.

26 Dec 2018 23:33:35
I guess that comes with being the worlds most successful club.

27 Dec 2018 10:49:11
". the worlds most successful club. "

Could we give this a break. It's getting embarrassing and makes us look like idiots.

In all my travels, I've never met anyone apart from us who cares about it or believes we are more successful than Real Madrid.

28 Dec 2018 11:27:23
Jordy, you are spot on there mate .

I cannot think on a solution under our circumstances to get us going properly. As I said on a previous post (that I got hammered for) we are slipping back into the poor defending pre Stevie era.

How many times already this season have we been in front only to end up with a draw in the last 30 mins or so?

26 Dec 2018 22:44:27
Well, unlike most posters on here I thought we played really well today.

We controlled the game and kept Hibs to only a Handful of opportunities.

It's clear that a few of our key players are struggling with tiredness or fitness (Tav, Goldson in particular) and that we need to add a couple in key positions that will help unlock defences.

After one transfer window we are miles ahead of last year. We are within touching distance on top spot and given that everyone is taking points off everyone else we have a big opportunity if we can strengthen in January.

Of course, it's far easier to trash our manager and players where we find ourselves in 2nd place at Christmas!

26 Dec 2018 23:16:16
Of course we are going to criticise the players and the manager, it's no good playing well and dropping points all the time, or not even playing well and dropping points all the time. We have not improved, it's all well and good saying aw great still in second, the fact is we have no better a points total than this time last year and it was a poor disgraceful season at that point but because everyone else has dropped points it's acceptable now.

27 Dec 2018 05:10:54
Good post DK I agree.

27 Dec 2018 05:21:15
Celtic have gave us a squeak this year but last couple of months we’ve dropped silly points games we should’ve won so fans are frustrated and have right to say so . we should be ahead of Celtic amount silly points we’ve dropped we have same as last year some people on here tell us to shut up stop moaning need to shut up themselves . hopefully we can do some wheeling and dealing in January to kick us on again and start picking up points again.

27 Dec 2018 08:07:46
You're right stewarty 65,we have to wheel and deal in january. This is only my opinion, but i feel we must sign steven davis, for his all round midfield ability and experience! We must sign a no 10,who can contribute with goals and open up the tightest of defences, with the killer ball. We also must sign another striker, as we're bare in this department and we need to lighten the load on alfredo morelos. He can't do it all himself all the time!

27 Dec 2018 09:30:07
Good post Super you have said what every Rangers fan is thinking.
We are also carrying a few injuries like Arfield, Barasic, McAuley and Murphy.
Against St Johnstone Lafferty was brought on to support Morelos and it changed the game.
Do we go 4-4-2?
Hopefully we make the signings you suggested.

28 Dec 2018 11:28:19
Know what, I wish some posters on here who have some valid tactical suggestions could get together and come face to face with Stevie and show him where he is going wrong, (and he is by the way) .

26 Dec 2018 22:43:07
Did we not learn from Aberdeen not to make subs so late. Get them on at 60 70 mins. Coulaby was done. At least if we go behind we have plenty of time to come back. The squad are running on empty and the Celtic game is one to far. Pretty much all of celtics attacking players are in form and we're down to a exhausted skeleton squad. It could be an uncomfortable afternoon for us. let's hope our medical team work some magic over the next few days and we get a bit of luck.

26 Dec 2018 22:20:12
Ratings for today:
McGregor 6, tavernier 5, worrall 5.5, goldson 5.5, halliday 6, jack 7, mccrorie 7, coulibaly 5, candeias 4, Middleton 5, Morelos 7.
Subs:
katic 5, rossiter 3, Lafferty 3.

26 Dec 2018 23:13:54
Tavernier is a joke as captain and both him and Candeais crossing was once again woeful.

26 Dec 2018 20:47:45
Its tough to watch this at times brothers . We look a bit lost and tired. Hope we have the heart to get right into this mob Saturday. I feel we have the legs, let's not lose faith bears. That mob today were as good as we come up against without giving the ginger fanny credit. 3-1 against the people and make men of this mob. We show up and beat them it's 55.

26 Dec 2018 23:23:38
Going to be a bad head in the morning for Nose Blue.

26 Dec 2018 20:22:09
Time to be honest, should have qualified from europa league group teams we played were average, league form is poor i'm starting to doubt our manager, team selection, timing of subs abaility to change tactics who's desicion was it to sign Grezda he had been injured since may hard to watch fear the worst for Saturday.

26 Dec 2018 21:39:04
I agree, he is inexperienced in mamagement and that shows, we keep playing the same formation and he keeps thinking tbe results are going to improve, candyass, middleton keep throwing balls into the box for who? Morelos, not a prolific headerer of the ball. Good managers adapt, i can see the old warburton thinking coming to mind . Worrying times ahead .

26 Dec 2018 19:52:34
Wright if we do not play lafferty and morales on Saturday and play a 4-4-2 we will get hammered and for Goldson coming on in the second half limping that was a joke.

26 Dec 2018 20:12:13
We played morelos and lafferty together at celtic park in the first league game and it was a very comfortable 1-0 win for them! We must make it very difficult for them in midfield, to play through us! If we open up in this game or go light in midfield, we will get done in, simple as that!

26 Dec 2018 21:13:08
I've read all the previous posts, some saying we are no better than last year. The league is more open this year with Celtic slipping up. let's be positive, we can win this league, we better as I've got 9/1.

26 Dec 2018 22:01:32
supercoop we can not just flood midfield and sit in against them it is so frustrating to watch and is not getting us results as we are currently doing this every game.
Things have to chance so why not give them something to think about and have a go at them Celtic ain't Barcelona there defence can be got at bout time we had a go least fans will appreciate us giving a go.

26 Dec 2018 22:31:40
Tbh the leauges is close cause celtic been poor need more than loan players from clubs that they have no chance of ever playing for in first place we can't compete with even smaller clubs in England for a decent loan player.

27 Dec 2018 08:16:08
Craigs8688,if we don't least match their personel count in midfield, we'll get over run in there, simple as that! They've got a much stronger midfield than ours at present and we have to nulify that. If we go open and leave spaces in there, they will pound us. We have to compensate and i believe we have to have more bodies in midfield, thus closing down the space at every turn! We have to keep ourselves in the game, frustrate them and then maybe have a chance of getting the 3 points!

26 Dec 2018 19:39:41
Oh well same old. Atmoshere was great until we had to listen to the hiv support because our team let us down again. Its not working, we are no better than last year. Tav and Candy the comedy team. Spend all day apologising to each other after the latest blunder. Worral did well, Maccrorie also. Why Wont he change tactics. The subs didn't work out out too late. Should have left team to hang on. Catch the next train to Liverpool mate.

26 Dec 2018 20:00:21
Sore to take all the missed opportunities but really " catch the next train to Liverpool " and then what? murty until the next one and so on! Be patient it'll come good with this management team.

26 Dec 2018 20:13:58
Ryan jack AGAIN, was rangers best player today against hibs. Certainly my MOTM!

26 Dec 2018 20:54:51
You catch the next train to Parkhead. Clueless, not welcome at Ibrox with views like that. Then again you probably couldn’t even point Ibrox out on a map.

‘No better than last year’. We’ve just played 14 games in Europe and lost 2 you absolute weapon.

26 Dec 2018 21:53:00
Coop right leg made a good point, Rome wasn’t built in a day, when Stevie G took the job, he said it would take a few transfer windows to build a team worthy of the shirt.

26 Dec 2018 22:27:21
I disagree Coop, my man of the match was McRorie, solid no nonsense. Keep playing this ypumg fellow. I know i'm going to upset some people but again i thought our captain was poor. let's be honest, what has he done? His defending is crap as is his final ball.

26 Dec 2018 22:33:17
Think we'll sign a few players in January, freshen things up. Gerrard has made mistakes but so do all managers. Changing our manager? Mad.

26 Dec 2018 22:35:19
BearMode,

I don’t agree with the comment about catch the next train to Liverpool either however to tell someone they are or welcome at Ibrox is way out of line. People are entitled to their opinions good and bad.

27 Dec 2018 22:16:19
McRae is a time, look back at posts.

26 Dec 2018 19:31:47
Has the time come for Pena to be given a chance seen as we can't create anything? Also, how long are we as fans going to continue to use the excuse of "where we've came from".

26 Dec 2018 19:53:16
I think he should be given a chance.

26 Dec 2018 20:37:27
Don't think he should be back near a rangers shirt, I'll be disgusted if he is. wiping his nose on our crest is sometching I won't forgive. Remember the outrage when griffiths done it? This guy was our own player and did it, between that and his drunken antics out on loan we should have sacked him, pretty sure we had grounds.

26 Dec 2018 19:06:52
With the possession in the attacking third we have a top top number 10 would be eating these teams up. That’s what any money has to go on.

26 Dec 2018 19:19:41
Very hard position to fill unless you have a lot of cash.

26 Dec 2018 18:25:33
In the last 16 games our form is W6 D6 L4 that is terrible 24 points from 48. We ate all kidding ourselves if we think we will win the league and SG needs to get better himself as well as the players, it's already torrid watching us I just hope it doesn't get worse.

26 Dec 2018 18:39:40
The last 2 months have been really bad to watch but that's part of being a fan been there when its good and bad times.
For me its like the players just are not performing for gerrard or its his defensive minded tactics that are effecting our players.
We need get more support for morelos am positive if we tain a more attacking approach to our games you would find that points tally above would have been a lot better and players would be be playing with confidence not fear like they are now.

26 Dec 2018 18:45:41
I'm another frustrated bear tonight,
just like the majority of you, after watching our laboured performance against hibs at ibrox today. A game is always won or lost, dependant on who dominates the midfield area. We had 3 defensive midfielders playing in our midfield today, ie. jack who's our best defensive midfielder,
mccrorie and coulibaly, who should be dropped as he's offering nothing and has been like that for weeks now. We have no creativity in our midfield and apart from possibly playing 2 defensive midfielders against celtic
ie. jack and mccrorie, we should only be playing 1 defensive midfielder, against all the other teams! There's absolutely no need whatsoever, to legislate, playing 3 defensive midfielders in a game against hibs. We need different styled mids not all the same type! Hope arfield is fit for saturday, its a must!

26 Dec 2018 18:57:08
Jordy, we could have 1 point from our last 48 but we’re still only 3 points off the top with a massive game on Saturday! I know it’s frustrating but let’s get the win on saturday then add a few attacking players in January!
I wouldn’t be going to Ibrox or reading this site if I didn’t think we could win the league!

26 Dec 2018 19:03:21
Totally agree Supercoop. Our midfield, with the exception of Ryan Jack, is just not good enough. Jack has been fantastic, and in my opinion, should be our captain. We have no creativity going forward. We have no one who can thread a pass through the opposition defence. We have no one prepared to shoot from distance.

26 Dec 2018 19:10:10
Once again the delivery into the box from Candeias and Tavernier was shocking. As you say Supercooper 3 defensive midfielders is unacceptable at home to Hibs. Another laboured performance against a team who were there for the taking. Play as badly as that on Saturday and it will be another doing.

26 Dec 2018 19:53:54
Thought Hibs deserved their point today - they played well second half. A number of disappointing points about us, some already mentioned - first 4 crosses went directly out the park, Rangers corners - Hibs leave 2 up on half way line, Hibs corner - Rangers have no-one near the half way line. But the one thing that got me was the lack of urgency when Hibs scored. No one ran for the ball, all heads went down, no drive. I understand the disappointment amongst the players but there was still at least 6 minutes left. Once we kicked off - only McGregor looked really up for the fight.

26 Dec 2018 19:54:15
If you look at most teams who play this formation the have people who score from the wings there centre mids chip in with goals.
currently our players are not chipping in with goals that's why we are struggling hopefully this can be sorted in jan with few new additions
Would fellow fans take out our current wingers if we could find ones that score goals.

26 Dec 2018 19:56:47
Nice to know your just a glory hunter 87. Everyone of us want to win the league, but I wouldn't stop supporting my team if I don't think they could.

26 Dec 2018 21:00:17
If anyone thinks we can win the league they are completely deluded. I feel like I’m having one of those dreams where you can’t find your voice. How many of our players would get in their side? Two, maybe three. I’m sick of saying it but until we can close the financial gap we have little chance of closing the gap on the park but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get behind the players we have.

26 Dec 2018 22:46:05
Your right Jordy most of us are kidding ourselves if we think we can win the league.
Looks to me we will be 9 points behind the bhoys by Jan window. Yes I am still behind Stevie and he should be given time to get his act together. Remember last season we were in third spot second if bhoys had not helped the sheep to spite us.

That being said, opposition teams seam to have sussed us out and wait till we are knackered in the last 15 or so mins before pouncing on our hopeless defence.

26 Dec 2018 22:49:42
Gloryhunter! 😂 every home and away ground coming through the leagues, every home game since my dad bought me my first season ticket!

I ALWAYS think we can win the league, that’s what I was getting at!
Apologies if I confused your Marco.

26 Dec 2018 18:16:28
Some people seem to very negative about the team this season. Yes we want to see beating Hibs, but over the last couple of seasons Rangers wouldn't have come back to beat St. Johnstone after going a goal behind, they would have been luck to come back and get a draw. Yes, the team has been inconsistent, but I feel we are improving. Of course we would all live to see Rangers win the league, but after the last few seasons I wanted to see improvement and challenging. Gerrard is also still learning the job and I am happy to give him time. Hopefully we can win the league but as long as we keep close and finish a good second, I feel we will be heading in the correct direction. let's stay positive and get behind the team and continue to support them. !

26 Dec 2018 18:57:48
So, coming back to beat St Johnstone does it for you? Wow! If that statement does not prove how low our standards and expectations have dropped, nothing will.

26 Dec 2018 19:07:55
Compared to league table last season after 20 games:

This season we:
. Have lost 3 games less
. 3 points more
. Goal difference is 12 better
. Scored 3 more goals
. Conceded 9 goals less
. Over 40 more shots on target.

26 Dec 2018 19:16:30
slk73 of course I would have loved to see us beat St. Johnstone 3 or 4 nothing but we didn’t, but we got 3 points that I don’t think we would have got last season. We have to be realistic, we don’t have a squad strong enough to beat these teams convincingly at the moment. I want to see us win everything but then again we have to be realistic. I suppose it bring up the old adage if performance against results.

26 Dec 2018 19:26:58
Brilliant! Are we playing better?
Ok Stato, here's a question. How many points have we dropped against the top teams in the league? Count the points dropped against Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs and Kilmarnock. Is that progress?

26 Dec 2018 20:07:33
We have yet to win a big game this season against the teams who qualified for Europe. 2 defeats to a quite woeful Aberdeen side, 2 draws against a struggling Hibs side and a poor performance against them. Until we start winning the big games then the jury is out on how good Gerrard is.

26 Dec 2018 20:08:50
Do you not think losing 3 games less already is a step in the right direction?

26 Dec 2018 15:21:35
Is anybody else having problems with the live chat page during games? Just got a blank screen, even when type anything in and send it. I've contacted the page to report it but wondered if anybody else had this problem.

{Ed033's Note - There was an error with it but i think it is fixed now ( for the next game)

26 Dec 2018 22:45:01
Been same for last 2 ganes.

26 Dec 2018 17:33:07
I've not bad mouthed Gerard once but today the whole copland front new a goal was coming with 30mins to go. Why on earth did he not change it then. Hibs had a back 3 and we did nothing. Apart from McGregor and Morales we are a bang average team and it really is getting worst.

26 Dec 2018 18:06:48
That equaliser was coming all day long. Too many players who are just not good enough.
Tav is never captain material, and for his defensive positioning, where do I start?
Candeias is brutal.
Coulibaly can't pass the ball or tackle.
Middleton, as much as I like him, should not be in the first team. I am not slating the boy, but at 18, he's not ready.
As much as we do not want to hear this, Stevie G is a rookie making rookie mistakes. Add this to the fact that half the team are not good enough it could get very depressing unless we add a bit of quality in January.
Do you think Stevie G would be getting it so easy if Celtic hadn't been as poor as they have been? Let's be honest, if any of our previous 3 managers were getting results like we have recently, and Celtic were 12 points plus in front, there would have been uproar in the stands and elsewhere calling for them to be sacked. Just being Stevie G appears to get you extra time and a lot more slack than the rest.

26 Dec 2018 18:27:08
Your right Stevie G is a rookie manager making rookie mistake, but it’s not his fault Celtic are brutal!
On paper we are 3 points behind with and Old Firm at the weekend! Let’s see how that pans out first.
Also if we had 1 or 2 quality forward thinking players we would have these kind of games wrapped up early doors. Don’t forget January is just around the corner and SG has already stated he needs attacking options.

Yes disappointed, but not the end of the world!

26 Dec 2018 18:52:25
Who says it was his fault Celtic were brutal? What do you mean by that?
Now, 87 Henderson, I'm going to make this as easy to understand as I can. It's only because Celtic are so brutal that we are still in the running, however, if we continue to drop so many points, and they get their act together, then it won't be long until they are out of sight.
FFS, if we can't beat Hibs or Aberdeen at home, what chance have we against Celtic? What evidence have you seen, or saw, in previous games against them that we have any chance? Blind loyalty is all you have.

26 Dec 2018 18:58:30
that was poor today - no dig no drive no energy - agreed a hibs goal was on the cards most of the 2bd half - why did it takes another 15 2nd half minutes to decide goldson was struggling? - once again taking corners proved troublesome to us- not their defence- middleton should be used as an impact player - don't think he's ready for the starting 11 - wish i had some positives from today - thank god morelos scored - come on gers! we're better than this!

26 Dec 2018 21:31:59
SLK, Well at least I have loyalty! Your seem more in what they are doing! Who cares about them? I don’t!
No one remembers how good or bad teams were, the record books will say we won 55 so we can be as bad or as good as anyone as long as we finish top!
I care about us winning games! 1-0 or 12-0 I don’t care as long as we get the result!
I’ve seen enough shocks in old firm games to know anything can happen, Especially this season when both teams are unpredictable. Nice to know your heading to Ibrox with optimism.
I’ll tell you what I’ve never done though, admit defeat before a ball is kicked.

26 Dec 2018 22:12:15
Haha! We're not winning the games 1-0 you rocket. We're not getting the results. when was the last old firm shock? Again, blind loyalty.

27 Dec 2018 04:32:25
Think it’s better supporters with blind loyalty than ones that just come out in fair weather. no one said it was going to be easy. in fact the opposite. what slk you expect Stevie g to come in and turn it around after half a season? Treadin over a manager that has had multiple champ league revenue just like that? Get a grip son and show a little bottle. stayin power and loyalty.

28 Dec 2018 11:23:07
Fairweather? Brilliant! So, you're not a true supporter if you criticize the team? What a load of rubbish. I, like many others, spend a fortune following my team on season tickets and merchandise. If, and when I feel it is merited, I will criticsize the team. If we can't beat Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Dundee, Livingston, Hibs then I, and anyone else, have the right to vent our frustrations. If you read my posts, and I have made a point of making them as easy as I can for people like yourself to understand, it's not all about beating Celtic it's more about the crap results against teams we should be beating. Out with Celtic, we spend millions more on our team and the results are just not good enough.

26 Dec 2018 17:24:59
for me our team are so disappointing they can not string a run of wins together.
I think this because of our managers negative tactics he seems to think we can defend a 1 nill lead and then hit on the counter.
we are simply not good enough to do this and he should see this but he doesn't its like he is blind to the fact and keeps playing same way its not working.
If the players there are not performing for him then its time he signed players who will or give the younger players a chance hibs have done it and it ain't made them worse.
Our midfield is that poor we may as well miss them out and go 2 strikers and give morelos some support warburton Pedro murty now gerrard have all played this formation its not working.

26 Dec 2018 17:24:58
How many points did we have this time last season?

26 Dec 2018 17:45:33
who cares its this season you should be worried about.

26 Dec 2018 17:22:46
why is live chat not working?

{Ed033's Note - i've may have fixed it now, thanks.

26 Dec 2018 17:20:43
Tav cannot defend
Coulabaly shocking since injury
Morelos needs support
Middle of the park creates zero
Unless SG can fix this in January, 2nd half of the season is going to be torture.

26 Dec 2018 17:16:20
sick of our players failing to take chances despite lots of posession. . seems like every keeper plays out of their skin and we continue to drop points. gutted AGAIN.

26 Dec 2018 17:20:47
We didn’t deserve anything more than a draw and tbh I didn’t think their keeper made any saves he shouldn’t have made. We were awful today again.

26 Dec 2018 17:14:17
We are crying out for a striker and a midfielder who can score from outside the box our lack of goals compared to chances this season is alarming Lafferty ain’t doing it and none of our midfield are even trying a shot from outside the area. I realise we’ve played a fair few games this season but tiredness is a poor excuse for a relatively young team. I cringe when I think where we would be without Morelos this season.

26 Dec 2018 17:44:13
Why does everyone say lafferty isn't doing it? Ten mins here n there is hardly a confidence builder, he's not going to score if he doesn't play. Last few weeks have been shocking, to me we look lost, exactly like last year.

26 Dec 2018 18:36:50
I disagree with you Lafferty has had plenty chances and he’s not doing it!

Strikers strive on confidence, not getting a run of games can hardly build that. Was excellent villa real away dropped next game, Motherwell away dropped neXT game. Been like that all season, we should be playing him and morelos at home at least.

26 Dec 2018 17:13:20
came to the conclusion gerrard is an absolute dumpling, takes middleton and cpulibally off and brings on rossiter and lafferty, what was the purpose could easily have seen the game out with six minutes to go, don't want to be a jonah lads but there is no way he will win us the league with decisions like that, and a final note get shot of tav in january that guy should hang his head in shame after that performance today.

26 Dec 2018 17:22:20
Truebluesotrue, . are you awright son? Bit disappointed r u? Gerrard is a dumpling? . Sit doon and eat your selection boxes. do u actually know anything about football or do u just spout nonsense as a pastime?

26 Dec 2018 17:43:14
aye dutchy see who spouts nonsense after saturday if we get pumped playing the same team as today, still say stevie boy is naive when it comes to making changes

26 Dec 2018 18:11:01
I agree truebluesoblue is probably feeling a bit emotional in his post but he has a point that was a poor judgement call by Gerrard putting 2 players in cold for the last 7 or 8 minutes while we’re in a winning position is stupid and we paid for it, now they may have scored anyway we’ll never know but that’s 2 points dropped on the back of a double substitution so it definitely can't go down as a good decision. All that said I still believe in Gerrard #letsgo.

26 Dec 2018 20:41:01
Thought rossiter was a good change today . ok so it didn’t happen for us this time . we will just have to try harder but the bullet and stop expecting to have any divine rights at this time if our evolution . hibs dans know they got out of jail . they celebrated like a win . it will come good . desperately missing Arfield and Barisic. it will come tho.

26 Dec 2018 17:08:12
Celtic win on saturday good night fs definitely needed all 3 points the day.

26 Dec 2018 17:15:45
Team looks dunn in and ran out of ideas. GUTTED🇬🇧.

26 Dec 2018 17:07:36
Once again we were the better team and we couldn't take all 3 points, it's not good enough and it's happening too often. We should have battered hibs last week and we should have beat them again today, we can only defend these results for so long. So we are now 3 points behind THEM, probably won't beat THEM on Saturday and I am sorry but if anyone is confident of a win on Saturday that can only be hope upon hope. By the time they play their game in hand we could be out of it these results aren't good enough.

26 Dec 2018 17:03:54
Also, Tavernier delivery needs to get better, we have a corner in the last minute to win the game and he hits the 1st defender, so frustrating watching it happen time and time again.

26 Dec 2018 17:06:49
His deliverys haven't been great last few weeks fs.

26 Dec 2018 17:03:12
You HAVE to finish your chances in this league. Right now Morelos is the only one who can put the ball in the net. One goal is not enough! You can play 90 minutes of possession but it only take one bounce. We have been dropping points all season long because of this. So frustrating! Hibs were awful. Didn't deserve a point. Coulibaly was terrible this game. He's a got players making runs and multiple times he plays the ball behind them. He neutralized Tav and Candeias for this game. As people have said last week, if we play like this against Celtic we are going to get pumped.

26 Dec 2018 17:01:08
Got exactly what we deserved there, need to kill the games off or the danger of and equaliser is always there. total lack of killer instinct in the final 3rd, relying for too much on Alfie, need others to chip in.

26 Dec 2018 17:05:33
Gutted! I think thar was about the only chance they had as well. Tbh i was expecting it the way our luck is going. Walking wounded as well. Will we be able to put 11 fit guys on the park on Saturday? Very disappointed but pleased with the effort.

26 Dec 2018 17:08:21
Knew it was coming. We have no goals from the midfield. Keep hearing people saying the same thing but the type of player we are missing will cost millions that we probably don’t have. Until we have the sort of money required to sign such a player we’re doomed to battling it out for second.

26 Dec 2018 17:14:29
Aanother sub-par performance and we badly need quality players.
Need to get rid of:
Coullably
Rossiter
Worral
Grezda
few others

Our passing is terrible, we can, t wait to give the ball to oposition that, s why we cannot beat mediocur Teams like Hibs.

Merry Christmas!

26 Dec 2018 20:44:09
Rossiter and Worral were good today . dry your eyes and give credit where due Coulibaly had poor game as did tav.

26 Dec 2018 17:00:31
Im absolutely sick of the same football being played we can't even string a couple of victories together celtic could easily be away into the sunset if they beat us then win their game in hand.

26 Dec 2018 17:06:37
Totally agree, if we play like we have been recently then Celtic will get 3 points of us again. We don't look a threat, Warroll is mince as is Tav. Are we much better off than previous years.

26 Dec 2018 17:37:15
To be honest goalie i think we might just be slightly better than we have previously been but its still no good formation has been found out and were not taking chances.

26 Dec 2018 15:49:34
listen to Hartson on BT today. Supposed to provide independent comment. The man is an imposter totally biased and almost greetin when the mingers went inti the lead.

26 Dec 2018 17:02:45
Slipped up again can’t see us beating them on Saturday but here’s hoping.

26 Dec 2018 17:06:37
The man is just an arse.

26 Dec 2018 17:09:47
Harrison doesn't actually need to provide unbiased comment. It's not the news.

26 Dec 2018 17:09:53
Hartson*.

26 Dec 2018 15:19:56
15 Minutes in. The passing by both team has been shocking. Can't believe this is supposed to be professional football.

26 Dec 2018 13:59:55
Halliday lb today must be nailed on to play againts the mingers.

26 Dec 2018 17:10:28
Thought Halliday played really well today to be fair.

26 Dec 2018 13:34:44
Maybe controversial but i'd rest Tav and Morelos the day, cannot afford any injuries, suspensions pending the aul firm. I realise the wee man has been our top man this season but I think the gazelle is finally coming onto his best form again after a period of inconsistency and offield personal issues.

Yet to really have a look. at Flanagan in his natural position, which baffles me, Gerrard rotates almost every other position apart from tavs and in my opinion has been to the dettremamt of the side.

Allow Flannagan to take up that role and we may even see Tav pushing further forward to where I think he is best utilised.

I'd go With a line up of

Mgregor
Flannagan
Mcauley
Goldson
Halliday
Mcrorie
Candeias
Middleton
Kent
Grezda
Lafferty.

26 Dec 2018 15:56:33
Simple and honest answer, we rely on Morelos and can't afford to rest him.

26 Dec 2018 16:59:26
I rest my case. Tavernier is an absolute liability who does nothing for our side.

26 Dec 2018 17:51:07
No really a case. We were brutal again but don't think your idea of playing with 4 wingers and only one cm would have worked any better.

26 Dec 2018 10:42:07
Question bears, with Barasic out for Hibs and Celtic, who should start LB, Halliday, Flannigan, or Wallace (given lack of game time and match fitness)?

26 Dec 2018 11:44:21
i’d go wallace Sir stuth

halliday and jack midfield

who disagreed - you’re faking a Q?!

26 Dec 2018 11:45:10
Wallace.

26 Dec 2018 11:45:51
Has to be Wallace as we need to have an actual LB ready for the Celtic game.

26 Dec 2018 11:53:47
Halliday given the 100% commitment he gives in every game. Flanagan is out of position at LB and not seen Wallace much lately to know if he is fully fit.

26 Dec 2018 12:36:09
Going by the provisional squad Wallace isn't even listed on it to be selected.

26 Dec 2018 12:45:41
wallace all day long.

26 Dec 2018 14:25:42
It's a shame that Wallace isn't playing. Surely that decision isn't a footballing one, no matter what was said at the AGM. Halliday is dreadful. I'd actually like to see us go and pick up the Kilmarnock left back, Taylor, in January.

26 Dec 2018 14:35:56
Wallace left back and halliday anywhere out the team.

26 Dec 2018 06:26:40
What do you think of morelos if he keeps up current form i don't see him here after the summmer i don't see him leaving in jan but if he gets 30 + goals this season plus europa league added into that then if i was another club i would slap 15M on him to test the water with Rangers i'm guessing if all ends up well for morelos he goes for 15M -18M in the summer no chance we could refuse that .

26 Dec 2018 09:12:57
Gers fan first time poster - I do think if we got a bid of 15 million I think we would sell but I believe this be a mistake I think he is only get better as he matures so we try and hold onto him.

I do believe he needs some help and some more strikers to add pressure so There is a couple of strikers that might be worth considering - Jordan Rhodes Stephen fletcher as they would be quite cheap to get and i think if the gaffer got a hold of them he would knock them into shape.

26 Dec 2018 09:30:29
You're spot on Bigbear1.As much as i want morelos to stay at rangers,
forever if you like, i'm realistic and money does talk! I do like you,
believe alfredo will not leave in january, but i think there's a very strong possibility, that a big bid will come in for him in the summer and unfortunately we can't turn a massive offer and he'll be off to pastures new! I would hope he'd stay with us, at least another season,
after this one, but just can't see it! We bought him for £1million and i really do think, we'll get at least x 15 that for him, when he's sold!

26 Dec 2018 11:08:32
Big bear

As much as I rate El Buffalo there ain't exactly numerous clubs sniffing around him for this window anyway. Have to say glad about it but maybe his temperament big turn off to larger clubs and even probable transfer value.

26 Dec 2018 11:17:44
I am not really up to speed on the transfer system but get the impression transfer deals are made and rescinded by consultation between players, their clubs, and the players managers.

Probably wrong but feel the players wishes are the main deciding factor on transfers.

26 Dec 2018 02:43:11
Aye nae bother bigcliff that rubbish rant sounds as though your very name was the last thing u seen after that😂😂all joking aside it's that very negativity that u hear at Ibrox that makes me cringe. half time booer aye😂😂.

26 Dec 2018 00:42:15
Saw a post on twitter from a guy who met the full squad tonight after their team meeting. He said he spoke to Ryan jack and he’s fit so I wonder if he will go in the squad tomorrow or be saved for Saturday.
